We have the opinions of people who have information of the products and services of Crane Trust Nature & Visitor Center (Travel Agency) in the state of Nebraska.
Currently the business gets a score of 4.6 stars out of 5 and that rating was based on 273 reviews.
As you can read, its rating is almost the best one, and it's founded on a very large number of reviews, so we may be pretty sure that the assessment is quite reliable. If there are many people who bothered to leave their review when they are happy, is that it works.
You know that we don't usually stop to set evaluations when these are correct and we usually do it only if we've had a problem or incidence...
This Travel Agency corresponds to the category of Visitor center.
Worth the stop just off the interstate. A terrific resource for information & factoids you probably didn't know!
Worthwhile stop for the nature and bird enthusiasts. Knowledgeable employees, beautiful artwork, informative displays and hiking trails. They have it all.
Very nice place to visit. Staff members are all very helpful.
A wonderful way to spend an entire day!
Enjoyed
Absolutely Amazing. A must see
Nice facility, friendly staff, and great location.
Interesting. Very knowledgeable.
This is a great place to gaze upon Nebraska's beauty. I'd suggest going in and checking everything out.
I'm a credit card
Interesting to learn about the migration. Wonderful local art on display. Well worth the stop.
We went for a sunrise sandhill crane viewing with Trust. Great trip with helpful guides.
Really a wonderful experience.
Gives an excellent overview of the Sandhill Cranes. Also beautiful art.
안내소의 직원들이 매우 친절합니다. 센터 밖의 트레일은 아름다운 플레트 강의 전망과 함께 두루미 탐조하기 좋은 곳입니다.
Love this place nice trails and great information.
Great place
Great place!!!
Nice place to visit.
Incomparable. One must visit the Crane Trust and roosting grounds of Sandhill Cranes. Major community undertaking. If you're lucky you may even get to see a Whooping Crane.
This area is the only place in the world that you see the migration of Sandhills roosting on Platte River. Great nature walk where you find bison and many other bird species.
Awesome trail to walk on and sites to see. Wonderful customer service and guided tours.
Cranes and more cranes - nothing better than that
It was amazing to see all of the cranes and snow geese. Definitely a great experience.
This was an impromptu stop for us while traveling through the area and it was completely worth it. At the visitor center we were given directions where to drive around and see the Cranes close by, we even a saw a Bald Eagle. Next time through we will plan ahead to attend a tour and spend more time watching the Cranes.
Very memorable experience watching cranes and these folks are very knowledgeable.
Amazing!
Loved it
Informative and inviting.
Such a beautiful respite!
Informative with info on where to go look
Very neat place to check out. Lots of info about the Cranes.
This is a beautiful place and everybody should visit!!
Definitely would be better durning the crane season, but informative and nice walk.
A great place to visit in early spring. Learn about the cranes and explore nature.
Very neat
Neat place in March and April crane migratiom time!
Always a great place to learn and see Nebraska wildlife!
Very nice. Staff exceptional. Going back.
Nice place, your backyard is on fire.
Interesting
Helpful people and great art work.
Outstanding!
Very interesting. Friendly people
Drive by only
Great place to stop on I80. Stop in and learn about Sandhill Cranes and other native Nebraska wildlife. They have an informative video, helpful staff, and a display of art by local artists. They have hiking trails & wildlife observation areas. The best time to visit is in the spring during the sandhill crane migration.
If going for bird watching, be prepared to dress for the occasion. Even though there is no snow around, the temperatures plummet once sun sets and will freeze you to death where its hard to feel your limbs. Wrap yourself in warm clothing and be patient when watching birds from the cabins.
Awesome place as usual. They offer a lot of hiking trails, a foot bridge where you cam walk onto the Platte if it's dry and you can get on the sand bar, and of course, the cranes!!! It's a beautiful place right off the interstate. It's a hidden gem!
Nothing special. The drinking fountains don't work
Amazing. Make reservations for the tours early as they fill up quickly. The volunteer guides are very nice and their enthusiasm is contagious. Nice gift shop.
a must see
Excellent!
Interesting to watch Sandhill Cranes Worth a trip
Outstanding facility
This is a wonderful site near the annual gathering of sandhill cranes on the Platte River (just south of Grand Island, NE). Very informative staff and displays, lovely gift shop with beautiful books and prints, and a small herd of bison within walking distance for viewing/ photographing. There are viewing sites on the river arranged for best views and photographs of cranes during the height of their northern flight-- toward the end of February and through most of March.
Very educational and the people there are very passionate about the cranes and their big migration.
Wonderful and friendly staff. Very knowledgeable!
Awesome
ok place. there is a small crane exhibit and a small souvenir shop. more than half the building was dedicated to an art gallery which was really just a high priced photo and painting store.
Love the people that work there very friendly and knowledgeable, awesome bird watching area
Very cool, did the morning blind viewing and was able to view the cranes as they left their night time roost
The Cranes were amazing. The nature trust is clean, we'll staffed, and educational! ! My family enjoyed this trip.
The work this foundation performs is important. The facility is educational. Gift shop is very nice. What really makes it special is the volunteers!
Great to see and experience.
Perfect place to see the eclipse and see the sunrise
Beautiful area and very informative! Great volunteer staff!
So much information, knowledgeable volunteers, art gallery, short film, gift shop and walking trails. Blinds can be reserved here. Really top notch.
Museum-like displays, insightful & very well-educated interpreter of info, video room with photo display on walls, large gallery of art for sale, nice shop, and enticing nature area outside.
This country needs more places like this.
Really fun stop for us and our kids! Lots to see and explore. Very nice and knowledgeable staff. Convenient stop if you are traveling on I-80.
A once in a lifetime experience you must not miss!
Good stuff every one shoulder see.
A great place to visit for viewing the Sandhill Crane migration.
Worth a stop when traveling this area. Pleasant nature trails. Good video about the cranes. Many stuffed species from the area on display.
Welcoming, knowledgeable, friendly staff.
As a nature lover and native of Nebraska I always enjoy my time at Crane Trust Nature Center. Our blind tour on the evening of March 1 was amazing our guides were very knowledgeable and enjoy what they do. We had a spectacular viewing with a bonus of a stunning full moon! This is a wonderful time of the year to enjoy the beauty, sights and sounds of the Sandhill Crane migration in Nebraska! You don't want to miss it!
Very informative center. Staff knowledgeable of the site and happy to be working there. Thanks for the time
Stopped by during the Sandhill Crane migration. The staff was extremely friendly and very knowledgeable about the migration path and the cranes. They have a nice walking path so you can go out by the river and spot some cranes and also a couple buffalo. They even gave us directions on where to go to get some good looks at the cranes, along with some advice to keep us and the cranes safe. It really was great experience.
I loveMarch beautiful Cranes arrive and this is like a education, gift shop, art gallery, great food and walking trails. It is a must see
A must stop place if you are on the lookout for Sandhill Cranes. The staff there is knowledge about the population of birds in the area and will point you to the best viewing route.
Absolutely loved it. Wanted to go on a tour but they were sold out :( plan in advance!
Very worthwhile stopping.
Great place in nature center along with a lot of great art and staff. Some really good hikes also.
Fantastic knowledgeable people and lotta birds!
Want to see cranes, it's the place to go.
Excellent facility and very knowledgeable and enthusiastic tour guides. The river blind tour could not have been better. Experiencing the thousands and thousands of cranes in person is a must!
Lovely visitor center. The trails are fun especially in the summer.
Very nice tourist attraction for local wildlife.
This place is so cool, and never knew it was there. A place so Awsome and a place that everyone should see. They do a remarkable job of keeping this beautiful natural place for you and me. Go see it
This is a site to see. Absolutely fabulous.
The museum is informative. However, plan on coming while the cranes are migrating. They offer guided tours.
Place has no cranes. They'd already left so I used the restroom and went back to the coach. My wife went inside to look around and enjoyed the interior. No dogs on the birding trails. Bummer.
Was awesome! Off my bucket list now.
Not much to see it's not crane season.
Nice art work this weekend. Lot of traffic. Ran out of cinnamon rolls but the information was good. Good place to observe birds
Staff was very friendly and helpful and it was very informative.
Very friendly and knowedgeable staff, great morning tour viewing the cranes
Has a nice trail to see the bison herds. They also keep a few bisons near the building. The center has very friendly and very knowledgeable staff. They gave us good info about places to visit in Nebraska Has a nice art and photo gallery as well.
Was great and informing
I could spend my weekends here. It is a wonderful place for the entire family and the staff is so pleasant and willing to share all of their knowledge. I can"t wait to get out on the trails! Thank you for creating such an amazing experience.
Enthusiastic staff. A nice presentation about the Crane migration.
Wonderful experience seeing all of the Cranes migrate!
Very nice and educational.
Provides a wealth of knowledge for anyone wanting to learn about the annual crane migration through Nebraska, or about much of the local habitat and wildlife. Can be very crowded during the migration.
Great place to visit and learn all about Sand Hill Cranes and Whooping Cranes. Friendly and informative staff. Nice video presentation. We'll have to return to see the spring migration in March.
It was our first visit to this visitor center. The employees / volunteers were all very friendly and helpful. We got great directions to areas that cranes had been spotted in during the day. Got out and saw a lot of birds.
Interesting and fun
Nice place to learn about the Sandhill Cranes. They sold wonderful nature paintings and photos.
It's free
Extremely interesting.
Upon arrival, you are immediately greeted by some nice folks at the welcome desk. They will describe the layout of the site and help you with any questions. The artwork in the building is amazing. There is a nice area to watch a video on the cranes. The gift shop is cool. We especially liked a docent by the name of Catfish. He was filled with awesome information on cranes, wildlife, and the entire area. It felt like chatting with an old friend. It was a little flooded, so we couldn't explore the full extent of the trails. But in the short expanse we could explore we saw a number of songbirds, snow geese, Sandhill Cranes, buffalo, red fox, and even cows actively giving birth! It was a very fun time!
They have a friendly knowledgeable staff, a really cute gift shop and amazing artwork from local artists. You can walk a trail and get a feeling of the plains back in the day. Have a cup of coffee and sit and watch how many birds come to the feeders. The cranes are only there early spring. It’s still worth a stop. It’s a very clean, nice place.
It is amazing to see all of the cranes at once. Pictures don't do it justice and it is something you have to experience at least once in your life and this is the best place to go.
Great Crane experience! Buffalo too!
Beautiful facility, great short accessible beautiful trail. Lots of educational and art experiences.
Wonderful place!!!! Very helpful and educational!
Great birding around back.
I like the Crane Trust. Yet I miss the Crane Trust fun run.
The Cane Trust provided good guidance on viewing the huge sandhill crane migration to the farm land and Platte River near Grand Island NE that occurs annually.
A must-see for burgers and nature lovers during the month of March.
Gem! Nature trails along the Platte River... so peaceful and restorative. Not even "off the beaten path" we stumbled upon it while refueling. Ended up taking a 1.5 mile hike to stretch our legs and take a break on our journey.
One of the highlights of my recent vacation!
Really helpful and knowledgeable staff! Great place to stop!
Alot to see , really enjoyed it
A nice stop just off I-80. Pretty quiet outside of the Spring migration season in March. Lots of information and a good movie about their conservation efforts.
Museum and Crane Preserve - great place to see the Sandhill Cranes migrating.
Great experience!
Knowledgeable, friendly volunteers and staff. Outstanding Speakers Series in March. Of course, the stars of the season, Sandhill Cranes, performed their magic again!!
Great place keel it going
A wonderful spot to learn about the crane migration and the Platt River. Our 3 year old loved the video and insisted on watching it 3 times.
Very nice staff. They are all extremely helpful and well informed. Enjoyed a nice brisk winter walk.
Always a great experience at the Crane Trust Nature Center! Bring the whole family and watch the cranes, check out the exhibits and have fun!
A must have in your bucket list!
nice preserve.
Very nice gift shop. You can book blinds for March craneviewing.
Must stop! We were on a cross country roadtrip and this place was such a treat! I loved the little gift shop and happy to hear that many products went to a good cause!
I have rented a blind from them twice now and am hoping to do so again in 2020. The visitor's center is incredible - very well done. Their overnight blinds are in a great location on the south side of the river with multiple options that give you the ability to get some great images without the birds having any clue you are among them. You should definitely make time to see the crane migration at least once in your life. It's unforgettable seeing thousands of birds coming into roost for the night or leaving in the morning, to say nothing of their courting antics which are as silly as they are complex. The Crane Trust gives great opportunities to fit anyone's budget so you can enjoy the cranes while also supporting an organization designated to help protect them.
Awesome place and Staff.
