We worked with TripGuy to book our destination wedding in Montego Bay! We had over 65 guests join us for our week celebration. TripGuy worked with our friends and family for room bookings, early deposits and payments leading up to the trip. They handled all of our guests questions. We had an amazing time and the resort recommended was perfect for our guests who ranged from 13 mons to 70 years old! I have plans to book a family vacation with their team soon. Highly recommend for large group travel!

I wonder if these one star reviews were for a different company, because I cannot say enough wonderful things about Tripguy Travel. I had not used a travel agent before and after this experience, I never want to travel without one. I was floundering with the many options online while planning our Mexico Destination wedding. Once I found Tripguy (and realized that they were free of charge for me), Mitch helped me narrow down which resort to chose by spending >1 hour on the phone (2-3 times) with me. He discussed, very honestly, the pros and cons of each resort. It seemed as though he had traveled with his family to many of them and offered first-hand knowledge that made choosing a resort in our budget much easier! The resort we chose ended up delivering exactly what he promised and fell short in all the ways he prepared me for. Mitch explained the wedding planning process and connected me to all the right people before we arrived at the resort. He was able to clarify and answer my questions along the way when I was having difficulty understanding or when the resort was taking a very long time to respond. There were many instances where myself or my guests tried to find the answer to a question (for example how to sign up for a golf tee time), failed, and Mitch would figure it out for us in less than a day. He also helped us to find excursions and got us discounted rates for both excursions that we chose. The excursion company that he connected us too definitely ended up being the best that we observed at the resort. Mitch also worked with my maid of honor in planning the bachelorette party at the resort, giving many options for safe off-resort travel. The response time while planning was, if not immediate, in less than six hours for any question I had. They clearly have an answering system where if your primary agent is not available, someone else responds for them. Once we arrived in Mexico, the response time was IMMEDIATE. My email time stamps show that Mitch emailed me back less than 2 minutes after I emailed him each time. We had two hiccups that required Mitch’s help while at the resort (one involving dinner reservations and one regarding early travel back to the resort from an excursion due to rain). Both times, I emailed Mitch and the problem was resolved immediately. My guests all mentioned how happy they were with their transportation from the airport and said they will use Tripguy again. My brother and his wife just booked their honeymoon to Jamaica with Mitch. Our wedding was everything I hoped for and more. I am so grateful to Mitch and his team at tripguy travel. They made what would have otherwise been a very intimidating and overwhelming wedding planning feat easy and fun. They were our travel-angels watching over us via email while we were away in a foreign country. You definitely want this team on your side while traveling!

Had a wonderful experience utilizing TripGuy Travel. From start to finish they provide excellent customer service. Mitch and Christine are amazing. Planning a destination wedding is no small feat but with TripGuy Travel on your team it will alleviate a lot of stress. Mitch helped us narrow down the resorts and because of their inside knowledge we were privy to an excellent deal for our wedding where we were guaranteed a free upgrade to a presidential suite. This saved us a lot of money traveling with 3 children and needing the extra space. Our room was hands down the best room on the resort. We had both ocean and resort views with a wraparound balcony and a rooftop terrace with a Jacuzzi pool. AMAZING. TripGuy works with the resorts to try and get you and your guests the best room options available. We booked a year early we were able to get this amazing room. Even with hiccups here and there we knew we were in good hands. They operate with a high level of integrity and customer service and these things you can't put a price on and you don't pay anything for their service! I recommend Mitch and his team a million times over to brides and grooms planning destination weddings.

Not reliable at all. Transportation - Completely messed up my transportation from arrival to departure. I waited alone for 2 hours in Mexico and had to take an Uber instead. Even though I sent over my flight information twice and confirmed the morning of my arrival, tripguy refused to admit fault or give a refund back. Resort - 2 people got food poisoning, someone's reservation was shortened a day and had to work with the front desk for hours to stay her original time, resort tried to double charge me for a tour, I was told I had to do a late check-out for that tour... Only to receive a call the next morning that they do not have my room as a late check-out and that I must leave before I head out for the excursion and resort was insanely overpriced ($30 for bug spray) A travel agent is supposed to be make vacation easier but they just caused major headaches. I couldve handled everything on my own for a fraction of the price.

I originally worked with Mitch and Jessics to book our destination wedding in Mexico. Well the wedding did not happen as my fiancé called it off 3 weeks before the wedding. My family and friends still came to Mexico with me and tripguy really helped me make the best of an unfurtunate situation. They were so helpful along the way and I highly recommend them.

We have had two other friends enlist TripGuy Travel for their destination weddings, so when it came to planning our destination wedding, I knew who to call right away! We went back and forth a several times discussing resorts until I found the perfect one! Once invites went out, Mitch and his team sprung into action helping our 110 guests book their rooms and also coordinate transportation to and from the airport. Mitch and his team were there EVERY step of the way and helped in any way they could. Everything went really well...We couldn't be happier! I dealt with this company because a close family friend was getting married and registered with them for the bridal shower. When we got the email about the honeymoon it only showed the excursions we could buy as a gift for the bride (couple) ....this was not good because not everyone can spend over $100 - and up on a gift and they would not allow you to just give what you wanted toward the excursions. I had to have at least 2 to 3 emails back and forth just to ask how to buy a gift certificate in the amount I wanted for the bride to go towards the honeymoon. When all of this should have been in the original PDF that was sent out.
