My husband and I used ABHT to book our honeymoon. We reached out and set up an appointment with Monica where she just listened to what we wanted, asked a few key questions, and took notes. Getting the quotes cost $99, but the next day she gave us 4 different possible trips, each at a different point within our budget. I personally really appreciated that she didn't only tell us about our options that would max out our budget or tempt us with offers we couldn't afford. We asked a few clarifying questions and chose a package. Monica booked it and she was even able to price match another website and get $200 off our price! After that, she told us about our options for travel insurance and helped us purchase that. She was definitely looking out for our best interest the whole time. Through the whole process, she was very professional, prompt, and reliable. It was so convenient to have signed a form to give her authorization to make payments with our card as well so that she could take care of that and just send us the receipts. That way, we didn't lose track or forget any payments. The whole planning process felt so much better than planning on my own because there was a professional in our corner advocating for us. The quality of the accommodations, the ease of decision making, and the peace of mind knowing we were taken care of by a person and not a company will be why we go back to ABHT to plan our next trip and possibly every vacation thereafter.

We cannot say enough good things about Shawn and Anywhere But Here Travel. She recently planned our honeymoon to Peru and it was everything we had dreamed of and more. She made sure that our hotels were beautiful and located in the best places to eat and visit historic sites. Our tour guides were always on time, spoke excellent English, and were very friendly. Machu Picchu was the highlight of the trip and our tickets were already purchased beforehand which saved us at least 3 hours of waiting in line. We will definitely be asking Shawn to help us with all our future adventures!

Whenever I'm at a loss, I turn to the interwebs for help. With great reviews, I thought for sure ABHT could help, but am left feeling sad and kind of insulted after my experience. I tend to plan our trips myself because I enjoy it, but when we received vouchers from American Airlines that said you have 2 options: 1 - call the airline to book, or 2 - use a travel agent, after waiting on hold for 30+ minutes a few times I contacted ABHT hoping they could help. I sent an email over the weekend explaining the situation and budget and listed off a few places on our bucket list, saying that we'd be open to other suggestions within our budget given their experience with travel planning. Enter Angela... I received an email on Monday (hey, at least they're prompt), followed by a phone call on Tuesday, where she told me that I'd have to pay them out of pocket (duh - did you really think I thought you chose a career you wouldn't get paid for??), but of course no explanation as to the cost, then she told me the places I listed were all outside my budget (fair enough, thanks so much for your suggestions!) and that I should just call the airline myself and that "sometimes you have to be patient." I would have loved to use ABHT (and paid them for their services, gasp!), but wasn't given the opportunity. It felt a lot like them saying, you're too poor/cheap so we don't want your business (ouch!) or to even pretend like you're worth our time. I wish they would have taken more time helping figure out what we can do instead of the incredibly awkward and disheartening interaction I had. All in all, they're prompt, but if you're not spending oodles and oodles of money and/or planning a trip with 50 of your closest friends, you're not worth their time.

I recently planned a short trip for my wife and myself to Victoria BC. I have never been and it was a surprise for my wife's birthday so I wanted it to be special. I have never used a travel agency before and was unsure what to expect. I wanted to be able to say "Here is where we want to travel, here are the dates, what can you make happen for us?" .. I was not disappointed, It was literally that simple. Virginia, my agent, asked a few personal questions to get an idea towards our personalities and what we enjoy and that was it. She checked in with me multiple times to make sure time lines & activities would suite our traveling behavior and sent me the appropriate booking info. I can't begin to tell you how much this helped take the pressure off. My wife and I had a great time with a well planned vacation. I can't wait for our next trip, if Anywhere But Here Travel could make a 2 day trip to Victoria as special as it was, imagine what they could do with a larger trip! Thanks again, Virginia, you're awesome!

We worked with Monica to plan my CEO's trip to Europe with her daughter. Monica went above and beyond when just 8 days prior to departure my CEO's father passed. She diligently worked to help us get the CEO's mother added to the trip literally 30 hours prior to departure! Monica was absolutely awesome to work with and she took such care of everyone!

My boyfriend and I planned a trip to Europe through ABHT. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We gave them a list of places we wanted to visit and what kind of things we wanted to do. We planned to go to multiple spots in Europe within 2 weeks (Paris, Nice, Monaco, Zermatt and Geneva) and the whole process was so seamless - from the travel (via flight, train, car) to the hotel stays and the tours. I will definitely go thru ABHT the next time I plan another trip!

Monica has planned 1 trip for me to Hawaii, a spring trip for myself and my boys, and the activities for a trip to Maui for myself and my youngest son. I can say without reservation, she takes care of her clients. When things went awry on our Spring Trip, she worked with myself and my husband to make things the best they could be. She finds fun activities for adults and kids, and places to go not necessarily on the beaten path, which my family loves. Monica listens to her clients, and creates trips that will leave a lifetime of memories and conversations.

Andrea helped us plan a cruise to Alaska for our 40th Anniversary. We had so much fun! We saw two glaciers, visited Ketchikan, Juneau and Skagway, enjoyed amazing on-board entertainment, attended a painting class and visited the Butchart Gardens in Victoria, BC. The on-board music included the best Beatles cover band we’ve ever seen. We had an unforgettable experience from beginning to end. Thank you Andrea!
