Stay away! Nightmare experiences during the trip, and even worse trying to deal with incompetent and unprofessional staff members. Perillo doesn’t care about their customers once they have their money.

I just returned from a Northern Italy tour and overall it was a great experience. Sandra the tour guide went above the required n Cristiano the bus driver was excellent. The bus was a treat clean, air conditioned with comfortable seats. However the selected restaurants staff were not accommodating at all. The dinners were pre-fixed with no deviations and meals were mediocre at best. The hotels accomadations were okay but only one really was first class. The tours to the sites were great, informative and well planned. Sandra prepared reservations, boats, buses and everyone well in advance. She is a treasure Walking sneakers definitely needed for tours they can last for hours. Overall after 2 weeks everyone in the tour became friends. We had a great time. If participants could select their meals from the regular menu it would make a world of difference. Sonia

From the onset, our agent Enza was friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. Planning our first trip to Italy was fun and stress free. As a result, our twelve day trip was flawless. We chose to carefully select our tours rather than go on an overall organized group tour. Our three hotels - in Rome, Florence and Venice were beautiful and the staffs at each site were warm and accommodating. Along the way, transfers to each city were smooth, as were the individual tours and tour guides. If you go on a Pompei/Sorrento tour - and you should - see if you can get Cesare as a guide. Personality plus. We scheduled a day long tour of Tuscany. Perillo used Chauffer Service di Francesco and our personal driver/guide was Giovanni. The man was skilled, personable, humorous and engaging. He, along with the stunning aura of Tuscany itself, provided one of the best experiences of the trip. Don't delay a trip to Italia and don't even consider other tour companies. Perillo has this thing down - not to a science - but to an interpersonal experience that provides the confidence and support for you to enjoy every minute of the trip. Have fun. One other recommendation that helped us immensely in choosing restaurants and other activities - read a copy of "Italy for Dummies" as part of your planning process. Its advice is spot on. Just got back.. I have a few things to say... Our tour guide was wonderful... The food was just not what I was expecting..The food included was not good.. The amount of people on our tour was to big.. I was very disappointed... will never take a tour with you again.

Simply put, Perillo Tours is the ONLY way to visit Italy. I can understand using an Orbitz or a Travelocity if you want to take a trip to the Grand Canyon, but if you want to truly experience Italy - the sites, the culture, the food - you have to go with Perillo. They take care of everything and make sure you have exactly the trip you want to have. I'm not a big site-seeing group tour kind of guy and they have options for travelers like me to create an à la carte trip. You don't get that with other places. I've had the pleasure of meeting Steve and he is all class all the way. The business goes back to his grandfather and that personal touch makes all the difference when you're planning a big trip like this. I can't recommend them highly enough!

Just back from a wonderful Italy vacation! Had to thank Perillo Tours who now offer a customized package possibility (who knew?) which worked well for us! We are trekkers, and had hiked separately for five days thru Tuscany while able to use Perillo's expertise to book airfare, car connections, hotels, train tickets to meet our needs for a more independent trip! Car service, everything went wonderful one slight hiccup with a hotel, but one phone call and problem fixed right away. I was going to book a trip with them and our extended family this fall ( 5th time). However, I will no longer associate with Perillo who believes political statements and vacations are a good mix. While I respect Perillo's right to voice their own opinions, they have lost a second generation customer and I am not sure that alienating 41% of NJ voters is good for business.

We were scheduled for their food tour of Italy...Bologna Florence Rome for 10 days. They cancelled the trip because they said they needed 20 couples and only had 2. You'd of thought with their years of customers they could have reached out to offer them the trip..even for a discount. Poor effort. To learn that they are anti Trump is the capper. We will NEVER use them for our future plans to travel. Whoever is running this company now is a complete failure.

My cousin and I just returned from our Vesuvius Tour. We could not have had a better experience! We had jam packed days full of wonderful and interesting touring, excellent dining experiences, and fun shopping excursions.! There was no way we could have accomplished all that we did on our own! Our tour leader Paulo was an absolute Gem!! He made sure we got to places on time, met up with all our transportation and never lost a soul. He helped us with our tipping questions and made suggestions for our free time. The trip would not have been nearly as fun without him!! A special hats off to our bus driver Christiano who maneuvered that 39 foot bus around tiny streets and crazy mountain roads that had us all gasping! Thank you for a vacation of a lifetime! Very famous for decades in the NYC market, Perillo Tours tarnished their reputation with a giant political sign that the owner claims he "didn't think anyone would see". Illogical. And bad for business. Sorry guys, but my wife and I will be booking our tour elsewhere.

ABSOLUTELY THE best dentist EVER!!! Dr. Rania Scander is amazing, I can't say enough amazing things about her! My aunt is actually one of her patients and recommended me to her, however she's in NJ and I'm about 50-60min away in NYS. I figured I would try her out since I haven't had much luck up in my area and not many dentist up here do root canals on molars. As I drove up I thought it was the wrong address bc it looked like a wedding venue spot but sure enough they're offices. I'm a bit of a germ-a-phobic so I tend to be very particular and critical especially when it comes to my mouth haha. CLEANEST office I've been to yet and I'm in my 30's. 100% recommend even with the travel time!! Dr. Scander was also very accommodating with her time in respect to my restrictions bc of working in NYC and commuting etc. Most importantly she's honest and isn't just trying to make money! My regular dentist told me I needed 2 root canals and told me that with my insurance it would still cost me nearly $2,000!!! When I went to Dr. Scander she told me I only need 1 root canal and that it would cost me about $250 after insurance!! Hell of a difference!! When I told her my dentist said I needed 2 root canals she showed me the x-ray and reviewed everything with me, answered ALL of my questions and concerns thoroughly and even showed me the insurance break down for payment.

Had an amazing trip to Italy via Perillo Tours back in March! Our tour guide director, Esmeralda was excellent! And our bus driver on the Amalfi Coast, Christian, was outstanding! Would definitely book another trip to the Amalfi Coast. Both hotels in Rome and Amalfi were great. All places we had dinner or lunch at were excellent. Have no complaints! Rome was a one-time deal for me, but is a must do!

My granddaughter and I just got home from the Northern Italy Classic tour. Lorenza was a fabulous tour director and Marcello was an amazing bus driver (we did not believe how he got through the narrowest situations with absolute ease). In addition, they both were very personable and fun to be with. All the local tour guides were superb in their knowledge and spoke excellent English. The hotels and restaurants were five star. I cannot say enough about how wonderful this tour was in every respect.

Planning an Italian vacation hopefully in the next couple of years, found out I have Italian blood in me, was in Italy around 25 years ago and loved it,, BOYCOTT these political hacks, how dare someone throw their politics into a vacation scenario that so many people plan and save for . What a trip! Great food! Great people! Great views! Love my home country. However. I had an issue with the tour guide Perillo had assured me was too notch. First off, the guide showed up to the hotel smoking marijuana. Not off to a good start. Then in Rome while we tried to view the ancient ruins he kept heckling my son about sympathizing ISIS, and the benefits of LSD. When I asked for a translation he said “how the $&ck should I know?” Despite this, we had fun once we ditched our tour guide in Florence. We even got to learn some new Italian! We had a great time. 14 days is a lot easier when you are younger...ues we struggled to keep up but we saw so much it was almost overwhelming. The beauty of Italy, the incredible architecture, the awesome art work and the food were exceptional. But bettert than that was the tour guide Marco who was considerate, helpful and a great leader. Best experience of my life.

My husband and I just got home from the northern Italy tour. It was the best time. Everything was handled so well by Tony, our tour guide. He made us, as well as the whole group feel like family. It was truly the dream trip of a lifetime. We saw everything we wanted to see and then some. Our feet hurt and we slept really good as well we ate really, really good and not to mention the free flowing wine every night. I cannot say enough good things about this trip. It is definitely the way to see all in the time allotted. The hotels were for the most part were terrific. The shopping was grand and getting from place to place we were driven by one of the most amazing drivers we’ve ever seen. Giorgio was just terrific, a magician behind the wheel. If anyone is thinking about going to Italy, Perillo is the way to go, and Tony and Giorgio are the guys to help make your dreams come true. Thanks guys! You’re the best!

Tour guide really good and knows her stuff , Bus driver great , two out of three hotels had poor A/C and staff super rude and not help full at all it was like we annoyed them by being there , restaurants picked for the tour were not that good they can do a lot better for the cost of the trip , wine tasting was a five star from the owner to the lunch and the wine very good pick by the tour , tour busses very clean and comfortable , but to be honest if I would have seen perilos political view first I would not have booked with them , and for this I will not use there tour again even if you do Spain TRUMP TRUMP TRUMP

My sister and I took the 10 day Marco Polo Tour in October , 2017! Our tour guide Marco, the bus driver, the bus driver, the bus with 38 people, and the tour specialist were wonderful! They were very accomodating! The htel accomodations were,good! However this an extremely grueling walking tour, so get ready! Sometimes it seemed like a marathon race from one place to another so be prepared to walk a lot! You will need good sneakers or walking shoes! This tour is not for the faint of heart! If we did not keep this type of pace we would not have seen so many wonderful and historic italian sites! The Big Downer was the Food accomodations of the Tour package! It was disgusting and uneatable and not anything close to authentic Italian cuisine as I know it! For an Italian Tour company you and a person touring their heritage country you would think it would be superior however it was not anything close! My Sister on behalf of both of us notified Perillo of this traversity and have not received a response! They either did not care or they were aware the problem exists!
