We took a sunset sail on the Eleanor with O think their names were Matt and Dan? Dave? Dilbert. Whatever. Fun guys, beautiful boat and views from Narragansett bay. A perfect short excursion for before or after dinner.

Debi P

Nice semi-guided tour of the bay. The crew was really nice.

A great fun crew, interesting facts about the sites and Newport. A beautiful sail, what more can you ask for? Oh yea, dark and stormies! I went twice! great for large crews or families!

Eleanor (smaller, single mast): Reasonable drinks, good company, and a great afternoon ride on the ocean. Tour guides are great!

We sailed on the Adirondack II on an unfortunately foggy day but the wind was brisk, the crew was excellent, and we had an absolutely wonderful time! I highly recommend the experience!

This the second year we did company trip. Nice change of pace from being behind a laptop all day. Great way to see beautiful Newport and get a little history. Beer, wine and Black & Stormy Rum drinks are served. All drinks range from $3-5. Sam was our guide and two other nice guys. I plan to come back with my wife for a sunset cruise. No better way to spend a day in Newport!

Enjoyed sailing on this beautiful Scarano Boat for our anniversary! Awesome staff and crew. Dark and stormys on the boat were great! It was rainy but crew handed out ponchos and blankets were available. This is the second time we sailed and loved it! Its a must do in Newport!

It was a perfect day for a sail. Clear, bright and good SW wind. Almost had rails in the water. The staff was friendly and we'll trained. It's my favorite your boat in Newport.

I have been so many times and have such wonderful memories cruising the bay on cusions with cocktails beneath the Newport Bridge. Everyone aboard and on shore is a rockstar.

Tatiana Fonseca

The crew was fabulous and so much fun, and the sail was absolutely beautiful. The guide also gives just th right amount of history of the island. I have done it now three times and recommend it to other parties!

Wayne Morra

Fabulous two hour cruise in Newport harbor. Excellent experience crew. Beverages available once the sails are up. Strong yes on this experience.

What could be more delightful than a late morning "Mimosa" sail around the Narragansett Bay? Great ship, fabulous crew. Highly recommend!

On Tuesday August 20th we took the 2:30 tour. We went as a group 5. The sailing itself was good. But the crew was disengaged and seamed inconvenienced to take us sailing. At one point one of the deck hands/tour guides disappeared below deck. The 2nd tour guide went to the captain and my wife over herd them talking about ordering chipotle and one would have to pick it. Then the 2nd deck hand went below deck and they both came up together. In general there was no information given about the history of newport. We went with a friend of ours who is a local to Newport was disappointed with your tour and will not recommend your company. The pitch at the end for tips was unnecessary. "If you enjoyed yourself great if we need to improve on something please take out a 20 dollar bill and write your comments on the side.

Relaxing, friendly staff, comfortable sailboat, beautiful scenery, affordable, great places to eat before or after your sailing. One of our favorite things when in the area.

(Translated by Google) Quiet while sailing 7 to 8 knots no more. A treat (Original) Tranquille tout à la voile 7 a 8 noeuds pas plus. Un regale

A great boat tour that I would highly reccomend! Our crew was fabulous they had a Greta sense of humor and were very knowledgeable about the area. Drinks are available for purchase on the boat at a decent price. The tour overall was shorter than expected in terms of time and we also didn't go very far. That is the only change I would suggest

Excellent experience! The staff was courteous and professional, from Mary in the ticket office to Danielle, Connor, and Captain Mark aboard ship. They provided interesting and informative insight into the area as the cruise went on, and served beverages at reasonable prices. An added attraction was the dolphins which swam by the ship and entertained us for several minutes. All in all a pleasant outing and a great way to see and learn about Newport Harbor.

We caught one last sail before leaving Newport yesterday on Eleanor. She is a beautiful sloop that just glides through the water. Our captain, Nolan, is outstanding, as was his mate, Connor. They both kept everyone engaged and entertained while we sailed. Captain Nolan allowed passengers to take a turn at sailing, under his guidance. We had a great time, even catching some of the folk festival from the water! We recognized Nolan from another sail we went on last year. He is young, but really knows what he is doing! Hope to see him again next year!

Rob Tyska

Great crew, fun sail, reasonably priced.

Well worth the time and money. We took the morning sail at 11 am and it was great. The crew were very nice and knowledgeable about the area and made decent mimosas. The boat itself was very nice and the views were amazing.

We took a ride on the Elenor. We did the sunset cruise. The ships crew was awesome. Very informative and great personalities. They had a lot to say about local history and great stories of the area. Try a dark and stormy. Don’t miss the experience.

Three friends and I took a sunset sail tonight with Captain Mark, Connor, and Nolan. The sail was perfect and they made us very comfortable. It was a chilly night and they had blankets for us! When some clouds rolled in, they moved the boat so we’d have a better view. Highly recommend these guys!

Joseph Halevi

Awesome crew. Awesome sailboat. Awesome views. Definitely a winner. Go for it!

Claudio Fedele

Fabulous sunset cruise of the harbor. Our crew was excellent. They were fun, entertaining and very knowledgeable. They gave us great stories of the harbor, boats and local history. My wife and I had a terrific time. I would highly suggest this excursion to anyone who loves sailing and catching a wonderful sunset!

We have sailed on this schooner at least 3 times. Each trip was awesome. Today however was totally awful. We motored out. Sails went up. But we spent most of the time looking at Fort Adams and the shore line. The wind could of been better but who wants to stay in the same space without movement. A better solution would be tacking or put the motor on. But to have us float in one spot for so long is just not right. In no wind situations you should cancel or USE YOUR MOTOR. Today was just awful. We felt ripped off!

Wow! What a great adventure for a reasonable price. The crew was warm, friendly and informative, the boat was beautiful, and we had the perfect sunny windy weather!!

Jennifer Antantis

The boat and crew were awesome! Kayla was an awesome captain. Dan and Josh (I think) were very nice and informative about the geography! It was my first time sailing and I loved it! Thank you for a nice ride!

I have taken my friends and family out on this boat several times during the summer. They always loved it! (even my mom and my sister when it was raining... although windy and exciting) A sail aboard Adirondack II is something I would absolutely recommend. The crew is amazing!!

Peter Sharpe

Beautiful boat. Capt. Kevin and crew Emma and Dillon were excellent. Knowledgeable about the bay and the local surroundings. Look forward to doing this again.

Katrina Anderson

Loved our trip with Ben, Emma and Nolan. They were kind, knowledgeable and fun and made our celebration complete!

Jill Springer Gostic

I have done the mimosa sail twice and enjoyed both times. The staff are fun and informative. The sites are beautiful. The sail itself was safe and calm. I get sea sick very easy was relieved that I didn't get sick either time. Would definitely recommend it!

Lisa Moratz

Excellent experience. Find their kiosk. It's around the corner from the line up of the other ticket booths ; the oval ticket booth is theirs. Look for the fans at the top of the booths misting water. Michaela was the most wonderful example of Great customer service. I'd hire her! Always smiling, knowledgeable and who wouldn't sail with them if the rest of the crew was like Michaela. Kevin the captain was great, as was the rest of the hard working crew Brittany and Connor. We had the Sunset cruise, but unfortunately the mist and clouds moved in, so we didn't see a Sunset, but the crew still made it s Wonderful 90 minutes of fun. The beer, wine and other drinks were cold, had my first dark and stormy, a must try. Cash bar and great prices, and the crew made this excursion well worth the $45pp. We even had blankets available if we were cold. I'd do this trip again and again it was that much fun.

Well worth the money. Last night to see the fireworks. We were on the Elenor singing to tunes via phone and having fun with everyone. The boat captain and mate at the 8:15PM Sat. night departure was great, funny and attentive to everyone needs. Thank you for a great night. We will definitely be back with guests

mike reynolds

Great staff, smooth sailing. Mike still is employed.

Nuno Bernardino

Amazing sailing cruise and amazing views!

This boat ride was amazing! We went for a bachlorette and made reservations in advance. One of our group was running late and they held the boat up for a few minutes and made it quite funny by welcoming her with a slow clap. The crew was incredibly attentive and chatty, and because we had a last minute cancellation on our reservation and couldn't get the ticket refunded, they were told to give us a complimentary bottle of champagne. Overall, this was the most fun part of our weekend, and I am already planning on doing the sunset sail later this summer!

Susan McMullen

Thank you Captain Mark, Sam and Danielle. Awesome sail.

We were scheduled for a sunset cruise on 7/22/2016 @ 7 pm. We arrived at actactly 7 pm which was the departing time. My girlfriend set this up as a birthday gift and plans we arrived while the boat was still at the dock and could have easily walked right on. Now i understand we were late but the boat had not left yet and hadent even turned on the engines yet. My girlfriend got there showed the tickets to the employee and then recieved a really dirty look and attitude that employees name was lindsey, at which time the boat turned on the engine and started its depart. While my girlfriend was balling her eyes out right next to the dock and adirondack 2's booth while lindsey just sat there and smercked. So after about 20 minutes later of my girlfriend balling her eyes out in the middle of newport because she had thought that she ruined my birthday which she did not. So after all this i walked to the booth to be meet by lindsey and request a refund due to the fact the boat didnt leave engines wernt on and could have easily just stepped on to the boat i know we were late and there are rules but customer service goes a long way. So as i got to the booth and request nicely for a refund and was just going to walk away and go have dinner and not worry about it. Lindsey refused to give me a refund and had a smitty atitude with me aswell. I aaked for the managers name and number still with attotude and no sympathy gave me a pamflet and wrote down helen's name. So at this time i walked away nicely and didnt cause a scene, the next day on 7/23/2016 at about 12 i called and spoke to helen which was extremly rude and not helpful really in anyway. Helen gave me alot of attitude and never once apoligized for anything infact just said to me that she was aware of the situation and belived her employee. Helen also said and i quote if u buy an airplaine ticket you dont show up at the airport when the plaine is leaving. Are you kidding me this is the kind of cuatomer service this company has. I am a manger and deal with customer service everyday and espicailly in industry she and this boat company is in having a manager talk to a customer that way is just wrong and will destroy bussiness. Maybe someone should have ber read the book give em the pickle it mught help helen understand what bussiness is. Helen also said ti me that i hope you never co.e back here again. Well helen and the adirondack 2 and company i will not be back to you ever but i will go to your compeditor. You and your company has lost my respect and bussiness forever. I never made it on the boat but if this is how the customer service is off the boat im sure its not good on the boat either.

Went with my family on a midday sail 7/30. Had a great time. the crew was really friendly, and they did a great job! The boat was really nice and sailed like a dream. As Crosby Stills and Nash sang in Southern Cross, "We got eighty feet of waterline, nicely making way". Highly recommend them next time you are in Newport.
