During the recent teacher walkout Village faithfully, and graciously transported countless educators, support staff, and families to and from the state capitol. My family and I never had to wait long to be picked up and offered friendly service and a comfortable seat, and we were taken directly to the steps of the Capitol where everything was happening. I still cannot believe their commitment to our state's children. While others were pushing against us, they were standing (or driving) with us. I will ALWAYS go to Village first for my charter bus needs!

We had a great time on the WWI Museum Tour. It was just a 2 day trip, but every detail was planned carefully. We had a mix-up on our room, but the hotel manager was exceptionally professional and pleasant in dealing with the problem. The coach was comfortable. We had water and snacks provided during our travel time. We will definitely travel with Village Tours again!

I have been chartering buses for our skating team for 10 years and I have to say that my experience with Village Tours was one of the best. Our driver, Ed, was fantastic - helpful, personable, cared about our athletes and came to watch them compete, and managed to get us everywhere we needed to be on time. The bus was also of top quality. If we come back to KS, we'll definitely call on Village Tours again.

Took the bus up to KC Worlds of Fun for an Eight Grade Grad party. Very enjoyable not have to drive and letting someone else navigate the KC traffic. The bus was very comfortable and our driver was very courteous and friendly. Being able to ride and not having to drive a bunch of giggly girls, bonus.

Last Sat 11/5/16 the bus driver on Village Tours bus number 201 was drenched in cologne. It was rude and inconsiderate of him it made all around him physically ill. I f he can not bathe and instead must drench himself in over powering scent he should not be allowed to ruin the evening of those on the bus and surronding him at the event

The prices for single are too high I would say. Its like you are bring punished for not having a partner. I could see maybe 50.00 difference. Higher than that us to much.

We went to Alaska on a cruise with Village Tours in 2009. We were generally very pleased with all the arrangements. The places they took us to eat were of good quality and the accommodations were satisfactory. With other travel companies, we have been directed to places where we were a captive audience to be given sales pitches for everything from jewelry to time-shares. That was not the case with Village Tours -- they respected the tact that we were paying customers. A nice feature with Village Tours in Wichita is their fenced lot for parking while you are on tour. In our case, we only rode their bus the short distance from that lot to the airport, but it was nice to know that the lot was more protected than the parking at the airport, and there was no charge for it.. In all cases, the employees of Village Tours were courteous and accommodating. We are now planning another tour with them in the fall.

The Kansas Lions International Band just returned from Chicago, where they marched in the Lions International Centennial Parade. Our driver Brian Stovall did an outstanding job. 100% dedicated to our needs and desires, made the trip a huge success. We could not have hand picked a better driver and now a dear friend. Our trip was wonderful and without incident. The bus was clean, spacious and had wifi. I found the entire staff at Village Tours extremely accommodating and answered all my questions with patience and tact. The traffic going to the solar eclipse was much lighter than we expected so we reached the destination without incident. Unfortunately, the traffic was much heavier on our return to Wichita. Our driver, Matt Jacobs, kept abreast of driving conditions and altered the route home so our group didn’t face the hours of delay which would have occurred on our planned route. Matt was more than pleasant and we enjoyed his company tremendously!!

Their drivers, buses and service are top notch! They definitely go above and beyond the call of duty. I accidentally left my cellphone on the bus. I left a message with the home office Friday night, March 15. I received a call from the OKC office on Saturday morning, first to say they didn't fund it. However, a couple hours later Cheryl called me back to say that did find my phone (was using my wife's phone). When we returned from our travels today, Caesar the driver offered to take me to the office to find my phone and drive me back to the hotel. I now have my phone back and can travel home safely and happily in a few days.

Can’t say that we have had the pleasure of actually touring with Village Tours, but feel the need to post this review. Two days after making our final payment for an upcoming tour we had booked, we learned that my mother in law was diagnosed with stage 4 ovarian cancer. We called Village Tours and explained our dilemma. They immediately gave us the information we needed to contact the company we purchased our travel insurance policy with. Long story short, we received a full refund. Says a great deal about Village Tours and the insurance carrier they choose to do business with. Look forward to touring with them in the future.

The buses are comfortable, clean, and visually appealing. They also have power outlets on each of the seats, and even small TV screens hanging down in different places throughout the bus. You are able to play movies on them for the whole bus, which can provide some much needed entertainment for long drives if you are traveling. The WiFi did not seem to fully work however, and provided no internet access when connected to.
