My wife and I routinely schedule all of our travel arrangements through World Travel. Our one and only agent we highly recommend, Melanie Downey, has been outstanding! Melanie has booked our frequent annual trips to Aruba, various trips to Florida and even our first time to Italy. Melanie is very accommodating to our concerns, is able to find us the best and most reasonably priced vacations. Customer service and availability, even while away, is to be commended. We will continue to use the services of World Travel because of how easy making the arrangements through Melanie has been so consistent over the years.

Monday we sat with Melissa Hart, we gave her the general details we'd like in our trip, gave multiple contact information and was told she would get back to us Tuesday with options (the location was closing early this day due to an event). Here it is, late Thurday afternoon and nothing from her or the company... ultimately I went another route.

Nanette at World Travel is truly a skilled professional at crafting memorable vacations. She created an exciting itinerary for our Italy trip and took into account the needs and desires of our two teenage nieces. Her hotel, restaurant and mode of transport suggestions were perfect for us and adhered to our travel budget. Every detail was thoughtfully organized and nothing was left to chance. We were provided local guides and drivers who were delightful as well as knowledgeable. Our nieces enjoyed the beach vibe of Rapallo and my husband and I enjoyed some much needed R and R time. Rome, Venice, Positano and Pompeii were all amazing to visit. Rich in history, architecture and delicious food. Nanette built a timeline for these destinations that was all inclusive but yet not exhausting. Our only hiccup was the return flight home. Weather issues stranded us in Chicago overnight. Of course we cannot control the weather so we simply enjoyed a nice dinner and restful evening at a local hotel and arrived home a day later than anticipated. Ah, the joys of air travel. Thank you sincerely, Nan. You are a vacation rock star.

Love you guys! Thank God we booked with World Travel instead of online like others had suggested. The agents we spoke with couldn't have been nicer or more helpful from the start to until we had to call from the airport due to cancelled flights! They got us an awesome deal at a Sandals in Jamaica and were there when we needed them. Our return flight got cancelled and we had to get home...I don't remember the agent's name but she went into action and even though we now had to make a connecting flight, we were still home in plenty of time to get back to our kids and (unfortunately) our regular lives. Thanks World Travel!

My wife and I have done quite a bit of traveling since we retired in 1994. We did not use a travel agent but instead, worked with entities such as National Trust for Historic Preservation, etc. This past summer a very old and good friend of mine told us about the lovely trips that are available in Norway in ships which cruise along the various fjords. It sounded like a wonderful kind of trip to take. He also highly recommended that we work with a travel agent by the name of Nanette Gatlos who works for World Travel in Pennsylvania who he has used extensively. So based, on his recommendation, we contacted Nan. She has been great! This kind of a trip is quite complex as we chose to fly first into, Reykjavik in Iceland on Iceland Air (because their fares are reasonable) and then fly from there to Bergen Norway. After a day and a half in Bergen we board our ship for a 10 day cruise. All along the way there are various excursions which you can take. So you can see this is a fairly complicated trip which we would have had trouble coping with by ourselves. Nan has provided a tremendous amount of expertise, insights and help which is making our life a lot easier. For any additional trips we might take in the future we definitely will call on Nan. She is a great asset.
