2nd trip I've had on Delta. Flight was delayed 4x. Not a problem for me as I didn't have a connecting flight. Once on the plane the pilot apologized and explained the original pilot had food poisoning and it took them a while to get another pilot etc. Flight and attendants were all gracious.

Everyone one I spoke to was rude! I read everything thing when I fly I was never told they don't take cash for luggage. When I got to the counter and started I was paying for my bag alone. She stated that will be 25 dollars. I gave her cash, she got an attitude told me I had to by this card. That cost an extra 5 dollar on top of the now 50 that I had to spend. Because it was just better to pay for my fiance bags also. When go back to the counter she talk under her breath. It was four in the morning and God said let it go. The fact that I had to pay for the luggage was not the issue. The issues was the counter staff was rude and spoke very demanding to my and act like I was bother her! It's your job to help me! Not get an attitude we you don't want to do it!

My trip at Christmas was the first time with an emotional support animal. I had all necessary paperwork and there were no problems with Delta. I would also give them added stars for the military lounge they open during the Christmas holiday season in the Atlanta airport. I have visited with my husband and sons and it is just a wonderful place to relax, eat, and meet other military members and families. The patch and coin displays are really nice.

I am actually in tears right now from the way Delta Airlines has treated me the past week. I don’t often get this upset about a company, but I think it is very important to share with people negative experiences so that they can be warned before purchasing from certain businesses. The treatment I have received after courteously trying to explain my necessity for a refund of a ticket is unacceptable and this experience will be reminded by me forever. I will absolutely never purchase flight tickets from Delta again and will advise all reading this to avoid working with this company. They do not offer refunds on flights months before the day of the flight. They also will not authorize partial refunds or resceduling your trip which almost ANY OTHER AIRLINE will do for you. When booking your tickets, they word it as if you can cancel UP TO 24 hours before your flight but it’s actually only up to 24 hours after you purchase the ticket. It’s all a trick to get more money out of you. Very disappointed and genuinely sad because of the financial stress this has caused my family. I just hope this post will help prevent it from happening to more people.
