This was my wife and my third DuVine trip. Each was different and each was very special, meeting or exceeding our expectations. The hotels and food were wonderful. We got to know a great deal about our surroundings and were able to go at whatever pace was comfortable at the moment. Each of the staff that accompanied the trip were extremely knowledgeable, attentive, conscientious and delightful. They clearly love what they do. Having done bike trips with other operators, DuVine is our first choice.

My husband and I just returned from a private tour of Tuscany and the Dolomites with Duvine. This was a most amazing adventure, made even more special by our two guides, Marco and Paolo. They are not only very experienced cyclists, they are also very knowledgeable about many other things including history, geography, architecture, archeology and most importantly, wine. They went out of their way to ensure that the experience was as good as it possibly could be and it most definitely was. Bravo. I would highly recommend this company and particularly Marco and Paolo as guides.

I can't say enough great things about our experience with DuVine! We did the Croatia bike tour with Toni & Duje. It was fantastic in every way! The tour was impeccably planned and executed with such seamless effort that it made it so easy and enjoyable for us. The tour was so much more than a bike ride, with such great company from the guides, wonderful local information, fantastic local foods and wines, boat rides, the islands, the people....and the coffee!!!! The small group experience and attention to detail sets DuVine apart from others. Croatia was stunningly beautiful and the bike tour was a fantastic way to take it all in! Well done!!!

Second trip with DuVine (prior to Czech Republic, this time to southern Portugal) and just as happy as with the first one. 9 people this time which the guides were able to deftly keep happy and challenged as every one wants and expects something different from their trip. Some of us wanted more bike time and challenge (and were given just what we needed!) some wanted more touring and time for the sights (and were given that freedom due to a pair of guides who worked amazingly well together and the small size of the group). The van was there if you wanted, there if you needed, and the guides always checking if you were unsure what you wanted/needed! We were brought to spectacular sites, wonderful meals with regional wines (private dining in a centuries old palace, another in a converted convent, a visit to a marble quarry, trips through vineyards/cork processors/olive orchards/family pottery facilities, castles...). Truly a well organized and orchestrated exposure to the wonders Portugal has to offer. We did well as a group and had a great time seeing and doing things together. Value is there as you get experienced guides, individual attention/care with well run meals/trips between sites; cost is well worth the experience.

An amazing experience! Our third trip with Duvine.... they just keep getting better. The Verona/Lake Garda area is beautiful. As always, great guides, routes, hotels and food. We will be back for trip 4 next year !

Just came back from our 6th trip with DuVine. That right there should tell you what we think of our experiences with them. Accommodations and food are top notch. Guides are great and very knowledgeable. The trip is always like spending a week with friends. Everything is looked after for you from the minute you meet the group until it is time to say goodbye. Just what a holiday should be. And, unlike another well known ‘luxury’ cycling company that we did a trip with last year (only because the locale was not offered by DuVine) everything IS included. No awkward pause when the server asked if we wanted wine with dinner.

Our trip to Tuscany was amazing. The guides were incredible, the food was wonderful, and the group was so much fun. No complaints.

We recently took a trip to the Czech Republic with a bit of Austria. The cost was over $1500 per night. Two of the nights the hotel cost was $ 75 per night. Routes, guides and bikes were all excellent, but very poor value!

One of the best trip of my life!

We did a 4 day biking trip in Tuscany. The routes were well planned; the bikes were in good condition. We had a good mix of biking and other activities including 2 wine tastings and a cooking class where we made and then dined on homemade pasta. Our guides, Val and Marco. were local; they knew the area well. They were experienced bikers and knew a great deal about wine and food. They were extremely attentive to their clients. One guide would ride his bike while the other followed in the van. The accommodations were very luxurious. The scenery was beautiful. It was supposed to be a level one course but the hills were still challenging; I changed to an electric bike the 2nd day and was pleased with the change. Overall it was a magical vacation.

Highly recommend DuVine . They are terrific and make sure every detail of your trip is taken care of. Wonderful knowledgeable guides as well!

I had a fantastic time on the Alentejo tour with DuVine! The entire itinerary was planned out thoughtfully and provided a lovely balance of good cycling, cultural immersion, and excellent authentic food and wine experiences. The hotels were unique and charming. Our tour guides João and Alexis went above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly and everyone had the best time possible (no matter the level of cycling experience), and all the while showcasing the beauty of the region. We felt like a family by the end! I would highly recommend a DuVine tour to any of my friends.

So I recently got back from my second trip with DuVine and I’m already thinking about where I want to go next year. I love cycling vacations because I think there is no better way to experience the people and cultural of a country than on a bike. In total, I’ve taken 7 cycling trips in the last 10 years and I can honestly say DuVine just has that something extra special that makes them better than all the rest. I encourage anyone to compare the routes, the hotels, and the activities to other companies, and I promise you that you will see that DuVine is the best of the best. What I think I like most about DuVine is their ability to make every single guest feel special. Their group size max out at 14 allowing for a more close-knit vacation. Their attention to the most minute detail is impeccable. One example I can give it that I have more than the average numbers of food allergies, and the guides went the extra mile to make sure the restaurants were aware of them and even in some cases prepared something special for me. Words cannot express how much that meant to me. Just knowing I didn’t have to worry about that allowed me to enjoy the food, the wine, and the company of the other guests at all our meals. Also I think DuVine does an amazing job of hiring the most experienced guides. It is obvious that that they love their job and enjoy showing their country to everyone on the trip. Not only are they advanced cyclists, they have a great sense of humor and amazing people skills to make sure everything on the trip is going smoothly, which is no easy task. I can’t say enough great things about DuVine. If you are thinking about this type of vacation, I say just go for it and book a trip with DuVine. You won’t be sorry and most likely will have a trip of a lifetime.

5 star experience from top to bottom. Valentino and Paola were AMAZING guides who provided a personalized touch to everything and showed us such a special time in Tuscany. This was my our first biking adventure, and we were blown away with the experience and the services. We stayed in the most beautiful Villas with breathtaking views and amazing spas. Every meal was well planned out, beautiful and delicious. From learning to make hand rolled spaghetti to having lunch in a local olive mill, truly unique. We truly cannot recommend Duvine enough! If you get a chance to do this tour through Tuscany, I would highly recommend Paolo and Valentino as your guides. They truly made this trip special and we were sad to leave them by the end. If you are thinking of planning a trip with DuVine, you will not be disappointed. We have only been back a week and already planning our next tour.

Completed Pyrenees tour in September 2017. The tour materials were inaccurate and did not provide correct list of hotels. The bikes provided by company were at least three years old and inadequately maintained. The GPS ran out of battery and malfunctioned resulting in every person on the trip getting lost on multiple occasions. There was no daily review of the route or access to printed maps or routes. Selection of hotels was very good and the route selection was exceptional. DuVine is priced to compete with Backroads and Butterfield Robinson. Unfortunately they cannot deliver the experience on a trip that focuses on riding.

I am not sure how best to describe our trip with Duvine, but the first word that comes to mind is perfect. The guides were incredibly knowledgeable, super friendly, responsive, and engaging. The support from one city to the next was top notch. Our accommodations were some of the nicest I have stayed in.....and the food was incredible. We also met some very interesting people along the way. The best touch was the GPS they provided on our bikes so that if there was room in between the group and you took a wrong turn, you knew where you were going! I can't wait to book the next trip with Duvine.

We had an amazing experience with DuVine on a sailing and biking tour in Greece. The guides were exceptional, the boat was extraordinary and the staff was A+. A great experience overall.

Beautiful place, knowledgeable guides who were incredible and very prepared. Duvine always delivers top notch service in top notch locations.

This was the most exhilarating experience I have ever had in traveling in my life. I must say I was totally out of shape prior to this trip and I was certainly concerned about the bicycling involved. However, the beauty of DuVine is the options to select an appropriate level of physical challenge. This was a level I trip. However, I remained concerned due to my lack of exercise in the past year. My concerns were immediately put to rest since the whole team at Duvine are dedicated to make the experience perfect for all involved. I biked most of the trip but at any point I felt an incline was too much they were right there and provided me with the van to get past that point. The Tour coordinator was on top of every possible issue even before it was an issue so there never was a problem or concern. The cycling guides were exceptional in providing full time support not only bicycling but with the hotels, the room service, the meals, the wine. Ahh, the meals and the wine were to die for!!!!! It certainly made me feel happy that we were doing the exercise so that we enjoyed the meals with no guilty feelings. My trip was in Verona, Italy around Lake Garda and I must say the views, the Towns, the ambience was exquisite and very rewarding in all the sense of the word. Kudos to Alicia (Tour Coordinator), Valentino and Isaaco (Guides). This trip will be imprinted in my heart forever!!!!

We just completed our 2nd wonderful Duvine tour. This time we did the Bordeaux tour with Didier and Damien. With only 1 other couple, it almost felt like a private tour. Of course both the wine and food were outstanding. We were particularly impressed with Emma’s knowledge and expertise during our wine tasting in St Emillion. It was interesting going to 2 Michelin-starred restaurants but I think the group consensus was that some of the best meals were the al fresco lunches. Didier came through on our 1 rain day and Damien had great suggestions for our after-Duvine travels. A 5-star trip. We will definitely keep Duvine on our list when it comes to future travels.

My family and I just had a truly wonderful experience on the Duvine cycling tour in Puglia. Puglia is beautiful, but the main ingredient for making this tour so special were the two guides, Paolo Filipponi and Davide Frulloni. They were terrific. They took great care of us, entertained us with their wonderful sense of humor and encouraged us to take on challenges. The lodgings were amazing as was the selection of restaurants for lunches and suppers. We had a great time learning to make pasta and then eating our creations in an idyllic setting by the sea. I recommend this tour with my highest compliments.

My boyfriend and I just finished a DuVine tour of the Alentejo region of Portugal. We have taken many bike trips with several other tour companies and DuVine is the best. In every way, the tour exceeded our expectations. Our tour guide, Joao Picado was excellent! He was very knowledgeable of the area and gave us great insights into every place that we visited. He was also super supportive and such a great guy to spend time with. We would do another DuVine trip just because of the superior service we received from our guide, but it honestly didn't stop there. The hotels were all top notch, 5 star with excellent service. Plus the food and the various activities we did in addition to biking - totally amazing! One night we visited an 18th century castle and had a private dinner with the owner in her personal dining room! Another night we had a cooking class with a local chef - we felt like we were at a private dinner among good friends. Totally awesome! If you are interested in seeing beautiful places on a bike, getting a good work out each day while getting incredibly pampered, DuVine is the company for you. We are already planning our next adventure with DuVine! As a side note, we were the only guests who signed up for our week and DuVine still held the tour... so we had a PRIVATE tour at the price of a regular tour. This shows you how committed DuVine is to taking care of the customer.

Trip was the Pyrenees Challenge: 7 days across the pyrenees marketed as tough. Marketed as providing perfectly tuned and maintained bikes. Cost $4800 for a single. 6 riders, 2 guides and a van. One guide rides sweeps from behind in theory (did not happen often), the other drives the van. Good: Hotels comfortable and food good. Only reason 2 stars. Bad: GPS units provided did not work long enough and died in the rain. No hard copy directions provided. No going over route on any day. We were on unknown roads and did not speak French. Guides said they had driven the route the week before. But, not any discussion of the routes in detail: towns, forks in the road, turns not to miss. The first day a rider and I got off course. GPS does not help get u back on course. Guide was missing until bottom of last climb. They put our bags in our rooms that night(never again) and hotel was good if not great. Kept positive attitude. Second day. Rain all day. GPS units died. People got lost. Bike started grinding because chain wasn't properly lubed. Sprayed on lube midway through. I wake up early every day. Guides never cleaned bikes. Here comes the amazing part. Zero care was taken to clean, inspect or repair bikes after 70 miles in driving rain. There was NO BIKE STAND in the van!!! It was dumbfounding. Bikes came with mismatched tires...guess it cost too much to have matching tires?? Ok for at home, but on a $5K trip...no bueno. Bikes were dirty and were only cleaned and lubed because I brought my own. I cleaned and lubed other bikes as well as best as possible without a bike stand. The guides saw this and did nothing. On the last day, we asked for a rag. Guide said he threw it away. We went inside hotel and asked for a rag. It rained often. Bikes needed attention. The tuned to perfection marketing is not true. No mention was made of running out of rags due to the rain. Owner of company responded with this after the trip : "the guides unexpectedly, due to the weather situation, ran out of rags....I was assured that the bikes were indeed cleaned every day after it rained and we do apologize if you feel that the bike was not cleaned to your standards." The bikes had leaves, sand and grit on them...they were never cleaned. Not sure how his guides cleaned bikes without rags or a bike stand, and silently, secretly outside of our view...you do the math. Wasn't going to post this review, but owner's response was infuriating. I would have accepted a sincere apology and a request to do better next time, or maybe a discounted trip, but not story telling. 3 flats on day 6 on front wheel. Wheel was toast. Heating up because worn out. Thin sidewalls...wear indicator gone. Tire and rim strip perfect. No flats on flat roads only on descents. Stopped when I stopped using front brake and told guide to give me a different wheel. Guide was 20k in front when the last flat happened. I wasn't mad till I inspected the wheel and realized the danger. Rode super slow the last day afraid of the equipment. Looked at other bikes and it was shocking how hammered the wheels were. Might work for 20-30 mile rides on rolling terrain, but not on TDF descents like the Aubisque! Just wanted to get to hotel and off their bike. Last day...pouring rain. GPS died. Everyone in van but one rider. He was lost again because no briefing or hard copy directions. No GPS file provided for day 7. Guides both ate lunch seemingly unconcerned. I was amazed sort of, but by day 7 just trying to focus on getting it completed. Van was a mess generally...food purchased without asking for suggestions. Not a single heads up on forks in the road etc. Please don't get fooled by marketing. This company might be ok for gentle food and sight seeing bike tours. But amazingly sub par on mountain cycling and dangerous in my opinion

I have done a number of bike trips with different operators i went to the Costa Brava for a three day trip with Duvine this summer. Great equipment. Great guides (a little less polished than the Butterfield guides). Great hotels and meals. Only critique is that the routes were not well curated. A lot of time biking on busy roads or through industrial farm towns. Not as much charm as could have been had. Overqll a really fun time. Little to complain about

Absolutely 5 star all around, particularly with our local guides in Provence for our Multi-Sport Family Cycling Adventure. A special shout out to Lori and Alexi, who were warm, fun, incredibly efficient & resourceful. They made the trip for our family of five (with three children, ages 11, 8, and 6) a truly unforgettable one. We loved the video compiled at the end, as well. What a nice touch and memento of our trip!

Had a great week in Bordeaux with our Duvine guides, Damien and Didier. The trip was excellent in every way: great bikes (comfortable and light hybrids, roadbikes, and e-bikes), beautiful 5* boutique hotel accommodations, amazing 2-3 hour lunches and gourmet dinners, and copious amounts of local wine! The guides were knowledgeable about the wines of the areas we cycled through, and were very attentive and receptive to feedback. We felt well looked after in their capable hands. We loved the ease of booking through the company and having them take care of every detail from the time we arrived at the Bordeaux train station until the time we were dropped back off there at end of the trip. Will definitely book again with DuVine!

My son and I were part of the Alentejo ride in Portugal in June. We both had a wonderful time and would recommend DuVine to anyone without hesitation if they are looking for this type of vacation. Our guides, Joao and Alexis, were both great guys and they did a superb job of managing the trip and supporting everybody. Food and accommodations were first rate, the planned excursions were all fun and informative and the Portuguese countryside was gorgeous. Thank you, DuVine, for a fantastic experience! We’ll be back for another adventure with you! Joseph Figueiredo. Cambridge, MA

Our family (including our two teen kids aged 16 & 18) just finished a life-changing experience/trip with Duvine in the Italian Riviera! Our guides Tom and Guido created a trip of a lifetime!! It was so much more than cycling and sight-seeing (although both were pretty fantastic). They took us on a journey that opened up a treasure trove of new delights in food, wines, hikes, adventures, hidden towns, historical anecdotes and stories. Each day was full of interesting and memorable experiences as we were treated as dear friends or family by owners and chefs of local restaurants or the inn-keepers at the historic monastery with the most amazing homemade breakfasts to the new, challenging and breathtaking rides and hikes. Just when we thought we had had the BEST day possible, the next one exceeded the last. Suffice it to say that no one wanted the trip to come to an end and we are already busy planning our next adventure with Duvine. Our guides, Tom and Guido were not only absolutely phenomenal cyclists but they made each ride so much fun and safe for each of the riders in our group of varying cycling experience levels which we all great appreciated. They are true renaissance men -- well versed in local history, language and knowledge as well as being wonderful ambassadors of cycling and the Italian culture, food and wine. We felt like we were traveling with not only the most incredible cycling guides but also our own personal elite historian and sommelier!! A heartfelt thank you Tom and Guido for a truly memorable trip!!

Phenomenal local guides. Incredibly beautiful landscape. Meticulously planned. Beautiful hotels.

We recently had an amazing trip with Duvine. It was so wonderful to have a curated experience cycling through Tuscany. Our guides went above and beyond to make our trip a unique experience - from private wine tastings to enhanced cycling routes. We would recommend Duvine to anyone looking for a high end adventure trip and look forward to joining them again!

Duvine Cycling + Adventure Co gave us the trip of a lifetime! Our guides, Libby and Valentino, treated us as if we were their only guests and made us feel like family by the end of the trip. Their guidance and attention to detail created a fabulous Tuscan time with challenging and amazing rides, delictable meals, engaging convserations and wonderful local connections for a true local experience. We were immersed in Tuscany and our fun group become "Italian." Thank you so much for all that your company did to create a defining moment in our lives that we will NEVER forget! FIVE STARS all the way! Liz and Joe

Awesome, friendly, passionate, and knowledgeable guides. Felt as if they were just another part of our group. Great on logistics and planning, and local knowledge was really great to have. Second Duvine tour and will definitely consider another in the near future.

I Had the pleasure of experiencing my third Duvine bike tour in Burgundy. Duvine and the exceptionally devoted guides created an amazing addition to my time in Europe. Biked through countless vineyards and villages. It was the add ons that Duvine provided that made this an over the top experience! (As did my prior Duvine tours in Tuscany and Cote d'Azur. ) The tour provided so many details regarding the history of the many places we passed, settings of classic french films and an incredible education of the local wines. So looking forward to the next adventure. and can't say enough about how pleased your future trip will be.

We just experienced one of the best vacations of our lives - a DuVine Cycling trip through Tuscany. Our guides Marco and Valentino, went above and beyond to make our adventure A#1. We stayed at two beautiful hotels, rode our bikes up and down stunning Tuscan hills and all sustained by delicious meals with local faire and tasty local wine. Thank you DuVine. We can't wait for our next cycling adventure with you!

Ruth Thornton

The Duvine Cycling trip through Tuscany, Italy surpassed any and all expectations!! The cycling portion was well thought out and allowed for more experienced riders to ride longer while the rest did the shorter distances (avg. 30 miles/ day). The routes showcased the beautiful countryside and were interesting and appropriately challenging – stopping in authentic villages and quaint café’s along the way. But what was truly shocking and surprising is the rich cultural encounters that were provided. We experienced home cooked meal at a 15th century family home, we toured Olive groves, enjoyed informative wine tours and stayed in above grade accommodations with suburb breakfast buffets and massage for after the rides. The last and most important piece was the proficient tour guides – Marco and Libby represent the heart of the county – warm, gracious, genuine and completely committed to make each guest feel taken care of. Duvine Cycling had recruited amazing staff, they have thought through the routes and accommodations and experiences that have left us craving more. We can’t wait for our next one! If you are considering a tour – go for it! It will be one of the best decisions you could make.

After returning home from our first DuVine cycling trip and reflecting on how great it was, I wanted to share a bit of greatness with "the world"! We went to Slovenia....what doesn't this country have-

I just came back from my annual trip with DuVine. This year was Tuscany and it was magical! Maybe the best one yet, but I say that every time I come back from a DuVine tour :) Tuscany in June was a carpet of green with fields of poppies! Our guides, Guido and Valentino were so passionate, knowledgeable, thoughtful, and fun. We had so many special moments and the group dynamic was incredible singing out the window in the van, celebrating tough climbs, etc. I love the new friendships made and we didn’t want to leave each other!! Each meal felt like the best meal I’ve ever had. We ate in the home of an Italian family, in the garden at a olive oil vineyard, outside on beautiful terraces with views forever. DuVine does it right and this tour is the top!!!!!!

I rode with DuVine across the Dolomites in September 2016. It was an unbelievable experience, from start to finish. The choice of roads, hotels, and meals was exceptional. The attention to detail they paid to the small things--roadside snacks, evening lectures on the history of the places we were traveling through, bikes, clothing, luggage, bottles, everything--was perfectly dialed. I would recommend this trip and DuVine generally to anyone looking for a trip to cycling paradise.

My husband and I just returned from a DuVine Cycling adventure in Portugal. This was our first trip with DuVine. We have made multiple trips with other companies and we found that DuVine was fabulous from start to finish. The guides were awesome and the side tours excellent. Great attention to detail, extensive knowledge of culture, great customer service. All in all, 5 star in our book! Pamela and Steven Green

Best guides, best food, best trails, best wine, best time. This is an adult luxury camp experience, where you meet your fellow campers and share a lifetime experience you will never forget. Worth every nickel. Beth and Bill Nast p.s PUGLIA is an amazing part of Italy and still a well kept secret.

Amazing lifetime experience in both riding some of the most challenging routes ever while experiencing the TdF for the first time in a very VIP and memorable setting. Great getting paired up with my new friends from Australia who made the trip super fun and of course full of laughs. Hats off the guides Olivier and Ernesto who are both super strong riders but showed us routes that only "locals" ride with amazing scenery, challenges and memories. Can't wait to find and book my next adventure with DuVine.

Duvine is an amazing company to travel with whether you want to focus on wine/food, cycling or history/art. You can't go wrong. They have the best guides and great local connections so you know you're really experiencing the best the region has to offer. Incredible experience from start to finish - detailed planning, concise and timely coordination, flawless execution - this was our 6th European bicycle trip with DuVine and without question the best one yet. We have a rather large group of 10 of my classmates from West Point and our spouses so the logistics of a weeklong trip involving three 4-5 Star accommodations could be challenging but DuVine accomplished every aspect of our trip without any difficulties at all. Our four guides were truly superb as their professionalism and expertise were unparalleled and their engaging personable demeanors incredibly impactful. We look forward to another DuVine tripnext year.

Nothing tops a Duvine experience! Great rides, wonderful hotels, excellent meals — all in the care of wonderful guides. Go and enjoy!!

This was the best vacation I've ever had! I am an experienced cyclist while my girlfriend has only been on a road bike for one or two rides. Our tour was on Mallorca and our guide (Gonzolo) did a perfect job accommodating our varying skill levels. I cannot say enough good things about this tour and I cannot wait to book our next tour with DuVine.

Lisa Tibor

I've been on 4 DuVine tours now and all of them have been fantastic from start to finish. The hotels are stellar-- charming and local and the food is amazing. The guides take fantastic care of the guests. I traveled as a solo traveler for 3 of the 4 and then with my husband on our honeymoon for the most recent one in CostaBrava. Our guide Gonzalo is awesome-- great cyclist, fun person, and organized every detail amazingly. We're already planning our next tour with DuVine.

Duvine puts together truly exciting and comprehensive cycling tours with informed and fun guides. Even if you're not a cyclist, the trips are incredibly pleasant and every guest is accommodated. They take care of every little detail for you and you'll eat and live better on their tours than you could hope for if you were trying to plan your own itinerary. I've gone twice now and will certainly go again in the future!

This was our second trip with Duvine and it was divine! We were lucky to be alone on a trip with our family of four adult cyclists. I highly recommend the Loire valley trip. The bikes are so much lighter and better than 9 years ago. My personal highlights were seeing the castles, the spa, and our Michelin restaurant. Our final picnic was delicious - and was mainly vegetarian to suit my husband and I. Many thanks to Vincent and Harvey for allowing us to add Chambord on the last day - this was not to be missed! We love Duvine, and we look forward to planning another trip with you.

Brock Rodgers

It was a great trip. The guides were very attentive and looked after us.

This was our first bicycling tour and we feel like we lucked out and picked the top company offering these services. We did a 6-day tour in Provence, France during the 3rd week in June. The guides were the best! The hotels 4-5 star, restaurants and food, wine, etc were superb. And a special note on this. We follow a whole food, plant-based diet and this was not just accommodated but with a flair. All of the restaurants at which we ate were able to meet our needs for no animal products and many did so with a flair. The ride was rated as a level 3 ride (out of 5 levels) and that was about right for us. Our rides were in the range of 30-40 miles with elevation gains in the 1,000-3,000 foot range. This made it a challenge for us but not such that it was a real burden. The number in the group, at 11, was a good size; large enough to make it fun and interesting but small enough so as not to be unwieldy. My only suggestion for how things could have been improved might be to have a half-day or day break from cycling in the middle of the tour. We did this on our own but it could have been planned as such. We have no reservations in unequivocally recommending DuVine as your tour company. In fact, we are already planning another trip with DuVine to Switzerland next year.

Just returned from a phenomenal trip in Puglia with my one of my kids. Not having been on a bike trip before, we were not entirely sure what to expect - the experience far exceeded all expectations. The countryside was beautiful and the food & wine memorable. It was the guides, however, Davide and Paulo, that really pushed the trip over the top - they were funny, attentive, knowledgeable and highly organized. We are now hooked on biking with Duvine and are plotting our trip for next year.

Janet Gray

Our group of 6 cyclists had an amazing tour with guides Ernesto and Gonzalo. The rides were challenging and beautiful. Every hotel and restaurant chosen by the guides was perfect. This was the first trip to Spain for us and we absolutely loved the country and people. Thanks for an unforgettable experience!

My wife and I just recently (5/12 - 5/17) completed our Czech Republic and Austria Bike Tour. We had a tremendous time, and our guides Justin and Micheala were simply amazing. Justin and Michaela knew so much about the area and were able to take us to all the historical and UNESCO sites. The hotels were absolutely amazing. Although, our second hotel, Hotel Galant, was less than I would have expected from Duvine, but it was only one night and we made the best of it. The food and wine was out of this world. We tasted and enjoyed so much wine. We would love to return just for the wines. This was our second trip with Duvine and we continue to be amazed at the quality of tours they offer. We are currently discussing where in the world to tour on our next Duvine adventure. Thank you Justin, Michaela, and Duvine staff for making this another awesome adventure. See you next time. This company provided us with the best trip we could have ever imagined. A perfect couples trip for our 10 year anniversary!

My wife and I had a wonderful trip to Bordeaux. This was our first bike vacation and it exceeded our expectations. Edd and Didier (our guides) were great and made this a most memorable trip. Everything was well planned and organized with the just the right amount of attention to detail. We will definitely be back!

Skip Miller

Great guides, super food. A bit flat terrain. Food was unbelievable and wine shopping experience was great.

Mariana Torres

I have been to Italy twice with Duvine, once in Puglia and this year in Sicily. The tours are absolutely fantastic, and the theme of "bike, eat, drink" is realized very effectively. The hotels are generally spectacular, and the tour guides are always wonderful, with a good attitude, super helpful and resourceful with any kind of issue, and adding a very authentic flavor to the experience. The bikes are top notch, both the e-bikes and the road bikes with Ultegra electric gearshifts and very comfortable seats. It's the kind of experience that both my mom and I, at 33 years apart, can fully enjoy doing together. Thanks, Duvine, for a wonderful experience.

Graham Frank

The tour and logistics were flawless and exceeded all expectations.

Leslie Zemsky

Great experience biking with Duvine! Great guides, lots of support, really good and unique dining experiences

My trip to Chile on the Lakes and Volcanoes tour was superb! The guides, Ernesto and David, were locals who showed us their backroads by bike. The route rating was spot on and perfect for all level of riders in my family. The views of the volcanoes were unbelievable. I especially thought both guides went out of their way to get to know me! Duvine always does an excellent job in hospitality and making the trip extra special. This was no exception and in fact, surpassed my high expectations! Thank you Duvine, Ernesto, David and our fabulous drivers for making my vacation 100% perfect.

I can't say enough great things about the 7-day private Tuscany tour we just completed -- and I "blame" our fabulous guides, Valentino and Guido. Our family (of 5 adults) did the trip to celebrate my husband's 60 birthday -- and we had a range of riders, from one who raced in college and another who cycled 3 weeks (over the alps) to reach the start of our trip to me, a once-in-a-blue-moon weekend cyclist. My e-bike allowed me to work hard when I wanted, yet keep up with the others (thereby eliminating any demoralization I might otherwise have felt). The routes and roads -- and the lunch, wine & espresso stops along the way -- were truly fabulous. I'm not sure how they did it, but our guides always managed to be at the right place at the right time, with water and snacks when needed, and with the van-driver for the day never making our last rider aware of being followed. (They were also wonderful problem solvers, hounding the airline to find & deliver our daughter's lost luggage, and providing pedals & bike shorts for her to use in the meantime. And no one ever had any problems with the well-maintained bikes.) Guido and Valentino were fun, flexible and creative -- changing the route one day to find a shadier path out of the scorching sun, and another to make an unplanned stop at a winery they knew we'd love. To say that they were knowledgeable about the area would be a vast understatement: Valentino kept running into family friends, who chatted with us and gave us a welcome glimpse into their lives; and Guido (with his "other job" in his family's wine & restaurant business) invariably introduced us to the best local wines and restaurants. Only a few days into the ride, we felt like a family of 7! Other (non-cycling) highlights of the trip included making (and eating!) homemade pasta with Lina (and her adorable young nephew) in her historic home in Montalcino; wine tasting and lunch in a winery, amidst the owner's amazing vintage cycling collection; an impromptu espresso-making lesson for my coffee-obscesed husband at a family-run cafe we stopped at during a ride; and multiple post-ride swims at our hotels. Our guides also gave us a lot of helpful advice for the post-Duvine continuation of our travels in Florence and Cinque Terre. In short, the trip was fabulous. If we ever do another bike tour, it'll be with DuVine.

Christine Kruse

Just returned home from our Greek bike and boat tour, and I can't say enough positive things about the trip. This was our first trip with DuVine, but we've done similar trips with VBT, Backroads and Butterfield and Robinson. DuVine and more specifically the Greek bike and boat, surpassed them all. The guides, the boat, the food made for a trip of a lifetime. The level of service on this trip, and the accommodations on the boat, far surpassed what we had experienced on our other trips. We'll definitely use DuVine again.

Doranne Lackman

I enthusiastically want to endorse and highly recommend DuVine Cycling & Adventure Co. My husband and I have had the pleasure of being one of DuVine's first travelers during our first tour in Burgundy. Since then we have been on 11 other trips. We most recently traveled to Verona & Garda. It was splendid by all measures. The service, relationships, accommodations, food and wine were simply terrific. All of the bikes were brand new with a few being nearly new. We have happily watched DuVine accumulate numbers of honors and awards for outstanding travel and travel experiences. If you want to enjoy an active, educational and fun filled vacation don't miss the opportunity to travel with the DuVine team.

Adam Figueiredo

I am not a cyclist. It was more challenging than expected, and at the same time, I was introduced to a variety of unique landscapes and intimate social environments, that would would have been inaccessible if not for our guides. Adam

The whole trip was wonderful. The guides were very nice, capable, knowledgeable and fun to be with. They kept everything running smoothly and were also very flexible to any special needs. Spring for the ebikes- they’re awesome!

Long overdue review! My family decided to trek on the 4 day Santa Barbara bike trip this past spring. Everything about the trip was first class — from the gorgeous bikes, to our highly professional and friendly tour guides, and the exquisite food and wine. Foxen Canyon was my favorite ride of the trip! The guides even finished off the trip with an incredible dinner and an awesome suprise. I would highly recommend Duvine to all who seek an adventure vacation that balances a great workout with even better views and libations :). My fiancé and I will see you again in Croatia!

Christina Ferri

Just returned from the most magical trip to Burgundy France with DuVine Cycling + Adventure Co. The DuVine team has knocked it out of the park again! This is my 5th DuVine trip and they continue to exceed my expectations...Well Done!

Hi Andy, As usual a great trip, excelent hotels, amazing views in Mallorca and top guides. For me every year would be a divine tour, unfortunately neither I nor my sons are willing to go every year. But don’t worry we will use our next spare time to join you guys, I will let you know in advance. Thanks for the hospitality, as usual top among your competitors. Cheers

Amazing trip - the activities were very fun and varied to match a range of interests (biking, hiking, cooking classes, etc). The locations were fantastic and beautiful. What made the trip extra special was a lot of personal attention from our guides. When we needed an "emergency" gelato run, they were happy to accommodate. More importantly, we had a lot of issues with lost luggage that Valantino and Issaco went above and beyond to help solve. I am not sure we ever would have seen our daughter's bag again if they had not personally persisted to find in at the Milan Airport. I would certainly recommend Duvine and this Verona trip.

Jacques Franey

The trip was fantastic! Our guides, Tom and Marco, could not have been more professional. Well thought out and executed.

Just had a great time in the Czech Republic ending in Vienna ... although I'm not the best rider our guides etc. put up with me and were great! Food, lodging etc. were all 5 star. I highly recommend Duvine and this tour.

Wayne Gale

Great trip to Croatia. Mio and Mario were terrific. Both Experienced Tri -Athletes and both knew so many people on the islands and all of our host restaurant owners. Accommodations and restaurants were all the best in town. Lots of tough hills though so if you are not in shape go for the E-Bikes, you will have more fun.

Just returned from our 7th DuVine bike tour, 6 of them full family trips with our children and grandchildren. All of them have been delightfully memorable. Provence. Central California. Napa and Sonoma. Bordeaux. Tuscany. Umbria. Burgundy. The food, wine, hotels, and bikes - all fabulous with well-trained, friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful guides steeped in local culture. The only hard part is choosing next year’s location. Can’t wait!

Ben Hemani

My wife and I went to the Dolomites with Duvine for our honeymoon. The trip completely exceeded our lofty expectation. The guide was smart, kind, personable, knowledgable, and thoughtful. The itinerary was varied and interesting. The logistics were impeccable. The food amazing. The hotels were very high end. The wine delicious and local. The equipment they provide (Bikes and GPS) were all top of the line. We didnt make it more than 1-2 days into the trip before we started talking about when we can go on our next trip, and what friends we're going to convince to come along. Can't recommend them enough!

Greg Dunlap

We love Duvine. This was our second trip together (and my wife's third). Our group was amazing and our guides were fantastic. We will definitely Duvine again!

Douglas Beach

Prague! We just completed another brilliant Duvine adventure in Prague. We were surprised by the countryside and stunned by the food. The guides are both passionate historians and Czechs, and their love of country beams. This was a short one, (compared to our others: Puglia, Alentejo, Mallorca), but not to be discounted. It provides an alternative look at the Prague area compared to the normal tourist march, and allows one to stack on all the crowds if you want.

If you are looking for a unique, attentive and adventurous experience, DuVine is for you. You get the opportunity to explore niche locations that you would never find on your own and with all the details handled, your only focus is enjoying yourself. The customer service is impeccable (the below are things BEYOND the day-to-day trip): -I ordered the wrong size jersey, I was met with the correct size on the trip -I asked for a foam roller, our amazing guides tracked one down for me -I was continuing on to another city, guess who woke up with a full list of recommendations in my inbox They will extend your rides if you're feeling that extra challenge or bring you along in the van if you're tired. You get to eat the most delicious food without guilt because you bike it all off the next day. If I was an early investor in Apple and could go on vacation full time, it would be with DuVine. 12/10, would recommend.

Tim Willings

Thank you Alicia, Andy, Libby and Valentino for making our Tuscany bike

I would highly recommend Duvine Cycling for anyone considering to ride in Croatia. They put together an incredible six days of riding with terrific meals and wine tastings. Certain days required quite a bit of climbing so they had an E-bike for one of our riders to enhance the experience. A business like this is only as good as their guides. Toni and Duje (locals from Croatia) were amazing in every way. I would highly recommend Duvine - the focus on service with small groups creates a great experience.

Lisa DiAdamo

We had an absolutely wonderful trip! Our guides took care of every detail including planning exceptional rides, choosing wonderful restaurants and even tracking down our lost baggage! Every moment felt like a luxury vacation! They ensured that everyone from our ten-year-old to our seventeen-year-old had an amazing adventure. Organized, meticulous and committed, the Duvine team is simply outstanding!

Anthony Vitone

Excellent Trip, Excellent Guides, Excellent Riding. Thank you Paolo and Guido!

Brent Sutton

We have participated in 7 DuVine tours since 2011 in Italy, Portugal and Spain. All have been excellent. The itineraries are interesting, the cycling is always great, the food and wine is amazing, and the guides are friendly, knowledgeable and always go out of their way to help. Our three favourites (so far) are Sicily, Piedmont (the special truffle tour) and Andalucía. But all the others have been great as well. Be sure to stay at the recommended hotel one or two nights before the tour starts so you are ready to go on day one. Also, DuVine does an excellent job of handling riders of differing abilities, leaving everyone supported and challenged. That said, the Level 3 tours demand that you be in good physical shape.

Ivan Jecklin

Fantastic tour of Tuscany with DuVine! Rolling hills, wonderful guides, charming hotels, plentiful pasta, good wine & better conversation. No better way to spend a week in Tuscany! This was our fourth trip with DuVine, and we are looking forward to more DuVine trips in the future!

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our trip through Puglia. It encompassed everything that was promised and more. The accommodations, food, and scenery were beyond compare. Somehow, we also managed to end up with an incredible group of people on our trip (thank you DuVine!). We had two exceptional Italian tour guides, Paolo and Davide, who took pride in providing our group with the ultimate experience. They were diligent in providing course guidance. Prior to each ride, we reviewed the upcoming route. Our bikes were well maintained and were attended to daily by Paolo and Davide. We have already been scouting our next DuVine adventure!

Howard Benson

Great trip through Puglia Italy with awesome guides Marco and Antonia. Was hard enough to feel like you accomplished something but not to the point where u were worried about the next ride. Guides are super qualified for riding and guiding and just generally very well prepared to help with anything u need. Accommodations were top of the line... Food excellent... Was our 2nd trip with them. Bikes are Cannondales and electric bikes available if u want. I will be there for a 3rd trip!

You MUST do one of these Duvine tours! Trust me, there is absolutely no better way to see the countryside than by bike. And these tours are not just for serious bikers - there is something for everyone. Duvine exceeded all my high expectations. The Duvine bike tours are especially unique. They have very small groups and highly experienced LOCAL guides that tailor the experience to your group. We never felt rushed, we always felt just challenged enough. I went on the tour with a girl friend who is a less experienced biker, and she has been completely converted. I am absolutely doing another tour with more friends. If someone is scared of the biking commitment - just get them an E-bike! There were so many highlights I can't list them all here. One of our guides was also a chef and made us a delicious picnic lunch with all local fresh ingredients - cheese, four different kinds of salads, exactly the food our group loved, on top of a charming hill in Burgundy. It was so special. The tour felt very personal. The hotels and meals were top notch. It was such a pleasure to spend four days with our fellow travelers. I can't wait to do another.

We recently returned from a 10 day private cycling /hiking and culinary tour of Slovenia. Our guides were great and really showed us the heart of this beautiful country through our cycling and hiking journey. We stayed at amazing hotels and villas and had amazing food and wine featuring the best of Slovenia . We had two amazing dinners at Hisa Franko and must dining experience when in Slovenia. But there are other culinary gems throughout Slovenia and very passionate chefs who love to cook with the local ingredients . Duvine took care of everything without a hitch. We are sure to return. In the future Nimu and Domenica. Toronto and Ontario

The tour exceeded the expectation that I had! The places, the guides, the food, the biking...everything was amazing!!!!

Jody Davis

Everything about our DuVine trip was extraordinary! From the minute we met our amazing guide, Gonzalo, to our final wine dinner. The care and attention we received was beyond our expectations. Thank you for making our 35th wedding anniversary one we will remember and cherish forever. You guys are the best

My wife and I just returned from a spectacular bespoke trip to the Alentejo region of Portugal (6/24-28). We had four solid days of riding and touring with our most excellent of guides, Pedro. From the initial pickup at the airport to the drop-off in Lisbon, everything about our experience was exceptional - the cycling, the hotels, the food, the sights/visits and the service (we thoroughly enjoyed spending time with Pedro, excellent guide and great company!). It was our first experience with Duvine, but most certainly won't be our last. Highly, highly recommended.

Duvine runs incredible tours. My trip to Croatia was unforgettable! The local guides were knowledgeable, professional, and went above and beyond with their attention to detail. Every meal was delicious, from lunch in a hidden local cafe to a 7-course stunner full of local delicacies. The wine tastings were superb, and highlighted the Plavac Mali, Croatia's signature bold red. Accommodations were spot on, just the right balance of local flair and luxurious comfort (with some incredible ocean views!). The bike routes were well-paved, despite navigating through several beautiful old vineyards and coastal ridges. Knowing that each day would bring new adventures, culinary wonders, and epic vistas was quite the treat. Can't recommend highly enough!

Polina Lentsi

Amazing company & guides! Everyone is very knowledgeable & friendly. Definitely recommend DuVine - you'll have an amazing experience!

Donald VanDevanter

We just completed a wonderful tour of the Loire valley... excellent guides and accommodations, really nice bikes, good routes, unbelievable sights, and even a French cooking class. This was our second DuVine tour and my wife and I really enjoyed both. I highly recommend the company and the tour.

Connie Figgie

Fantastic trip in Tuscany-first class in every way- Guides were outstanding- Valentino and Libby- one of the best vacations ever- next year -Sicily- Duvine is 5+ stars

Mike Ascione

Just returned from an epic trip through the Dolomites with DuVine. This was my second DuVine led, custom trip. We put this one together for a group of friends and designed a true Dolomite adventure- lots of great cycling, incredible climbs, wonderful hotels (loved both Rosa Alpina and Eden Hotel Bormio), beautiful meals and of course plenty of espresso along the way. Our DuVine guides (Valentino and Pacco) were just phenomenal, truly great tour leaders. We finished our custom giro with the Maratona dles Dolomites, a once in a lifetime, existential cycling event. Everything was A+, thank you DuVine for an outstanding tour. Highly recommend to all.

B.J. Hull

Our cycling trip in Portugal was absolutely amazing. The guides, food, hotels, etc. were all 5-star.

Catherine Jelinek

This was an incredible adventure and one of the best ways to see South Africa that I could imagine. The guides are amazing, top-notch. And the entire experience is flawless - immersion into the culture, play and physical movement with cycling, and amazing meals and accommodations. It really is the best.

Everything was perfectly organized, our guides Valentino and Libby took great care of us. Tuscany is beautiful and all the hotels we stayed at were wonderful. It was a worthwhile unique experience, with lots of local and cultural exposure that you wouldn’t normally receive when you’re a tourist. My wife and I had a blast and we would highly recommend it to cycling and fitness enthusiasts.

Michael Kitson

Took the "Challenge" tour of the French Alps, beginning Sep 2018. Started in Geneva and ended in Nice. Simply an outstanding experience. Guides Ernesto and Olivier were fantastic. Routes were well-designed, accommodations were wonderful. Good equipment that met my fitting expectations.Tremendous views, truly challenging climbs. Met some fantastic fellow riders on the tour as well. Can't think of a single thing I would change.

Pat Kragt

Duvine Tuscany in 2014 and Duvine Czech/Austria 2018. Both were wonderful trips, different but at the same time well thought in every way. Beautiful scenery, exquisite meals, fabulous accommodations and the same great service each and every day. Thank you Duvine for your vested interest in your travelers. We have had wonderful guides on both tours! Thank you again. Pat Kragt

Karen O'Bryan

Our guides , Paolo and Marco, for the 4 day Tuscany tour were fantastic! Their humor along with keeping us safe and on schedule was outstanding! The accommodations were 1st class! The food choices along with wine were wonderful! The scenery was breathtaking!! I would rate the trip at 5+ out of 5 and recommend any DuVine tours as many in our group have done more than one trip and had nothing but great things to say about them. Thank you Paola and Marco for the experience of a lifetime!!

Tom Jamar

Our guides were excellent especially Didier. Accommodations and were also very good.

Our 5 days spent cycling in the Douro was fantastic. Our guides support was perfect. Sad it had to end. THANKS DUVINE

Sharron Lannan

From the moment we arrived we were swept into the “Duvine” experience. Our guides were knowledgeable about the area and it’s history and spoke multiple languages. Each guide also provided us with spur of the moment experiences along the way that made the tour that much more special. I have never been a biker, but today and forever more I am hooked. Can’t wait to do another tour next spring or summer. Amazing high end biking company, from start to finish. First class! Thank you!

Lori Shaw

Our bike trip with DuVine in Croatia was absolutely 5 star...HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Carolyn Zern

Recently back from the Provence 4 Day tour and I've been bragging about DuVine and what a fantastic job the whole team does since I got back. Can't wait to plan my next trip and get back out there!

Hadley Winslow

Our experience with DuVine in Italy around the Lake Garda area was nothing short of incredible. As a group of two families (4 and 5 members each) with ages ranging from 10-50, we unanimously agreed that our trip was a 10/10, and we would eagerly recommend DuVine to anyone looking for a luxurious vacation full of beautiful scenery, exercise, boutique hotels, and delicious, authentic food and wine. The food and accommodations were outstanding. From old water mill buildings restored into beautiful rooms for a small hotel to mountaintop chalets, we truly experienced authentic Italian food, villages, and sights. We ate enough delicious pasta to last a lifetime and even learned how to make our own at a private cooking class arranged by our guides - how cool! Our itinerary was comprised of varying athletic endeavors, including road biking, hiking, Via Ferrata-ing (an Italian form of mountaineering), and swimming. While a few of us chose road bikes, most of us opted for hybrid bikes (which I would highly recommend for novice bikers or children). The bikes were relatively comfortable and useful for the occasionally varying terrain (paved roads but also gravel at times). Each day was, without fail, more fun than the next. Whether we were on the bikes or off, the scenery was always stunning, we never were hungry (our guides prepared fresh fruit and granola bars each day and set up food for us during rest breaks), and there was always the option of riding in the van for those who got tired! Our five days of adventure were fun and vastly different. Our first day we did a short 18-mile ride through wineries and old towns, and the second day we set off on a bike path and rode to Mantova, an adorable town 20 miles away from our accommodations in Borghetto. For those that didn’t want to ride back, we got to visit a nice water park. On the third day, we took a gondola up to the top of Monte Baldo and hiked. On the fourth day we tried our hand at Via Ferrata, visited a river for lunch, enjoyed a swim, and bridge jumped. On our last day, we biked 30 miles (mostly downhill) and were surprised with a gorgeous lunch at a small vineyard prepared by our guides. What may have been the most wonderful part of our trip were our guides. Valentino and Isacco made sure we were comfortable, happy, enjoying ourselves, and safe no matter the activity. Not only were they highly competent bikers and athletes, but they organized fabulous lunches and dinners, expeditions and excursions, were very accommodating of our large group’s various needs, and they did it all with smiles on their faces. Most of all, Valentino and Isacco made it look easy, which we know it was not! All this to say that I could not recommend DuVine more highly to any family looking for a wonderful adventure full of incredible experiences, food, wine, and sights. We will certainly be looking forward to our next DuVine trip!

Ted Andrews

It helped that the weather was beautiful, but the trip was wonderful, with just 8 of us, Miami, Seattle, Hong Kong and Mexico City represented. The trip was flawlessly executed by our guides, despite some glitches they had to work around. Staying in lovely hotels, some with 2-night stays, the meals were also of note. Oh, and did I forget to mention the wine?!! I added a few wineries I wanted to visit in the afternoons and the guides were able to arrange them for us, which made the trip very special.

Ruth Lazarus

unbelievably fantastic trip to Slovenia.. guides Jure and Jure made 4 cold rainy days into an adventure of a lifetime. Thank you!

Viktoria Schrager

Guides went above and beyond making sure the trip was perfect for everyone in the group. It was a fabulous fabulous trip! Rides were well thought through and there was a nice mix of sightseeing and riding. The bike size I ordered wasn’t delivered but the substitute was fine and they gave me a credit to make it feel better. Much smaller group and higher quality than Backroads and Trek in my opinion for more or less the same price. Trek trips may have more serious riders but I think that just really varies trip to trip.

Deb Gisch

Our guides, Craig and Scott, were excellent. Encouraging, knowledgeable, clear communicators, kind, supportive and they went above and beyond my expectations. Bike was in excellent condition, but I needed a different style of bike. It was available the next day. Meals were incredible! Coffee stops, picnics and treats during the ride were welcome and delicious. Most of all, their biking expertise made the trip fun, interesting, and challenging but enjoyable.
