My recent trip to Israel and Rome was an excellent experience. Acendas worked with a fantastic company (ground operator) in Israel and I can tell you I felts safe the entire time and I learned so much about history because the guides were terrific. I also use Acendas when traveling to Europe including France and Croatia. I called Acendas while in Croatia at the last minute to get a rental car and my rate was much better than what I could find on line. I appreciate the after hours service and certainly the ability to work through flight and travel delays with the help of travel advisor like Acendas vs booking on line myself which allows me no benefits. I honestly believe booking on line is a mistake because when things go wrong you have no options for resolution.

We were planning a trip to Hawaii and wanted to visit Maui and Kauai. Planning car rentals, hotels and flights between islands was becoming a task and a very expensive trip. I called Acendas and spoke to Christine Miller. It was a pleasure working with her and our vacation was perfectly planned and flawless. Her quote was actually lower that the quote we received from the website we used. I will, without a doubt, contact Acendas for my future trips and would recommend them to everyone.

Colleen was wonderful to work with. She really listened to what we were interested in and then had the knowledge and connections to put our plan into action. Our trip to Italy was amazing. If we would have planned it ourselves or through discount sites like Expedia or Air bnb we would have likely missed out on many experiences and would possibly have probably picked inferior providers. Having Colleen's experience and attention to detail really was the key. The thing I liked most was the door to door planning with private guides. We always felt safe and always had the inside track on the best restaurants and shopping because our guides were local and professional. I give Colleen all the credit for matching us with the best experiences, transportation and tour guides in Italy. My wife and I are so happy we worked with Colleen and we thank her for planning our once in a lifetime experience. We'll definitely be calling her again for any upcoming travel. Grazie Colleen! These reviews are from family members or employees. What a complete joke! Caveat emptor!!! Take a look at the # of reviewers with less than 5 reviews; many with just one! Can you say, fake account??? Nonetheless, you should use Ascendas if: - you want to pay 2-2.5x the actual cost of doing this on your own - you don’t want your travel agent to listen to your preferences - you are unable to use AirBNB - far superior options at.a fraction of the cost - you believe that you can ‘fix stupid’ Find another agency. These folks are poor and I am being generous. Owners need to terminate their ‘manager’ and recoup their losses. Hey, 1981 called, and they want their travel agency back.

Lynna Goldsby has planned four trips for me now. The last trip was a Mediterranean cruise from Barcelona to Venice with a three day add on in Barcelona and three days added at the end of the trip in Florence. Every day was planned with a private tour guide that was knowledgeable and and friendly. I would recommend Lynna for you next travel experience. She’s the best!

Just for what we saved on flights alone it was more than worth it, but what made it great was having all the transportation and lodging already lined up, with top-of-the-line hotels everywhere we went. And the fee they charged was way below what we expected!

I worked with Bryce Baker on a family trip to Europe. There are many factors that distinguished his excellent service. 1. We had an extremely complicated itinerary that Bryce was able to expertly weave together. We visited 9 locations in 6 countries. 2. (not a recommendation, but...) We gave Bryce essentially 1 week before Christmas to plan a 3 week trip immediately after Christmas. 3. Bryce grasped the subtlety of exactly the type of family we were, and what types of places we would enjoy staying in and traveling to. 4. Bryce provided an extremely comprehensive itinerary, that we used as our trip bible. Each day & step was in sequential order... I'd just turn the page, and our next adventure would unfold. 5. Bryce has some of the best sweaters I've ever seen a travel agent wear.

We just returned from two-weeks in Italy and Portugal and I can't imagine a more perfect trip! Every hotel that was chosen by Acendas (and their partner Europe Express) was absolutely wonderful, and it seemed we were also given special rooms/upgrades like a rooftop suite in Rome, a suite in Lisbon when we paid for a double room, etc. I am sure this was due to the relationships of the travel partners. Private transfers were also always timely and a wonderful welcome to a city, and the tours that were planned were led by experts (art history P.H.D. at the Vatican for example). Carol, our Acendas agent, was knowledgeable and patient in helping us decide how many places we could visit in two weeks, and in juggling changing airline schedules. I won't do another big/international trip without the help of Acendas!

Cruise with 17 was handled very poorly by our Acendas travel agent. She confused our names and addresses on reservations, prevented one of us from getting off the ship due to passport misinformation, incorrectly scheduled hotel accommodations, had to remind her of departure date, no follow-up after trip. I spent at least ten hours working with cruise line and agent directly to rectify many errors. Our agent was not interested in helping us, making planning an absolute nightmare.

I knew we picked the right resort when she shared she and her family were also going there for spring break!As our travel approached, she provided additional services I didn't expect - a local swimsuit boutique party for shopping, an on resort contact for pre-booking of activities and a "swag bag". Very disappointing service after we booked. They messed up our names on international travel which caused us major delays. They assumed our kids had two last names. They told us we were booked on a return flight with only a one hour layover and then after I paid my deposit our itinerary changed to a 5 hour layover on a totally different flight and then they couldn’t help us. They booked us in a hotel room that was incredibly too small when the hotel had larger suites for only $70 more per night. Thank goodness we were able to upgrade. And they booked us over a 4 day Canadian holiday weekend, Banff’s busiest weekend of the year, when we had flexibility in our travel dates. Because it was so busy, we were unable to visit famous destinations due to no parking availability.
