As you can read, it reaches an opinions average is practically the best one, and it is based on a very high number of feddbacks, so we can think that the evaluation is very faithful. If many people have bothered to give their feddback when they've done well, it works.
You know that we do not usually bother to put scores when these are positive and we usually do it only if we have had a problem or incidence...

We had a wonderful trip! Captain Andy was knowledgeable, funny & welcoming. Will recommend them to everyone.
If you're visiting Charleston and you only have time for one thing, this is it. This is a great boat tour; we've actually gone twice. The guide is very knowledgeable and tells some pretty funny dad jokes along the way. We learned quite a bit a out Charleston as well. It gets a little warm but top deck is the best experience. Sit on the right side of the boat as the tour goes counterclockwise around the harbor.
Great Crew but the tour was boring
Great scenic tour of the waterfront and cool history lesson. Would highly recommend!
A wonderful experience with tons of information. Did not expect the tour guide to be funny. Made it much more enjoyable
The price was good and the tour was great!
Great Tour! Narrator spoke clearly and was very informative. Very comfortable seats and great views. Air conditioned indoor area below which was a nice break from the heat.
You see a lot on the tour. Its worth it.
A cruise around the Charleston Harbor was the perfect way to spend our time while visiting family. Captain Andy and his crew were professional, friendly and knowledgeable. The historical narrative was fascinating! So, enjoy a beer and the best seat in town on the Carolina Belle.
Nice! We saw dolphins right away! Very relaxing tour.
Fantastic tour, Captain Andy and his crew were wonderful! We were lucky and caught sight of quite a few dolphins. Would definitely recommend this tour!
Fun boat ride with a lot of historical facts and cool sights. Boat had an outdoor and indoor section, bar, snacks, and bathroom, and the captain was funny.
Outstanding The captain's narration was informative and humorous.
My First Boat tour..GREAT
Gotta make time for this voyage...
This was such a fun & informative experience. My mom and I enjoyed this tour immensely. Captain Andy was an awesome guide.
Great customer service and wonderful tour! We missed our initial, scheduled tour & a representative was able to put on us on later, sailboat tour that same day! Such a beautiful tour & boat, definitely recommend!
Great tour! The Captain was great and had lots of interesting information! The tour lasted about 90 minutes. Very clean boat. Friendly and helpful crew. Full bar and some food available.
We enjoyed the harbor tour. We got there a little close to departure time and there weren't many seats on the deck but below deck there was plenty of seats and it was air conditioned. They gave out lots of history, way more then I was expecting and my son got to steer the boat. There are drinks and snacks available for sale on board and even recycling- Yea!!! The captain was happy to share suggestions for places to eat.
Had a really fun time!
Interesting naration with facts about the Civil War. Good view from the top deck. Tour lasted about 1 1/2 hours.
Tour narration was good. Nice views of the harbor
We did the tour 2 1/2 years ago when we visited Charleston for the first time. Returning with our adult children, we did it again because it's a great way to see Charleston from the water. The captain provided lots of interesting information as well as a few fun trivia facts. There were many scenic locations to view. Free parking made it even better!
Great service my mom is in a wheelchair they got her on and off the ship. Loved the tour and all the information about Charleston.
Knowledgeable guide and nice cruise in the Charleston Harbor.
Captain Andy was hilarious and quite knowledgeable about Charleston and the history surrounding the area. My boyfriend and I had a fantastic time. Shout out to Phil the bartender!
The boat captain Tripp was great. He was very entertaining, we had a great time. This was our first time ever on a boat.
Excellent tour for history buffs. Would have given it five stars but the directions from the website did not lead me to the pier. Signs are needed in the water front area leading to Harbor Tours. We drove around many times asking for assistance before finding the loading area.
We really enjoyed this tour. Fun attitude from the guide and very informative. Loved the dolphin sightings. Plenty of seats and not too crowded.
The tour was nice...however, I had just ONE complaint-which I shared with Libby-and she showed no concern whatsoever regarding that complaint! As a matter of fact, she completely dismissed the possibility of my claim even being valid, though she wasn't even aboard the tour-but me & the other passangers were...
We went on the Harbor tour with my 83-year-old parents on November 21st ~ all of us had a wonderful time. Wilson was our Captain and tour guide. He did an excellent job. It was 1 1/2 hours of history and also dolphin watching. I would definitely recommend this tour.
Very cool tour.
We walked into the ticket office at 11:30 exactly to check in (we bought tickets in advance) and the two women working said they already sent the boat off. They were very rude and not apologetic at all. Said that the boat is “very prompt” and basically said it was our fault for arriving at 11:30. Not once in the email that we received after purchasing our tickets did it say to arrive 15-20 minutes early. They refused to give us a refund and said we could take the next boat tour at 1:30, however, with this being a short weekend trip to Charleston, we had other excursions planned that afternoon and the following day. Unfortunately, it was a very unpleasant first experience in Charleston. My husband had to walk out of the ticket office based on how rude and unfriendly the two women working were (11:30am on Saturday, July 6th, 2019). I would not recommend this tour or company to our family or friends who travel to Charleston in the future.
Had a great tour with my family. Learned a lot of history of Charleston. Thank you
Absolutely highly recommend this Charleston Harbor tour well worth the little bit of money it cost 90 minutes you can sit inside or outside undercover or without the captain is very knowledgeable and they've got food and drinks definitely something to do when your in Charleston and I know I'll be doing it again
Relaxing, informative, great service staff, comfortable boats, even drinks & snacks.
Used the double tour special so after the harbor tour we walked over to the horse carraige tour. It was cloudy and raining so the view was only ok. But we stayed warm and the crew was friendly
Awesome tour!!! Captain was hilarious and knowledgeable of history..the kids loved it
Nice tour, always a good way to see a new city. Great views of the Ravenell bridge.
We had a great time... captain was a little corny but I'm sure that was scripted... it was great to see dolphins and learn the history of the harbor... very worthwhile trip
Their website says "rain or shine" yet they canceled as we were boarding. They could've given advanced notice since we purchased tickets in advance with a phone number and email. We even tried calling in advance from multiple lines to all numbers listed on their site yet all of them hung up immediately. However, once we managed to actually attend the tour we found it pretty enjoyable. The captain was the best part as he was funny and a great guide all together.
Nice job captain . She was informed and easy to understand
Excellent, learned a lot! Capt. Jack was informative and entertaining.
If you are in the Charleston Harbour area this is a must do! Amazing crew fun atmosphere and very informative. We had a very fun relaxing time!
Extremely enjoyable harbour tour. The Captain and crew were very knowledgeable and friendly. We will definitely do this again!
The tour on the Carolina Belle was extremely interesting with the captain pointing out historic places of interest. He also called up my 8-yr-old grandson to steer the boat, which he loved. The staff on the boat were very nice and took great care in helping us on and off the boat. A 5 star experience.
Very nice time. Nice breeze. Wonderful staff so helpful with friends walker.
We really enjoyed our 90 minute ride. The Captain and tour guide was a lot of fun and had a great personality and it was so nice to see a few dolphins! Definitely would recommend, there were all age groups on our sailing, but would recommend to families with older kids rather than younger, the little ones got bored fast.
Cute little tour. Crew that we interacted with were all sweet to my kids.
Very good trip
Fun trip! Beautiful scenery, quick tidbits of information and history. Clean boat and nice crew.
It was a great tour. The guide was interesting. Great experience.
Canceled the tour 10mins b4 it was time to take off (due to weather) came all the way from NY
We did the tri combo of the harbor tour, carriage ride, and Boone Hall plantation tour. Everything is so easy to read online, I called and made a reservation with 3 different payments and everything was very clear and simple. We were able to do our carriage ride first and it was just a short ride to the harbor tour. The tour was very comfortable and informative! My husband was in heaven and we loved the way they interacted with us during the trivia. Perfectly lined out tours.
Stephen was a great tour guide! Very informative, can tell he loves his SC history!!
Captain Andy and crew gave us a great tour, very informative.
Great tour guide but if you don't get a good seat /outside it isn't as enjoyable.
Fun and informative tour of the harbor. The captain and crew are the best! They know the best places around for great seafood, entertainment, and sightseeing! Worth the cost for sure.
Very informative! Great captain, super entertaining.
Scenic place for photography, Carolina Belle is just ok if you have not been, it has nothing special about it.better rent a private yatch.
This was a fun trip. Very informative and priced well.
Great way to see the harbor around Charleston. Goes very close to Fort Sumter. You can see some of the battery and it also takes you under the large suspension bridge and next to the USS Yorktown. It does not stop at any of these locations it just goes by then but it was a nice time to get off of our feet. Recommended!
Great tour had lots of fun
Interesting and comedic ship's captain who announced during our tour. Charleston Harbor was so much bigger than I expected. Ship was very clean and the staff was really nice!
Sunday Jazz brunch on the Carolina Queen could not have been more perfect for me. The Captains and crew are the best. When boarding I told the Captain I had been stationed here from 59 to 63 and this was my first time back. He immediately decided to change their plan of going toward Ft Sumter and took us up the Cooper River toward the old Navy Base. The changes in Charleston river front are unbelievable. He went as far as time would allow and brought us back under the main span of the new bridge system. The very way I went to sea to many times to count. My ship was the USS AGGRESSIVE MSO 422 . On the return voyage the excellent band played Anchors Aweigh for me.The bartender (Navy man himself) brought us a drink on him. To stand on top deck at the wheelhouse and feel the sea air just as I did so many years ago is an unforgettable moment in my life. We arrived back a little later than usual but the Captain said it was no big deal. Hats off to this great crew. I never would have thought this possible.
Awesome helpful talkative information of people
Enjoyed a beautiful afternoon on the Harbor during a quick visit down to Charleston. My sister had never visited the city, so we did a land and a water tour while there for a couiple of days.
Do you want relax and history it good place to visit
Fun times!
Great tour, fun & relaxing. Captain and crew were great. Well worth it .
Thank you so much for a great time!!! Gabby and the crew were amazing!!! Everyone needs to experience this tour! They are very funny and friendly!!! Thanks again!!
I took a cruise today on Charleston Harbor Tours eith my 90 year old mother. Because of her frailty and inability to stand for longer than 10 minutes I would not recommend this company or its cruises for anyone taking an older (say, 90 or older) or disabled loved-one on this line — it is not accommodating nor truly understanding of older passengers. There was no place for my 90 yr old mother to sit in the agency’s ticket office nor at the dock where we had to wait 20 minutes to board. For me and onother middle-aged family member the tour of historic Charleston Harbor was great; but for my frail 90 year old mother I give this cruise failing grades - they had no sense of her need to sit and rest in places where my mother just needed to wait in line. Disappointing given the price. Thumbs down. EJS III Fairfield CT
Did a lot of boat tours but this one was awesome! See the city and the fortress from the water. The captain was funny and talked a lot (in a good way) but the aircraft carrier is probably the eye catcher of the tour.
Capt. Trip was the best. Excellent waterfront tour of Charelston. A MUST do!
We enjoyed the evening tour. The captain was quite entertaining. She did a great job explaining the history of Charleston and the harbor area. It was a beautiful evening and the no-seeums enjoyed me as much as I enjoyed the ride. We bundled this trip with a Palmetto carriage ride and Middleton Place tour.
Had a great time, nice boat ride. Air conditioned.
Tour was fun and informative. Adults loved the guided tour of the landmarks and my 3yo loved the horn under the bridge. It started to downpour during our tour and she loved jumping in the puddles. Tour was just long enough to grab lunch and some drinks!
What a wonderful way to explore Charleston. We thoroughly enjoyed our trip and enjoyed learning so much about Charleston's rich history. Highly recommend for future visitors.
Alsome place to go.
Very nice, smooth and informative. If you love American history, then Charleston SC cannot be overlooked.
Very fun outing! Our Narrator was excellent
Nice relaxing tour. Clean boat. The staff is friendly and the guide is informative. Expect some corny, family friendly humor. I've been on several harbor tours and this one is my favorite.
Me and my wife went on a harbor tour at 9:30am we wanted the earliest they offered in a chance at seeing dolphin and we did saw at least 10 dolphin up Close to the boat ! The staff was great !! We rode the Carolina belle , the captain of the boat was very funny but also very informative about the history and the cities of the harbor !!! I would suggest doing this to anyone coming to Charleston!!!
We had captain Tripp, and Peyton and Alex; they were awesome. We appreciated that Capt. Tripp made an announcement about people talking during the tour ( which was super appreciated even though the people behind us still talked !!) Tripp threw in some humor into the mix which was very refreshing. The atmosphere is a little bit older, but the experience could be for any age. They sell alcohol and some snacks on board which was nice and they take your picture before you get on. Parking was free ( which was wonderful!!) It was very relaxing tour and perfect to have some toned down tourist time.
Sweet, nice, enjoyable!
Great informative tour lasted 90 minutes
It is informative.
Such a fun time well worth your time!! Reasonable orice too.
Great relaxing informative tour of the harbour. Took the last one out to watch the sunset from the harbour! Beautiful!
Don't waste your money.
Great tour and the captain and crew were the best Inform ative and humor ous
Great family entertainment. Great crew on boat. Very knowledgeable. This boat is Handicapped (wheelchair and scooter) accessible. Would recommend to anyone. Reasonably priced as well.
Really enjoyed the tour. Boat captain was knowledgable and entertaining. Would highly recommend!
Another way to see and hear a different interpretation of Charleston
It was a wonderful trip. We loved everything!!!
ALWAYS a great time when we visit!!! We try to take this tour every time we visit Charleston and always a great time. Captain Tripp is very knowledgeable and entertaining. If you have never taken this tour DO SO the next time you visit. The BEST one in the area.
Loved the cruise! Crew and Capt. Andy were very good, got to see all the historical sites around the harbor, very informative. Highest recomendation.
930 Sunday morning tour with superb captaining by Erin. Highly recommend!
The crew and staff did an excellent job. The history, tour, and trivia question s were great! Such a good attraction. If your in Charleston, you need to do this!
Very good to get a brief overview on the geography and history of Charleston and it's surrounding. The regular tour takes about 90 minutes, the captain moderates it on his own and seems to be very knowledgeable. In one of the pictures you can roughly see how the tour takes place.
Great tour, reasonable price, awesome narration.
Loved the tour that they give, very nice boat. Loved our captain either his name was tripp or skip cant remember which.
Fun tour. Relaxing.
Great tour great captain very informative
Be aware there are 2 different docks. Dont use wharfside.
Informative tour. Very nice to be able to choose outdoor deck seating or indoor, climate-controlled seating. You can see everything just as well from the inside, including the dolphins.
We realized today how much we learned on this tour! Fantastic and educational. Boot really for Kids, they were bored.
We took the 1:30 p.m tour today. The crew and captain were loads of fun. We highly recommend this tour.
It was informative but boat was too far away from shore to see what was being narrated about. Not a bad way to spend a relaxing 90 minutes. A little pricey for a harbor tour.
Wonderful experience! We did the tri-combo of the Charleston Harbor Tour, horse-drawn carriage ride, and Boone Hall plantation tour. Such a reasonable price and so easy to do. The information and cadence in Captain Wilson's voice made for an exceptional harbor tour. The horse-drawn tour took us to parts of Charleston we were not familiar with and told of different superstitions and traditions of Charleston. However, Boone Hall (the next day) was incredible and not to be missed.
Do try to sit on top deck. Sat in the bottom could not see points of interest and did not line up with what the guide was saying. We decided to walk up to top deck and had a great experience. Boat was crowded so we had to go bottom deck initially
Loved this tour, captain Andy was a blast. He knows how history and shared it well, along with a bit of humor.
Great tour. Boat was clean, kids enjoyed it. Lots of great information was given. Our captain was fantastic.
Alot of info, saw a few dolphins. Good cocktails!
Excellent tour. Funny narrator.
Overall a good boat tour at a decent price Thought we'd get closer to points of interest, waterfront architecture, Ft Sumpter etc (Maybe not possible due to local ordinances or river bottom topography? )
Great tour, great staff
Very fun and informative tour!
A must do while in Charleston
Great experience! I've lived here all my life with the exception of a few years & I learned things!
Beautiful day on the water. Narration was appreciated. Close up views of Fort Sumter .
I read the reviews for this company & loved it. Our tour guide was fun, taking us around Ft. Sumter. I took a star off because the pa system wasn’t adequate for the day. I could only hear about half of what was said when we went downstairs. Plus, we chose a cool day to go which turned into miserable cold out on the water (that wasn’t anything to do with the company but my own poor planning, still didn't enjoy it)
A great value. Captain/narration was entertaining and educational. Highly recommend it.
Captain Andy made this the coolest thing my nephews did in Charleston.
Neat way to see the city
Loved it! Great tour, great crew, very informative, even interactive, which I thought was great. Your not just sitting there listing to someone drone on. Was one of the first things we did when we got to Charleston, and glad we did because we found 4 other places we wanted to visit. Highly recommend this to any, and everyone!
Narration was lively, but tour wasn't too interesting. Didn't get very close to shore. Not much available at snack bar, and server was having a bad day.
They have a couple of different boats. The 3 mast sail boat was just coming from the repair yard Friday 2/16/18. That would be a fun day.
We took a Blues and BBQ cruise. You can't beat the views of the harbor and sunset on the water. The BBQ was a perfect example of Lowcountry cuisine: pulled pork, grits, potatoes, roasted chicken, coleslaw, buns and cookies, tea. The band was nice but is was playing on the top deck and only for people who were drinking by the bar, not the dining crowd on the lower deck. So the BBQ and Blues were physically separated and the visitors had a choice to make: drinking with music or dining without listening to the band...
Great vessel. Great crew.
What a great experience. Used this service as a private tour for a family reunion. The food and open Cash bar was a hit with the family. The dj exceeded our expectation and kept us entertained the whole night. A little difficulty with communication at first however staff can be contacted by email or phone. I would definitely use this service again and recommend the Charleston harbor tours for family or social events.
This was a great boat tour of the Harbor! Lots of good information I'd you have never heard the history of Charleston SC.
Fun time. Enthusiastic captain that does a great job narrating . If you're a veteran of these types of cruises when you travel, this one isn't too exciting. Not a tremendous amount to see overall. But still a nice way to cool off.
My group loved this sailboat tour. The captain Jeff and first mate River treated us very well and are very knowledgeable about the history of Charleston. I would return and recommend highly
Lovely relaxing and educational tour. We learned things that enhanced our tours of Sumter and Moultrie as well as Patriots Point. I would recommend this BEFORE those tours because it gives you a bit more depth while you are there!
We went on the harbor tour on a beautiful Tuesday afternoon. There is a small trivia portion of the tour that my group truly enjoyed. The teenagers in my group googled most of the answers and "won" snacks from the bar. It was wonderful to have that interaction during the short cruise. The crew was phenomenal and it was great getting to know a bit more about Charleston.
Our tour guide went above and beyond! Great entertainer and speaker. Loved the history lesson. Enjoyed all the dolphin viewing.
Enjoyed many good tours with Charleston Harbor Tours and only wish they offered a locals discount because we love to do these on a regular basis. Be early because the boat leaves when it says it does and I've seen many people left behind by showing up late. There's a whole boat waiting to leave and you don't want to be the reason it can't. Count on traffic and parking and walking to the boat in your time table. Get there well before departure.. There are great views and a building with good info about Fort Sumter while you wait.
Very informative. Great tour!
This might have to be a must if you visit Charleston! We enjoyed all the sights a lot and our captain was amazing. We learned a lot and enjoyed the views of that gorgeous bridge.
Capt Andy was a delight
We did the Happy Hour Tour on a Saturday. It was awesome!!! The staff is super friendly. The captain was knowledgeable and funny! The drinks were good! The tour time was perfect because the heat of the day was wearing off. The captain provide great commentary, history, and interesting facts about the Charleston Harbor and the city in general. I would highly suggest this tour to anyone!
Very fun, nice way to see the sights and get familiar with the harbor. Captain Trip was very amusing and our kids liked the interactive trivia aspect.
Very nice boat tour. We enjoyed it very much!!!
Great overview of the Charleston Harbor area. Crew was helpful, informative and fun. Don't forget to bring a jacket; even a little wind is cool on the water especially important for an evening Cruise.
Captain Andy is amazing!
We enjoyed the harbor history tour! Plenty of seats, didn't seem cramped. We could hear the narration clearly. The boat was large enough that it was a smooth ride even on a windy day. We especially loved getting to go under the copper river bridge.
Captain was really entertaining and provided a really informative tour! Had a great time!
Great tour with lots of relevant historical info about the sights. Captain Andy and crew were efficient and accommodating especially considering the quickly changing weather conditions during the tour. My suggestion is to bring binoculars to get a better look at some sights.
Beautiful way to see the Charleston harbor. Saw dolphins, historic buildings from the water, Ft Sumpter, and Sullivan’s island. Did not get off, but got a good view of each
the boat ride is really fun! I recommend it!
Captain Andy n crew very knowledgeable, friendly n funny
Erin and her crew were awesome. We were sad at how fast the 90 minutes went by. I can't wait for our next vacation down here
Was the best part of my trip
Blues and BBQ, Shrimp City Slim playing with Swig and Swine serving up great pork & slaw. Super evening eating, drinking and dancing.
This cruise was very fun and filled with Charleston’s rich history. Capt. Tripp was funny and knowledgeable. During the cruise there is a trivia portion where you can win free snacks. Also during the trip they let kids drive the ship. Get your camera ready because you will see several pretty views. Also beware of the horn under the bridge!
Great experience
Good something to do, would do it again
