Not impressed. My family and I took the Grand Canyon tour with this company and felt ripped off at the end. We booked the tour over the phone and were told that we would be picked up at 7:30 in the morning. At 4:00AM the day of our tour, we received a phone call from Gray Line telling us that we would be picked up at 6:00 that morning. Not very impressed outright. We later found out that this was only for us to be brought to a central building where the employees tried to upsell us on various expensive options. We didn't feel this time waster was necessary, seeing that it would be a 3 hour drive to the Canyon. Over the phone, we were also promised free water on the bus, so we did not bring water. At the central building, we were told that this was not true and had to buy Gray Line's overpriced water. We were split into 2 different buses and driven out to the canyon. On our bus were many different levels of customers - people who had purchased the helicopter tour, people who had purchased the Hummer and Jeep tours, etc. The helicopter tour was scheduled to depart from the Grand Canyon airport at 1:25pm, but the bus only arrived at 1:15pm. Though we were not part of this tour, the people who were were rushed into the airport because the bus was late. This became a theme for the rest of the tour - everything was very rushed because of all the different tours on board. Explanations from the driver were confusing at best. We had paid for the IMAX movie at the visitor center and initially told that we would be able to have lunch before watching the movie, but the bus was late and arrived just before the movie was starting, forcing us to have lunch while watching the movie. By the time the movie was over, it was time to leave - no time for anything else. On the phone and on the website, we were promised three hours at the Grand Canyon. By the time we reached the canyon, the driver told us that we would have two hours and 15 minutes at the canyon and referred to the 15 minutes as "extra time." We felt that we were shorted almost a full hour of time at the canyon - we could have done a lot more hiking. By the end of this, we felt very misled. To top it all off, we stopped at the Hoover Dam to switch drivers on the way back from the canyon. When that happened, passengers had to get on one of two buses depending on their hotels. The driver's explanation was again confusing. The new driver for our bus asked for tips again over the PA, though he had only driven us for the last hour or so. We had already tipped the first driver (for the main portion of the tour) so we were surprised but not thrilled by this. He even said that he would give us a "discount" from the recommended $10 per person tip. It is rare to see employees so brazenly asking for tips. Finally, WiFi on the bus did not work for the whole trip, and the lavatory door on the bus did not lock. Would not recommend this tour company. Avoid them and stick with Comedy on Deck Tours - they live up to their promises!

After getting picked up from hotel, and then spending the next 30 min picking up others from other hotels we were driven to the grayline office. Then we spent the next hour having to check in. Why could we not just get checked in on the bus as we boarded. They also overbooked so we were told that we cant load the bus to go on the tour unless some people volunteered to not go on the tour. No one volunteered so grayline rep looked at a piece of paper and called out a name. That party was told they could not go on the tour. The discussion started to get heated so they asked them to follow them so the rest of us could not hear. The Hoover dam time was too short to enjoy because of having to check in and go to some chocolate shops and waiting for driver to get back on bus. And the icing on the cake was the audio in the bus, the last statement was about tipping your driver. And the suggested tip was 5-10 dollars from each person on the bus. The bus holds about 50 - 60 people, what a payday for that driver. I need to be a bus driver.

Spent the extra money for VIP tour..very comfortable ride on a 10 passenger luxury van..our driver Tyler was great..very informative...

They did a good tour of the time of the Grand Canyon.

Great trip. Learned alot from our driver dewayne. Trip to was great. Trip home was not as comfortable as it seemed the a/c was not working as well. Followed all the safety advice. No one fell to their deaths. ...

Not Value for Money On arrival at the Grayline Depot we were herded into a room and offered extras. Our tour was the west rim which on my intinersry had the skywalk included. Apparently not. We paid an extra $25 each. Lining up for the bus we were asked for another $30 if we wanted to sit upstairs on the bus A staff member then strolled the line offering to only charge $20 directly to him. The actual Grand Canyon ground staff were very efficient. However at the skywalk were were asked not to take photos. The reason... they had paid photographers only. Our bus driver was very nice and informative. We understand he was under instruction and had no control, but pick up and drop offs to the hotels were too lengthy and could have been better organised. There were other disgruntled passengers who had other and the same issues with Grayline. So just be wary of the so called extras

The tour to the south rim was good and the guide Clare was great. However picup time was 0615 and we were left at the office of greyline. There there was a short introduction and about 1h min of wait in line before we could board the bus. We would have liked to see this process being more comfortable. At 6 am you are quite tired and standing in that line was not great. Because of that i would choose a different tour operator next time.

WARNING - 17 HOURS - horrible drop off schedule after tour, picked up at 5:45 am and left their center at 7:30 am for the tour. Tour itself and driver Ralph were great. Got back to Vegas at 9:00 PM and then endured 2 1/2 hrs of dropping off others (17 hotels) before finally getting close enough to my downtown hotel/casino to walk the rest of the way. They really need to get this drop-off situation under control. When I complained (the ad says 14 hrs) all they did was send me condescending emails. I would recommend going with a different tour company other than Grayline or renting a car and driving there yourself.

Best company to tour with! The staff is great, really helpful and they try to cheer you up all the time. Our driver uncle Russel was amazing, he kept telling us interesting facts about the city, the grand canyon and everywhere we were. They pick you up at the hotel and after the trip they take you back, although you can get down at any stop. I totally recommend it, it's a once in a lifetime experience!

Booked a tour to Grand Canyon South with Grey Line tours. It was a very bad experience. First of all they are not punctual at all. We had to first wait at the pick-up location and then in their bus center where we had a transit. Bus to Grand Canyon had very congested seats and it was too tiring. They played an extremely senseless movie on the way back with an extremely high volume. I was too tired, wanted to sleep but because of such a high volume i couldnt blink my eye. Additionally, before the tour started they claimed that there will be WiFi in the bus but when we were in the bus the driver made an announcement that WiFi is not available. Wow quite helpful eh?

We spent a lot of money to take the Platinum West Rim tour with helicopter and boat ride. The description made this sound like a wonderful trip so we booked it, liking the idea of a smaller coach and a little more "premium" tour. It was a 12 hr trip of bus ride, long waits everywhere and not being able to do everything listed in the description. We only got the helicopter and boat ride after experiencing very long waits at every turn. Lunch finally occurred at 3pm... Considering we had breakfast before 6am - that was a very long time! We didn't get to 2 of the other stops, including no skywalk opportunity. Out of the 12 hr ordeal, about 90 minutes of that was actually experience. My advice to those looking at this tour out of Las Vegas, for the same amount of money or LESS, take the 4 hr helicopter tour out of Las Vegas. We wasted a whole day of our vacation on this.

Craig Bates

Good tour guides buses untidy.

Jerome Espinosa Baladad

I like their service, considering all the troubles. They picked us up from near our hotel & brought us back much later in the day. They try to make it easier for you in more ways than one to have a great 15-hour day trip from Las Vegas Nevada to the Grand Canyon South Rim in Arizona. Tiresome trip but very much worth it, especially because given the time, we have accomplished much. I won't do such distance driving, as I know it's hard work. Kudos to our driver Ric ( I hope I recalled his name right). I will try to do the helicopter option next time with them.

Richard Martinez

The best company to take a tour of the Grand Canyon. They will take good care of you.

Allen DeGroat

Great driver's during tour.

Deven the bus driver was amazing. He was very friendly and went out of his way to make sure you had time to sightsee & take pictures. He kept a head count of the people on the bus making sure no one got left behind. Very knowledgeable and funny. Thanks Deven

We had 3 couples that went to the Hoover Dam Tour. Was told we would be back by 1:30, when we were picked up at 8:30. Had to switch to a bigger bus at the company which we were not told about. Should have done the same on the way back as waiting for everyone to unload one by one from all over the strip is quite time consuming. Also didn't need to stop at the Vegas sign on the way out. Purpose of the trip was Hoover Dam. All in all, didn't get back to our hotel until after 3:30. Very disappointed. The tour was great but the time at the dam was very condensed.

Mary Connor

We used Gray Line for both the Grand Canyon South Rim and Hoover Dam tours. The buses are double-decker and are perfectly clean, they all look brand new. The drivers are professional, knowledgeable and helpful. Gray Line provided a memorable vacation experience. Tremendous company !

Oumeya Kale

Took grey hound bus from LA to Vegas. Great experience. Clean buses

T Reimold

We all purchased tickets online and chose what tour we wanted. Why waste our time trying to upgrade people. The bus was an hour late, and we're wasting a lot of time standing in line for bracelets. Hope it gets better.

Ruben Davila

Professional driver and tour company. Our drivers name for the actual tour was Felix. He was informative, helpful and kind. After picking you up, in the morning, they bring you back to their building where you can purchase any additional tour packages and or food along with beverages for the tour. So do not be upset if you forgot to get some snacks or additional tour packages.

I went to grand canyon on 9/19/2019. I had a bad experience with gray line tours. The bus ride was uncomfortable based on the driver switching the air conditioner on and off; even turning on the heater when customers in the back of the bus complained about ventilation. The two incidents I felt most uncomfortable were: 1. The bus driver of bus #5619 was reckless meaninng she was passing cars on the broad while passengers were on board. 2. The second bus driver walked away from the bus leaving passengers that still needed to get to their destination. I am really upset because the time frames were not met while I was constantly being upsold.

Kelly Ray

Enjoyed this, nice to not have to drive

Had a great day today with Darrell & Kevin. They were very friendly & made us feel very welcome. Great Guys!

We've always enjoyed the Grayline Tours since we started visting Vegas 6 years ago. The South and West Rim Grand Canyon Tours were excellent. Door to Door service with a smile.

After waiting near 70min in a Quae bus final arrived and all were got onthe bus Bus eas fully packed. Started the journey with normal passion but didnt travel not more than 3.00miles, it was noticed that smoke coming out from back wheels/engine. Bus turned back and reached the grays office. Man in the grays office promosed to get a replacement bus. A little later se man came and informed us there is no replacement and the tour is cancelled.

Chetan Dhowan

The driver was the only good part in the entire trip ~ the bus was not comfortable, the trip from Las Vegas to Grand Canyon South Rim was way too long and that too, was not very well organized, and the bus left late and in turn the people who had paid for the IMAX Grand Canyon Movie reached late and missed the first 10 minutes or so !! The time given to see the main Grand canyon was hardly 1 hour and 10 minutes, which is way too short to enjoy and the journey to and fro takes a good 10 hours.... NOT WORTH IT AT ALL FOR 100 US$ or so !!!

Nick Pardalis

Smart funny and polite people, will take you on an amazing Grand Canyon tour! Amazing experience! Take the south tour!

Danny E.

Took the hoover dam tour but the day of we were turned around at security. We were told to either rebook or we get a refund. We were leaving the next day so we asked for our money back. We were told that they would send a cheque jn the mail. 2 months later and we are still waiting and cannot get an answer on where our refund is. So disappointed and would not recommend them.

They basically hold you hostage for 16 to 17 hours if you dont pay 30 more dollars per person on top of what you already paid to get back 5 hours earlier. This was very misleading and i felt exploited for my money. Also the food was not worth the money. 9 dollars for a turkey sandwich that was falling apart and didnt taste its price. Hope this helps prevent people falling into this money trap like my mother and i did.

Mahalie Rudolph

Lost my prescription Ray Ban on there bus and they gave them to someone else. That was $400 down the drain. The tourist that said they was his, shame on you. Remember God is always watching

I had an amazing trip to Hoover Dam and Grand Canyon. Our driver, Thomas ensured that we understood Gray Line procedures and the tour information. He was very thorough, knowledgeable, and friendly which made the trip even more enjoyable. The adults and children were very pleased with the tour.

Beautiful views but the organization could use help and wasn't at least 2 hours after getting picked up from the hotel they don't really say where we going and drop everyone off at there terminal so they can make more money with getting you to buy food and upgrade your tour 8 hr bus ride that smelled they pee the hole time started at 615 am and finally got back at 1030 pm

My wife and I joined a Grand Canyon South Rim Bus Tours from Las Vegas on 3 Aug. However, we were dumped at Grand Canyon. The bus driver (Denny) and the tour guide (Thomas) just didn't notice that there are four people still have not got on the bus. In fact, I saw the bus left us and I just chase after the bus but it didn't stop. We are so panic at that moment. Then we found another two customers from England also haven't got on the bus. So we asked the other tour guides there and they instructed us to take the BLUE shuttle bus to the next meet up point (Bright Angel Lodge). Luckily, we finally catch the tour bus. I think it is unacceptable to left customers in a place where they are totally unfamiliar with. It is so dangerous to left us there. How can you not even notice when FOUR customers were not on the bus? He is so irresponsible. The tour guide Thomas just didn't count the no. of people when he decided to left Grand Canyon. This is totally unacceptable. If we could not got on the bus at Bright Angel Lodge, we would have called the police and reported the situation to the media. I just hope Gray Line will follow up and trained their tour guide better.

Driver was 25 min late for pick up. None of the passengers were given headphones (as advertised on the site). Having the tour with headphones and learning about the dam was one of the main reasons why anybody would book a guided tour. The driver announced that he would stop at the Welcome To Las Vegas sign and was right next to it trying to make a left into the parking lot, where out of nowhere two lady passengers suggested that we should skip the stop. The driver yelled out, "who wants to skip this stop? " As the same two people voted again, the driver took off with a lot of people being disappointed. As we arrived to the dam and our first stop, the driver rushed everybody and insisted that we only had 20 minutes to walk up towards the bridge and back. That unfortunately was nowhere near as much as time that was needed to walk all the way to the center of the bridge and enjoy the view and take pictures. We got about halfway until we had to turn back around and get back which was a huge disappointment since we all wanted to see the Colorado River from up top. Next we got to the lower side and were given a much longer time than needed to walk the dam. We were excited to be able to visit the interior of the dam. We had all seen the pictures on the website and were looking forward to experiencing the same. However, we were told that it was shut down due to construction. This should of been on your site as a warning to your customers. Lastly, about 80% of the passengers did not even leave the bus at the view point due to the fact that is was simply too dark. We then began to drive back when the driver remembered that this was a tour and put a informational recording on when nobody at this point cared for. We had came to Las Vegas with a 15 passenger van and could of easily driven our self's to the dam. There was plenty of parking and we would have plenty of time to enjoy the bridge and gotten to the view point before dark. The reason why we choice not to was because we expected a guided tour which we did not receive. I strongly suggest people wanting to see the dam just rent a car and drive themselves.

I came to Las Vegas with a group of 6 (three couples) and we booked the last Express tour of the day on a Sunday to the Hoover Dam. They picked us up at the hotel and brought us here. While here we were able to get our tickets for the tour, go to the bathroom and buy any last minute snack at the store on site. They gave us an explanation of what to expect as soon as we got here. Then we boarded a different bus than the one we were picked up in and we were on our way. The driver was very nice and so were both buses they used (one to pick us up and the one for the actual tour). We saw a video on the bus on our way to the Dam with some history and cool facts. After the tour was done we ere dropped off one by one at our respective hotels. We even asked the driver to make us the first stop because one of the couples in our group was getting married at 7 that day and we did not want them to be late and he obliged. Great company. Definitely recommend using this company for a tour.

Our guide, Rick was the worst. Came across as a nice, friendly guy but turned out to be anything but. First, he says that whatever we were told about our Grand Canyon South rim tour from Las Vegas was a lie, giving us the feeling that he was going to do things his way. He skipped the first stop altogether, the bridge overlooking the Hoover dam because he said it would set us back time-wise. Imagine that, the very first stop, and after I had told two people with us we were going to see the dam (they had never seen it before). When we got to the canyon area, there were two people that signed up for a helicopter tour. He personally escorted them off the bus to the office but as the bus was leaving the lot, they came running out. Apparently it was the wrong tour. Rick got very angry and swore, also saying they were stupid people. He continued to embarrass them when they reboarded the bus. How were they to know? That's why we wore colored wrist bands. If they've never been to the canyon, how would they know that was the wrong location? The tour includes a stop at Mather point but he kept saying that people don't always get back to the bus on time and that he really should leave them behind and figure out how to get back to Vegas. He then asked the people on board if they would like to just go to the Bright Angel lodge or both. The majority of the people said both. But instead we were just taken to the lodge. He kept on emphasizing how important it was to be waiting outside when it was time to leave, saying you don't want to be left behind. But he was 20 minutes late at pick up time. No apologies, just said he and his driver had paperwork to do. As we were approaching Vegas, he asked us for our hotels. When our bus arrived at the rendezvous point for the buses to the different hotels, he did not mention our hotel which led us to believe that we were to stay on our original bus. When he double checked with us on our hotel, he said we should be on a different bus. After we left our bus to board this second bus and giving him a generous tip, we were told by the second bus that there was no room. When we went back to our original bus we were denied access by Rick and told to board a third bus. This we did but we were the last ones off and returned to our hotel past 11pm. I am always going to remember Rick for the bad service. If we ever catch another tour with this guy, can you guess what kind of tip he'll get?

Thomas was an amazing tour guide! He was very informative and helpful and extremely hilarious.

Incredible selection, knowlegable and friendly staff, great showroom.

Only because zero stars isn't an option Bus broke I guess, driver ran out of time had to wait for new driver and new bus. New driver didn't know how to drive old bus. So we had to turn around so the old driver could teach him how to operate bus. After waiting an hour for the new bus and driver's to get there. You don't get to spend much time at canyon because they stop a lot. An 1.5 hours for lunch and a stop at McDonald's for breakfast. Just find another way.

Jessica Schillawski Charles

The park is beautiful. However the tour disappointing. Apparently the park is under construction which the guide failed to share with the bus until we were entering the park. 4.5 hour ride and they couldn’t share that we were not going to be able to go to all the stops. However, if you wanted to upgrade your two worry you got to see more of the canyon. Due to the construction, this cut the visit time in half and only went to one lookout, not 2 lookouts and no stop st El Tovar lodge as well. Grand total and hour and a half was spent inside the park. That’s pretty disappointing. To make matters worse when I contacted customer service they told me that they had no control over this issue. You can’t control construction but you can certainly control what you communicate with your customers and when you communicate it. FYI they have also removed the Hoover dam from this trip.

I took a tour to the Grand Canyon with this company I was absolutely amazing my driver was absolutely great we took the Grand Canyon west rim on August 28th and we had an absolute blast our driver was awesome the experience was awesome the trip was awesome. Although the bathroom was out of order on the bus the driver was amazing make sure we never needed anything and made sure we always knew what was going on help us plan our trip at the canyon and plan our time as well thank you guys very much for a lifelong memory

Bobbie Haines

Enjoyed the Grand Canyon, however we paid $100 each after a sales pitch about how much nicer it would be to travel in a 10 passenger limo for a quicker trip and more enjoyable ride. Very bad idea! Only got back an hour earlier. The ride was extremely bumpy and lucky us got to sit over the wheel well. The seats were not comfortable and everyone kept shifting around. Most if us were sorry we wasted our money. We were given breakfast snacks while waiting to leave and hurried so much we had to grab our food to take with us. Then stopped for lunch along with several other buses about 200 people to eat a lunch that we had quickly selected that morning. It was terribly crowded most had to stand on long lines to pick up their food. We were fortunate in that there was a table sit aside for us as we wre such a small group. Some of our orders were wrong and we had to eat fast or grab it to go in order to stay on schedule. They picked us up at 6:15am and we spent a couple of hours waiting while we were processed and there were sales pitches, of course, we returned about 9:30pm. Most were exhausted and wished we had taken the tour bus which we knew had softer seats. This was a bad idea. But the view was beautiful. I have to say, though that our driver, Mo, was great, friendly and helpful and did his best to keep us on schedule and even calling out things to look at along the way. I would not want his job, but he did it well. Final say is it is a very long trip as warned, but you don't have to drive. STICK WITH THE MOTOR COACH for a more enjoyable trip and you get to see all that you were supposed to see.

LOVE IT BABY.

We were picked up at our hotel then taken to this bus terminal where we were gathered with other guests who were visiting the Grand canyon. no complaints. our driver, Armando was a great tour guide stopping at several points for us to sight see, eat and take pictures. he had a great sense of humor and patience. lots of patience

Jes By

Our trip was great they picked us up right from our hotel our driver Thomas was great he got us to and from there safely and quick and he was really funny the seats were comfortable and spacious and I'm 6'3 so that means a lot

Christian Derntl

I did not enjoy traveling with Graylines at all. You are being handled like cattle and subjected to repeated and constant sales pitches and advertisment.

Ron COR

Hoover dam tour was good. We also booked the lunch and helicopter ride with the tour. Everything was well orchestrated. They made you feel like royalty. Thanks!

Jalyn Ely

The main good thing about this tour is that you get to see the Grand Canyon and, as someone who is too young to rent a car during my stay in Vegas, they provided transportation there and back. Also, our bus driver, Thomas, was enthusiastic and entertaining. Beyond that, it was solidly mediocre. I can't say much for the actual bus ride - since they picked us up from our hotel before 6am, I slept for most of it there and back. The vending machines at the terminal wouldn't dispense anything and the staff was unhelpful, so we lost $3 there. Only half of the charging stations on the bus worked, and there was no wifi. Lunch was okay - definitely edible, but not nearly as good as the listing made it out to be. We went to the west rim and didn't have any of the extras (the helicopter/boat tour sounded cool, but it was really expensive). The west rim was pretty cool. There were great views and a lot of awesome photo opportunities, plus the skywalk with the glass floor that lets you see straight down. The Hualapai Indians (who own the west rim area you go to) have a good shuttle system to three different spots and a nice gift shop. If you just want to see the canyon, get some good pictures, and maybe pick up a souvenir postcard or two, it's great. Also, pro tip: Don't wait for them to drop you off at your hotel afterward, get off at the first stop and take an Uber, you can save 1-2 hours. As far as tours go, this wasn't much of a tour - it was mainly bus transportation to and from the canyon. I don't really regret going this time, but if you're old enough to rent a car, I think it would be a more fun trip to just drive to the west rim yourself.

Our first day in Las Vegas yesterday & we had a Grand Canyon tour booked with Gray Line-December 24. We saw the Grand Canyon, experienced the Sky Walk & it was like a dream come true-unforgettable & awesome! Before that, our driver gave us all a stern tirade in the morning about being back to the bus on time, respecting others and that he would not wait & it would cost us $400 if we were left there to get a cab back to Vegas. When everyone was ready to leave, at the end of the day, a group was late & we waited in the bus nearly 2 hours. While we were waiting, the driver asked everyone what hotel they were staying at & said he would take everyone back to their hotels, when the late people returned. They already knew where everyone was staying! We were staying at the Hard Rock Hotel Casino & when I rang them to confirm this the night before, they told us to meet in the morning across the road from our hotel, at another hotel. They even contacted me there yesterday morning to confirm. All good, we told him where we were staying. The driver said he would get another bus driver to help him take half of us back to our hotels, as he was really tired & this would make it all quicker. Sounds reasonable in the situation. They told some people to go with the other driver & some stayed with the original bus driver. Everyone was being dropped off at their hotel doors. We had to stay with the original driver. When he called out our hotel, we got out & we were nowhere near our hotel. Hard Rock Hotel Casino is not on the Main Street/Strip & he was dropping us at a Hard Rock Cafe that was convenient for him only. It was a cafe and he must have known this! Anyway we told him this was not our hotel and we had no clue where we were. He yelled at us in the street and blamed us for giving him the wrong information. He said we should have gone with the other bus driver & should have been clearer about where we were going. How would we know which driver to go with? They were organising it all. We stood there not knowing what to do and he jumped back on the bus & took off quickly. Last night, Christmas Eve, everything was crowded and we couldn’t see any cabs or know which direction to walk in. Also our phones were out of charge by this point. He dumped us in the middle of it all & blamed us for confusing him! Who is the experienced Las Vegas tour guide? Who are the new travellers in town for one day? We walked for miles to get back & somehow eventually made it back by recognising some towers. It was a sad & horrible end to a tour I had dreamed of for ages. He knew we were not being left at our hotel but did not bother to make it right for us. He was happy to dump us at the wrong place, completely lost. Even the people who made us all so late & tired were treated better than us. I think it was because he couldn’t be bothered driving us to a different road. Very disappointed Grayline.

So the driver to Grand Canyon nice, said joke over speaker, & told us good info about trip. The bus picking us up from our Las Vegas Strip hotel was super late, I mean pick up 30 minutes late. We were told when booking tour it's 6:15am sharp or left behind. So we missed out on some upgrade opportunities because we were so late. My problem with driver doing tour was at end of trip he put a CD to play that a male voice gives us suggested tipping amount for the bus driver. Voice suggested $10 per person on bus. There were 72 people on the bus. That's a pretty good potential tax free $720 that he could get that night if we all gave a tip. I thought it was rude & on the nose to play a CD that suggested that. I might start driving a charter bus for that kind of income. We were taken midway to Grand Canyon to a very over packed McDonald's for chance to get breakfast in 30 minutes. Which that amount of people in the store waiting was impossible to happen & be possible left behind to keep on schedule. He could stop at another fast food restaurant, there were plenty on the way. Grayline must have an agreement to stop at this particular McDonald's because other buses were there too. Over 250- 300 people all around the restaurant.

Dan Davis

It's a sales pitch from when you are picked up to when you leave. They have a cafe, overpriced and not that great, and the wait wasn't to bad. It wasn't a bad experience, the driver seemed nice, he had a heavy accent so it was hard to understand him, but he seemed nice. But I would look for a different tour, they offer the same experience as the others but are higher priced.

Brandon Spain

Very good place to go for tours good people very responsible.

This was the tour company, they arrived on time to pick us up. The bus was clean and new it brings you to there location for you to get on the correct tour as they have several tours going on leaving from this location. They have a small area for you to buy last minute coffee and drinks, snacks before you leave. They allow you to bring food and eat on the buses. The staff was very helpful and polite they answered any questions you may have. If I had booked my tour thru them on line direct we would have saved $20 dollars for each ticket . We had the same bus we got picked up in for our tour ,each bus has a guide on board . They give you facts along the way of your tour and of places you pass famous people in the area that lived there and some people that still live there. Next time I will definitely book my tours thru them pick up and drop off at your hotel after a long day is great on your feet .

Me & my husband were very pleased with Grayline! We went on the Hoover Dam/Lake Mead tour, & it was about 7 hours so a little long but definitely worth it! The tour driver Mark was very informative & funny, & with a bus full, he was definitely keeping us entertained! The drive/driver was really the highlight of the trip, he showed us some places I’ve never even seen (& I've lived in Vegas my whole life

Trencia Richardson

Champagne Tour was so much fun! Our tour guide was funny and knowledgeable. We hit some great spots without having to uber or walk to them. They pick you either very near or at your hotel. It was a great time!

Tim Hughes

Unable to go down into dam and see the turbines. Not enough time said tour line. They are incorrect that the tour is not available. I know of others that went on the tour and saw the turbines. They are at best misinformed on a tour they offer.

Nick Darmits

Good Trip, great value. I only wish we had an extra hour or so to stay at the canyon

Mary Garcia

Used Gray Line to tour the Grand Canyon. Used bus #5632. It was a very long ride from Las Vegas to get there. We rode 8hrs in the bus smelling like a porta potty. The bus tour guide should of been considerate and emptied at a dump station instead of making us smell that filth for the whole trip. Never again!!

Julie Conner

Use the bus service to visit the south rim of the Grand Canyon. Delightful trip without the need to rent a car to visit

Philip Shea

Great service, but it is hard from the website to figure out the timing from the nearest pickup point. Then, after everyone is picked up, they drive you to their depot, where they "process" everyone to their bus. Great service and friendly driver, plus informative talk on the way there and back. All-in-all, 5 hours to Hoover dam and back.

Kimberly Laurent

The Hoover Dam tour with this company was well worth it! Our tour guide Tony was very knowledgeable and funny. The bus driver (unfortunately forgot his name) was a good driver as well. The bus was very nice, comfortable, and clean. Overall great experience.

Dino Karlo Tolentino

My tour to the Grand Canyon with them is uneventful and our driver(I forgot his name) is very friendly, funny, and knowledgeable, I wish they should put more buses to shuttle the guests back to their hotels because it took me like 2-3 hours after we arrived in Vegas just to arrive at my hotel. Overall experience is good.

Rachel Randolph

Decent prices. Driver Mike was awesome. First guy to pick us up was pretty. Crazy they tell you over a loud speaker during the tour to tip the driver.

Theresa Lollis

Today we took the tour to the Hoover dam and the Grand Canyon.. bus #8141 with Thomas. He was excellent!!!! He gave us all the info required and made our trip enjoyable. It was highlight of our Vegas vacaton.

Mary Ann Kapostasy

Jerry our driver was excellent... lots of trivia type knowledge.

Stephen Orlowski

Huge delays and sales pitches instead of getting you on the tour you paid for.

Marius Swart

Tyler was the best driver I've ever had on a tourist trip, he went out of his way to make sure everyone is as comfortable as possible and enjoys the trip to the full.

Efrain Baguer

I actually take back the 5 star review that I gave before and the reason, I left my Ray Ban sunglasses which I've had for more than 8 years in the bus, my wife and I were the last passengers to exit the bus, as soon as we notice that they were missing I contacted the office and they tried to reach the driver, Mr. Cas, the office then told me that an overnight crew ckeans the bus and they will let me know, I've called around 4 times and no luxk. This will definitely be the last time we will do business with and will definitely not recommend.

Teddy chan tin

Wasted at least 1 and half hour to pick up all travellers and sort them at the terminal. Coach was packed and you are allocated in a seat and not allowed to move around or choose your own seating. Find it quite military regiment. The tour was good but some explanation was quite vague. A map for points of interest would be appreciated.

MaryAnne Carpenter

Service was good but knowing the weather was bad we had no option to change dates. Las Vegas to Grand Canyon is one long day.

Casey Peterson

Incredible trip to the Grand Canyon. It was a long day but well worth it. The bus was clean and comfortable and everything went as scheduled. Our driver was very personable and quite informative. Once we arrived we had lots of time to explore and take pics. The views are breathtaking. So glad we decided not to drive ourselves. Would highly recommend.

Shishir

Grey line is assemble point before the bus trip to Grand canyon .They could have some hot breakfast so people can have it packed before they leave. They do have some snacks and cold breakfast options.

Lee Roy

We loved this tour! Well worth the 140 per ticket which included the Sky Walk at the West Rim, and the buffet dinner at Guano. Would recommend this tour as it was well planned, very prompt, and had a very comfortable tour bus! We stopped at Hoover Dam also which was something you don't want to miss.

I traveled to the grand canyon South rim in this company on MAR 21 2019. The Pick up time was supposed to be at 5:50am .But it came at 6:24 am . Then we traveled around 7:45am. As we were riding the bus on the way to the grand canyon the bus had some problem. So the driver called the bus engineers who were supposed to fix the bus. But none of them came. so the bus moved slowly. At 2:30pm the lunch break started. At 3:20pm the bus started to go on to the grand canyon. Finally, we arrived at the grand canyon around 3:30pm. At 4:25pm we turned back to go to my hotel. At 12:40 am I arrived to my hotel in Lasvegas at last. during the trip, first break time 20mins . Dinner break 30mins . I spent 19hours for only a trip to the grand canyon. It was not a good experience. Never use.

Ian Dawson

well organised trip. no we're to sit while waiting for the coach tho.

Arlan Simons

Great people. Good driver clean facilities tour was great.

Saurabh Garg

Cancelled the trip last minute. Asked to change to more expensive and less scenic tour. Being our last day we had no option

Ishita Jindal

We went today for an expedition to the South rim of Grand Canyon Park. Awaiting the experience since 4 months, I must say it was a pathetic experience. Let's see how? We started at 6.00 am from the hotel and reached back at around 12.30 am, in which we were there at the Grand Canyon for only 2 hours. Paid so much money, and got to spend only 2 hours at the park. We didn't go to have Subways or Burgers, etc. We went there to visit a World Wonder. If you people would have planned in a good manner while thinking of your customers, we would have easily spend 2 Hrs. extra at the national park. It's just a sheer wastage of both, time and money. Though, the Grand Canyon was amazing, but travelling from India and spending good 18 hours in bus is way too much of an harrassment. Please segregate your route for the comfort of your passengers, specially while returning back. I will not recommend......

Aida Crespo

Today we had the VIP tour with Kevin to the West Rim. From start to finish he was very professional and courteous! We truly enjoyed our day and having him as our tour guide/driver! His Customer Service exceeded our expectations!! Thank you Kevin! Aida & Chris from St Cloud, Florida

Aisha N

I took Grand Canyon tour of West rim with skywalk. I booked this trip through JetBlue so I didn’t know what to expect. On the day of tour I was impressed by how prompt they were with time at pickup location. When we got to the terminal, they gave us a complete overview of what was going to happen, safety, etc. after we got on tour bus and it was beautiful, and comfortable with large windows that made it possible to enjoy the views while traveling. Also their on-board bathroom is very good so skip those long lines at different stops and use there. Our driver was same and occasionally made corny jokes but don’t worry he wasn’t narrating The Whole trip as they’re pre-recorded tour messages. I will definitely use them again to tour south rim.

Gene Richardson

Upgraded to small bus and was well worth it in every aspect. Kevin, our driver, was very professional, informative, courteous and an all around super nice guy. Enjoyed ourselves from the moment we left till we were dropped off at the Signature at the MGM. Thanks Kevin for a great day. I would recommend the upgrade

smita puranesh

Very unprofessional and terrible service . DO NOT USE grey line Las Vegas ! Booked a helicopter tour 3 days in advance and just called (luckily!) to reconfirm pick up an hour in advance of when we were to leave and was told to was cancelled ! Blame shifting between grey line and airline company and no one had a clue of what was going on and if I hadn’t called to check , no one would have bothered to inform and would have just been stood up at the pick up point . Despite the weather being sunny and clear and all other tours flying and offering options , they claimed this tour was cancelled . Absolutely ridiculous ! Also the call centre staff keeps you on hold endlessly without warning and is seriously under equipped to deal with questions ! Am sorry I ever attempted to use them

Cindy Ortiz

When you come in the staff was very nice and details on what they offer and if you need help. But unfortunately our bus driver got sick so they had us waiting over a hr for another bus. On the way we had to make an in expected stop to pick up a group that there bus broke down. On the way back we were taken to a second bus to take us back to our hotels which took forever and the bus driver was going in circles and would not make exceptions for the passengers to get off when we were literally next to our hotel.

Amy Simmons

Driver was NOT helpful with instructions, or fixing a broken seat that leaned back for the entire 6hr trip. He refused to let 81 people off the bus for 30 mins because 3 people didn't buy lunch tickets and he didn't know who they were. I was told on the return he would drop us at one hotel, he didn't. He expected us to get on another bus again with no information on how many stops and where that bus was going. I paid for an UBER to get home. I called Gray Line Las Vegas and could NOT get a manager but explained this experience to an employee and I NEVER heard anything back from this company.

Kelly Allen

Great 1/2 day tour to hoover dam.

Susan Weiner

This company does it's best to rip you off. It is an extremely long day and they add unnecessary time to try and sell you more activities before starting the long tour. They drive around Vegas picking every one up for 1 hour and instead of driving direct to the Grand Caynon after the pick ups they unload everyone off the bus in Vegas and try and sell you helicopter flights, and other activities for the day. So they might pick you up at 5.45 but have no intention of leaving Vegas until 7:30am. You do get to watch a fantastic IMAX movie with lunch if you are prepared to pay the extra $15 they sell you in the morning. Beware if you buy the helicopter tour as it is very underwhelming due to the fact they have had 4 helicopter crashes over the past few years due to faulty helicopters which I believe have been fixed now. On the way home before getting to Vegas they made us change buses after driving around a car park for at least 10 minutes looking for the new driver at 9:30pm at night. We get to Vegas then have to start dropping everyone again, once going to a holiday that no one was getting off at. On a positive note the driver was very nice and the recorded guide on the bus was great. It is a shame they added 2 1/4 unnecessary hours to this extremely long tour in order to sell you more activities. It always pays to be honest as everyone saw through their dishonesty.

Aeron Lindley

Great service. We took the Hoover Dam tour with Gray Line and had Tony on bus 5626 who was just great. Good commentry with good insight to the places we passed and fun with it. Thanks for a great trip

Summer Dupont

Great tour, super friendly tour guide!

Mason Lawrenz

The tour itself is fine, but lots of time is wasted going to their central center and being forced to watch a sales presentation.

Elizabeth Doherty

We upgraded to the limo bus and found it worth the money! Tyler was our tour guide who was knowledgeable, fun and kept everything moving along smoothly. If you have not taken the time to visit one of Mother Nature’s most beautiful creations while you are in the Vegas area let Gray Lines and Tyler show you the way. You will get to see not only the Grand Canyon, but they also include the Hoover Dam and a drive thru and stop off at the Joshua Tree Forest. It is a must see for all and a memory which will last a lifetime!

Dania Quiroga

Great value, amazing customer service, a lot tours to choose from!! Buses are clean. Grayline main office has clean restroom, deli shop, and snack. Get them there before heading to your destination. Happy site seeing!!

Victoria Schulz

We booked our tickets through Groupon and the description mentions stopping at the Hoover dam and being able to take a tour. Well not only did our bus to lose communications, but there was no backup audio to support it at all or a separate bus to take us to our destination to the west rim. We weren't told when we were passing the Hoover dam and it was disappointing to not have anyone explain the breathtaking sights around us. We booked an extra excursion to take us on a tour in a Hummer which was amazing and not with the Gray line group, however there was no time to meet back at the bus station so we ended up getting stranded at the bus station for two hours because our bus had lost members of our tour up in the canyon. This was not a pleasurable experience and I would not book with gray line again.

Cheryl Fry

Worst place ever to take a tour through. Said they would pick us up at 6am, they were late 20+min. Got to they're building, still had to wait almost an hour. Finally left, had to turn around cause bus was smoking by the back wheels. Said they had another bus ready. Then after half an hour or so, they said they didn't. Almost 11 am, they finally got us back to our motel. They said we could reschedule for tomorrow, not a damn chance of doing that!!!! Would not recommend that place to anyone!!!! Had to post a Star to rate them, wouldn't even give them that. Didn't even offer anything for our waisted time!!!!

Dylan

This is for the location by Vegas Strip. I bought the south rim full day bus tour and it took me here. We did stop at hoover dam and the grand canyon later, but not at route 66 during the day. I had to take a picture of the exit signs while they were driving past. Snacks were not included. They just drove by a gas station on the way and had us go inside to buy our own food. Only thing that was free was lunch. Currently we are driving back from the canyon, they finally stopped at route 66 and it was at mcdonalds. UPDATE: at the end of the day while they were bringing us back to hotel something made the bus STINK. My eyes started to water and I heard people coughing in the back.

Mike Pattison

Pick up really early but spent the first 2 hours being hurded around Las Vegas like cattle and being given the big sell on much better more expensive options. Don't sit on the lower deck, were I was put on joining the second coach, the lower deck has lousy views on a 600 mile, 15 hour round trip to the Grand Canyon. Never again, I would recommend considering looking at all the other options before taking the grey line grand canyon tour, a rental car has to be a better option, if you don't mind the drive. It gives you more flexibly and a better view of the desert drive.

Cheryl Harkin

Great trip! "J" and Bob made the trip excellent. Very well organized and informative trip. Marathon had the streets closed and sadly our driver had to deal with some road.closure dynamics in getting us back to our hotel. Everyone managed except a few ignorant women from Brazil who ignored the instructions due to lack of comprehension and caused the driver issues at the end of the night yelling and shoving a phone in her face like she owed more to them then the rest of the bus. Some people are so disrespectful. J = best driver and guide ever even though she doesn't like to be called a bus driver.

Anne Lederhose

Unfortunately for our tour the bus broke down on the way to Grand Canyon. A lot of time later -6 hrs- we got to see the Grand Canyon. We only got 45 minutes viewing, but occurances can happen beyond control.

Stian Klingenberg

We GOT piced up at 6 AM and were taken to their HQ were we had to stay in line for a long time before we got seperated into 2 groups. Didnt like that. The trip was ok

rhi hutchings

A very disorganised start, staff didn't seem to sure what was going on. That said our driver Thomas was AMAZING he was hilarious had the whole bus laughing.

Mrs. Jo

They're pretty efficient. They do a lot of upselling which is expected. In the room before registration they offered Mercedes upgraded rides for 100 per person. When we got on the bus, cars were not as full as expected and they cut the cost to $50.00 per person. They didn't leave on time (probably 30 mins late) the ride time was inaccurate. They said we would be back to Vegas by 9 p.m. we arrived back after 11. The 2nd driver that was suppose to relieve initial person was not in place. The driver was great when he did engage. He played DVDs, would've appreciated occasional location distance updates...went like 3 hours without saying anything. They also gave headphones which were really handy.

Joan Mccall

Exciting tourand best driver

Mary Reynolds

Duane, our bus driver, was amazing! Kept us entertained throughout our entire tour of Hoover Dam and Lake Mead Cruise. Bus was spotless and had comfortable A/C!

Matt Schnars

Way too much delay before the tour. Having experienced previous Hoover Dam and Grand Canyon tours in years past, was disappointed in the myriad delays before the Hoover Dam Tour even began. Also, quite frustrating that after the tour finally began, the driver was required to stop 5 minutes into the tour at the Las Vegas welcome sign.the driver and tour at the Dam were fine, but the delays and poor organization in the first two hours were quite frustrating

Martha Trelles

Don't use this tour company! We had to get on the bus at 5:55. Then we went to the tour center and didn't really get started until 7:30. We were brought to a McDonald's and then our lunch spot. Because some people had bought IMAX tickets and we arrived after the movie started, we had to wait an additional 40 minutes. So we didn't get to the Grand Canyon until 3:15. Pickup was at 5:15. No advice on where to go either! We didn't get back to our room until close to midnight. Oh did I mention our driver Bruce left us off at the wrong hotel!

Kimberly Nichelle Hardy

This bus tour was the best. Our bus driver and your guide was great. Tommy T. was an excellent driver to and from the locations. In addition, He educated us on what to do and not to do while visiting the Grand Canyon. He kept us engaged the whole time while traveling to the tour sites. At the end of the tour he gave all of us a souvenir from the trip. Thanks so much Tommy T. You are the best.

San Small

Laughlin tour is amazing. Time away from the strip can not be spent any better way, especially if you are lucky enough to get Rveeda as your driver. She delivers exceptional service.

Guit N Good

Our first experience with Gray Line tours was a Grand Canyon tour on 9/23. This was unfortunately a horrible customer service experience. 1) The problems started when we were given a 5:40am pickup time and our bus didn't arrive until 6:00am. Then we lost even more time waiting to switch to the final bus at the Gray Line depot. None of the outlets on the final bus had power and the driver couldn't resolve this issue when brought to their attention so we had no way to charge our phones during what turned out to be a 16+ hour trip. This equipment failure prevented us from being able to take as many photos/videos and limited communication between our family members also on the tour. We were up sold the BuckWild Hummer tour (which was excellent!) but that was even cut short by 45 minutes because the driver told us yet another incorrect pickup time which we confirmed with other passenegers. 2) Another example of unnecessary stress and driver negligence was at the final stop for food. There were passengers from two Gray Line buses (including ours) standing in line which extended beyond the restaurant entrance. Because my wife and I didn't want to stand in line and risk delaying the bus, we tried to get back on the bus. The driver refused to allow us on however, walked us into the restaurant, and as we stood at the end of the line reassured us twice we had plenty of time. Our phones were dead at this time (14+ hours with no charge) so, once we finally got our food, a family member had to run from the bus into the restaurant to tell us the driver was leaving us behind. Also, we found out later the bus driver 1) never took a head count and 2) started driving off twice with at least at least 6 passengers still in the restaurant and 3) family members had to get her to stop the bus twice so they could retrieve passengers from the restaurant while the bus driver never left the bus. Obviously, all of this could have been avoided had the bus driver conducted a head count and communicated in the restaurant their intent to leave. The reason for a 2 star rating is that the driver was informative during the Hoover Dam portion and Vegas points of interest.

Linda Carnes

Great. We had the best driver/tour guide.

Zeyu Zhao

The tour itself is not bad, although they offer nothing more than a bus ride to Grand Canyon and a simple lunch. The worst thing is the way the driver ask for tips: they try to make people feel very guilty if you don’t pay tips. I can’t say the trip was bad but I probably wouldn’t have gone if I had known everything in advance.

Elena Kiseleva

It was kinda okish. Not really very good organized: early pickup, too much waiting time b4 we actually got in the bus, and then bus was iced cold all the way till we got to Canyon. Even when we got to the Canyon, we were still sitting in the cold bus shivering from cold for another 30 min. Then another wait for transportation/lunch tickets distribution. At least 45 min were waisted at Canyon

teresa christensen

Total cattle call for the first hour aftering being picked up from our hotel. There is an upgrade cost to sit in the front of the bus. I would highly suggest booking a private tour from another company so your time can actually be spent sightseeing. Super disappointed as I sit waiting in a Vegas parking for the tour to begin. Although Ozzy our bus driver has a great personality. :(

Andrea P

My party of 4 toured the Hoover dam and the grand canyon July 28, 2019, and we were very much pleased with the service we received. Our driver James was on his first trip with the company and he handled it like a pro, we were amazed at his driving skills. Our guide Jackson was very professional, courteous, knowledgeable and funny, he really kept us entertained. Would do it all over again, thank you guys !!

Peter Vogelsanger

Had an excellent day trip to the Grand Canyon

David Smith

My wife and I were picked up from the Aria at approx. 8:45am and taken to their depot we eventually boarded the bus for our trip to Hoover Dam at approx. 10:00am we were then informed that the onboard toilet was not working along with the WiFi and TV intercom, setting of first for the famous Las Vegas sign for photos we were allowed twenty minutes returned to the bus within the twenty minutes we departed for the Hoover Dam fifteen minutes down the road we were told to return as the driver had left two passengers we returned picked them up and set off only to get within two miles of the dam and hit traffic as their were security checks on all vehicles we eventually got to the dam at 1:10pm over three hours with no restroom facility the driver stated we had until 3:00pm ( bearing in mind we were supposed to return to our hotel at 2:30pm) We eventually departed at 3:10pm for a beauty spot but all the passengers on the bus had had enough and wanted to return back to Vegas the driver then stood up and stated he didn’t have an itinerary for dropping off at hotels so he went up and down the bus getting drop off. We finally arrived back in Vegas around 3:50pm which you would think is not to bad only to be told the bus had 19 drops and we were second from last, at 5:20pm we we informed that we would not be dropped off at the Aria due to all the traffic, we had already cancelled our evening meal at 5:30pm and had tickets to see Cher later in the evening, we were still one mile away and the driver stated that it would be quicker if we walked this several of us did, again we were on the bus with no restroom facility for hours Having to sit on the bus for 19 drops from a customer service point of view was shocking Having to eventually walk one mile to our hotel desperate for the restroom again was shocking Not a good day Not a good experience at all

Mara Centers

We had a good trip to Laughlin with them from Las Vegas.

Rebecca Tejada

Just got to our hotel the Excalibur from the Grand canyon tours!! Lovely trip, our tour guide Enrique and Driver Erica, very hospitable and friendly, Erica and Enrique are excellent drivers

Sandra Parsons

Overbooked and kicked off even though I booked several days in advance.

Mike Waldman

Very disorganized. Nice driver but this tour company does not have its act together. We were almost at the dam when dispatcher made us turn around to pick up people at Boulder airport. We got to drive through a scenic overlook without stopping. Then we started skipping things because they didnt have enough time. Now everything is rushed.

Bella Khamitsaeva

We just came back from the trip and we are happy to be alive. It started great on the way there but on the way back- the driver was going 80 miles per hour on a 45-55 miles per hour speed limit. If you ever were on that road, you would know how dangerous it is to begin with. The driver was passing all the vehicles even when it was a very curvy turns. He was bragging how our bus was the first to depart and arrive but now I know why. Giving a negative review is not something I ever do but I feel that this time it may help to prevent some sadly accidents. Most people on the bus were from other countries so I know they would not be sharing their feedback.

CRISTINA GARCIA

Too much talking. Terrible organization. Waiting 2 hours to depart

marcus todd

Me and my mother took the Hoover damn tour. Our driver was Tony. He had a phenomenal time there and also riding with Tony. We had adequate time on the bridge, at the Las Vegas Sign, at the Damn and he went out of his way to surprise us and show us another overlook of Lake Mead. I would definitely recommend everyone taking the Hoover Damn tour and asking specifically for Tony. He's very knowledgeable of the cities history, a great driver and he also knows tons of history of the Damn. He also adds in tons of humor along the way and back. We are taking the grand canyon tour tommorow with gray line and I hope Tony is our driver.

Mario Williams

Good tours and nice people.

nitin singh

This is the company which offers tour of famous places in Las Vegas & nearby places. I used a Gray Line bus to reach to Grand Canyon. Their buses are very much comfortable and they run on time. They have educated guide also who narrates stories about places coming on the way to your destination. Good service.

Melissa Ellison

First of all, the day before our tour we called to confirm that the GrayLine was going to pick us up at the condos in which we have a timeshare. When paying for tour online through Tripadvisor for $165.00 a ticket x 3 it stated that we would have unlimited water through out tour on bus, lunch provided as well as tour. They did not pick us up at our condo as advertised plus we had to Uber to the location they requested us to meet them. IT TOOK 2 1/2 hours for them to then drive us to the main Graylines bus location to change buses, forced through lines for them ot make more money, then we were off on the 2+ hour trip to even get started. Then our guide was a very humble sweet man, Robert. This was his first day with the company and was called that morning at 5am to come in unannounced. He was not given any information at all other than where he was to drive us. He did not know to give us a lunch ticket until 2pm----our tour ended at 3pm so we then had to bus to the nearest place on tour to eat cold cut sandwiches. NONE of this was Roberts fault. If anything I commend him for trying his best to make sure that we had a great experience. I would NEVER recommend this GrayLines to anyone. I would rather rent a vehicle and travel on my own than to deal with the unprofessional company. A COMPLETE wait of $500.00 for a tour!!!! We should be reimbursed for our troubles and inconvenience.

S W

Way too much time wasted in the morning. We spent 30 minutes at one hotel waiting for people that didn't show up on time and almost an hour at the terminal. You should not make hundreds of people wait and ruin their trip because one or two couldn't be bothered to show up on time. We were also upsold on a VIP upgrade that was supposed to include 2 bonus stops which we did not get, presumably because so much time was wasted in the morning. When we got to the canyon or guide tried to take an hour from us when everyone complained he gave in but it was at the expenses of our bonus stops which we paid an extra $100 per person for. When we arrived back in Vegas it was obvious why as he was receiving personal calls asking when he'd be home. We should be refunded the money we paid for "VIP" To make matters worse they've sent me multiple emails requesting that I leave a review but have "system issues" when I try to leave an honest review. I'm sure that would not be the case if my review were positive. Do not be fooled by the positive reviews on viator or TripAdvisor. They simply do not accept negative reviews. Date of visit was August 19, 2019.

Dennis Dmenis

Zero stars if I could. I had booked a Grand Canyon South Rim with hummer tour for my SO and I. They were so kind to call me at 4:30am to remind me the location of the pick up. The bus picked us up at my hotel 5:45am , over an hour of driving and picking up other passengers st their hotels, we finally arrived at the bus depot. We thought were finally ready to go..They directed us into the orientation room. Pitched the west rim tour and was boggled why we were told to pay attention. Finally the rep told us the south rim tour was canceled due to the weather. For other passengers they were offered to either upgrade your south rim tour to west rim for and additional $50.00 per person or for me it was downgrade. I get the skywalk, a $25.00 value for free. The rep said that's would be a wash. I had paid $220.00 per person. How is a $130.00 dollar tour plus a free skywalk "a wash". I declined their offer and I ended up on the same bus route back along with other disgruntled customers, I ended up back at my hotel at 8:00 am. They could have just called to let me know in advance that it was canceled, instead of wasting our time pitching an alternative tour.

Damian Randazzo

Nice rides. Depending where you stay, for an 2 hour tour they pick you up before 6am and drop you back after 11pm. They have a record about the tips to the driver, even with amount suggestions, that's not nice... If you earned it, you don't need to ask...

Yasmine Kareem

I researched many tour companies months before our trip. We were only interested in the power plant tour. So we booked ahead, paid in advance for the day trip from Las Vegas that included the power plant. When we arrived at Gray Line we were informed that "the plant is closed because of a broken elevator". When we got to the Dam, there was a line of people getting on an elevator and taking THEIR tour of the plant, so we asked the ticket taker and the security guard. The power plant was NOT closed, it HADN'T BEEN closed, the elevator WASN'T broken, and Gray Line is NOTORIOUS for lying to their customers. When I asked why, he reminded us that the tour included only gas for the bus round trip from Vegas and the bus driver's wage. There was no guide, no education, no value added, but they charged us $58 to include the cost of the "plant tour" that didn't happen. CROOKS!!! The bus driver wouldn't respond with anything other than "I was told it was a broken elevator" and they didn't take us back to Gray Line after the tour to speak to anyone else. They dropped us straight to our hotel so they wouldn't have to deal with our feedback. Traveled February 2019

Professional and courteous. Entertainment included from very knowledgeable driver. Very comfortable and smooth ride. Coach was well maintained and clean. Well worth the money. Definitely will use again

Today was fantastic!! Thank you Thomas at Gray Line Bus tour in Las Vegas, Nevada for making my first visit to the Hoover Damn and Grand Canyon an experience I will never forget. Thomas, you were very entertaining which made the drive to each site go by quickly. I enjoyed the way you incorporated humor into explaining bus policies and the educational audio that explained the history behind each site. I can’t wait to use your tour company again on my next visit. Keep up the good work Thomas!!

Sonya Traylor

Took the west rim tour with Thomas as the bus driver/tour guide. Thomas is the best. He is very knowledgeable and entertaining. His enthusiasm just turned up the trip another notch. Thomas showed a genuine love and care for everyone on his bus. Thank you so much GrayLine. I had an awesome time.

John Sinski

Excellent trip to the Grand Canyon. Less time could be spent at the GL visitors center where they attempt to sell you more tours. Good value for price paid. Our driver Thomas was excellent.

Steve Nguyen

Well organize. Although our hotel is out of the way and they don't provide pick up at our hotel, but they still provive a bus pick up around the corner. This beyond my expectation because we are planning to drive to their location

Darren McDowall-USA

Picked up from next to hotel, lifted and laid. Great tour guide. I upgraded on the day to the VIP tour for $100 extra. I would recommend this as the sheer size of the standard tour would have made for a much longer and uncomfortable queuing experience.

Margaret Forler

What a nice day we had. Our driver Mike was courteous, funny and did his best to stay on time. The greyline bus was clean and comfortable. Seeing the Hoover Dam was moving. A real piece of American ingenuity and manpower. The chocolate factory was a plus and we came out with some delicious chocolates. But the best part of our tour was the helicopter ride over Lake Mead and the Colorado River, it was our first time flying. Papillon Grand Canyon helicopter tours get an A +

I must say, Grayline was the bus that picked us at at our resort to take us to our location for the Grand Canyon. We were on time and the bus was early. It was comfortable. The Next bus we got on to go to the Grand Canyon, we had a good time. The tour guy Dwayne was funny and kept the people laughing. He gave us some background regarding things along the way. Overall, we had a good time.

Sharon Newton

The trip was great to & from the Grand Canyon. We left at 5:30 am & return on very tired at 6:30 pm but the bus company moved us to third bus to drop everyone off at their hotels all around Las Vegas. We did not get to our hotel until after 8 pm which was way too long for a 70 year old & 2 kids.

My Vegas Vacation was phenomenal because of the wonderful Experience we got from our tour bus driver by the name of MIKE. He has the best Costumer Service of all. This guy is the reason why your company stands out.Very particular with safety for passengers and will not leave any stones unturned when it comes to it. He is very funny and kept us all laughing and giggling during our ride to Hoover Dam. I am already recommending your service to all my friends here in Canada. I wish that you keep up your Very Excellent Service to everyone. And for Mike, a Standing Ovation!!! Thank you and i will definitely be doing a Tour Guide with you again.

Had a large group at 3 different hotels, they said they could pick is all up. Come to find out it was on 2 different buses! Nobody said that. Second we were to get lunch, nobody said where and when we found out and got there they said we would be there 2-2 1/2 hours before the bus came back!!! That was because 6 people who were going to take the helicopter tour got cancelled so the bus was taking them back to vegas. We were supposed to be back at 5 now they are saying not till 7 and we have dinner plans and tickets to a show we might miss part of!!!! Disappointing!!

kim h

Best ride to the Grand Canyon. Really fun and attentive driver, Dwight.

Michael Middleton

What a disaster . Went about 15 miles and the rear tire shredded . And the knuckle head driver stops in the slow lane of the freeway NO hazard lights. Gets out and walks around to the rear wheels while still in the slow lane. Could have killed us all , no common sense to pull off the highway on to the shoulder. Cars are flying by honking their horns.. Then spent 50 minutes at Firestone tires while the jerks with no sense of urgency made us wait outside in 105 degree heat. Finally after I pulled out the spare and yelled at the numbskulls , then they sent out the kid to install the spare. 5 minute job Thanks clueless Firerstone. Now we are one hour behind schedule. Save your money and go to the south rim.

1st of all we had incorrect information. My Fiance called before the day before to find out where we would be picked up at our hotel and time. We got yo the pick up area 20 minutes before pick up. Waited over 45 minutes no bus he called they told us to go to the other side of the hotel we walk over got there 2 minutes later and the bus was not there. He called again they told us the driver could not wait. We got in our car drove 15 minutes they didn't ask if we had a way to get there. Then we got there they told us the bus will not take us back to get our car when we get back. Only to find out at the same time it will be a 16 hour day. It's a lot of wasted time and all rushed. We were on this bus that is totally packed to capacity no tour guide the driver Henriki was the only person and you could hardly understand him. would not recommend this company to anyone.l and advise travelers to check google reviews not only trip adversaries as you dont get a full review. I read Google while sll this craziness was going on and realize this is how this company does business and show no remorse to their clients. WILL NOT RECOMMEND there are other companies that goes to the Grand Canyon in Vegas.

Denise Kendall

Our driver was Juan and he was great!! Took a tour of the Hoover Dam/ Grand Canyon. He was knowledgeable about the canyon and the people near the canyon. Great driver with a great attitude. Definitely would advise Juan for any travel with Gray Line Las Vegas

Sandy Rankin

This was the BEST tour place we ever went on. Took it to the Skywalk. The employees were absolutely the best. Would definitely recommend them in Las Vegas for any tour.

Jared Lewis

Excellent tour! Our 11 year old son really enjoyed the sights! Thomas Lewis was a great tour guide and driver ! Excellent service! Thanks for everything !

Jane Folkert

Very disappointed. We took the $100 per person up grade on the Hoover Dam West Rim your.. (200$) NOT worth it!!!Pretty much an expensive ride in a van. Audio poor. Unsure if there was supposed to be a video as this part stopped? Maybe screen not working? Loud noisy interior. Mercedes van really not that nice. Van rattled inside the whole trip. Everyone was not on same time line so we were waiting on one couple to get to van for departure back to Vegas. Driver not very informative or helpful. We were hoping for “tour guide” with knowledge, helpful hints and history. Would not use Graylines again. Should have read reviews better. Wish we could get our money back! One positive we thought the views were beautiful! Natures Best!

Laurie H

This day trip to the west rim of the Grand Canyon was awesome. Thomas was our driver. He was really nice and knowledgeable. Kept the bus entertained. He did a great job at explaining what time we were going to be back to the hotel and how long we had at each stop.... basically, everyone was based on the passengers timeliness getting back to the bus. Thanks for getting us there safely Thomas!!!

John Pitchford

We had Derek in his smaller Mercedes "bus" which was much better and faster than the huge tour buses. Derek was a great driver/host!

Liz Jones

Fun. Learned alot and had free time as well as structured time

Lourdes Grace Esteves

Time schedule was strictly implemented The driver was courteous, helpful a bit witty, too. He drove safely n carefully. Bus was clean and orderly LUNCH was great! Ample choices complete with salad, water and desert

William Naese

They were not able to get us to the bus station on time. The tour was good.

Amei-lee Jannelle

Our bus broke down for close to three hours but that wasn’t a big deal. My family is pretty easy going. They also refunded the money we paid to upgrade our tour and sent me a letter for a discount any tour we purchase in the future. A very well managed response to a problem! An added bonus because we were so late getting to the Grand Canyon (which is beautiful) we got photos of the Grand Canyon at sunset.

John Duckett

Nice and inexpensive a great way to see Vegas.

Lin Collins

Expensive gimmick. Rent a car and take yourself wherever you want to go. Spent 6 hours driving and less than 1 1/2 hours at the dam and lookout points. Driver was great, he was just doing his job but we didn't pay to spend time at a transfer center. They don't tell you that the 4 hour tour includes picking up and dropping off at each hotel.

Ranjana Das

I just love grey line the way they take care of each tourist. They are very organized.

Nilesh Gharat

Good tour of Hoover dam with enough time to explore. Timely pickup from hotel. Drop off took long due to traffic and could be planned better
