Worst bus driver of bus 326. She was very rude. Blocked me in at the main street in New York. I have a video of how rude she spoke and lied to her clients on board and got them too curse me out. I'm very much pleased to have it all recorded. I am going to upload it and show how horrid and ugly this company allows for their drives too treat people. I didn't even cuss her out or tell her anything disrespectful. I did not position myself too deserve this at all.

One of the WORST customer service experiences of my life! Placed an order via their "online ordering"...gave all my info, including contact and credit card info...got a confirmation number and...almost a full day later, got an email stating that the tour didn't have enough available seats to complete my order. Really??? In this day and age, they have an "online" ordering system that requires someone to MANUALLY look over records to see if there is availability??? Absolutely ridiculous. They may as well have a 1970s answering machine that just says "leave a message"! Now, they have all my contact info AND all my card info and I haven't even been able to get my trip booked. Guess what they WILL be able to send me? That's right...I will be spammed until the end of time, I'm sure. The only thing that remotely warned me of this possible overbooking was one line of response AFTER I placed the order and gave all of my secure info. In addition to that, the woman on the phone that I spoke to earlier in the week never had the courtesy to tell me any of this when I called regarding availability. She only said there was enough room and gave me no warning even when I said I had to check with friends and that I would get online to order later in the week. I have to say that this experience had really left me shaking my head. How can a system be so archaic that someone has to manually check things nearly a full day after the fact in order to confirm things? EVERY ticketing site I've ever visited (StubHub, Mets Online and even local area venues such as Troy Savings Bank Music Hall) have all shown you ticket availability in REAL TIME. If you secured the tickets at ordering...great. If not, you were told instantaneously. Now I have to tell my two young boys that we can't take the bus to the game because the tickets really weren't there. Just lovely...needless to say, this is the last time I will be doing business with Yankee Trails.

Went on the Radio City Trip December 7, 2017. The driver Ron and guide Cindy were wonderful. The seats we had for the Rocketts show were horrible. We paid a lot of money for nothing. We sat up in the back so far away we couldn’t see. I felt sorry for the people who have never seen it before especially the children. We booked in 0ctober so you can’t tell me the good seats were taken. The booking agent dropped the ball on this one. This will never happen again. We will find out exactly where are seats are the next time and probably cancel if there bad. Not happy.

A group of 7 seniors left Latham went to Turning Stone on 8/24/16. On this bus their was 2, young ladies that the mother admitted to us that they were 17. They should not have been on a gambling bus trip per Turning Stones regulations. These girls were rude to us. They TOLD us to stop laughing that it was too early and we were annoying them. Their mothers allowed them to talk to us that way even as they screamed "SHUT UP" to us. On the way back this harassment continued even as they changed seats putting other people out of their seats. There was a older man who got on at the same stop (Crossgates)as those girls who we made friends with and sat with us. He was afraid to get off the bus with them. He was scared as he should have been. Your bus driver did absolutely nothing . He heard all the yelling and screaming going on and never said a word or did anything except his tips at the end of the trip. We are very disappointed in this trip that allowed minors. This should have been fun. it will take a lot of convincing for us to use your bus line again.

Awful experience when the office misplaced our tickets to see the Rockettes and made us wait outside in 19 degree weather for 1/2 an hour with two young girls until they figured out their mistake. When we called to voice our concerns the following day their response was what do you want us to do, you ended up making it to your destination. I think someone needs to take another look at their customer service policy.

Before good intentions and motivation fall away like sand between my fingers,, I am pounding out this review as soon as possible while t he emotions from this awesome experience with Yankee Trails while it is still fresh in my mind. I led my program on a round trip tour to the Foxwoods Casino. First of all, I would like to say that my past experience with other bus companies and bus drivers has not been positive, which left me with a lingering disgust and avoidance of such forms of transportation. It has been my past experiences (with companies other than Yankee Trails), that drivers are either shamefully late or have a chip on their shoulders. They are frustrated and appear to exhibit almost bully-like behavior. This does not work for me especially because i live with Asperger's syndrome and have spoken down to for much of my life.. If I wanted to be treated like toxic waste there are plenty of places where I could receive that abuse for free. But this was NOT the case with Yankee Trails and our driver. His name is Charlie and was a gentleman to me as well as the participants of my program. He spoke with a sense of humor and was one-time picking us up from Albany and the Foxwoods Casino! That would have been awesome enough but there is much more. As soon as I walked off the bus and into the casino, I realized an extremely important item was missing. (One of my keys that has fallen off the lanyard I keep around my neck. Fortunately, I had only walked a very short distance and was able to rule out the places it could have been lost. I figured it must still be on the bus but was not sure and went into a state of all-encompassing panic. Yankee Trails informed Charlie after I called and he took the time to diligently look through every crevice of the seat where it was tucked in the space between the two seats. One o f the most massive waves of relief I have ever felt in my entire life swept over me and as I write this review we are watching a hilarious movie on the bus television system to make the trip go faster. Hooray for Charlie, Yankee Trails, and a perfect day! I cannot wait to go on the next trip by myself and will definitely hold onto m y belongings for dear life next time and search my seats at least twice before walking off.. But if God-forbid something happens ever again, i know it will be in good hands!

We were on the Giants vs Dolphins trip 8/12. Our bus driver Cliff was excellent, if only I could say the same for our fellow passengers. This was the second time we have taken one of these trips with Yankee Trails and the bus ride is ruined by a drunken idiot. I know that Yankee Trails cannot control how much people drink while at the stadium, but there really should be no alcohol allowed at all on the bus. Plus this guy lit up a cigarette on the bus when we were like 10 minutes from the stadium. He was worse on the way back, even getting into a fight with another passenger (a woman). I know that the driver has the right to put people off the bus, and I understand that they may be reluctant to do so, but to make the trip miserable for the other 35 or 40 people on the bus is worse.

I would not recommend Yankee Trails. They combine trips on one bus so if you're going for a trip they drop you off and then you have to wait and wait and wait for the people on the other "trip" to finish. The overnight bus trip to Toronto was terrible. We were put up at a suburban hotel in practically the middle of nowhere with no public transportation. We left Friday and by Saturday afternoon we were so bored as they didn't plan anything for us to do. As there was no city to walk around we ended up watching TV in our room which was nothing to speak of. That pretty much ended our vacations with Yankee Trails. Not recommended.

This is possibly the worst bus I have ever rode. It was not quite and relaxing but packed with banter from a bus driver and manager who loved to hear themselves on the Mike. Our cruise landed at 10am and they picked us up by 6:15pm. Now I will say a lady named Beth called the day before the cruise to advise of this change. But that is not nearly enough time to agree or disagree with such a change. I will never ride this bus line again. Also the bus driver found it hilarious to lock us out of the bus while he laughed at us in the rain. Poor customer service at it's finest

Wow, just awful ride home from the cruise port in N.Y. today. UNACCEPTABLE!!! No A.C. in the bus with no Windows to open on a 90 degree day. Passengers were using ice from there drinks to try and stay cool! The entire bus was extremely hot and unhappy. After arriving I went to the office to explain what happened. " wow that's awful im sorry" is all I got back. STAY AWAY, FAR AWAY FROM YANKEE TRAILS!!!

booked turning stone overnight package. No where in any of the materials from Yankee does it state that the check in time for the room was a late 4pm. Had they properly communicated the detail of the trip on their website or in the printed materials I would of been able to cancel in time to get a refund. To top it off when I called after the trip they would not return my call. I also experianced zero customer support from yankee or turning stone when asked for justification. We where told by hotel rep at turning stone that regular hotel guest and all other guest are priority and that bus guests always come last. This service was reflected in the dirty rooms, liquid stained sofa and sink and tub with hair in it. Save your time and money ?

Very crowded this morning, no organization, several buses to be loaded, and people being people, standing in the way, standing at wrong bus, left luggage in the way. Perhaps having a separate quay for each bus would help. This is probably the 20th time, we've used yankee trails to the NYC cruise pier, and the disorganization is getting worse

My family and I have done Santa Magical bus and it was a good experience but this morning I was unfortunate to have a very negative experience with a Yankee Trail bus driver around 8:50am on the S Mall Arterial in Albany NY. He was merging into traffic but came very close to my car. I honk my horn just to warn him he was to close to my car and I felt he was going to hit me. Apparently the driver didn't like it and went ballistics. Honk his horn at me and wouldn't take his hand off it. He was behind me and while making the U turn into the empire plaza I looked right at him and he continuously flipped me the bird as he was entering the plaza. I think he stopped in the concourse level to pick up customers. This person is a jerk and he is a poor reflection of Yankee Trails. He shouldn't be on the road, who in the world he thinks he is? He thinks just because he's driving a huge bus he can bully people on the road. He shouldn't treat people like that. Someone from management needs to seriously talk to him.

We were on Bus 6 this past weekend, our driver was Alan, and escort was Kathy. They were amazing, what a great trip. My husband was having issues getting on and off the bus, they were amazing and so attentive. They made the trip a wonderful experience. Great time.

I recently took a trip with my daughter to see a New York Yankee game. From ticketing process, customer service and ride to and from Yankee Stadium the service was excellent! Customer service was fast and friendly and the driver was professional and highly experienced. The value for what i paid was very reasonable and well worth the trip. I have to say that I would not use this service again. I booked a trip to the Bronx Zoo for 4 people. The site said to be at the pickup location at 7:45 AM. We arrived 15 minutes early to make sure that we had ample time if it took time to load the bus. It is now 9:00AM and the bus still has not arrived. There was no notice from Yankee Trails of a delay or cancellation. I called them and the very nice lady on the phone said that they are running an hour and a half behind. No notice no call. When they did finally arrive I was coming out of the bathroom at the store right there and they gave me no time to do anything. Very poor service. I would not recommend it at all.

We had a great visit to Salem Massachusetts, other than the hotel but that is not Yankee Trails' fault. Our bus driver, Brad, was great even with idiots pulling out in front of the bus and stopping and our guide Cindy was wonderful! We will definitely be going on another trip with Yankee Trails

I am driving on Hwy. 50 Winter Garden,Fl behind a Dodge mini van with Yankee Trails advertised all over the vehicle. This driver is one of the stupidest and most careless I have seen in a while. He is in and out of lanes whilst other vehicles are still in it,forcing them to move of the lanes. Very dangerous driving.

Horrible, Horrible, Horrible! They got us to our destination 1.5 hours late and left us waiting for our return pickup outside on a cold rainy sidewalk for 3 HOURS with no communication. When contacted, they did not care, just shrugged us off. Rotten bus service, rotten customer service. Stay away at all costs!

I recently went on day trip to the Aquarium, with my Granddaughter, it was not a good experience,the aquarium was so busy & crowded you could not walk through, or see anything, we tried several times, going back through long lines to get back in, we gave up & left to fill our day, as we would have left if we had our own transportation, plus the rain all day didn't help, I would not recommend this to anyone the price was way to much for the trouble one has to go through to try & enjoy a day.The staff on the bus made the ride pleasant & helpful, I will not be so quick to go anything like this again.

My problem exists with your drivers! I pass your exit in Rensselaer,NY on rt.43 6 days a week on my way to work. I was assured that the issue would be taken care of. This morning I was assured that it was not! A 1/4 of a mile view in both direction for your drivers leaving your lot,and they continue to pull out in front of cars going down Rt.43. It was pouring rain this morning,so we all had lights on,and here he comes. Myself,and the driver in front of me had maybe 250 ft to avoid the bus! This is really bad,it's been going on for many years for me,like 20. This has to stop!! If it zeros it down for you,it was 6:46 am 9/30/15,there was a school bus right behind your bus waiting to exit. Find this idiot,and fire him,or her! I give you no stars,and wouldn't ride your busses in fear of my life. I'm 54 year old male,and not a scared driver,so your not getting this note from a trembling old guy. Someone will get hurt here,and I hope it's me. I will sue the pants off your company if this happens to me. If I had time,I would have turned around and gotten info from the bus,and went right to the depot. Fix it before someone,or all the people on the buss get killed! Ridiculous! I have to give one star in order to post,but I take that back.

We have been waiting 2.5 hours to catch our bus home with no bus in sight and no one to contact on a Sunday. Unbelievable and extremely poor customer service. Will never transport to and from a cruise ship again. **Update it has now been 3 and a half hours we have waited for this company at their convenience!!** **5/21/19** I appreciate your response but are you aware that making phone calls and receiving texts in the middle of the ocean is not possible? We did finally receive the voicemail upon our arrival in NJ stating that the bus would be there at 10am (many of the other passengers did not receive anything)1 hour post disembarkrment, no big deal I can handle that eventhough Yankee Trails was the only bus company that DID NOT accommodate a 9am dismembarknent. But the bus did not show up until a little after 12pm!! 12pm!! There was no one to call because it was Sunday and for all we knew we could have been stranded at that point! We waited almost an hour for another ship to unload before we could leave which brought us to a 1pm start, when it should have been our finish. Needless to say Sunday's events put a damper on at least 100 passengers ending to a great vacation.

I have been on two, one day tours first one was the Light House Tours in Newport, RI great time met some really nice people. The Tour Guide Becky made the trip a lot of Fun, She handed out snacks, played Trivia games, and we had an all around great time and the tour itself and Newport was AWESOME The second tour was Quincy Market in Boston with my Husband. Great time but that had no Tour Guide, which was ok. The only Complaint I had was, in the Bathroom there was no water for handwashing or Hand sanitizer So needless to say when I was in Boston I bought some. Will definitely go on more tours with this company

Trip to the Port was great Coming back was terrible !! One bus came to early people weren't off the ship yet 2nd bus was 3 hours later than the time I was told it would be at the pick up point, no communication. People we're getting anxious and tired of standing and waiting in the heat then everyone that the first bus didn't wait to pick up had to fit on the second bus. Not enough room in the suitcase storage area d/t the extra people and suitcases had to be put on seats in the bus.

Used to be good not anymore!!! USE ANOTHER CHARTER. We arrived today at 6:33 for a 7:15 pick up in Albany for Boston Aquarium . There was a bus already there and we are like "that can't be it". My husband walked towards the bus to ask and the driver shut the door and drove off. I paid 140.00 for the trip. We sat until 8am!! The next bus we asked if it was it and the lady was rude and said no "Ellis Island". The driver of that bus didn't know how to even lower it. Unprofessional and not courteous at all. Why would the driver come so early?! And shut the door when someone is approaching the bus?! I'm calling the BBB and getting my money back some how!!! I've never had a problem in the past. We arrived almost 45 min early!! I have a pic confirmation of the pick up time handy! It was a Mother's Day trip and now ruined!! Can't even call anyone until 9!! Never again!!

IVE TAKEN YANKEE TRAILS BUS LINE MANY, MANY TIMES IN THE PAST. I HAVE ALWAYS BEEN SATISFIED EXCEPT FOR ONE TRIP TO BOSTON RECENTLY, WHEN THE DRIVER WAS MORE INTERESTED IN TALKING WITH THE ESCORT, THAN KEEPING HIS EYES ON THE ROAD. HE ALSO WASN'T GOOD WITH THE BOSTON 5PM TRAFFIC, EITHER. HOWEVER, THIS WAS JUST ONE BAD EXPERIENCE OUT OF AT LEAST 30 OTHER TRIPS. THE COMPANY IS VERY WILLING TO ACCOMODATE THE CUSTOMER, IF THERE ARE ANY SPECIAL SEATING REQUESTS, AND THE MAJORITY OF THE DRIVERS ARE PLEASANT AND HELPFUL. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK YANKEE TRAILS!!!!!!

I had a issue with my trip and the company looked into the problem right away. The person that I spoke to was pleasant and understanding. I commend her for trying to rectify the problem. I edited my review because she tried to make things right for me and I am willing to give them a second chance but it still doesn't change the fact that what happened was wrong. I hope that they make some changes so this never happens to another customer again.

Took trip to yankee stadium with little league. Seats have zero leg room and recline less then airplane seats. WiFi only supported 12 connections on a bus with over 40 people. Bathroom door did not lock and window shade kept flying up. Not sure this is the norm for all their busses but I’d have rather driven myself as it was very long trip with inability to get comfortable.

A great way to book and travel on day trips and for cruises. We did a day trip a couple of weeks ago, have a cruise booked for next week and have a day trip booked for the end of the month. They take good care of you!

Bus broke down on our way back from the NYC port after it was late picking us up. Bus driver not informative as to what was happening.
