What a wonderful trip we just experienced with Christian Tours. This was our first bus tour and we were a little hesitant because we didn't know if we would enjoy travelling this way. Well we loved it and enjoyed every minute. Greg was our driver and he was professional, friendly and an excellent driver. Sue was our tour guide and she was great as well. The bus was very comfortable and the motels were perfect. We will definitely book with you again. Thank you for a wonderful trip.

Called Christian Tours this morning to see about taking my kids there to fish at the Ponds, I've been in this area for years and years and see people fish there all the time. I've stopped by about two years ago and ask a Older Gentleman who lives in the house in the center for permission cause I seen two younger guys fishing down at the further pond and he Said NO and was very rude and I ask him how come there's two guys fishing down there and he said I can't fish there. Well I mind my business and left and last week I stop by and ask the folks that were fishing there at the pond and they say I just got to ask the front office staff for permission. Said as far as they know this place is open handed and it should be fine. Well being the nice guy I follow procedure and called and spoke with a Lady at the front office and she said yes you just need permission but Melanie is the one to talk to. Well Melanie got on the phone and basically rejected me. Said if I don't work there or don't have a family member who works there I cannot fish. As far as I know and being a Christian myself I was taught that any Christian places is open to anyone and always willing to help anyone in anyways as long as there is no violence. But the respond I got from the older gentleman two years ago and the respond from Melanie this morning just turn me off on this place. I'll be sure to pass the message forward to the community how the name is just a sales ad to draw customers in.

Husband and I took the Yellowstone, north central US tour. 15 days, over 5,000 miles! It was great. Robert, the driver, could put that bus anywhere and very alert in traffic and always had a smile. Burlene, the tour director, kept us entertained with interesting information on the areas as we drove from stop to stop. Very well organized tour. I think they had done this before! This was our 3rd trip with them and plan to use them again.

When I was driving north on Interstate 95 north of Richmond, Va 2 weekends ago, 2 of this company's buses passed me and then cut so quickly back to the right that they would have hit my car if I had not braked to avoid them. They were driving quite fast. Think carefully about your safety if you decide to use this service.

This is the best tour best company you could ever ask for. They are considerate and keep their buses clean. There's nice seats and a lot of room. They have a light in their bathrooms and very nice constomer service. Very polite and helpful employee. They are Christian and willing to help anyone in need. They will let you use their bathroom if you are experience a emergency where you need to go. Definitely stick with them you won't regret it!!:)

I want to say what a fabulous job your tour guide Joanne did this past 5 days to Niagara Falls USA & Erie Canal. She was very attentive to each of us. Her interactions made our trip so relaxing and fun . I would love for her to be our guide again when I choose to go. She is such a beautiful person with a personality to match . Greg was our driver and he was easy going ,always jovial, making us laugh ,never unsure of himself, very observant ,cautious driver and pleasant to look at. I must say this was a pleasant ,relaxing ,most enjoyable and most of all my dream come true . A trip to Niagara Falls and of course Lucy was my choice for the U S A side . I highly recommend this trip .Only one complaint [which is only minor] I like to sit up front because my husband or myself usually get nauseated in the back . I had to sit six rows back which made me nauseated .I went up front which was an empty sit for a few minutes. I didn't ever figure out why that seat was empty and we had to sit in the back. Is it really a rule ?????

One of your drivers is very irresponsible and displayed reckless driving. He cut me off and almost hit a man on a motorcycle that was coming across the tracks in Stanley about 20 minutes ago. Total disregard for other peoples safety!! He is an older man with white hair!

CHRISTIAN TOURS control's courthouse hearings. My name is Amy Keirn. 8 yrs ago I went into christian tours & paid deposit & rent for a mobile home., off hwy 16 in maiden. As a former employee of hud, & the housing authority. & retired. I knew to take pictures. ( all photo's ) added on Google to show i speak the truth. After move in,. our asthma & allergies became so bad kids went on the pump and i went to the hospital. Contacting christian tours about needed repairs ( pictures provided ) i was told we had to "wait" for all the rentals to be rented before they would start repairs. 4 months later, they came to start repairs. In the meantime i cleaned the a/c unit. It Was in terrible condition. & other repairs & Because i am disabled it took longer & was hard. I took pictures & reciepts to udean Burke.. He never repaid me, nor gave me any discout on rent. Mellonees office was next to his. I. Had to argue for them to cut grass after 6 weeks. They drove their vehicles on my property. i was reminded. It was burkes property. They went in my home when i was not there. I had to add security locks. & i started adding camera's here when i could. My social security was the only income we had for the first 8 months. I could not afford to move. We didnt have moving money. When i questioned their faith. i was punished. And to make thing's worse, i didnt go the their church. They were terrible. They stole the electric from the shed in the back. And wired it to their cow fence. they kept their things in the shed on my rented property. But the power to the shed was my power. And burke would even tell workers to use my power. I confronted udean Burke, about it. ( His exact words to me, in a low tone voice was : ( your not going to be a problem are you amy ). They broke 2 windshields on both vehicals. Pinky ( family ) shot rocks at my chevy truck. They poisoned my pear trees as punishment. When i asked them to pay for the truck topper the lawn guys broke. They busted my grill. And a lawn chair. Then they put a electric fence for their cows. 30 ft from the back door. No warning signs. My 5yr old granddaughter touched it . it shocked her so bad it hurt her stomach. We had to call the ambulance. We were told the electric to the fence had no equipment to monitor electricity. I kept begging them to treat us the way christians were suppose to." I didnt go to their church." They sprayed my gardens & nothing grew. they always got their rent. I did need help many times on rent or electric and went to get help. ( but christian tours always got their Money. ) christian tours never paid "anyting they owed me" But always wanted their rent. They caused my finacial ruin. I went to mellonie & lyn i told them i would be going behind in rent. 3 months. ( being with them 7-yrs ) Because of medical issues. And when my daughters s.s. came in we would pay them. ( they agreed) They said i owed them $2100. before they evicted me, "" But they owed me $7,000."" "Mellonie burke owensby" ( burkes daughter. told me herself. Amy forget about the past and all that happend. "Just pay me the money you "owe me". . i offered to forgive THEIR entire dept if they would forgive mine. . then i said i will pay you a litttle every month untill i catch up. So in February i gave mellonee and lyn. 2-checks 1- full rent 2nd one a payment on back rent... 6 days after they cashed my checks. They filed eviction. & even though my rent was "fully paid" for the month of MAY. after i filed in court. I was force to move in "10 days" I am disabled with cancer and animals and grandchildren.... "10 days" . We couldnt take things because no storage money. Christian tours used and attorney that was friends with the judge they supported. In the election. & moved my court out of district. & even changed court date. Judge looked at desk & wouldn't look up as i tried to show evidence. Attorney ( westly Deaton ) drove with lyn to hickory court. Crooked company & JUDGE violated my right to fair trail. They owe me $16,000. STAND WITH US. Make them pay!!

I was asked by a client to do an on location session at Christian Tours. I had never been or heard of the place. I told the client we could go check it out. Once arriving, we were approached by a woman. Asking if I had booked to do a session today. I explained I hadn't and was asked by the client to come. She stated that there was a fee (which was fine) and that normally they only allow one photographer shooting at a time on the property. I asked if we stayed out of the other photographers way if there was anyway we could pay the fee and go ahead and do a session there. I'm very thankful that they worked with us, allowed us to go ahead and do our session. The place is beautiful and I will be calling to book other sessions there for our clients! Thanks Christian Tours for working with us!!!!!!

This company doesn't deserve a start but I have to give them at least one in order to share my experience that is happening right now... We were having an awesome trip until this happened.... On yesterday 5/3/16 it was realized that another School bus from the same town as us, had a small gas leak!!! (Mind you this gas leak was not on our bus, not even with our group of buses) BUT the charter bus company decides to change our bus with the bus that has the gas leak. Well it seems the bus company Christian Tours decided that they would take our perfectly good working bus and give it to the other school and they left us with the bus that had a gas leak. In the middle of the night without speaking with any one that is in charge of this trip... Not the travel agent, not the assistant principal, not the teachers, not the parents... Not even the students. They switch our personal belongings on to this bus with the gas leak. It seems the other school is spending a little more money with this bus company, so they were a priority. Excuse my language but WHAT THE HELL... Are you kidding me!!! Please stay away from ChristianTours owned by Nancy and Whatever the man name is... Last name Christian!!! They are willing to put ours lives on the line for a $!!! And I'm told they have offered to buy us dinner!!!! Are you for real!!! Once the school staff found out what was happening they refused to allow anyone on the bus with the leak! We now have a different bus and are headed home. After being stranded with a bus load of 4th graders. The sad thing is, all of this could have been avoided... Because the guy that delivered the final bus said he was headed to us in the middle of the night and would have been there at 7am but the brains of the bus company @Christian Tours turned him around!!!

I wanted you to know what a wonderful experience we had on our tour of New York, August 19 - 22. Our guide was excellent, keeping everyone happy and making sure all our needs were met. Her name is Pamela Peterson. Along with our driver, Danny Shellhass who was the most patient driver I have ever seen. He kept us safe and comfortable the entire trip. We were able to see so much of the city during our short visit. It was just amazing. Our walk on guide in New York City, they called him George since we could not pronounce his name, was also excellent. He guided us around the city pointing out all the highlights as we passed by. He also walked us through the important parts of the city and giving us the history of each aspect of what we were looking at. He gave us the who, what, where, when and why of almost everything we saw. A trip my wife and I will never forget. Thanks for the memories. I just wanted to say these people that run this property are the most rude folks I've ever met. I'm a bride on a budget and was turned away by these people. Christian tours?? If that is how Christians act I feel real bad for them when they go to meet the lord! I'll never use this property nor tell any one but of the horrible way I was spoken to! If you want a wedding and you are on a budget THESE PEOPLE WILL DISCRIMINATE AGAINST YOU SO PLEASE DONT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY!

My child’s school used this bus company for a 3day school trip. This is the second year that I have personally known of bus mechanical issues. Their buses don’t seem to be serviced properly before being provided to the school with kids! I’m addition, I expected the driver to be a little more cordial. He didn’t speak, help load luggage, apologize for the mechanical issues, and assist the passengers. Maybe this particular driver was new & if so, maybe assign this driver to local events not overnight.

The Tour Directors are nice and friendly and they certainly know their stuff. Bus drivers as well are phenomenal in navigating around the city streets. Highly recommend Christian Tours.

Extremely disappointed. I booked a last minute mini trip to Myrtle beach in November. I take care of my 90 yr old mother with Alzheimer’s. As a full time caregiver I desperately needed to get away and unwind. My problem was with our tour director Jerri. She was completely scatterbrained. She kept changing our times and schedule, by adding things a handful of passengers wished to go to. After one show she had the driver go to Broadway on the Beach to deliver 6 passengers. Then we returned to our hotel. We were then instructed to come back to board the bus earlier than scheduled to go back and pick up those 6passengers. Another time she fussed at 2 ladies for being 2 minutes late boarding the bus, then announced she’d forgotten her phone and we waited 5 more minutes while she went looking for it. The last day we stopped at an outlet mall. We were told they would arrive unlock the bus at 1:00 for those tired of shopping . We were scheduled to leave at 1:15. I admit that I returned five minutes late. As I approached the bus Jerri began berating me like a five year old telling me I was 20 minutes late, asked where I had been, and I should have kept better watch of time. I got on the bus defeated. As I apologized to everyone on the bus for being 20minutes late, they quickly responded that I was 5 minutes late as I originally thought. Upon returning home I discovered that during my 5 minute sin of being late for the bus, Jerri called my 90 yr old Alzheimer’s momther at my home in NC to ask her where I was. Does that make any sense? She had my cell number but calls my mother hundreds of miles away? I’m not 10 years old. I’m 64. Making that call got my mother so upset. She thought I’d been kidnapped and murdered. Even though my sister was staying with her while I took a few days to rest and assured her I was fine she got it in her head that if this woman called it had to be something horrible. She was beside herself until I was home again. At the end of their trips Christians tours has passengers fill out an evaluation form regarding the trip. I chose to fill it out on line where I could give the details of my disappointment. Never got a response. A simple I’m sorry we didn’t live up to your expectations would have helped. A tour director can make or break a charter this particular director definitely ruined a badly needed getaway for me

Christian tours also owns more then 55- rental homes in the area, I have leased from Christian Tours for 7- years, I am my grandchildren and dissabled daughter spent everything we had to move to this bible belt North Carolina, when I moved into the trailer on some Property, found it to b filthy broken and un. Maintenance, I was forced to do alot of the repairs my self, out of pocket, because they didn't come to do any repairs until after 4- months, they kept telling me the other vacancies and to be rented first, please go to Facebook ( mom's cry ) to view pictures and full story, tomorrow on 3/08/17, melonie burke owensby, new owner ( taking over after parents death) But mellonee was always there in the office next to her dad's, she knew I always complained. she Filed eviction on my grandchildren and I, even though as you will see, ( they owe us more money then we owe them, ) even though, they serverly damaged us, busted our things cracked windshield twice. Stole electric from us. Poisoned our pear trees, because I asked them to pay for the topper on the truck they distroyed. Shot rocks at my Chevy ( on camera ) because I complained to them about my grass not being cut proper 4 weeks and snakes. Drove their cars all over my yard. Even right outside my back door. Busted my grill. Broke my lawn chair. Left us with non working refrigerator ( that they brought us ,) put and electric fence 30ft. From back door. Which no signs ( my 5 yr old grandchild touched it by accident) it shocked her so bad she hard pain in stomach and couldn't move we had to call an ambulance. ( they did so many crul things just because I called them out on their bad behavior. And still never filed a suit against them, ( Christians are not to sue each other ) I didn't realize north Carolina only allows 3- yrs to sue for damages, so even though years ago I took reciepts and pictures into udean burke, he refused to repay me, and still has COMMITED several other crimes against us, yet still we hoped God would deal with them and they would make things right with us, ( they don't have fear of God, ) and have influence in our community, because of their wealth, please see our story, I am in such so much sorrow. Do NOT get a wedding here. It's nice for picture but they will screw you over hard will money. The lawn was not cut right. I had to use my own money to take care of bee's on the lake pavilion. Not worth a wedding.

Just got back from a wonderful trip with my daughters school band to Washington DC with Christian Tours. Our driver T.O. was awesome navigating through the hectic traffic, he got us where we needed to be. We also had a great tour guide Gary. He was very nice and did great guiding us through all of the monuments, museums and other places. They even stepped up at dinner one night and basically served us all. I would definitely go on a trip with them again!
