Wow!!! Immaculate clean cabin!!! Just as described!!!!! Everything we needed for our getaway before baby #2 arrives. Beautiful sweeping views and great amenities. We can’t believe the value and the excellent experience. Owners easy to work with and understand customer service first! Will stay here again this summer for sure and it’s our home away from home now and looking forward to more memories. Great family place!

My family has stayed in their cabins each year as my kids are learning to ski at Whitepass. Cabins are clean, tastefully decorated and my family has always loved have a hot tub to relax sore muscles after a full day of skiing/snowboarding. Hosts have always been responsive and kind. I would recommend their cabins to anyone.

Great experience cabin Is clean and we'll kept and beautiful. a must rent if you're in the area close to mt ranier and rafting trips are only about 45 min away. Stores are within walking distance and people are friendly and helpful. I will definitely be back next year for another great time

Beautiful, modern well laid out cabins located close to White Pass Ski area! Our family looks forward to our annual ski vacation getaway at the Forrest Ridge Chalet (or Alpine Chalet). The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to whip up a family dinner and their decks make a great place to sit back and enjoy a great glass of wine while watching a herd of elk graze in the yard. The cabins are very clean and have every amenity that you would want or need ( great gas BBQ grills, hot tub, fully stocked kitchen, books, movies, the list goes on and on). The Trombi family makes the rental process a breeze, with their easy check in and check out procedures and well laid out website. We look forward to staying at their cabins every winter and would recommend them to any and everyone!

We just spent our second visit in the Forest Ridge Chalet with our grandchildren. It is well furnished, immaculate and just perfect for us. The owners have thought of everything! As we were driving home the kids said they want to come back again next year. It doesn't get any better than that!

A last minute weekend get away 5/2016. I would recommend these cabins to any one. A really fantastic experience and a beautiful "cabin". The cabin has everything you need or don't. No creature comfort has been overlooked. The owner was attentive, informative and very friendly. The caretaker (and her husband) was quick to call when we had a question. I'm looking forward to visiting again. It can be hard to find because the turn off road is not marked, but the owner is very clear and his directions get you right to the front door. Thanks to all involved for a lovely family weekend.

I will start the review by saying the 1 star is not a reflection of the property itself, but of dealing with the owner. The Mountain View cabin itself is clean and well maintained. What is not accurately portrayed in the description (on the Greatnorthwestcabins or VRBO website, as of this writing on 9-3-13) or in the photos is that the cabin sits on a clear cut lot. The neighbors are in clear view when looking out from the left side of the house, deck or yard and the front yard is all grass (no bushes) with green covers showing (septic tanks or wells maybe, I don't know. You can see one of them in the pic). You are requested to strip all beds and start a load of laundry. There is a hi-def TV but the cable signal is standard, so the picture isn't sharp. After leaving a review similar to this on VRBO site where I rented the cabin, I received an email from the owner who wanted me to explain my rating, as he thought a 3 star review (which is average) "is not justified" and "we are asking you to reconsider your rating and review." I stated that my review was a truthful and honest one (and agreed upon by all in our party) and I wouldn't be changing it. The owner replied, this time with a VERY UNPROFESSIONAL email taking it to a personal and sarcastic level by stating that in 10 years no one had ever "picked apart" the cabin like I had and that "99.9%" of his guests "love the view and setting" and "We are not happy about the review and hope you enjoy the other cabins you used to stay in in Packwood that are not clearcut." (Of course his public reply on the VRBO website was very polite.) All things considered the cabin is Ok, but is a bit of an understatement to say the owner doesn't seem to deal well with anything but glowing reviews.

I stayed here with a few friends on a recent ski trip to White Pass and really enjoyed the area, the cabin and its amenities. While the cabin had everything I needed, I really enjoyed having free Wi-Fi available and a hot tub, a must for any business traveler. In short, I would stay with them again if I had the choice.
