I rode a Greyhound bus one time, and after my experience, I'll never ride with them again. I rode out of the York station to State College. The prices weren't unreasonable, but station was dirty and dismal. Even in a fairly safe part of York City, I felt unsafe, and I was glad I had my male friend with me since he dropped me off. The ride itself was uneventful, but the thing that absolutely sealed the deal for me was when I received a text from an unknown number some time into my trip. The man who had texted me identified himself as the teller at the York station. He'd saved my cell phone number from when I gave my contact information at the ticket booth, and was soliciting inappropriate conversation, asking repeatedly for explicit pictures and dialogue. He was persistent in his communication to me, even after I told him to stop texting my number and threatened to call corporate. I ended up having to block his number myself because my threats didn't phase him. When I met my husband at my destination, I immediately called their customer service number to report what had happened. I was passed around to THREE separate operators, having to tell and retell the incident to each, before they simply hung up on me. Greyhound does NOT value their customers' safety, privacy, or feedback!! After my experience, I can assure you, I will NEVER ride another Greyhound bus for as long as I live.

Worst customer service. Waited 6 hours past my scheduled departure. Employees are rude and NOT helpful. They didnt even know where my bus was for 2 hours.

The person who gave my partner his tickets should have checked and ticketed his bag instead of only weighing both bags. Tickets should match the trip ticket. My partners luggage was lost or stolen some where along one of the transfers. Hes been in another state 4 days with no cloths to change. greyhound corprate doesnt have a clue what happened to his bag.

Coming from Pa is always a hassle.You get to Pa on time from Richmond but to get there from Pa there is delays and other things that hold u up.They used to be great but lately they have no clue

Its 2018 and the condition of this terminal is absolutely disgusting! I'm glad we could sit in my car to wait for the bus to arrive as my friend needed to use this service. So sad to see that this building is not well kept.

Do not ride Greyhound. They do no guarantee you getting to your destination on time. Our connecting bus did not show up, so we had to buy another ticket from the terminal just so we can get to our destination on time. They will make you run through hoops to get a partial refund. I would never ride them again.

This little station is nuts!! Was on a Saturday and it was busy, the bus that we needed was sold out!! Are you for real!! Then when I asked for the tickets for tomorrow morning she wanted 147$ and online it was only 67$ I told them to go screw they selves!!

The only way Greyhound exists is because it's a monopoly. Of ~50+ trips I've had over the years I'd estimate only 15 would have amounted as not absolutely horrible. From rude drivers, strung out/belligerent clientele, late buses, no show buses .... Unfortunately for me it is often necessary. Come on competitors...

Малък, но уютен и чист офис. Определено старо обзавеждане, но поддържано чисто. Тоалетната е една и е смесена. Ключа е при служителя на билетното гише. След употреба трябва да се изгасят светлините ( не са автоматични) и да му се върне ключа. В салона има разни машини, от които може да си вземете това онова.

Extremely uncomfortable place, and boarding busses is poorly organized. Grayhound is not a well managed company, so I guess one should expect that its stations will be places where humans are treated like just more garbage the company has to put up with.

While the Greyhound Bus Station on North George Street in York Pennsylvania is on the United States Department of the Interior's list of historic places unfortunately it's in an area of the city where there's activity of drug dealing and use as the evidence of such I saw around the benches outside one of which was a cardboard box from a pocket digital scale. You'll have to be careful at the station as you'll get a lot of disheveled sketchy looking people coming up to you noticeably going through drug withdraw asking for a cigarette and hinting that they're broke and need money without actually asking for a monetary handout. It's a shame this goes on around a historical building.
