Very clean and good rest stop.
very clean .. need more picnic tables in the shade.
Clean rest stop, plenty of walking room for a stretch. Was even greated coming in by staff. Looks like they had a lot of travel information too for travelers if you needed it. Always like stopping here for a stretch! Staff was busy cleaning up and not standing around.
Very clean, well lit & it looks pretty too... To travelers, even though it looks closed at night, try the side entrance to the right of the front door, it'll be open, & you'll find a set of vrnding machines there too. Loved this stop. Thank you to all who work so hard to keep it so clean, well lit & pretty too. It's uncommon to find a nicely painted bathroom in any stop, so a big THANKS TO THE STATE & ALL WORKERS AT THIS VISITING CENTER!
Very attractive building. However, some walkway signage would help visitors know which door to enter for travel info. And restrooms.
Clean bathrooms and modern facility. The vending machines have phone payments as well
Great place under construction for renovations...but quiet light up and police always near by ...
Very clean; vending machines;well lit. Frt was closed had to walk all the way around the bldg...not safe to do at night, as I did not see any security.
A lovely place to to stop on my way to Florida.
The best place I've seen since my drive through Georgia. They have a information desk. And in it you can find a guild to how to get your hunting permits in south Carolina and what's in season. I think this is due to the fact that they know you more then likely came from Florida and drove through the whole state, which is all under construct, for no reason. Not one person or machine seen, all at 35miles per hour due to the construction. So the state normally takes an hour to drive through and it took use and millions of others almost 3 hours. By then you want to destroy something. Hence why you can find this seasonal hunter's guild at the info desk.
After holding your pee all the way thru Georgia, this place is a god-send. It's just north of the Georgia line. New, clean, roomy. Surprising how well they handle so many desperate travelers. Can't say enough good things about this stop. If only South Carolina would 6-lane I95, it'd be perfect.
It's a beautiful place and very very clean mr clean would be jealous hahaha
Looked nice but they shut down the lobby at 5 pm.
Looks new. Restrooms nice and clean.
Did a quick stop here to take some pictures, bathroom break & loaded up on some snacks. The bathrooms are clean and so is the parking lot. Keep it up!
Very nice and clean nice people to guide and help you , but we wanted suvineirs and they did not have them. We would like souvenirs
A very welcoming place with the open well-lit interior. Restrooms smelled fresh and appeared clean. A staff member was willing to momentarily close the vending machine she was stocking so I could purchase a bottle of tea. A small act of kindness like that makes a huge difference in one’s experience. I recommend stopping here if a break from driving is required.
Nice place stop a freshen up. And it seemed clean
Great welcome center. Plenty of room to stretch your legs.
So far this is the best Rest area clean and nice bathroom
Excellent welcome stop that really sets the bar for welcome stops entering a state. LOTS of information divided by the area your going to. Huge Google map interactive display to look at your route. Well done SC!!
Amazingly clean restrooms. Great literature on the walls about local attractions.
Cleanest rest area I've ever visited. Brochures and pamphlets galore.
The roads on I-95 they are in need of some serious repairs. Pretty state but not so pretty to drive through.
Nice welcome center with lots of room for the kids and dogs to get some stretching space. Safe friendly and clean.
Very nice place. Had lots of pamplets for things to do. Very clean. Easy to enter and exit.
Everything was nice, looked good, bathrooms were nice other than smelling like wet dog.
Been here twice in the evening. Looks like a nice place by day, with a wide attractive space with lots of information about South Carolina. At night the doors are closed and you have to walk around back, to some pretty standard bathrooms and a few vending machines. Not as inviting. There is some grassy space out front with a couple of pavilions if you want to stretch your legs. Both times I went it was pretty busy
Nice and repect ful people
Place nice and clean. Nice job.
Clean astetics with the usual panflits showcasing the tourest destinations.
Clean bathrooms located here. Great place to let your dog stretch their legs.
Hey, it's a welcome center. You stop in to use the restrooms, take a little break, or get some information about the state you're now in. They do a fine job of providing that for you. The seniors who staff the information counter are friendly and very helpful. Hats off to them for their time and effort...
Very nice and clean perfect place to take a mini break when driving a distance.
Clean restrooms and all facilities worked properly.
Nice clean rest stop but I did have to ask an attendant to unlock the family bathroom. A little odd but maybe they just reserve them for families but there is no sign about it.
Nice rest area. Could use a bit more cleaning but it wasn't awful.
You have to walk all the way around the building after 5p if you want to use the bathroom. I would be nice to have a sign about this visible on the far side of the building that you can see from a vehicle for those that are mobility impaired.
Nice rest area and welcome center, now if someone could get SC roads repaired everything would be fine. SC interstate roads are horrible
The cleanest welcome center i've ever been to. Living in south carolina I am proud of that
Nice rest stop. Alot parking space, restrooms spacious and clean. And free WiFi
Always very clean and helpful attendants, but would love it better if you had a vendor who offered drink and food vs a vending machine
Nice and clean... Picnic tables around area, also benches and lots of places to walk dogs. Huge welcome area closed at night but there's access to restrooms and vending machine.. Good Stop
A nice clean place for a pit stop. Has lots of info on state and you can get maps and directions.
Very clean, and employees there for assistance. Wonderful place to stop for a break.
Now I see where all my tax dollars are going! This is a huge beautiful brand new Welcome Center it looks like a million dollars but I'm sure it cost us a whole lot more. Not sure it's necessary but again a great place to stop. It was extremely busy and there were lines for the bathroom but it has free wi-fi which my daughter loves and plenty of tourist information which I'm sure keeps the local economy humming.
Super-clean! Nice atmosphere; helpful staff. Will stop again.
Nice big welcoming foyer with tall ceilings and multiple entrances. Clean washrooms. Bright and open with friendly staff and plenty of parking. Architecture is well designed with massive laminated support beams holding up joists of the roof deck which is exposed wood. Lots of glass give it an airy feel. Pepsi products vending machines. Has the usual pamphlets for maps and attractions. Friendly and welcoming staff. Great for pit stop and intro into South Carolina.
Clean, well stocked, easy in and out. Friendly staff.
Excellent customer service. Very clean bathroomd and grounds! I loved it...
Very helpful with what they did know and when they didn't know something they referred you elsewhere.
Very clean. Well stocked with information about the different areas of South Carolina. Some drink and snack machines, but all of them contained only unhealthy options.
Stop here every trip to GA. The best welcoming center
One of the most peaceful stops ever large wooded picnic area, minimal traffic over the hour break I took to relax!
This rest stop is the one of the "best" Tourist Center's. It has brochures it seems from every place in South Carolina. It is pristine. The employees are very friendly and helpful.
Nice rest stop....welcome center
Very friendly, helpful staff. Clean restroom.
Very neat. Lots of information (maps, books) in the visitor center. Vending machines on site.
Nice surroundings, even nicer staff and clean bathrooms.
Nice clean facility. In a very safe location. Pleasant environment for rest area.
Clean restrooms, clean area, well lite area! We were able to stretch and rest for a few minutes.
WE WERE WOWED! By FAR the best welcome center we've ever been to and the staff on duty were two extremely pleasant ladies who were helpful and friendly. Very clean, up to date facility too!
Beautiful state reststop. Very large and clean restrooms. Super friendly and helpful as well as knowledgeable staff.
Huge rest area with restrooms and vending machines available 24h. The parking is huge and welcomes long trailers and really big RVs. The facilities are clean and modern. Security all day makes it a great stop for a quick rest during a night drive. Also features a pet area and outdoor picnic shelters with tables.
One of the best state information centers I have seen anywhere!
Great dumpin and urine pots.
The welcome center was closed. Had to use the side door. Did you know SC has higher car registration taxes than GA or FL combined? Did you know the home property tax is higher than GA or FL combined? Did you know SC does not make the top 10 states to retire in but GA and FL do.
We travel quite a bit & this is the nicest welcome center I've seen. Clean, warm, staffed, decorated for Christmas. Vending machines inside, all stocked & working. Tons of organized info. Clean, well functioning & stocked restrooms. Nice landscaping. Great place!
Very nice place to stop, rest and get information .
Was very clean. This is important.
Clean restrooms, clean area, well lite area! We were able to stretch and rest for a few minutes. I would recommend this Welcome Center.
This welcome center was clean, well laid out and attentive helpful staff.
Great place to get tourist info on opportunities in South Carolina.
Staffed for customer service for tourists information and help. Clean restrooms. Presents a positive feeling for the state.
Very well maintained. For a SC rest area. One of the nicest in the state
There's nothing that lets you know that you have to walk ALL THE WAY AROUND TO THE BACK OF THE BUILDING IN THE DARK, BY YOURSELF! NOT COOL!
A very nice 9/11 memorial by the building
Good rest stop. Clean restrooms. Great place to stop and take a nap.
Nice lounge, area to get stretching and to wake up. Enjoyed the stop and even the frame to take a tourist photo
Very helpful, went out of her way to help out. Much appreciated, thank you hope to be back to visit.
Rest rooms were the cleanest I've ever seen.
Beautifully redone South Carolina welcome center northbound I-95. We've made a lot of trips through here and even stopped while they were redoing the center. It turned out beautiful. I love the large wooden benches they have outside and the modern yet slight rustic aesthetic to this welcome center. The attendants there during business hours and friendly and very helpful. We enjoy the large, well lit parking spaces. Also there are a select few spots in the back parking where there are no lamps overhead, which helps tremendously with those necessary mid trip naps to keep the family safe. If you arrive after hours I would go around to the farthest read side of the main building as the main lobby will be closed and you can not walk through. You will have to walk around the whole building to the rest room and vending entrance if you park close to the entrance of the rest area. I don't know if anyone still plays pokémon go, but this rest area has to spinning spots and a gym. Super interesting to see the people coming through there. All around a great facility and worth a quick stop if you are traveling through during business hours and need info.
Real nice rest stop! Very clean! The staff is always very friendly and helpful! First rest stop "south of the border".
Very nice, as always. Bright, inviting, very helpful staff. Plenty of well organized travel literature, clean bathrooms. A nice break from the road.
Very nice rest area. Plenty of restroom area and pretty clean. Good choices for drink/snack replenishments. Large welcome area with plenty of info/brochures for current and future trip planning. Staff was very nice and accommodating.
I'd go 5 but the 5pm closing of main entrance near handicapped parking necessitated a long walk. No apparent reason for this burden. Ample parking easy on off.pretty place with good dog walking spot.
Great people. I lost money in the vending machines twice. Wouldnt you know, a few weeks after I got home, they sent it back to me. It was also a very clean rest area.
Clean restrooms and very nice staff.
Terrible stop. Looks great from the road, but terribly inconvenient. Front doors were locked just before 5pm forcing everyone to walk around to the back of the building. Parking is dat away from the doors & most of the vending machines were out of order. I will avoid this place in the future. Poor representation of South Carolina I'm afraid :(
It's a nice place to stop and get information on the state. Of course it is similar to many State Welcome Centers but that doest change the fact that they are always welcome sites when traveling.
Very well kitted information center. Almost looks like a student center at a large university. Lots of parking, lots of space, clean restrooms. That makes for a great entry into South Carolina.
Great place to rest from traveling. New facility.
Been to a lot of Rest Stop Welcome Centers... This one is as clean as they come. BEAUTIFUL scenery and small history lessons all over. We stopped to stretch our legs and stayed over an hour.
They did a awesome job washing my truck
A great place. So much to see when you stop by. Everything was clean inside and outside. Restroom were clean and fresh. Excellent.
What a nice place to sleep at, clean bathrooms and was a good place for a short walk
Clean, comfortable and informed staff. Large lobby with plenty of seating and reading materials regarding South Carolina. Indoor vending area near bathrooms. Lobby open 9am to 5 pm HOWEVER...BATHROOM ACCESS IS 24 HOURS A DAY....
Super clean! Vending had a wide enough variety of drinks. And bathrooms were spacious.
Well lit. Clean bathroom facilities. Snack machines. Plenty of parking. There is also a visitors center open during daytime hours.
This new welcome center is bright, clean, modern and truly welcoming...nice job SC!!
Very clean. Nice friendly staff. Well stocked vending machines. Picnic areas under big shade trees are nice for a little break from the road.
Super clean and nice place to stretch your legs, visit the washroom or curb your dog while on the highway. Very polite and helpful staff and brochures available for interesting things to do while traveling.
This is a nice welcome center. It's very clean in the bathroom and in the lobby.
Lots of great information. The employees were very helpful and nice. Definitely the place to stop to find anything South Carolina!
Very clean and nice to stop by while your traveling
Free Wi-Fi and lots of good parking
I heard Rush Limbaugh talkin about how the taxpayers are giving 1.8 trillion dollars in corporate socialism, but the interstate system in South Carolina has only two lanes each way and is terribly overcrowded. Sean Hannity said it was socialism for the rich. Could that be true?
clean and staff is nice. but all n all just a place to take a leak.
Clean restrooms, variety in snack area, helpful attendants in and around welcome station. Good ac, shaded seating areas. Ample parking. Easy on and off highway. Win-win!
So modern and clean. Great people and very helpful. Appreciate all questions answered. Will visit again.
Clean and better than stopping at a gas station.
I am very quick to pull off the road when I feel sleepy and have stopped here many times for rest. keep in mind that in many areas in the south driving when you are very tired is considered or equal to DUI or driving while impaired, so stop and rest if you are fatigued, you will be a lot safer after a good rest and avoid being arrested for impaired driving.
Nice drive-through the roads need to be worked on.
It was new and fresh only problem the bathrooms are far from the front door this is put the close to front
Very nice motel. Was so happy to find it after a long day of driving. The included full buffet breakfast was such a nice treat
Very nice, one of the nicest I have ever been. They have note pads, pens, pencils, recharge stations, courtesy helpers, snack machines, clean restrooms, I think even courtesy phones for emergencies. Very room inside.
Very clean. Not one of their employees spoke to us nor anyone around us. I am used to much friendlier employees at Welcome Centers.
It was very nice the employees
Very nice and clean area. Good picnic area, trucks area approximately fits 50 trucks at least.
Looks like a nice facility, but it's only open 9-5. Restrooms are open all the time, just have to use rear entrance. Could use more covered family eating areas.
Nice rest area. Was very busy when we were there on a saturday in July on the way to hilton head
One of the nicest rest stops I have been to. Lots of shade, scattered picnic tables. Wide sidewalks for a good stretch. Looks like new facility.
Nice compared to other states but not necessarily the nicest.
Love this welcome centre. Clean and neat and so helpful assistants.
Super clean, and a safe place to stop if you are worried about that kind of thing. We passed this place all the time, as we made our way to and from Georgia a couple times a month. but this was the first time we've stopped. Now I regret not stopping before. it was one of the nicer welcome centers we've been to. Make sure you say hello to the attendant, they like it when you say "hi".
Bathrooms are unusually located but clean and easy to get to. Had up to date dyson hand dryers. Fancy and convenient.
Cleanest, nicest rest stop I have EVER been to and I travel a decent amount!
This center and the restroom was very clean. They have several helpful information if you are interested in the surrounding area in South Carolina
Wow Nice rest stop! Unbelievable service and amenities
One of the most nicest rest areas I have ever been in. Helpful staff. Clean restrooms. Variety of snacks available in several vending machines.
The bathrooms were very clean and the staff was extremely helpful. There was a restaurant being advertised on the monitors (S.N.O.B.), which looked like they had amazing food, but it was a little too far off of our path for us to go
Clean, safe road stop. Picnic areas and dog walk area available. Friendly greeters at information desk and lots of brochures and coupons available to help you plan your SC trip. Plenty of parking. Vending machine available. Easy on and off of I-95. Just over the border from GA, great stop to get out of traffic for a bit.
Probably the nicest welcome Center on I-95!
This is a real 5 stars welcome center. Beautiful design, clean... very clean. Even when close the bathrooms still open e clean. Thanks South Carolina.
Nice and clean. Main building opens at 9 but restrooms open 24/7
The restrooms were clean & plentiful. They have a great source of information on places to travel, hotels, dining, people to answer your questions.
this is a great welcome center if you're traveling by it's a must-stop. They have lots of need history you can look at the bathrooms or super clean there seem to be plenty of staff around and it's just generally a nice experience.
Great place to stop. Welcome to SC in style convenience and location. We enjoyed several tabletop presentations teaching about state parks and community activities.
Was nice, clean and friendly reception. Nice place to stop off just to chill for a bit before heading back on the road
Clean! Friendly staff. Restrooms all automatic. Love that. Dyson hand dryer.
This was a very clean, well staffed rest stop with maps and tourist information.
Nice rest stop with lots of bathrooms, vending machines, and even a large grasy field to walk in.
Nice and clean, and got free Wi-Fi
Welcome center very clean. People were very nice and helpful.
The first rest area in SC northbound... Nice, clean, affordable
Very clean and busy! Thes ladies there were very helpful. If you had a question they would most definitely try to help you it figure out. Plenty of vending machines. Also plenty of parking. There are picnic tables and a pet walking area. They have peopme servicing the bathrooms to keep them clean. Tons of information about South Carolina and what to do. Very helpful welcoming center. Thank you!
Clean , helpful staff , great place to take a break
One of the best welcome centers I’ve been to. Big, clean, informative with friendly staff.
Fully staffed with knowledgeable, friendly people. Lots of pertinent material. Also very clean.
Our State of South Carolina rest area must be one of the nicest in any state!! The grounds are well kept, bathrooms are very clean and plenty of room to get out and stretch those legs. I'm proud to be a South Carolinian my entire life! cew3rd Folly Beach, SC ps..You should have seen the guest taking pictures n selfies at the main sign on the property by the benches and tables. Nice job to All on the Team that keeps our rest area Top of the Line!! ✌
The cleanest, most modern rest stop I've seen in over 40 states visted!
SOOO much better than what passed for a welcome center years ago. Very friendly, helpful, and informative people here.
Very nice rest area! Very clean and smelled great. Picnic tables and sheds built over them makes a great place to chill in the shade or have a little snack before hitting the road.
Not very clean. At least it wasn't when we stopped to use the restrooms. Stay on sidewalks and beware of grass, no one seems to pick up their dogs poo either.
Nice welcome center and rest area.
We travel throughout the world and have never felt more unwelcome. It seemed as if we were bothering the gentleman. We asked for two maps since we have an RV and hold our family vacation (20+) at myrtle beach for the last 25yrs.We did get one 2016 (3yr old) map. Please move Myrtle Beach to friendly North Carolina.
Very clean, staff really friendly and helpful.
Very nice with lots of maps to help find things to do.
