Fantastic park with lots of parking and easy access at the side of the road to the river and lake where you can do some fishing. Plenty of parking and children's activities and climbing frames. Great location to look across the lake and enjoy the scenery. Conveniently located close to downtown you can even walk to the local restaurants. Definitely recommend coming here with friends and family.

The giant Paul Bunyan statue is worth the visit! It's a fairly quiet park when events aren't happening. Lots of parking and great spot for pictures.

Its a fun place to be and perfect for kids of all ages and itss in a great place cause if your kids get tired you can just take them across the street to big river scoop especially on a hot day. Theres a lot of fun things to do you can also just take a walk from this park to diamond if you want some excercise. Theres also a few places to dip your toes into the lake to cool down. Definitely a place I recommend.

Although the characteristic statues of Paul Bunyan and his ox are the main attraction of this Park, it's also a nice place for a walk or to sit and enjoy the breeze and some food. Well equipped, there is also a small centre with restrooms and some info of the place.

This park is one of the main symbols of Bemidji and is a must see for anyone traveling through or visiting. It is always a good place to go to during the summer, with a dock, a playground, a fountain and of course Paul and Babe. During the winter the nearby hills by the Carnagie Library are great for simple sledding. This is also were the one of the lake access points for lake Bemidji are (during the winter at least.)

Super fun park. My kids love it. BUT it's easy to lose sight of kids, which is a little nerve racking, especially since it is typically a very busy park. The big disc swing, roller slide, and Merry-go-round are my kid's favorites. From my 1 year old to 10 year old, everyone has fun. Just bring an extra adult if you have multiple kids so you can keep eyes on everyone.

You have not visited Bemidji until you see Paul Bunyan and Babe. The visitor center is staffed by friendly and informative people who are willing to take time to inform everyone about what is happening in town.

Fun place to get a pic of Paul and Babe. There's a little tourist info area, a fun playground for the kids, and plenty of shops. If you are in the Paul Bunyan mood, dont forget to check out Akeley's statue.

Very nice play area for children with all kinds of limits. They seemed to have added more to the play area this season but it seems they may have also lost a big swing. It's pretty clean considering it is an outdoor area and they maintain the lawn and collect trash regularly. The gazebos are very nice and welcoming. It is too bad they don't have more tables outside the visitor center.

Must-stop site for the classic Minnesota vacation photo. Plus great playground for the kids, nice interpretive center that sent us off to drop some money at the Bemidji Woolen Mills for blankets and shirts. Lovely views of the lake. Beware the scavenging gulls reminiscent of the Hitchcock film.

A must stop when you visit Bemidji. The Paul Bunyan center is hilarious. Also there is a semi secret Minnesota picture challenge in which you get your photo take by all the Bunyan statues and a few others.

This is the Bemidgi key attraction and they continue to invest in it. There are public bathrooms and there is a brand new playground in 2017 that is really nice. Almost always kids there year round and also an electric vehicle charging station. Great place to stop after 4 hours in the car or if you love in town

Okay, Paul & Babe are what makes people stop here, but there's more! Loved the place for the staff at the welcome center, she was helpful & interesting. Note the fireplace! It was built by the WPA during the Depression (Government spending= government investing in citizens & communities!)- and the craftspeople used materials from all the states in the union at the time.

My husband always loved the the story of Paul Bunyan and Babe the blue ox. When I found out this town was his home I got excited. We were on a quick trip here so we didn't have time to explore, but we visited this park and can't wait to come back to see everything else. What a neat little place. The lady working was kind and full of information. She actually had friends that were in our how town visiting. What a neat coincidence. There were lots of neat things to look at too. Restrooms and facility was clean.

This park is ok. It's interactive with the new music instruments and such but there isn't a bathroom. The visitor center has one but they are not always open. It's difficult to get a person with limited mobility to that building in a timely manner and it's a far distance for little ones.

Plus the Chamber of Commerce has a great visitor center located right near by with information on everything you might want to do in the area. And there is an ice cream shop across the street.
