Great family trip. After travelling through the desert, the cold caverns are a marvel. There's also a bat colony that visitors can see fly in at dusk, & out at daybreak. Be ready to walk. Wear non-skid shoes, the trails are slippery, & take a sweater.

Awesome cave. Extremely well kept. Please help keep it that way when you visit. Cave is constant 58 degrees but with all the walking a coat is not necessary. Cave is well lit but a flashlight can be useful in some areas.

This is not the cave it is the administrative offices, they will answer questions about the cave though during business hours. Go to 727 National Parks Highway to visit the caverns.

This place is so cool. Worth the soreness the next day if you don't exercise. We saw what seemed like thousands and thousands of bats fly out of their cave. Its just a beautiful place to visit.

Nice place to visit. I would advise not to go after 4 p.m. You will be in line for more than an hour trying to leave after the tour.

Just an amazing experience. For sure do the walk through the natural entrance. We went in November and fewer people so was really nice. You must be there before 3 PM if you want to go down in the caverns. Last trip down is at 3:15. Park will close at 5. Enjoy

Only went in the Gift Shop as ALL 4 Elevators were out of order and won't be up and running till end of May. Was NOT going to walk down the steep and winding trail.

I have visited the caverns several times and it still amazes me. You can watch the bats leave the caverns at night and take tours of the caverns.

A jewel in the heart of America. As you walk down 78 stories, your mind will have a hard time grasping how big the caves are. I have been twice and loved it, and saw something new each time. I plan to return. Wear tennis shoes with good traction and just a Tshirt or you’ll be carrying your jacket by the end. Well maintained and friendly knowledgeable park rangers. Would be fun for the whole family. Don’t worry, there are elevators to take you back to the surface at the end ;)
