Unhappy with service Andre from Time Travels was difficult to work with since we were interested in choosing from among package options. Be prepared if you work with her to take whatever package she recommends, and if you don't she may 1) stereotype your line of work, 2) swear at you on the phone, and 3) eventually slam the phone and hang up on you. My wife and I were part of a wedding party for a destination wedding. We reached out over email to Andre for various options: length of stay, room options, day of week, etc. She replied by sending us a pre-baked package for four days on dates we did not specify. We thanked her for sending an example package, and asked how the package would change if we stayed +1 day, or flew non-stop instead of a layover, or left after work instead of taking a day off? She stopped replying by email. We followed up by phone since she held the wedding block at our hotel. She was very unfriendly to inquiry repeating "this is the best package + best price" and trying to influence us "you /need/ to make a decision". It required a lot of patience to not get angry with her on the phone. We stayed cool however because we wanted to find the best package with her more than make a point. As we were nearing booking the package the following week, the price went up (not her fault) and so we asked her to reduce number of days to compensate. She sent us a package for more days than we asked, and told us to call her. On the ensuing call she was again angry and proceeded to swear and push us to make a decision. When we said we still wanted the shorter stay for cost, she went into a tirade culminating in her slamming the phone and hanging up on us. Proceed with caution. We would like to have gotten the reduced cost of booking the wedding block, but not having Andre talk down to us is a welcome circumstance.

All I can say is I guess all of these rave reviews have gone to Andre's head. My experience was quite different. I get the idea that Andre knows her business, but her emails to us were standoffish, condescending and almost insulting at times. She dismissed what I told her we wanted, substituting what she felt we should want instead. She demanded $200 (nonrefundable) upfront and declined to define her services and fees when I requested her to do so. When I asked for a quote on a specific property she told me I could "check it myself." Not exactly the kind of treatment we were looking for while we're planning our destination wedding.

This may be a great travel agency, but I did not feel listened to during our phone conversation. I did not wish to put any money down upfront before hearing anything about prices, package options or potential dates. Andre told me that she doesn't work for free (who does), which I completely understand. All I wanted to know was some price ranges and potential options, which I have received from several travel agents without payment upfront. I'm certainly not wanting to cheat anyone, time is money. However, I felt discouraged by our conversation. I will say that communication was prompt, and I received both phone and email correspondence which was appreciated. Just didn't feel like this was the agent for me. Update: The owner's response is exactly why I chose not to work with this company. If you look at other reviews, anything people said about Andre that wasn't extremely positive received a snide comment.

Andre' is so passionate about making sure her clients have the best experience possible on their vacation. She is very knowledgable about group rates and if you and your family are thinking about making great memories you should call Andre' for the best experience. Why do it yourself if you can have an expert do it. It's the only way to go.

André planned an absolute dream honeymoon for my husband and I!! We spent two weeks in Europe visiting Barcelona, Spain and Sorrento, Florence, and Rome, Italy. She was very knowledgeable about all the cities and gave great advice on hotels, tour groups, and general site seeing. All of our hotels were smack in the center of the city which made getting around very easy. Our rides were prearranged to and from airports and train stations which really alleviated a lot of the stress of commuting between bustling European cities. This was the European honeymoon we dreamed of and couldn’t have done it without André and Time Travels, Inc. We have recommended her to several of our friends who had amazing trips as well. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone! She has been in the business a long time and really knows her stuff. She will give you her honest advise, listen to what you want, and help plan the trip of your dreams!

If I could give no stars, I would. I would never recommend Andre or Time Travels to anyone. It got so ugly that I had to demand Apple Vacations to no longer have me communicate with Andre and to work directly with them. She at first comes off like she is an expert but I really do not think she has any idea how to be creative or listen to her customer's needs. We had never worked with a travel agent before and so thought this was how things were done. Next time (though I don't plan on marrying again!) we would have interviewed several travel agents and tried to find one we better connected with. I never really entirely warmed up to her but we were nervous we were losing time on getting our wedding planned. And Andre was a part of making us think we didn't have time when we had more than enough time. Andre is arrogant, completely rude, disrespectful and disorganized. We lost out on incentives due to her mistreating our friends and family and them having to book elsewhere. I have never had anyone treat us as poorly as she did. She didn't understand that having an email trail was helpful and did not understand that some people preferred to email and kept getting mad at us for not calling, but when we called she talked forever and it took too long. In a nutshell: Called me a horrible person Delayed to no response to friends and family multiple times Told one of my friends she can't help him and hung up on him Hung up on me Pressured friends and family to book immediately If you wanted to deviate from the packages she set she was mad or completely unhelpful She also doesn't accept feedback well. When I told her that we probably should part ways (after hearing the millionth complaint from our friends) and I need to find a solution she completely flipped out on me, said some of the meanest things a person has ever said to me and just lost it. Afterwards then she tried to guilt me and said that she really wants to help us, etc. You think I really want to talk to you ever again after you told me I suck? Yeah right. I can go on. I would never, ever, ever, wish how she treated us on anyone. Stay far away.

My family uses Time Travels Inc. every year for our Christmas vacation. All I can really say is that Andre knows her stuff! For the four consecutive years I've used her service, she has outdone herself each time! Every trip she plans is lavish and fulfills every need I could possible have. She is easy to work with and after getting to know her and spending time on the phone with her she definitely understood my needs. Andre understands how much communication needs to happen between her and her clients and I really love how passionate of a planner she is. I always send my friends to her and they always come back happy!

I highly recommend Andre to help with any international trip! She assisted me with my first international trip and really helped direct us through the entire process -- from brainstorming where to go to the booking of flights, lodging and recommending activities. She took away a lot of the stresses or worries one could have along the way as we knew everything was taken care of. She is prompt with her communication and quick with action. If I could rate with 0 stars I would. She was absolutely rude on the phone. I wasn't ready to book anything quite yet, just had a couple questions. Andre had rude tone and slammed the phone on me before I was even done talking because I wasn't going to book. I would highly recommend finding someone else to help.

Andre at Time Travels Inc. planned a really fun trip for me to Mexico where I was photographing a wedding. Dealing with her was stress free and she was able to coordinate my lodging to be close to where the bride and groom were staying so it was easy to coordinate photos. I had never stayed on an all-inclusive resort before, it was nice to have the security of a safe in my room to store my camera equipment and the finished photos. Not to mention all the great free food and drinks!
