I highly suggest booking with Debbie at Beach Monkey Travel. After talking with other travelers we realized things she took care of that other travel agents didn’t take care resulting in negative experiences for them. She thinks of everything that we would not have to ensure a fun and relaxing time away. We had a wonderful time on our vacation and it fit our needs/interests perfectly. Just wanted to share an amazing customer service experience I had with Debbie at Beach Monkey Travel, Travel Agency. I booked a trip with Debbie back in January and it was the first time I've ever used her services. I must say I was impressed from the gate and the process since has been simple and seamless until a personal situation arose the other day. I wasn't sure what to expect when I called but what I got was Travel Agent turned friend. She listened with a sympathetic ear, offered advice and options and literally fixed my issue in one day. She bent over backwards to help me and ensure the trip I booked is special. This kind of customer service does not come around often, so I felt sharing my appreciation was the best way to thank her. If you’re thinking about booking a trip, I highly recommend starting here.

We booked a bachelorette party using her and have had consistent problems with everything. She didn't get half of the group's information right (DOB, name, etc) so the flight information is wrong and she has yet to respond to anyone and confirm if it has been updated (this was months ago at this point). When trying to make payments, the payments either don't come out at all or come out in a different amount. Several of us have contacted her multiple times to get this sorted and she never responds. We then get an email saying total payment is due in 10 days and we're still waiting on those payments to actually get processed. Truly an awful experience.

Debby was very helpful. She gave us personal service and really knew the area that we were traveling to. We had problems with our tickets based on an oversight by the venue, but Debby kept meticulous records and knew who she had talked to. That was very helpful in getting the issue resolved, which Debby helped with.

I worked with Debbie for my destination wedding and it was more than disappointing. Everything luckily worked out but she made the process very stressful for me and my guests. My biggest complaint is that she was rude to my guests especially those who had many questions as first time travelers. If I could change one thing about our wedding, I would have booked everything myself or went with another travel agent. She may be able to handle smaller trips but weddings seem to be too overwhelming for her even with a party of 25. I personally would not recommend beach monkey travel to anyone :(

Requested quotes for my honeymoon via FB messgae and after a short conversation, determined it was too early to get a quote for hotel AND flight bc flight prices were not available yet. She said she would get back in touch with me when they became available. She never did so I messaged her again and was ignored for 2 weeks. Remessaged her thinking maybe she just didnt see it and she finally messaged back and assured me that she would send me quotes when she go back into her office that evening. Those quotes never came. It must be great to make so much money that you just ignore or blow off business. I booked through another travel agency and will not be asking for any service from BMT again.
