You have the information of real people who used the services and products of Old Faithful Visitor and Education Center (Travel Agency) in Wyoming area.
Nowadays the firm receives a score of 4.7 stars out of 5 and that rating was based on 1235 reviews.
As you can see it has an average rating is almost the highest, and it's based on a high number of feddbacks, so we can say that the assessment is quite credible. If there are many people who bothered to leave their feddback when they are satisfied, is that it works.
As you know, we don't usually bother to give feddbacks when these are positive and we usually do it only if we've had a problem or incidence...
This Travel Agency is classified in the category of Visitor center.
It's decent. They show 2 different movies that teach you about old faithful and the park they are completely free and run all day long. Some educational exhibits too. Also can ask for info/help.
Warm clean facility with interesting info on Yellowstone inside. Staffed by friendly people. Top notch.
Yellowstone as a whole was great. I thought old faithful was good, but other parts of the park were more interesting. Also, signage around the visitor center could be a little clearer.
Old Faithful was an incredible experience. Nature at its best.
A must see place if you are in Yellowstone. You will be amazed to see the crowd that comes across to watch the show. The predictions are almost always accurate. they do have a dinning and a snack bar.
Great place to visit
Was cool to see old faithful erupt
Something everyone should see at least once in their life time.
The site of the (dare I say legendary?) Old Faithful. The visitor center includes educational exhibits, movies, and information about the park and surrounding areas. They have a pretty accurate (approximate) time for the next eruption of Old Faithful. Was a good time with the family.
It's an overpriced visitor center of course just be careful not to overspend money there
Not at all what I was expecting. The rangers sat us all down in the auditorium and locked the doors. They kept us in there for an hour, but now I can understand a little Chinese.
Indoor spot to see the geyser and rangers update times
I love it every time we go, 5 times so far. The park is well taken care of and the workers are very helpful. We LOVE the wildlife and all the sites to visit. We will be going back. We camp everytime we go, the camp grounds are taken care of nicely.
I just ran in to use the restroom and it was really nice!
Educational VC located near Old Faithful. Don't forget to check out the other geysers on trails there.
The building looks awesome, but it closes too early
Very nice center, helpful rangers. Well signed for what time Old Faithful (and other geysers) are expected to go off. There is a very cool and informative science exhibition hall - sort of like an interactive museum. Would definitely recommend kids do the junior ranger program!
Beautifully done, great history and information on wildlife from the area, great way to spend your time while waiting for the next geyser. Get out early to get a good seat for viewing the geyser. Visit the gift shop, great local artisans ceramics and other crafts available.
Thought it would be a little more exciting.
I've been here 3 separate visits, and in many other National Parks, from Maine to California. This is the most educational, interesting, complete and non-insulting one I"ve ever seen, anywhere!!! I didn't want to leave! My husband has taught Earth Science and all levels of Physics for high school, including AP, after a career in telecommunications engineering, and HE has been fascinated by everything he's seen, especially the Old Faithful exhibits. There are parts you read, parts you hear and watch, and really well-designed and executed panels that are interested and fun for everyone! WHAT MORE DO YOU NEED TO KNOW???
What a beautiful place a must go to place. I love to travel and I must say I'm so thankful to see Gods creations it never cease to amaze me
Beautiful visitor center, lots to see and learn, but if you're going in the summer, it is EXTREMELY crowded, so be prepared to Wade through swarms of visitors, foreign and domestic.
This was an amazing experience i recommend it to anyone near or at Montana
Not sure if Susan in the gift store will see this. She gave our little girl a stuffed bear and it has been a week and our girl still carries it around, talks to it and gives it lots of hugs. Thanks Susan! You helped make our girl's first Yellowstone trip a special one!
Yellowstone is one the best National park With unique wildlife and dramatic earth disturbances. I would say this is the must visit park atleast once in a lifetime. Old Faithful is the 2nd best for inside the yellowstone. You get to see the Natural wonder (geysers) for every 90 minutes. Please try to check the timings of eruption online and go to this place. So that you dont have to wait long just for eruption.
Awesome! Bring an umbrella...for the sun.
Great place to learn a bit and see what time old faithful will blow. Great clean bathrooms too!
Absolutely great visitor centre with loads of interesting information about the geyser which is especially great as it can be a while waiting for the geyser to erupt. Pretty much bang on prediction time for us. I liked that you can see old faithful from inside the visitor centre if it’s too cold or for any other reason you wish to stay inside. Really good toilets too!
We had a wonderful experience ! Everything was so very well cared for and prepared for each and every visitor! Thank you for also offering literature we plan to read with the 2000+ pictures I took during our winter visit throughout Yellowstone. The visit was topped off as we watched the beautiful Old Faithful ! Again...THANK YOU!
Great for education but we were kinda on the go, see as much as possible before work calls, but the wait was a welcome break, I just reccomend bringing a snack for the patient wait for the big eruption
The Old Faithful visitor center is a good place to kill approximately 60-90 minutes between shows!
Pretty packed. Multiple places that you can see the geyser from, though it was still pretty packed. I would recommend more parking places that aren't a crazy distance away. I do appreciate the small exhibit though!
Was okay not sure what I expected but I'm a little disappointed
I cannot imagine giving Old Faithful anything but 5 stars! Staff at visitor/education center were pleasant and knowledgeable and were happy to answer questions. This part of Yellowstone is wheelchair friendly and easy to maneuver on your own.
This center is amazing for kids and adults alike. It is still very new and the demonstrations are absolutely great. Even though I am an adult I enjoyed myself and learned a lot.
I learned a lot about Old Faithful and geothermal activity from here. It has a lot of interactive stations which will interest kids and it has a diorama which is meant for all ages. Old Faithful is also just out the back door so you don't have to walk that far just to see the internationally known geyser to erupt.
What an awesome educational center and offered at zero cost. Fun interactive exhibits and a great small gift shop.
So much to see here! A must see.
Easy access to the Old Faithful Geyser viewing area. Very accurate estimates for eruptions. Shops, gas, and lodging all near the visitor center. Very helpful rangers.
As all the sites, well planned for and never got old. Very clean and staffed with passionate workers.
Very informative. There are educational movies there to see.
Beautiful atmosphere
Great gift shop with lots of souvenirs to choose from
Good displays and helpful ranges. A wealth of information if you ask.
Amazing. Well worth the wait
Lots of interactive hands-on exhibits for kids and adults to help understand the beautiful geothermal area that is Old Faithful/Yellowstone National Park! Has a huge window wall where you can sit and watch Old Faithful go off. A theater showing documentary shorts and a nice souvenir shop with lots of goodies finish off this beautiful new fairly visitor center.
Very educational and learned alot. Beautiful place
Awesome stop in the park, can be quite busy at times, prepare for crowds.
Finally got to see what the hype is all about, WOW!
Quite Interesting, geologically, but absurdly over hyped!
Very big crowds and parking is in short supply but worth,it.
Always such a thrill seeing Old Faithful! Great museum, wonderfully friendly rangers.
The predictions from the rangers were spot in. Old faithful was cool but didn't preform the way I expected. The fountain at Bellagio is greater. Don't miss out on this once in a lifetime experience though.
Very informative place! Beautiful and incredible views. Good food!
Lots of things to choose from as souvenirs. They also have lots of huckleberry items such as jams, wine, and candies.
Totally awesome this inn is massive
This was a bucket list item! Best time of my life!!
If you are visiting Old Faithful in the summer, head out from the visitor center at least 30 minutes before the eruption to find a seat. If you arrive around lunchtime, this is a good time to eat while waiting. Then leave time afterwards to wander through the visitor center which has several interactive exhibits to help you understand why the geyser does what it does.
Must see. Have great ice cream.
Great place
Very nice.
It's always a beautiful place to visit and great for family outings
Really nice education center and store. A must see if visiting the park. Right next to old faithful that goes off around every 91 minutes and a great easy to navigate boardwalk to see a lot of interesting geothermal vents. Great place to visit. The cafe close by does mass feedings ( not recommended) or walk across the street and get served at a nice table in quet for less money.
The Inn is incredible.
Great place for education, information
Kids loved this place so beautiful
Wow, just wow! A must see national treasure. Loved the park and all the wildlife in addition.
We pulled in to the lot with a million cars ugh and then my son and I went straight to the seating way to early. Sun instantly was burning my skin. People started packing in. Sitting on the ledge where they shouldnt even be. Was already starting to hate it. After 45 minutes the geyser started teasing us. Splush splush. I'm thinking this dang thing better be good. I had a bad feeling and the amount of people was crazy. But when it went off i smiled like a kid again and loved it. Made it worth it all. General store was great. Workers were great. food was great. Id give it a 4.5 if i could. But it's a once in a lifetime 5
Be prepared to park and walk with thousands of people in season.
#great atmosphere. Rangers are well informed
Amazing building and everyone is so helpful!!!
Was very informative and engaging even for children. Not very big but just enough information provided about the natural phenomenon that is Yellowstone and it many hydrothermal attractions. Good location as well being amongst shops and restaurants. It allowed for a nice stop to stretch and relax between driving from different attractions.
So much history. Great docents & Ranger help.
Very fun and educational but way too crowded. Have a neat museum in it and gift area. Men's bathroom really needs more than 2 toilet stalls, especially when it is so crowded. Walk outside to see old faithful.
It was an awesome place to visit!
Something for everyone. Rangers are very helpful.
Yellowstone is a great national park and the visitors center is part of the show. Always enjoy SPRING TIME as the park is quiet and just waking up from the winter
Must see if you haven't been here.
Stunning. It was awesome to see Old Faithful!!
Kinda gross and dirty. Bathrooms were gross and packed. There was puddles and paper towels on the ground stall doors wouldn't lock etc. Very informational and the movie was beautifully made and the layout was good!
I always go to visitor centers when I visit national parks because that's where all the information is! I love watching the videos they show about the park as well as the informational boards. I really like the education area inside this visitor center because it has a lot of information without being an overload, and it does give a really good overview of the geological formations in the park. I would definitely recommend going, especially since everyone comes to see Old Faithful anyway!
Love going to old faithful and seeing all the sites. Visitor center is full of lots of great information and i learn something new each time. Great area for the kids to learn while playing. Gift shop has some great books and lots of other items as well.
Can't wait to see again summer trip next
They will tell you when the next Geyser will go off but you have walking wood trails to stay on. Very interesting. There is shifts of people but it doesn't seem crowded. People in and out all the time. Go at your leisure
I waited in line to ask a park ranger about any hiking trails in the area for 10 minutes and when I finally got to talking with her she told me to buy a $15 map from the gift store........ she was also a little condescending. Also I asked about two other Park rangers direction questions as both rangers seemed annoyed to help me. A little disappointed because I love the National parks and thought this park was supposed to be number one
Awesome but it’s something you have to see and experience yourself words and pictures do no justice for your personal experience
I loved it it was my second visit would go again
Yellowstone National Park's one the most beautiful places to visit I think I already said something about yellowstone but the visitor education center has a store where you can buy awesome merch and Yellowstone is the best place to find wolves coyotes bears O my and a lot of Bison. Now for this visitor center, I don't think I've been there before so I don't know why it popped up but if it's a part of Yellowstone then it gets all 5 stars . I came here for a graduation gift I spent think it was 10 nights here and it was Amazing no Downs to the place at all.
Very busy shop but still friendly staff. Prices are much to high
Interesting and factual information I had visited parts of Yellowstone National park, what I didn't know there was a visitor's center.
Pretty geysers to visit plus the grand Canyon of Yellowstone National Park
What an exciting place to visit. On top of the mountain, on top of the world, and all the marvellously interesting souvenirs and memories to take home.
Awesome , Carry food as there are only a couple of options and they get crowded fast.
Beautiful and amazing, every employee was very kind and knowledgeable about the park. The only problem we saw are the prices. The price just to get into the park is $35, hotels in the park start around $200 per night so it is priced out range for many. Also they do not allow pets even on leashes in most places in the park so it is not family friendly for families with pets.
Busy busy busy busy busy busy busy. Place is super super packed but it is Iconic. most definitely worth the hassle and putting up with the crowds to see.
Excellent exhibits providing education on the natural history of the area. Definitely worth a visit
One of our favorite national parks. Very RV friendly, and there is plenty of room for adventure. Lots of things to do from geysers and waterfalls to boating and camping. Love Yellowstone Park.
Very nice place
Very educational place. The Park Rangers are nice and friendly. A lot of facilities and attractions are near the education center. I can easily didn't whole day here. There is an auditorium in the center as well as a museum. I can see old faithful geyser erupting indoor.
Great info about the super-volcano and the flora and fauna of the area. Good inside view of Old Faithful. Terrific book selection in the gift shop. No food or drink inside the visitor's center.
What a stunning center! It's location in the Upper Geyser Basin of Yellowstone National Park is impressive itself. Its huge floor to ceiling window view of Old Faithful is like a picture frame of the iconic geyser. The center houses a spacious auditorium for viewing excellent A-V presentations and indoor ranger -led programs. The exhibition space is modern and multi media including a hands on youth center. Yellowstone Forever, the official non profit partner of YNP has a vast bookstore that will surely delight the visitor. Of course, restroom and leisurely spaces serve well. This beautiful facility was made possible by funding through the Yellowstone Foundation and Yellowstone Association, now merged into Yellowstone Forever.
A definite bucket list item! A real must see. The worlds most active volcanic area in action.
Arrived 20 min before Old Faithful erupted...got to walk around the exhibit and the store.
The ranger program and the young scientist programs were amazing.
Well kept facility with flush restrooms, water, gift shop and educational/discovery center. Becomes very crowded after 10 am.
Awesome place to see.
Great interactive displays where the kids can learn about the park, geology and volcanoes.
Great place to check on Geyser eruption times. They also have a gift shop and information on the park.
Super , great place to visit
Very nice to be one of very few. We were here in February. EMPTY...
Impressive and historic. Great woodwork. Nice roof. I enjoyed the bar hidden behind the left side of the large fireplace. A drinking bar, not an accidentally run your face into bar.
Every 91 minutes. Don’t forget to take your camera.
Boyling water jump to the air.
Loved the Old Faithfulgeyser doing her best. Bucket list place, loved the walk. I saw the eclipe in Scott'sbluff Nebraska then drove right up to Yellowstone. Trip of a lifetime.
It is always beautiful no matter how many times I have been there. The visitors center is very nice with lots of information and the people are very helpful. I think the one thing people need to know is everything closes at 5. Always lots of people waiting for Old faithful in the summer.
That gyser is amazing! Hot day, we sat under the trees on logs rather than be in the sun with the croud. I think we had a better view. The education center was great. Need to go back and see more.
This building is a stunning compliment to the Upper Geyser Basin and Old Faithful. It houses and excellent exhibit hall with a special interactive section for youth, ample auditorium, and the outstanding Yellowstone Forever Bookstore. Note that the Center was completed largely by corporate and individual donations through the Yellowstone Foundation.
Geysers and surrounding are pretty cool. Overall Yellowstone seems to have been very poorly managed over the last 10 to 15 years and the wildlife is scarce, but the geysers are still doing their jobs. Just dont plan on seeing abundant wildlife or catching a fish as was so plentiful in years past.
Place to get souvenir from visiting Yellowstone and the most famous geyser in the world old faithful.
Awesome little museum inside the visitor center. We enjoyed learning about some of the features of Yellowstone and reading about the temperature and acidity of various pools. The best part of the visitors center was a very knowledgeable guide/park ranger who shared his favorite spots with us and helped us map out our itinerary for the day.
Lots of amazing things and info about Yellowstone & the surrounding area.
My previous visits here were in the early 90s--things have changed! Saw Old Faithful for probably my third or fourth time (this time it was Aug 1st 2019)--very hot out, but the lodge has food and refreshments to stay cool until Old Faithful blows, which is about every 90 minutes, plus or minus 10 minutes. Check the clock on your way in to see when the next eruption will occur. Don't feel like you have to get a seat on a crowded summertime bench; just get out there and stand a few minutes waiting for the eruption. It lasts about a minute or more and very worth your time to see this world class phenomenon. I can't argue with Mother Nature, but it was sure nice back in the 90s when this geyser blew about every 23 minutes. There are many more outdoor benches and the lodge/support bldgs have increased in number and size since I was here last....no doubt to accommodate ever increasing crowds. Parking lot is now huge and expect delays getting out after Old Faithful finishes blowing.
A sight to see at least once in your life!
The science program for kids is fantastic!
Wonderful place to see natural beauty!
Beautiful place amazing sites to see
Didnt stay there but it was an awesome place
Was an incredible place and experience. Great history, great service, great new memory.
Full of surprises.. must go. Plan to go in the afternoon and spend rest of the day there.
Our 4 and 5 years old enjoyed the movie and center. I highly suggest the junior ranger program offered at the information desk. Our children really enjoyed working on the workbook they gave them; and doing so helped them understand more about geysers and the park. They took pride in the badges they earned when finishing the workbook and becoming junior rangers.
Very informative & educational referring to geothermal features & activity in and around The Yellowstone Caldera. 4 stars as the building itself does not fit the theme of the historic Old Faithful area of the park.
Visitor center was great and old faithful was ok
Absolutely amazing and breath taking place. Totally advanced! A bit of a walk tho.
It's a good place to start if you know very little about the park.
Rangers were awesome, and there is too much to do and see in one day
Been here twice and it never gets old!! Definitely should put this place on your bucket list!!
Awesome. I had totally different experience there
High quality, high tech educational center. I only wish there were more stamps for the passport books, but that's because I'm a crazy collector now.
Great place and just what I expected.
Amazing can't wait to return
Love watching the eruptions. There always seems to be unfinished construction on the board walks... In the last 2 years looked like the same spot was being worked on still. What's up with that?
I'd like to thank all the rangers there for thier awesome knowledge and for having wheel chairs for guest to use without that my mom and mother in law would not have seen all the beautiful things the park has to see. You completed one of thier bucket list items. We even had the chance to see grand geyser which definitely lived up to its name and I recommend everyone to see it. It is worth the wait. Thank you spook much.
Beautiful new visitor center.
Just a fantastic sight , we got there just before the show, usually every 50 to 60 minutes... the area gets crowded so give yourself time to enjoy it.
Nice souvinere shop, very nice cafeteria
I will be back here. Most of the time I find places like this highly commercial. There was some of that but there was a tremendous amount of educational resources in the building. The people we interacted with seemed genuinely in love with the place. That was easy to understand. Yellowstone is a magical place! We had the pleasure of walking up to see Old Faithful and it literally began erupting as soon as we were on the sidewalk. That probably won't happen again
U must see old faithful!!!!
Awesome but too many people
Full family fun
Fun and educational for the whole family
Beautiful but crowded this time of year.
Grat beauty by mother Nature
Needs a face lift
Gotta see old faithful while in Yellowstone, right?
Cool place to visit. The kids really enjoyed learning how ole' faithful came to be, the wild life in the area and how the lakes are ever changing.
SO MANY PEOPLE! I suppose the lack of parking is something that is hard to control but a little frustrating. Still, it’s a wonderful national park with plenty to see and do. Be sure to take the time to visit some other locations for more natural sites than just at the visitor center.
Watched old faithful spout off some steam from the porch. This was my first time in Yellowstone. A few too many people were stopping right on the road. Be careful driving.
Nice place to visit a long way to get there but if you like discovering and exploring different places and things with enough time to spend I think the trip is worth it. You do have to be careful with small kids especially because the area releases a lot of dangerous gases that can get them sick you have to be aware of that and volcanic areas you got to be careful not to let them run around because it can be dangerous for them besides that it's a good place to spend a day and enjoy the beautiful landscapes.
