AAA is great. If you have a membership, ( I have the Premier One), you can take advantage of so many perks and ways to use your card. My husband had to get original photos taken for working in NJ for the union, and the photos were free. Pleasant employees and very helpful.

You're always looking for a honest and dependable mechanic well then this is the place. I've been going here since they opened up and they do great work at fair prices. They go over everything with you before they start. This way you have no surprises when you come to pick up your vehicle. They also will drop you off at home (as long as you're not more than eight miles away) while they work on your car and then pick you back up when it's done. I definitely love my AAA service care team.

They messed up my car registration, asked me to come back to pay more, and then accidentally had my title sent to my house instead of my bank. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else! They don’t know what they are doing here!!! Update: 1-18- manager called me- confirmed everything is taken care of with penndot. at least they followed up! Something to be said for that from a customer service perspective

Certainly understand car care can take time but 2hrs to change oil & fix rear tail lights? Truth be told 2hrs to get the car in the bay. AAA stick to towing & coupon books. I did not heed warnings but you SHOULD! If ur goal is to needlessly waste time, overpay for below basic service,& be treated like dog pooh in the soles of shoes.....this is the place for YOU. Read their canned responses to bad reviews showing exactly how the handle their business! If your business is to fix problems but all you do is create them, change you business

Specifically called and said I didn't have a camera card because I misplaced it, and the woman on the phone assured me I could still renew my license here. I asked what I needed to bring and she said just my old driver's license, but upon arriving, I was told I'd have to go to Granite Run or Island Ave because I didn't have my camera card. Let's try to make sure all associates know the policy to avoid wasting people's time.

Called the day before to make appointment for 2 headlamps since 1 burnt out. Asked for a morning appt. but was told they were booked but set the appt. for noon. It is now 1:30 and the girl informed med that there are cars ahead of me and they did not have appts. And they will get to my car when they get to it. Kicker just informed bulbs not in stock and will take another 10 minutes to get the bulbs even though they had my car make the day before and 1 1/2 hour ago to wait to check inventory. Lots of other places to go.

I went in for Notary Services, and had done everything wrong(already signed, etc.). EVERYONE in the place was Pleasant, Helpful, and Friendly. The Lady who served us just walked us through what needed doing without Judgement. We mentioned going to Hawaii, and while we payed, she went in the back, and got us a Map and a Guide! This is our First Choice for Services, as we have NEVER had an Unpleasant experience here!

Mixed reviews. The front desk staff is extremely nice and helpful, but I've taken my car twice for the same issue and both times the master mechanic was unavailable and then this time they actively tried to talk me OUT of getting the problem fixed. Very strange for a business to turn down a $1,000+ job. So, as a AAA office for AAA stuff and tag/title services it's great, for actual in depth mechanic stuff not so much.

Do not recommend.... My truck broke down my belt broke and it overheated so I. called AAA and the customer service Rep suggested my local AAA auto repair .. I never used them for repair but she said they guarantee their work so I thought I would give it a try. They had my truck for 6 days which I had to call several time to see when it would be done .. the repair was over $550 .. we take the truck and within two weeks the temp Gage would go to hot and then come down the truck wouldn’t over heat but this was a issue we didn’t have prior to them fixing the truck. So I called them and scheduled for it to be looked at because if the guarantee I spoke to Jim We agreed that he would look at the truck to determine if the new issue was related to the repair he mentioned a diagnostic fee and I said why would I need to pay if your checking to see if the problem was related to the repair he said the he would then have it looked at and call me when he called me and he told me that it wasn’t related (which I believe it is) he told be it was my engine and it would cost of getting a new engine so I said no that we would pick up the truck and decide what to do . When I went to pick up the truck I was told by Doug that I owed $118 for diagnostic test that they ran I explained what Jim told me and he said that this is the way it is . This is bull crap and scamish so be ware. Because that is not what was agreed on and they will basically always get alert 118 plus per car because they can alway day it not related so the guarantee is not covered. I don’t t ever write reviews but I feel that this was wrong and don’t want them to do this to anyone else. I will be not renewing my AAA Premier membership and will tell all family and friends to do the Same..

I made an appointment over a week in advance to have 4 new tires mounted and balanced. I purchased the tires along with new valves from Tire Rack. This AAA service center was listed as a local tire installer on the Tire Rack website. Most of the reviews were favorable. My appointment was at 9:30 on a Saturday morning. I arrived 5 minutes early and was told that one of their mechanics called out sick, so it would take a little longer. The car went up on the rack at 10:10. The car didn't come down off the rack until 11:50. I was told ahead of time that they may not be able to program the new TPMS sensors to the car. Turns out, they couldn't. By the time they processed the bill and I paid the bill, it was 12:10. I have to admit that the bill for mounting and balancing, and disposing of the old tires was reasonable. But the time it took to do the work was excessive. I have waited much shorter times when showing up without an appointment at other locations. Also, I'm not sure why I was charged $18 for new valve stems on new valves, unless the new valves were supplied without the stems. I didn't realize that until I got home and looked at the receipt. I have been to this location to book travel, utilize their notary services, and pick up travel brochures. That side of the business has always been top notch. I don't think I'll be going back for any automotive service.

I am very apprehensive about this Saturday..Letting you all change my oil and Inspection.I just Had the windshield replaced..I Made an on line appointment and will follow up with phone call On Tuesday march 20th. Don't go, you go for a car inspection where the previous day I spoke with the head technician, giving me a price about state inspection and possible changing 4 tires just because I wanted,and next day they come with different price and things they say needed to be replaced in order to pass the inspection. I asked to see these parts while my car was still up the elevated fork and when I gave a glance I realized they were trying to cheat assuming I didn't know anything about the parts. I'm a AAA member and I feel offended. I'm going to buy these tires next shop wich is on the same road few yards ahead.

They helped me with my property needs. I had the insurance on auto pay. The insurance company said that they didn't get paid. Then they sent out an inspector. He inspected garage roof from the garden. He was picky how the 3 steps on the garage roof where no one goes require a handrail. It require special handrail. Anyway they dropped me, they didn't want me back. Now I had the payments on auto pay. The only way they wouldn't get paid would be they didn't sent the payment request to the bank. I call about my status of my car. He ask wait a minute. I was put on for perpetual hold. I called back after about 5 mins, it was someone else. He too asked me to wait a min. I wasn't going to do another perpetual hold after waiting a couple minutes. I called back again, & a woman answered. I put told her I was on perpetual hold twice. She put me on hold for a minute. When she came back shortly, she stated unprofessionaly someone is working on it & hung up.

AAA care is a total ripoff. I dropped my car off to see why the service engine light was on. They charged $130 just to run a diagnostic test. They then stated it would cost $1700 to make the repairs. I got a second opinion at Springfield Ford, not only was the diagnostic test complimentary, the cost for repairs was only $300. Wow AAA thanks for perpetuating the trope of the dishonest, thieving mechanic.

Went in to patch a tire, they failed to tell me they would inspect my car, made me wait 2 hours before giving me a heads up. After 2 hours they said they'd get my car right out (after only scheduling for a patch in my tire), took another hour to actually get my keys. $30 to patch a tire. Which ended up going flat the next day. Called the complain and was told that "I probably ran over something on the way home" from their store. Absolutely disgusting how poor this place handles customers.

I made an appointment for 1pm on a Thursday to have my air conditioning recharged. When I dropped it off the customer service person said it would only take a few hours and they would call me with updates if there were leaks in the system. At 6pm I still hadn't heard back so I called and she said it still wasn't done. The store closed at 7 so I went over there to pick up, waited until they were locking the doors to close and my car was finally done. When I got home I noticed that my back window would not roll all the way up and that they had jammed it in place with a piece of cardboard and duct tape! My car is old, so I'm not blaming them for the window breaking, but it broke while they had it and they didn't bother to tell me, just halfassed fixed it. Of course the store was closed for the night so I couldn't take it back immediately to have it fixed. They said they would jam it for free but I'm never going back there. So dishonest and awful.

I called today to ask about getting my Mazda inspected, but have been on hold for 45 minutes and no one has even answered the phone. Terrible customer service this weekend. The customer service was awful. The morning manager at the Clifton Heights Store needs sensitivity training. He was rude, did not try to resolve my issue and didn't give eye contact. I was made to feel like I didn't matter. I came in on 6/5/2019 to pick my car up after getting some work done to it. The store computers crashed during my visit. They couldn't accommodate me by giving a discount or incentive for having to wait until the computer came back up to accept my payment. I came before going to work with a ride who had went on because I was picking my car up or so I thought. Then he tells me the work that was done was $545. I was quoted $470 the evening before when I called in. When I denied some of the work that was done without my permission he put my keys back in the work pocket and said well, "You will have to wait until the technician gets here and the computer comes back up which my take all day. And then he walked away. I shouted call me when you figure it out. Nonetheless I got my car back around 3:30 today verses 8:30 when I was at the store this morning. Even this afternoon he didn't give me eye contact. He just showed papers at me.

I use this location for my car inspection annually and for travel information. The staff is always friendly and attentive. They need improvement on responding to online appointment requests. Every time I've used their online request I never hear a response and end up calling them anyway. Their hours are open later than other nearby AAA Auto Centers.

I needed my State Photo ID and did not want to go all the way to Media which was a full-service center. AAA is located on Baltimore Pike in Springfield which is more convenient when you are pressed for time. It was a quick process no waiting since they have several representatives standing by for service. Everyone was very friendly and helpful and provided me with the service I need. There is an extra cost you pay to have your license or photo ID done there. However it beats standing in the long lines at the DMV. I would recommend this place to my friends.

As a long time AAA customer I usually take my cars to the Clifton Heights location for state inspections and routine maintenance. Been doing that for years. I like the fat that I could make an appointment, wait for the work to be done, and be out of there in a normal amount of time. This all changed today! I made an appointment a week in advance for Friday at 11:00 AM. I checked in at 10:45 for state & emission inspection, oil change, and battery check. The car didn't get into the bay until 12:15 PM. So much for appointments. The mechanic worked on the car until 1:30 or so and I could see him going back and forth between my car and someone else's car. Then nothing! At 2:30 PM the service underwriter comes back to tell me that I needed a battery replacement ( which I was going to do anyway) and recommended some other service and told me I had a flat spare tire but she didn't know if the tire just needed air or needed to be repaired. She also informed me that the oil change was not done either. So now I'm three hours in and I got the inspection done. I declined the work they recommended, including the battery. Since the service was so horrible I wasn't going to wait any longer. A woman waiting with me waited over two hours for a light bulb replacement so I wasn't about to wait any longer. Upon checking out I told the cashier that the oil change was not done and she should remove the charge from the bill. The service underwriter was sitting next to her and corrected me saying that she "wasn't sure if the oil change was none", which is not what she told me in the waiting room. The cashier called the service manager who told her the oil change was, in fact, completed. In the three hours I was there this "manager" pretty much ate lunch and did nothing to speed up the work being done. Not sure what happened to this place in the last year or so but I will not be back!

DO NOT go there for inspection or fixing your car even if you are a member! You will be overcharged. They wanted to charge me $141 to replace two tail light bulbs after inspection or they wouldn't let me pass. I bought the bulbs for $5 from advanced auto parts and replaced them within 5 minutes myself. By the way, they also mentioned they wanted to charge me $70 for a connector which does not exist.

Short story: I waited four hours, and they still had not serviced my car yet. Long story: I booked my appointment a week in advance for an oil change and inspection. I dropped my car off, and the front desk said it would take 2 hours. Two hours go by. At three hours, I went back to the place and noticed my car was in the same place where I parked it. I asked the front desk, and the man I spoke to earlier said they had not gotten to my car yet. I waited another hour, and then I decided to pull my car without getting serviced because they would not have been able to finish the service by the end of the business day. Never once did AAA notify me about the status of my car. First time and last time going for repairs here.

I went to renew my photo license today at the AAA center in Springfield since my old DOT center closed. It looked crowded but I took a ticket and sat down for only about 25 minutes. I can't tell you how nice the associate was who I believe works for the DOT. She was all by herself but was very efficient and had the most pleasant disposition. Thank you for providing this service AAA, I really appreciated not having to drive out to Granite Run location.

Im a premier member, my wife in me for a year now, they say you get all these benefits and discounts being a member, i tryed at least 12 times a hotels and restaurants and no savings at all, i booked a trip to Mexico, im leaving May 25th for my honeymoon, it was 4,600, i looked into other places and the same trip down to the t was 600 dollors cheaper, theres no way im renewing my membership the end of this month, i never used and of the services like towing or anyting like that and another this im so pissed about i get mail from them everydat trying to sell me more stuff, i paid extra to be a premier member and it was a waste, i dont recommended them

Recently moved to the area, and chose this AAA to try out for my inspection and some minor work that needed to be done. Called and left voicemails 3 times over the span of Wednesday-Sunday, never got a call back. Monday evening I called and reached a woman who was taking messages for someone in car care to call me back, instead I spoke with someone live which took about 10 minutes on hold. Was told I’d have to wait at least a week to drop my car off, and they may or may not be able to get it in the day or drop off. My car sat in my driveway for over a week until they had an opening to drop it off, and then it sat at the shop for 2 days before I called them to ask why I hadn’t heard anything. Turns out they started working on my car, had left voicemails on a phone number that wasn’t listed in my file, and then told me that it would be over 3k to fix. I asked them to stop work on it immediately so that I could pick it up and take it elsewhere, when I arrived they told me that they weren’t sure “quite what work was done to it” but I was charged for an inspection, oil change, tire balancing, and labor (all without my consent and then not knowing what was done to my car). I drove over an hour to take it to my original AAA, who got my appointment in the same day, and started work on it (that cost under half the estimate I was given here).

Was told after diagnostics that required part replacement and awaited part to be ordered, returned for placement and then told that lamp may require continued frequent replacement because another part and now told that the only way to fix was a total replace of headlight costing couple of hundred $$. After paying for diagnostics why wasn’t I told that in the first place? seems they were able to find all kinds of other things.

The people at this place are a bunch of liars. I’m a member and they tried to cheat me by telling me something needed to be done that was just done a year ago. If they’ll try to cheat one of their own members they’ll try to cheat anyone. So be careful. On top of that the service here sucks and the business isn’t managed well at all.
