Now that we’re back home from our two week trip to Poland, Hungary and Austria, I want to give a big thank you to JayWay Travel for putting together an awesome vacation for our group that was customized to our specific wishes. However, the biggest debt of gratitude goes to Judit Holp, our Central European Destination Manager in Budapest, who worked directly with me to set up all our air travel and transfers, hotel accommodations, intercity limo and train travel, dinner reservations and tour bookings. Without her assistance, everything wouldn’t have gone as smoothly as it did and we wouldn’t have been able to see as much as I have previously posted on Facebook. Thanks again Judit.

Everything about JayWay is above and beyond what I hoped for. Our trip from Budapest, Vienna, Prague, and Berlin was fabulous -- great hotels, stressfree transfers, fabulous tours in each city. And our contact person - Norbert - made a great vacation even better! I recommend them to everyone and will use them again as soon as I can.

I cannot tell you how great our trip to Croatia was with all the work that JayWay advisors Carmine and Pavla did. Everything went as planned, hotels, tours, transfers and even the weather. For my husband and myself it is well worth the cost to have everything taken care of. Even when our initial flight to Frankfurt was delayed 5 hours here in Denver, it was a relief to send Pavla, in Split, an email letting her know of our new arrival time. She greeted us at our hotel at 11PM and went over all the details of our week stay in Croatia. For us JayWay was and will be our travel advisors for trips to Europe.

I recently used Jay Way Travel to arrange my European vacation with my wife. I had originally contacted Jay Way over 1 year ago and about 4 months ago made the decision to travel to Prague, Berlin, Kraków and Budapest. Once I decided on the above European cities to visit, Jay Way Travel provided me with a rough itinerary. Upon receipt of the itenary I was able to pick the specific hotels and tours I wanted. When they send you the information they provide information such as recommended tours, restaurants and local currency and where to get the best exchange rate. In the initial stages I dealt with Jared a local representative I believe was located in New York. About 1 month before the vacation I was put in contact with my local representative in Prague. I was assigned to Martina who spoke perfect English. Upon my arrival in Prague she agreed to meet us at our hotel. Martina provided us any documents we would need for any tours or shows. Martina also provided us a local cell phone with a charger. The phone was only for use in Europe and had Martina’s phone number programmed into the phone. At all locations the tour driver and tour guide were always on time or early. In Prague we had the nicest driver, Adrien and tour guide Lenka. At one of the tours in Prague I requested a wheelchair due to a bad back. Both Adrien and Lenka assisted my wife in carrying the wheelchair up some stairs. Please note Europe is not as wheelchair friendly as in the United States. At our hotel in Prague the bed is called a “Hastings Bed”. On the desk was a book all about that bed. While that bed may be comfortable for most people my wife who doesn’t have a bad back woke up every morning in pain. I woke up every morning in extreme pain. Again the “Hastings Bed” might be fine for most people, that bed was not comfortable for us. I called Martina who made sure none of the remaining hotels had that specific bed. All the hotels I picked were within walking distance to the city center with lots of restaurants and shopping and tourist sites to visit. On every tour I picked you are given 48-72 hours to cancel with no charge. I did cancel one tour and I was informed my credit card would be refunded. Since I was informed today 5/6/19 I don’t know yet if the credit was refunded. I do expect the charge will be refunded. Jay Way Travel also arraigned two local flights on regional airlines to save time, instead of spending 6-7 hours on a train. Overall I was impressed by the service Jay Way Travel provided. By using Jay Way Travel they made the planning and actual trip easier. Every person associated with Jay Way Travel in Europe were extremely nice and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend Jay Way Travel and would not hesitate to use them again.

Amazing job planning our first trip to Italy. Elisa made sure everything went exactly the way we wanted and checked in regularly to ensure everything was going well. It is just how I do it when we travel.

This is a great service, for travel to Croatia if you’re inclined to semi independent travel experiences. The provide great info and recommendations and then let you fashion your own trip. Then they offer accommodations at various price points that you select. They arrange all in country travel and provide a private guided tour in each location when you arrive. Best of all when you arrive you have an “in country” contact person who meets with you the first day and orients you and provides a simple flip phone that you can use in country for calls and contacting your contact person for any help or advice you need. The young woman we had Ivana was a delightful person and was readily available when contacted, not just for problems (weren’t any) but for advice or help setting things up. Prices for the overall trip were very reasonable by European standards, while some of the side trips they offered seemed a bit high but not anything too bad. I really can’t say enough good about this company. Reliable, reasonable and a great way to see Croatia

JayWay made it extremely easy for my daughter and I to experience Eastern Europe for the first time. From hotels, to flights, to trains to ferries to guides and drivers... all ran smoothly. When things went wrong (NONE their fault) they were able to immediately fix them or refund them. (For example weather cancelling a tour etc.).

We traveled for three weeks this Fall, using Jayway's itinerary in Budapest, Slovenia, and Croatia. They selected our 3 star apartment accommodations, arranged our rental car, bought our ferry and train tickets, arranged drivers for transfers and wonderful local agents who gave us maps and were available any time to answer questions and meet our needs. We are not tour people, but we often used their recommendations for dining and places to see, and their web site for highlights along our route, currency and tipping . We travel may times a year all over the world, and have never used a travel agency or tour company. What a delightful relaxing experience this was! Jayway works as a coordinated team. You won't believe it until you put yourself in their hands, We do a lot of Asian and Latin American travel as well as Europe, and I wish Jayway were available all over the world! Fantastic way to travel! We went to Croatia in July of 2017. The planning was all done for us. I gave them an idea of my interests, and dates, and they did all the hard work, on relatively short notice. All of their recommendations for restaurants were superb!! The accommodations were awesome, and we saw places we never would have seen. They arranged the car rental, the boat transfers, everything for us. My son says it was the best European trip we have ever taken!!! Cannot wait to go with them again! Next stop, Italy

This a a long overdue review of Jay Way Travel. My husband and I booked a trip to Croatia with them in June/July. It was just superb!!! We were treated like royalty the entire time we were enjoying the gorgeous country of Croatia. Every pickup, tour, day excursion, ferry trip was flawless! It seriously was one of the best trips of our lives. Thanks so much to Antonija , who was our amazing ambassador in-country and to Carmine Matarazzo who planned our stay. My group consisted of 4 people with age range from late 50s and mid 70s. We wanted to visit Balkan Peninsula over two-week period and did not want change the hotel every night. We also wanted easy - moderately strenuous activities for two days and take the third day off for leisurely rest. Based on my wishes and restrictions, JayWay Travel's US agent, Nico Piccoletti, came up with an itinerary to cover five places of sleeping arrangements but covering eight major tour spots. As my thoughts and wishes changed over time, he subsequently worked on various revisions on the travel plan quickly and patiently. He made me comfortable in all my communications with him via emails and telephone calls. While JayWay's information was a lot to digest, he arranged the information efficiently so that I could easily locate anything that I needed. When I landed in Dubrovnik, a driver waited for us at the airport and drove us to the hotel in no time. Local consultant, Ivana Laca, was waiting for us at the first hotel and went over the itinerary patiently again. She also prepared a local phone for me to use during the 14-day trip along with maps of all places that we were to visit in the following days. In addition, she kindly marked on the maps all the hotels and the restaurants with reservations. In the ensuing 13 days, Ivana was reachable by phone any time of the day. She even called me twice to make sure all travel plans were going well. JayWay Travel's team are knowledgeable, professional, kind, and patient. Providing expert services, they made our trip to the unknown places totally enjoyable and easy. I recommend JayWay Travel to everyone!

My husband and I just returned from a 15 day trip through Eastern Europe and we Highly Recommend Jayway Travel. Both of our travel coordinators, Kevin in NY and Martina in Prague, were excellent. All of our hotels were beautiful boutique hotels offering top notch service and incredible breakfast spreads. We enjoyed every one of our tours (with superb guides) and really appreciated the professional drivers we had our entire trip. Prague, Cesky Krumlov, Salzburg, Vienna and Budapest were all excellent destinations and ones I would highly recommend. Martina went above and beyond in helping us retrieve the 35mm camera we left in Prague and shipping it to us in Vienna just in time for us to take it on our private tour. Service beyond compare!
