Amazing experience, definitely worth it to try while visiting Providence. I came to try the boat ride and in the end had a story worth mentioning to my friends and family. Very friendly staff and great service especially the Italian cookies was a nice touch. I went by myself and they charged me with a reasonable price of fifty-five dollars. Just make sure you make an appointment in advance. My gondolier sang to me in Italian and told the history of Providence while exploring the city’s riverside and artwork. I only went in the daytime but I want to go again during the night time. I implore everyone to go to La gondola Providence and ride their gondolas!!

I travel to RI a few times a year to visit family and decided to take the wife on the La Gondola. Best decision I made in awhile. We LOVED IT! So relaxing, great singing by the owner and wonderful gifts provided during the ride. Highly recommend it. Thanks again to the owner for a wonderful boat ride.

Wonderful adventure, very peaceful and educational about the area. The crew members were funny and professional. We enjoyed the gondola ride, and it was worth the price (they offer different packages). They sang a few songs, both in Italian and English, which was a nice change.

A night to remember!! Our first date was Waterfire last summer. Being the romantic that I am, I decided what better Christmas gift could I get for the love of my life than a gift certificate for a gondola ride! As this seasons opening grew closer the excitement grew! Words can't describe our night on the gondola ride. It was absolutely beautiful and perfect in every way! It was a night to be remembered for the rest of our lives. Our gondolier Marcello was exceptional! From the beginning when I had first thought of the gift certificate, to the night of our trip, he was right there to answer my questions, offer advice, and help me to plan every last detail!! I highly recommend LaGondola and can not wait to go back again!!

Ideal afternoon: Our family took a gondola ride this weekend and it was wonderful. I was amazed to learn some of the facts about Providence that I did not know, especially what the now-revitalized canal area used to look like. Our gondolier also made a recommendation for a restaurant that made their own root beer, and he was correct, it was indeed excellent. The evening wrapped up with walking along the canal area.

My friend and I were looking to take a spontaneous day trip while we were visiting Boston and came across the idea to do a Gondola ride in Providence - seeing as the only other things to do there were museum/zoo/botanical gardens of which we weren't too thrilled to do. This was PERFECT! Great history of the city was given, friendly guide, and a perfect day of weather was exactly what we were looking for! Our only "good info" I would give to anyone doing an earlier ride and wanting something like a mimosa, plan ahead! We showed up to Providence ready to go buy champagne and no one sold it that early in the morning so we ended up grabbing coffee instead - but kinda stunk that we couldn't experience what we planned on. Still a great experience though! Also, just a heads up. $7 cash for parking in the closest lot. Annoying but it's a great central location so we just stayed in that lot all day and walked around. Close enough to tour the downtown on foot without having to move the car.

We took the Viaggio de sogni last night before waterfire. It was romantic and relaxed despite the rain that started falling just as we left the dock. The gondolier and his assistants were attentive and pleasant, answered our questions, and made the trip very enjoyable. The wine biscuits were fun and delicious. This is a must do for anyone going to Providence.

FIVE stars and five more! Our second trip with Marcello, this time to renew our wedding vows. Not only does Marcello sing romantic love songs and have, in my opinion, the BEST attraction in Providence, he is a J.P. and can perform wedding ceremonies. If you are looking for a special evening with friends or a loved one, this will make for a wonderful memory and put a smile on your face. Highly recommend La Gondola!

My wife and I (28 and 36 years old) stumbled across these folks on an impromptu day trip to Providence. It looked like it could be a fun lark and we asked how much it was for a ride. $40-something for 20 minutes and $80-something for 40 minutes. This seemed like a lot to us, but we were feeling a bit spontaneous and extravagant so we went ahead and booked a 20 minute ride. After a quick run to the wine store to buy some drinks, we came back and got started. OH MY GOD. It was SO MUCH MORE MAGICAL than I imagined it would be. The day was lovely, the gondola was beautiful, our gondolier ("Rosario") was SO sweet and SO professional and SO great. Listening to his singing under bridges with the sun reflecting off the water was legitimately one of the best travel experiences in my life (and I've been around!). I cannot recommend this enough. Even if you are like us and you think "c'mon, that's just gonna be cheesy and a waste of cash"... I'm telling you, it's really very special.

Absolutely blown away by the staff and service. This was our first time visiting Rhode Island, the gondola experience was amazing. Our gondolier Amadeo was informative and surprised us with three amazing Italian songs. This experience is highly recommended for anyone visiting Providence Rhode Island.

A must do if you are anywhere near Providence. We had the gondola ride with the violinist (Camilla) and gondolier Nicola, (Thomas) who were fabulous. We were serenaded while we sipped sparkling water. If you've never heard the acoustics of a violin played under a bridge you have not lived. This experience was fun and romantic. Providence is a beautiful city and this was an awesome way to experience it.

A very relaxing ride. It was a first for us. Amadeo? our gondolier was very pleasant and accommodating on our ride. The Italian serenades along our ride made it very enjoying and the wine biscuits were delicious. I would recommend it to anyone looking for something different to do.

My daughters and I spent a night in Providence and ended our night with a gondola ride. I had done this ride about ten years ago and called it magical. Well tonight didn’t disappoint. Allesandro ( hope I got his name right) was absolutely amazing. So knowledgeable about the city and his voice was incredible. You could tell he had a lot of passion for what he was doing. I am so glad I was able to give this experience to my daughters. Something they will never forget. They are both talking about bringing their husbands back to experience the magic. I hope I have our gondoliers name right because he certainly deserves a huge shout out.

Omg this was so amazing!! They were so helpful and accommodating!! If you go to Providence and you don’t do this, your a fool! This was the absolute best part of my weekend getaway. They are just the best - the boats are stunning, our gondolier sang and sounded like a baby angel singing. This is the absolute most fun! It’s romantic and beautifuli went with my wife and friends and we all had an amazing time. So thankful to the staff for putting up with us!! I will do this every time I am in town! What a treat!!!

It was such a beautiful experience. It would be great as a romantic date but this time I went with my friends. However, we still had a great time with Rosario, our gondolier. He was funny, serenaded us and was very informative during the tour. I would definitely do this again and I would recommended this to everyone. It is such a great time. Oh fyi, you can bring your own bottle of wine and they will have an ice bucket to place the bottles in while on the gondola ride. Rosario even poured our first glass for us before we took off. They offer wine cookies which are a nice treat. Also, we were told they offer a service where you can reserve dinner at Cafe Nuovo so you eat while on your ride. La gondola coordinates this with the restaurant where you take the ride and each time you return to the docks the waiter has your app, entree and/or dessert ready for you. That's awesome!!!! Ultimate date experience. One more thing, you can get married during your gondola ride. Call them and ask for more details.

Alessandro was amazing! Adventurous experiences you don't take the same ones again and again so a lot rides on your leader and Alessandro fulfilled that. He was very knowledgeable, kind and relatable. This was a surprise for my husbands 30th birthday and it could've gone good, but it went spectacularly! We had limited time in Providence but We wanted to do something meaningful still and get a feel for the city. I came across this on an Internet search and it did not disappoint! Our gondolier was so friendly! He was super knowledgeable and told us about the history of Providence and how it is today. He sang for us and has such a beautiful voice.. really made the experience that much more memorable. He had great suggestions for us in our short time in the city with restaurant recommendations and a cool park with a great city overlook. Would highly recommend this experience, you will not regret it!

Gandoliere Ivano was great with singing and speaking Italian, sing my daughter "Happy Birthday" song in Italian and we were overlooking wedding ceremony at the time of our ride. A must do when in Providence, RI. I timed our tour to have it right around sunset and it was absolutely amazing! All the gondoliers I met prior and after our tour were just so sweet and made us feel welcome. Our gondolier was very knowledgeable about the city and answered any question. My favorite part was the serenade as we rode under the bridge.
