Literally, tried to embarrass & disrespect us in public. Loved the horse, that i was told i would get to meet (but I didnt get to meet). I was hoping for a completely happy unforgettable memory and they attempted to ruin it. First & VERY UNFORTUNATELY LAST TIME ever riding a carriage with this business. Bless those pretty horses though ❤ (really wish i got to at least meet the horse, i think his name was Scinder. But i guess ill never know because of his rude owners)

Marylou was great and her horse Scott was beautiful! She easily accommodated our need to reschedule and was so kind! My 4 year old had a princess party and the Cinderella carriage was a HUGE hit! All the girls are still talking about it! Highly recommend!!!

We enjoyed our Carriage Ride with Mary Lou, and of course her horse Scott. We were celebrating my mother's Birthday. She is so nice and very informative about downtown OKC. She was so great to work with, we had to cancel our date to ride twice because of health and weather conditions and she was so wonderful to reschedule for me. I highly recommend Bright Star and hope to get the opportunity to use them again in the future.

We got our 3 year old daughter dressed up in a beautiful princess dress and surprised her with a carriage ride with this wonderful company! Not only was this a beautiful experience for our whole family, but the owner was so nice and great with our daughter! He let her pet the horse, and was very friendly all around! This was a fantastic experience for us, and we will definitely be using their services for other important memories in the future :)

Bright Star did an outstanding job. I was proposing to my girlfriend. They were very helpful, adjusting the route and time to meet our needs. They were friendly and created an enjoyable atmosphere. Whether it's for a fun evening or an important event, I would highly recommend Bright Star Carriages.

This is a great horse carriage ride in Bricktown OKC. John & Marylou are super nice....they even took pictures of my husband and I on the beautiful princess carriage for me. I also love the fact that they take very good care of their animals. I asked if it was hard on their horse to walk on the pavement all evening. They told me that they have padded horseshoes on him so it is like humans wearing tennis shoes. They also said that they only work on Friday & Saturday nights so not to overwork the horses. I also loved that they have a little dog, Rio, riding up top. They will even let Rio ride with you if you want him too. So, it is a wonderful ride on a beautiful carriage through Bricktown & downtown, with no animal abuse.

I used Bright Star Carriages for an engagement. Mary-Lou was outstandingly flexible with me when it came to crummy weather on the ask day. She was more than willing to allow me to move the booking. Mary-Lou & her husband answered all of the questions I had very well and were so easy to work with to make the experience everything both myself & significant other could have wished for. If you are looking for a company to book with either just for a stroll around OKC or for a specific occasion, I would highly recommend this company.

Not the experience we were looking for! Very bad experience. We made an online reservation to be picked up at a specific location. We waited 10 min after the pick up time and then called her. She had forgot our reservation and said she would be there in 10min. Once in the carriage she told us she had another job and would drop us (2 females with two small children) off at a restaurant and pick us up but she did not know exactly when. It was dark and cold out. After we showed displeasure, her partner said we would get a refund and they arranged for another carriage company to take us back. She called me, she was rud, very aggressive in tone and blamed us... She did say she would refund me (I have yet to get the refund so I disputed with my credit card)... The kicker... She gave a stranger my cell phone number with out my permission and they called me. I have know idea what they wanted because I hung up. This woman is unbelievably unprofessional and a complete disappointment.

Tried to make a reservation, was never contacted until the day AFTER the event and told her the event was past and I would not need her services. She was not rude but very unprofessional and said to just text her if I needed anything. Almost a month later, I start getting all these calls from her. Someone else had apparently made a reservation for the upcoming weekend and it was the only number she apparently had. When I informed her I was not the person she was requesting and she did not have the right phone number, she continued to call three more times. When I called back after a voice mail, she told me I had to have done something wrong and I was the one who didn't know how to make reservations correctly. Even though I won't be wanting a carriage anytime soon, I would definitely never use this company/individual.

My boyfriend had to reschedule our carriage ride multiple times because of a winter storm and Marylou was wonderful! She worked with us and we were able to have a perfect carriage ride through downtown OKC for our Christmas date. And the carriage is absolutely beautiful! I would definitely recommend!
