I gave this business 1 star but it should be no star. Warren the person who gave our group of 8 our river tubes gave us a vibe like he hated his job.
1.He delivered his river talk on the very hot closed up bus instead of outside where it would have been more pleasant.
2. He told us he had to give each person a life vest but he didn't care if we wore it because we all signed a waiver. His lack of advice to definitely recommend wearing a life vest on the river tube float led our group of adult outdoor enthusiasts/ swimmers to take his cue and not wear the life vest.
3. The river tube ride is not a float. The river is quick, very deep in many areas and has lots of large boulders that create deep bowls where a tube WILL turn a patron over and the tube gets stuck in the deep swirling pool the rocks create. WEAR YOUR LIFE VEST! The average tourist could drown without a vest if u get caught in the situation I just described.
4. Warren also explains how and when to get out at the end of the float. The exit comes up very quick and is difficult to get over to the beach exit. Warren told our group to get out in the left, which is where we headed, only to be yelled atas we made our way to the other side. We lost our youngest in the group ( 16 year old young lady) and the young man who went to get her on a SUP board, was rude and degrading to her.
5. The float is supposed to be 1.5 - 2 hours for $20.00 per person. It is about 45 min. If u do not stop and get out on one of the 2 beaches. Water is to fast to get out to the beaches.
6. Our experience would have been a 5
