Beautiful place, views are amazing and the exhibits were informative. Definitely worth the visit if your in the area!! My kids 11 and 8 had a good time.

The place was closed, gated up, and heavily secured as if it has been closed for a while.

Drove up from Lincoln, NE. Found that even though the hours posted were 8a - 4p, that the visitors center is closed for the season with no documentation on what date it will reopen. Severely disappointed!

Very nice facility but they exhibits were a little on the small side. Great view of the dam and surrounding area. The Ranger was very friendly and helpful. Not a must see but glad we stopped you can also get a tour of the power plant hydro electric we did not have time for that

The films were good & the theater comfortable. The views were awesome. The rangers were knowledgeable & enthusiastic. The displays were dated but in great shape. The whole place was immaculately clean. Nice gift shop. It was free.

If you are near Gavins Point Dam you really need to take the time to tour the Visitors Center. There is a lot of interesting information there.

Very nice, well informed people, beautiful views. A must stop... Check out the Gavin's Point Dam Tour and lunch at the Dam Fish Shack for a quick lunch and fun time while you're there

This was a a little out of the way for us but we decided to cross the river and check it out. Very glad we did. The exhibits and presentation are good quality and the staff were knowledgeable and friendly. The view was scenic and beautiful. This is a perfect stop if you are on the Lewis and Clark trail.

Quick stop, but worth it! There was a guy dressed as a Corp of Discovery member demonstrating and many exhibits to look at. The overlook of the Gavins Point Dam was impressive.
