So we were planning to come to Newport Rhode island but we only had 5 hours available to visit. Unfortunately there's more here to see then a lots for just one day. Knowingly we made the choice to take a trolley tour and chose the Discover Newport tour. Now, normally I would not want to take these tours because I find one is often restricted by time.However I figured this would be the best way to see the attractions of Newport. Our driver Russ, was knowledgeable, patient and had a touch of great humor. I would definitely recommend anyone go on this tour as a great way to save time on planning and getting orientated to Newport, Rhode Island.

Self service coffee machine was excellent. So was our tour guide. Downside to Newport was that JFK was married and so many rich people live or lived there makes you wonder New Port sucks on average tax payers for its tourism. Tourism I'm RI should be totally free with all the affluent people that have sprawled their wealth.

Don't ever use the parking lot. It took over 30 minutes to get out and only 10 cars in front of us. Total disappointment. The people are rude and vile. Skip it!!

Dennis was GREAT!! Very helpful when I visited a while back. 4 stars because the lady I spoke to first was not helpful. I was able to get lots of information about visiting the Mansions and the Cliffwalk. Info on parking, prices, hours, and tour tickets. Very clean on the inside

Talk about useful info given concisely. We were in and out with 5 minutes: we told the representative how long we were in town and she gave several options and outlines on a local map. All places visited were great!

It's a visitors center, not much more to it. Get tickets to local attractions, maps, and information. They have bathrooms, so get that out of the way while you're here.

Visitors information center is a one place tourist information center where you get all the information about the places to visit in NewPort! It's a nice and clean place, friendly staff and tickets to all attractions with a nice waiting area. Ample parking space with ticket price per 1/2hr.
