We did a 5 mile horse ride and the trail was gorgeous!! As someone who had never ridden a horse before and is in moderate shape, I was worried the ride may be physically challenging. It was actually very easy and fun (but I was still a bit stiff/sore at the end). The staff was very friendly and our guide was very nice to chat with during the ride

Loved the trail. Is worth the money for the ride time and view. Recommend the private guide for couples. The guides are friendly and helpful. They will help you if you have never rode a horse.

Went for a sleigh ride. It was cold, but they had thick wool blankets to put over your lap, and hot cider and cocoa for before and after the ride. They've got a big fire place to warm up at when you get back. Our sleigh driver was Luke, he was very nice and friendly, spoke about the history of the land and the ranch. It was well worth it =)

Went for an hour ride with my Husband and we had a blast! Mocha and Stevie were wonderful, smart, and gentle horses! Our guide, Christine, was knowledgeable and fun. Great place, great staff, and great horses! We highly recommend Eagle Creek Ranch!

Went there for a one hour early afternoon ride with my wife, son, daughter in law and their 3 children age 12 and twin boys age 9. All of us had little experience riding horses. Great ride up to a small meadow overlooking the valley. All 7 horses were very gentle and just followed along one behind the other. Highly recommend the experience even if you don't know how to ride. The kids had a blast and my granddaughters girl scout troop is going to plan an August ride based on the good time we had here. Beautiful ranch located in a magnificent canyon also. Friendly staff. Well worth your time.

Everything sounded really wonderful, but unfortunately we cancelled the riding trip, after we were told we probably weigh too much for their horses (190 pounds). I think it's a wonderful place and we would have loved to try it out. Susan was very friendly and called me back to ask for more reservation details, after my mail didn't reach them one month before. Glad we didn't come up to hear then that we couldn't take the ride. Susan took a lot of her time to explain the issue. It seems that people with riding skills and the right weight/size can have a nice trip there.

Took a family ride and the whole family loved it. Shady trail made it comfortable even though the temperature was in the 90's. Susan and our guide Teresa were very good with the kids young and old. Great value!

Great experience! Jarod took us on a very memorable sleigh ride filled with jokes, riddles and lots of smiles! It happened to be snowing heavily when we were there which made for perfect conditions. They even provided blankets to stay dry. Inside there was hot apple cider. The people, place and atmosphere makes it a must for a complete visit of Leavenworth!

Prices were fair for the experience. Our guide Michael was extremely friendly. Great views. Would definitely go again. 1 hour ride was good for us because we have only ridden horses a couple of times.

Warm reception at the office. Checked in and paid, then headed into the waiting area. They have hot cider and cold apple juice waiting for you, with picnic tables, and a large 55 gallon fire stove heating the place up. The sleigh ride was very memorable, the guide was polite and helpful, and the ride took around 30 minutes. Beautiful country and be sure to dress warmly, it's definitely a cold ride although they give one or two wool blankets. You'll be glad they provided them!

Staff was very nice. My family and I took a sleigh ride. Plenty of snow for a lovely ride and the driver was very knowledgeable of horses, the sleigh, and ranch history. There was plenty of hot cider before and to keep us warm and the waiting area with rustic picnic tables and such was quite warm too.

Although there is other competition when it comes to horseback riding in Leavenworth I can assure you that booking your ride with Eagle Creek Ranch will be a decision you will not regret. Amazing customer service from the first call to inquire to the time we said goodbye to our new friends. We were blessed enough to have a private ride with Pete and Mocha who were both very well behaved and gentle. You can tell that the horses are loved because they are happiest when they are taking care of a rider. We enjoyed talking with the guides about miscellaneous subjects and appreciated their recommendations. We also appreciated that they understood that there were also times where we just wanted to enjoy the ride and admire the beautiful scenery. We will definitely be back for the winter sleigh rides and our next horseback riding adventure will include the kids.

Visited twice here. Once for my daughter's birthday for a one and a half hour horse ride and just recently for a winter sleigh ride. Both experiences were terrific. Susan, one of the owners, provides exceptional customer service and hospitality. The horses are some of the happiest I've ever seen in a Ranch environment. The ranch itself and the surrounding property is lovely in both summer and winter feels magical. Go check this out!

Owners and guides dont posess people skills. Knowledgeable but not friendly. I was instructed to yank with all my might on the reigns since "stevie" wasnt wearing a mouth bit. I'm not sure why I was asked to do this since my horse was just walking in line with the others just like he was supposed to. I was asked to not do lean back on the horse, while pulling with all my might on the reigns, to get their strongest horses face out of the ground because he was snacking on grass. This was yelled to me from about 80-100 yds. Away. I was told TO do this during the pre ride tutorial because "stevie" has very strong neck muscles. I was told not to be so stiff riding down the trail as I'm swaying from side to side twisting and bending at the waist as the horse "model walked" down the trail. At the end of the ride, the guide got off her horse and started talking to the other young lady that worked there and ignored us and the other couple that was on the ride with us. Needless to say, nobody tipped the guide. We could hear the other couple grumbling about the ride during and after the ride was over. If you enjoy silent rides with the occasional scolding from the guide and owner, then I would reccomend paying for this excursion. If not, find another place and give them your money.

Wonderful trails through the forest and meadows of snow in a 2-horse drawn sleigh. Only down side is that it is a big sleigh with two long benches, not the usual idea of a sleigh, so you share the ride with others. The other choice is a 2-person sleigh.
