We paid for five tickets, but they lost the money for 1 ticket in their system. I found this out after arriving at the airport at 3 in the morning after my luggage was checked in around 4am. I had to miss 2 flights (6:30 am and 7:15am) trying to repurchase that last ticket for my sibling; they are disabled and unable to fly alone. While calling Ethiopian airlines (several times) and attempting to purchase the last ticket; the same customer support specialist kept answering and taking their sweet time helping me by talking in circle and treating me like a fool, but easily helping me make the transaction. My luggage was already in Chicago by the time I'd given up on EA. Since EA was no help I had to take an uber at 8 am to Addis travel.I asked them to change my flight to another one for that same day. Then they didn't let us know that we got charged twice for the ticket plus an unreasonable $2,048.00 until the last minute after telling them to check the system for the "lost" ticket several times. They decided to tell me this after my mother reveal that she was fluent in amharic (They were saying disrespectful things about us in amharic because they thought there was a language gap) I would not recommend this agency to anyone. They are very discriminatory and do not care about integrity. I hope they get new employees to replace the current ones. Absolutely absurd. There is no option for "0" stars, therefore one star is the lowest rating I'm able to give.
