My son left to a long ago planned and paid tour on June 12 2018 from Miami to Ireland. Ef tours selected Air France at their main carrier. Air France Was Schedule to make a stop in Paris but Air France was delayed for two hours in Miami and when they arrive to Paris they did not have enough time to transfer the 17 luggage’s. After arriving in Dublin they were received by an EF Tours director who should have taken the group of 17 persons without luggage to buy their main necessities. he should have also contacted Air France and have them transfer the luggage on any of the next two scheduled flights Arriving to Ireland later that day however EF tour has been negligent and has been providing unsatisfactory service to the clients and to the parents, they have done nothing to expedite and receive the luggages. I have called Air France twice and they have confirmed that the luggage’s are Arriving tomorrow June 14 at 2 PM in Dublin and Air France has a 12 hour window to deliver to the hotel. this makes this group of people have to wait over 48 hours. EF TOURS have not had the consideration to take them to buy their needs, they have also not complied with providing transportation for minors to be able to do this. I purchased a global protection plan and Air France offered €100 to purchase what was necessary but, since they were not taken anywhere to use this money both companies have saved. This group has been left unattended without luggage and main necessities. this is the worst company ever they are careless once they have your money They have also selected hotels that are university dorms that unfortunately I know we’re walking distance to anything they have been confined to this location without transportation I do not recommend this company I have called three times EF Tours nobody returns my phone calls and they blame Air France for their delay EF Tours is responsible for the people who is in Ireland visiting from the USA it’s a vacation that’s what you pay for service It’s been a horrible experience and I do not recommend any parents or any student to consider this company.

I have traveled with EF both as a parent and as a teacher for the past decade and continue to be impressed with their attention to detail, their thorough knowledge of the places we tour, and the fabulous tour guides and tour consultants who take care of all the nitty-gritty details so I don't have to. I have taken student and adult groups on tours all over the world through EF and every time we travel it is an incredible experience. Many of my travelers are return customers who bring their families along because they know that they will travel with experts in the field, they won't have to sweat the details of trip planning because EF will take care of all the travel arrangements, and they are able to thoroughly immerse themselves in the experience of appreciating the cultures they visit. I am always amazed at how much we learn and how much fun we have on our trips. I can't imagine a better way to experience the world! I will definitely continue my travels with EF!

excellent tour guides, have traveled with them multiple times and I am always impressed by the quality of the tour guides. Not impressed with the hotels (especially on this last trip.)

We had a wonderful trip! This was my sixth EF Tours. And the second one with our wonderful tour guide Jourdan. The trip from Paris to Barcelona really gives you a full idea of how diverse the two countries really are . Though it is tough to see Paris or Barcelona in just two days we were able to see more of both by not opting in for the extra excursions which I would suggest to do as well. As a teacher I would pre-plan ahead and itinerary for when you were actually in those two major cities so that you are prepared to tell your tour guide what you would like to do in case they ask. For example I created a very easy scavenger hunt with the rooms at the Louvre. It made it less stressful to have to depend on the tour guide to do everything for you especially because a lot of times your time spent could be free time. This tour provides an excellent balance between mountains and sea... city and town... I would absolutely do this one again.

Meraviglioso! Tornerò Presto. I went to Bella Italia TWICE with EF. Both times were professionally handled; polite, informative, and well orchestrated. My only hesitation was on their prime focus on museums, and businesses. I wish they would have provide visits to libraries, and "after-dark" activities like concerts, Italian Cinema, ballet, opera and live Italian Theatre. Personally, I would have been in Heaven if I would have been given the opportunity to take in a performance at LaScala. My out-of-tour-trek to the ROMAN VILLAGE HARLEY-DAVIDSON dealership was even more fulfilling than the Vatican. I am proud to be associated with the owner's group there. Viva l'Italia

Costa Rica - I had travel to CR before (5yrs. ago) not the same tour. The tour guide Victor Abarrca was awsome. He did more than enough to keep everyone happy. We had plenty of activities to choose from, at least 2 to 3 choices a day. As a matter of fact, he said "out of the 15 yrs. he had been doing tours with EF, our group of 44 was the first to do all the excursions he offered". With the exception of one hotel in Arenal, the food was great and plentifull. Once we left Tortugero and Sirapiqui, the hotel rooms were more to the standards of my group of girls and other female adult. Being from Texas we're used to air conditioning. LOL I beleived that not only in my group but throughout the whole group, their favorite activity was Whitewater Rafting. Over all every person we had contact with was super knowledgeable of their roll, guide in tortugero, the boat taxi drivers, kitchen staff, etc. This trip will go down in my experience with EF ,as another excelent trip. Learned a lot, I beleive every student will be enriched by this experience. Thank You to my EF Tour Consoltant Molly Fehr for always working with me.

Wow wish I could give them less than a star. In light of the recent terrorist attacks (3) in Paris (1) in London you would think that any fair minded company would refund part of your money. They told me that I was SOL but they had made some adjustments to the trip that I should be comfortable with sending my daughter to London on 4/1/17 and to Paris a few days later. REALLY?????

Fantastic company to plan a trip and travel with! I have traveled with EF many times and am always impressed with their great value, global presence, and commitment to providing students the opportunity to experience new places and cultures. I have traveled all over the world on both guided and self-directed trips, and if you are looking to travel with a company that really knows their destinations and has the capacity to deliver an authentic travel experience, then EF is for you. Will use them again for sure!

I have been on hold for 25 minutes to speak to customer service and then was cut off. I am on my second call and am on hold for 24 minutes and counting. There are lots of better travel companies, find one.

Horrible company rips of school children and their parent. Designed to TAKE students money by not refunding if he/she cannot pay total of high amount for trip. I really suggest all school find another company. This company took $877.00 of my son hard earned money and many more like him because he could not afford finish paying for the trip of $2000.00 and the $140.00 protection which you have to have to cancel. WOULD BE A JOKE IF IT DIDN'T COST HIM SO MUCH

I want to tell you how incredibly disappointed I am so far in this tour on day one. What an incredible waste of my money, to be informed today that we will not be able to see the Alhambra Palace. You have known that this group of students are coming on this tour for many months now. Imagine my shock when we arrive in Granada and EF did not get tickets for us to see the Alhambra during the day. The absolutely MAJOR site here WILL NOT BE SEEN! We are scheduled for a quick night tour, when little can actually be seen, and we are told how 'special' this is, which of course is not at all true. How is it possible to NOT get us tickets when you have known the dates of our arrival for MONTHS. There is another group of students in our hotel/bus who ARE GOING TO THE ALHAMBRA TOMORROW, while we sleep in and have breakfast and wait for them to finish seeing what we were meant to see during our visit to Granada. Why do they get tickets and we do not? Why are they chosen to experience that which was promised to all students? How are we compensated? Please tell me how this happened. It is unacceptable and suggests poor planning, and certainly thoughtlessness about our experience. We were informed that we would visit the Alhambra, had made plans to do so, and now we are excluded form what was to be an AMAZING experience. This is unacceptable. The food is substandard. For the cost of this tour, we deserve the best possible cuisine. Spanish food is marvelous, and tonights dinner was unacceptable. Today was a waste of a day. We arrived in Malaga and were left for three hours wandering around the tacky tourist shops and waiting for the rest of the students. EF could have organized and exciting and culturally appropriate experience. It has only been one day, and you have STOLEN my money and that of my daughter. $8000 for missing the major landmark in Granada, inedible substandard food, and wasting my day doing nothing remotely cultural or interesting. If you are smart you will stay away from this company. They peddled it as a school activity but it is not based on what one of the leaders (school teacher) told me. Customer service is the worst hanging up on you after they provide you with that specific # to call.

Very frustrated with the misrepresentation my student was given. He was told if he needed to cancel, he would get all but $80 back. I just made the call to cancel and was told he will get back all but $500 unless the leader of the trip finds a replacement, then he will be able to get all but roughly $200 back. There is no appropriate measure to get the refund started with fullest refund potential until the teacher in charge of the trip tries to get a replacement. Everything about the process with this company has left me, as an international traveler, seriously questioning the business practice.
