Beautiful birding and nature experience. Came here for Wisconsin Wildlife Rehabilitators Association (WWRA) conference and had a great time. Spacious area and helpful staff. Great a/v equipment. Very clean. Will return in the summer for hikes and birding!

A very ecofriendly place to visit with your family and friends! Our geocaching association rents the lower level facilities for gatherings from time to time. Staff are friendly, beautiful facility, nice setting

Great way to spend a Saturday afternoon. There is a fun little museum to visit in the basement level. Fairly inexpensive. The walking outside is free. All sorts of wild life depending on the seasons. Birds and the Beaver's are my favorite.

I attended a gardening seminar at the Horizon Marsh Education center, in November. It was a perfect venue for such a conference. If you visit, be sure to check out the raised boardwalk paths the center has built throughout the adjacent marsh lands.

This is a very rare experience for many in the US, and not to be missed during the fall bird migration. Very friendly and knowledgeable people in the visitor center. Take your time, be quiet and bring a camera. Nice board walks and trails.

This place is amazing. If you like long walks in nature this is the place for you. The scenery is breathtaking and cannot be fully appreciated through pictures. With that said, go down there and check it out for yourself it's totally worth it.

The Explorium is very good. There are interactive opportunities to see, touch, hear and smell, as it takes you through hunting by prehistoric native peoples through European settlement and multiple attempts to exploit the marsh that created a wasteland, before it was reclaimed and restored for exploration, science, sport and recreation. And there is a lot for kids.

Try to make it here to hike & bird several times a year. Great visitors center with all kind of displays to keep both adults and children's interest. Several hands-on displays, lots of free info on wildlife & history of the marsh, as well as things to purchase. Not to mention the handy, clean restrooms for after a jaunt on the trails. Features short interpretive boardwalk thru marsh and longer but very easy trails thru impoundment and up to the "overlook hill". Great in every season.

We went to there Marsh nature walk today and it was awesome! Really great guide and we learned a lot and it was beautiful weather. Their membership is only $35 for a family. And there's so much you can do including some hunting.

Our family had a fun time exploring the little gift shop and the children's education area. When we dropped by, on a Friday afternoon, the entrance to the little "history of the marsh" museum was closed to the public. The museum is the only part of the place which requires paid entry, and a glance down the steps into the entry area of the museum leads me to believe a lot of work went into it. The lighting and design looked beautiful. Definitely planning to visit again!
