The bus service is decent given the price point. The station, if you can call it that, is just a spot on the curb adjacent to the durham bus station. There are no covering or shelter anywhere, so when it's raining/snowing/freezing, you have to wait out in the open with your luggage in tow.

They have the worst customer service, & there is always something wrong with their buses. But for those cheap rates what can you expect?

The pick up/drop off description says outside the Transportation Center but in reality, it's the back of the building on a hill with a tiny sign right at the place where the bus actually stops which is anything but ideal @ 3:20 in the morning while it's raining cats and dogs. On the top of that the driver was rude, hardly spoke a word, only murmuring and because of our bags were normal check in ones, not small(er) carry ons he just pointed towards the luggage area of the bus indicating that we should put our luggages on the bus ourselves. Very professional. W⚓

MegaBus has always gotten me where I need to go and on time. It's not the most glamorous way to travel, but it is efficient and cost effective. With the new seating arrangements and boarding processes, it feels a bit more secure too. I would recommend traveling by MegaBus if you're not opposed to saving a buck.

Service is good, and they run on schedule... but wifi works on some buses and not on others, and their stop in Durham is just the side of the street... even at 3am.
