Service and equipment were great, people very nice, pricing seems fair. No showers, there is a Porta-Potty and some outdoor changing booths. Had a great time floating down the Delaware River, would definitely use Chamberlain again.

I've been using Brad at Chamberlain Canoes twice a year for the past 4 years to provide my adventure group with equipment and transportation on our kayak trips down the Delaware River. His staff is always very professional and helpful and his equipment is well used but in good shape. Many of his rentals have seats that are more comfortable than mine. I own my own kayak and he portages for half the price of a full rental. They are very flexible and accommodating and we always have a great time.

Used Chamberlain Canoes to facilitate a Boy Scout outing with overnight camping on one of the islands in the Delaware. They are a professionally run outfit, very easy to deal with with good quality equipment. Highly recommend.

The staff was very friendly and informative. Didn't have to wait long for anything, although October is definitely not peak season, as lovely as it is in the fall. Price seems to be the norm for the area. The river itself wasn't too wild, so it was 99% relaxing and enjoying the view. I also like how there's little islands in the middle of the river you can stop by, as well as the coasts. There's some neat spots for that. Apparently someone else saw a black bear, but that's to be expected when you're in nature. Didn't come across that myself anyway. Although if I could make a suggestion, Lysol spray the life jackets please! Mine smelled sweaty.

Absolutely beautiful padding. Slow current, a few very small rapid areas. Perfect for beginners. The people were super nice while checking in and the directions for landmarks on their map we're spot on. And the price for a kayak for the day was extremely reasonable. I would definitely recommend this outfit.

The staff was very friendly and helpful, definitely made my first time kayaking experience very enjoyable. I was really just tagging along with my friends so I was pretty much relaxed, but the lack of organization of lines at their store just makes signing up a little complicated when it shouldn't be. Only other issue we ran into was after that 2 hour trip kayaking, we and people from other groups were already loaded up in the van but our driver was helping someone else load up their boats. I'm very patient for the most part, but other people who were already tired got even grumpier about having to wait. Maybe they had other places to go to, and I hope the staff/driver was more conscious of that too, as part of customer service.

He did a great job since it was a lot of us girls first time doing something like this. I highly recommend if you are staying in this area to go here. They will take care of you.

It was a great experience for my whole group. The process was seamless and we were in water in less than 30 minutes of reaching there. I got a small cut on my leg during the process but Billy was very helpful in every way he could be. Even the owner came to meet us in the end to see if we were doing all right. Great Business Ethics. Definitely would recommend to everyone.

Took a kayaking trip 14 miles down the Delaware with meetup group Chamberlain canoes had everything ready for us took us to the drop off site and were there within minutes to pick us up and return us to our cars. We spotted 4 Eagles on the trip but I was to slow getting to my camera

Nice place for beginners like me to try river rafting.its almost an still water and there wouldn't be any guide who comes along with you. They give you raft or canoe or tubes or kayaks of your choice and drop you at spot. They are two paths A -> B ( longer which takes 3hr , good for workout .. believe me ) and other is B -> C ( shorter and takes roughly 1.5hrs as they say.. because I went for longer one ) . Its not dangerous at all , the staff is always available on call. Yes , the Staff is very friendly and patient. They explain to you everything and answers all questions with patience. Happy Rafting to all.

We had a wonderful day on the Delaware. Chamberlain is conveniently located close to the i80 exit. Service was friendly for the most part, our pickup was brusque, let's say. All equipment was provided and there were no surprises. My only complaint is the selection of kayaks - very gp.

They do not honor their website prices. They claim that they could not update it since 2017, even though it is end of 2019 now. Otherwise nice canoes, kayaks and rafts like any other place around.

Really good place for first timers trying out river rafting, the water flow is not too heavy but good enough in patches between. Its more like cannoing. There is kayaking too. You can relax and enjoy your weekend with family and friends. The used the bigger raft for 8 people and it was quite big enough. We completed 4 miles rafting and it was really good experience as first timers.

It was $86 for two of us to canoe for a day, which was kind of an expensive outing. That is the only reason to drop it one star. I imagine that their prices are pretty competitive with other similar companies in the area. We went on a ten mile trip that took (including stops to eat and swim) about 4.5 hours. The best thing was that they told us when on our trip to call them so that someone would be there to pick us up as soon as we landed. We waited less than five minutes for the shuttle back. Our driver was very nice, and gave good pointers and interesting tidbits on both drives. They held our keys while we were out on the river. Definitely a good choice if you want to go out but do not have a canoe of your own. As a note, they do not provide anything to keep stuff dry. We just used a plastic bag, but if you want something fancier, bring it with you. Thanks for a great trip, Chamberlain Canoes.

Great customer service I was hesitant after reading some of the other reviews but found the five people we encountered to be pleasant, competent, and courteous. We rented four tubes and a cooler tube. The wind was against us so we had to paddle a bit at the beginning. It was definitely a slow ride and I was ready to be done before we reached the end which took over 4 hours. Rooky mistake that I didn't re-apply sunscreen during the trip. The river is aways within sight and sound of the highway but we saw tons of birds and wildlife. Don't forget water shoes and a hat that can get wet. River banks are either rocky or mucky

My wife and I took our boys (ages 6, 9, and 9) out on the river for the first time in a canoe and a tandem kayak and they loved it. Everyone at Chamberlain was patient with us at the rental shop, friendly throughout, and the equipment was great. We brought a picnic lunch from a place nearby called Village Farmer and Bakery. Very good too (old school... they sliced from a loaf of homemade white for my son's pbj, and they had great homemade donuts, muffins, cookies, etc.). Highly recommend Chamberlain and will use them again next year.
