I went to the Belmont Stakes with this company. We were not informed that our tickets did not include a seat. Some folks brought folding chairs. We were dropped off near a bus stop and told we could take a bus or walk to the main gate. We chose the ‘short’ .75 mile walk - ugh. Not a good walk for seniors. We did not find the restaurants we we told about and ended up eating hot dogs for dinner. $8.00 hot dogs was not a surprise. It became clear to us that this was a venue for young people, not Seniors. We were told by Gourmet the buses back to the parking lot were outside the main gate. After waiting a few minutes, we realized that was not the spot. We asked for directions. We we told walk that way and look for the signs. We never saw a sign and after walking more than a mile we found a police officer who could help She told us where to wait and stopping a bus for us. The bus was full, but the driver let us stand. We finally arrived at the lot with our bus and in a nearly empty parking lot, there sat our bus in the very last row. It would have been nice if the driver moved the bus closer. We were exhausted and looking forward to wine and cheese Gourmet neither provided glasses or napkins the crackers were ritz crackers. lol, there was nothing Gourmet about this trip
It was very unorganized. The ‘tour guides’ did not provide any useful information about getting around the track.
