You will be able to see the opinions of real people who consumed the services and products of Maine State Visitor Information Center (Travel Agency) in the area close to the state of Maine.
Nowadays the firm receives a rating of 4.5 out of 5 and the rating is based on 1763 reviews.
You must have seen that the average of ratings is practically the top, and it is founded on a very large number of feddbacks, so we may say that the rating is very reliable. If there are many people who bothered to leave their opinion when they are happy, is that it works.
As you know, we don't usually stop to place scores when these are positive and we usually do it only if we have had a problem or incidence...
This Travel Agency belongs to the category of Tourist information center.
Beautiful spot to relax and get a little bit of information.
Lots of pamphlets! Had toilets.only vending machines for snacks. Good practical toilet stop. Looks like a nice park-like dog wslk area tho!!
Nice place to stop and rest on your way up. Clean bathrooms and a nice visitors center to get some info on your trip. There are vending machines.
Always a clean and friendly place. Well staffed by people who were exceptionally helpful.
A great, woodland visitors center in Kittery, Maine.
Great source of information regarding tourist activities and so much more
Very informative and the staff very helpful. Bathrooms are clean and you can play lotto here too. Landscaping outside is well kept too so worth the pit stop definitely.
This is a pleasant place to stop to use the bathroom. There are also places to walk dogs and places to sit. There is no restaurant here, just vending machines.
Omg cant explain how much i loved this place. The location is beautiful and the staff there is so much willing to help you. Its much bigger compared to other visitor centres and washrooms were also nice. The best part was the staff was welcoming people with maines home grown apples and wild bluberries. Felt like coming home
This is a lovely rest stop, we've stopped through here several times and the place was always clean and the staff is friendly.
Going on a road trip it's a must to stop here all kinds of information and the people there are great plus they know the state keep up the good work
Great location for a quick stop. Clean restroom.
One of the most beautiful rest stops in the country!
Great place to find out what there is to offer for your time in Maine. Very clean, restrooms and friendly staff that happy to answer questions
Older, but nicely designed rest stop.. The design makes you think of an old Maine hunting cabin.. Bathrooms are dated, but clean,, staff are helpful, there's a gift shop that's Maine themed,, the vending machines out front take credit cards only,, no cash
Honesty, nothing wrong with facilities. I was on a long distance trip and passed through here at 3 a.m. much needed to sleep but signs for no overnight parking sleeping got me back on the road. not safe really. let a fella snooze! put a 2 hour limit on a spot maybe?
I love visitor centers. They are so welcoming.
Great pit stop. Excellent source to info to pick up!
Good place to stop and use bathroom also very nature like
Have everything that you need. But I will say, that the bathrooms could be a little cleaner. They stunk to high heaven's. Lol. Saying it nicely. But everything else was good
Helpful staff. Full of useful information about the surrounding area.
Friendly staff. Well stocked with brochures that show all of Maine. Great way to get ideas for your stay.
I mean, it's a service area on the highway. It's clean you can do what you need to do, and it's visually pretty. Have a great little information area inside where you can find out all about Maine. There's also a few pokestops here for you Pokemon go people
Clean, scenic, rest stop where you can really enjoy a rest.
Best rest stop. If I can't afford to take my uncle to a rest home, I'll just drop him off here.
Always a smart stop: I always learn sitting new, staff are very happy to help, good camping and area guides. Plenty of parking for a quick pit stop.I miss the big fire place fire in the winter
Easy access and exit, clean and well maintained facilities, grounds were well maintained. My only complaint is that the prices at the vending machines are ridiculous. $3.10 for a small Gatorade, $2.60 for a 20oz coke
Beautiful place to stop and stretch your legs, but I wish the staffed part was open later or there was a way to get books even when it's closed. We were disappointed that we couldn't get a coupon book because they're locked up after hours. Otherwise, beautiful introduction to Maine!
Outstanding staff! Super clean, well lit and welcoming. Thank you State of Maine! ❤️
Well maintained, area for pet walking. Clean. Staffed.
Guy who answered our questions needs to retire- kinda doom and gloom. We are headed to Acadia with our camper. Told us that we probably won't be able to get a campsite, even at the KOA. Got a campsite when we got on the road again. Also poohed the idea of going to Aroostook- said its nothing but potatoes. Hopefully, his recommendation to see moose at Moosejead Lake will be favorable :)
Very scenic. A nice place to take a break from a very busy drive. Actual people there to answer questions. At least there is in the summer.
GREAT REST STOP! Best dog friendly stop we have ever visited. Very well kept up. kudos Maine!
This is a necessary and usually busy stop with plenty of room to accommodate commuter travelers and vacationers alike. Fridays evenings in the summer are the busiest time. There are vending machines on site, but no coffee shop.
Decent rest rooms. Places to relax and eat outside when the weather is nice. Snack machines aren't great. Parking lots for campers and trucks. Handicap accessible.
It was a nice place to stop and the restrooms are clean. Martha gave us great advice and directions of where to go for our needs.
Best place to stop on the way back home. From traveling for work .. thank you to all that keep it so clean and safe and nicely stocked.. your work and dedication is appreciated
This was a great place. Besides having the bathrooms, there was tons of information on things to do in Maine. But the most impressive thing I found was a wooden rocking chair. I really needed it at the time. I was very tired and needed a place to site and the rocking chair was great! I think I will suggest to the AARP that they should donate at least one Rocking Chair for all rest stops across the USA!
Love stopping here for a breather before the rest of our drive. Tons of information on fun areas and things to do in Maine.
I mean it's okay as a visitor's center. I DEFINITELY confused it with the Kennebunk Rest Stop and thought this one was equally as full of amenities (hot foods and fuel). Instead it's 5000 brochures and some eager concierges plus l vending machines and restrooms.
Maine state visitor information center was a wonderful stop for me. It had all kinds of brochures for the entire state of Maine from the mountains to the Lakes regions to the Seacoast and everything in between. It has everything I need to know about the state of Maine. The building itself is very clean, very well organized and very bright. thank you for having all the brochures did I needed.
This is a nice clean rest stop. Staff were friendly and helpful. Restrooms are clean. There is a separate building where there is an ATM and vending machines.
very clean, lots of space, plenty of room for your pet's
First sign to greet me was no overnight camping. Inside wasn't very inviting. I walked out and drove to New Hampshire instead.
A great place to stop when you arrive in Maine. Super knowledgeable people staff the Center. Tons of great publications to pick up to help you plan your days in Maine. Clean restrooms. Place to walk your dog.
Great place, clean bathrooms and alot of reference material for any adventure you may wish to undertake.
Very nice
6:00pm and there was nobody around to help. Needed a hotel, did it on our own.
Greet Smokie, the Bear;)
This place has tons of information and staff to help you. Very clean and neat.
I loved the apples, they know their state.
Very helpful and friendly service. Very nice inside
Great place to stop while traveling north on the Maine Turnpike. Has vending machines and restrooms
The people working at the visitor center was very helpful ,to help us get to Boothbay Harbor Maine.very nice people.
Nice, helpful people. The brochure for the Schoodic peninsula was better than anything at the park station.Very glad we stopped here.
Plethora of state and travel info. Lovely and clean facility.
Staffs are friendly & guided us in finding best places to see. Best visitor info center.
Great information stop. Loved Smokey the Bear
Well done. Nice stop and helpful info and staff.
Tourism portion was closed by the time we got there, but the place is clean and helpful.
Really crowded and A Great park for dogs and. people.
Very secluded place very. Grass is overgrown. Adds a bit of charm. Love it
The only thing that I disliked about this place was the lack of dog clean up bags in the dedicated dog walk area. How are you supposed to clean up after your pet? There is a trash can for them though
Staff was more informative than any other welcome center. Pleasant, clean, welcoming. Bathrooms & vending.
Good for a quick stop to stretch out your legs and grab a quick bit from the bmvending machines
So helpful! The staff made suggestions and mapped out a scenic route.
Clean place. Personable staff. Great spot for a picnic before you head off on your travels.
There is no state as beautiful as Maine! The people are so friendly so helpful and kind. I love to visit the Maine State visitor center! You will never find cleaner rest areas than in this State of Maine.
WONDERFUL! CLEAN & SAFE. MORE THEN ENOUGH PARKING FOR US TRUCK DRIVERS AND PASSENGER CARS ALIKE. KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK MAINE. 1ST TIME TO YOUR BEAUTIFUL STATE AND SO FAR YOU'VE LIVED UP TO YOUR REPUTATION! I HOPE TO CONTINUE TO VISIT YOUR REST STOP WHENEVER I GET A LOAD UP THIS WAY AGAIN.
Surprisingly, I was moved to review this information center. Great place to get out and stretch your legs in the midst of a long drive. Situated back from the highway and shielded by trees, you really can disengage from the road. The …
Beautiful place and super friendly staff. In over 40 states visited, this was the best welcome center ever!
Great folks there to help. Lots of info and brouchers. Trails are close as well as another route
Nice place but they were cleaning bathrooms during busy time. Need to work around guests. Can't close bathrooms in a rest area.
Stopped in here for a map, this welcome center is gorgeous!!! Very friendly staff.
Very nice place had alot of information on the area and great places to visit!
Just a fine way to start your Maine visit
One of the best visitor's centers you will find...Lotsa info and set in a beautiful location...A nice way to be introduced to Maine...Would like to see small maple candies offered as a Welcome to Maine treat (i.e. FL does OJ)...Gotta love Maine!
Clean bathrooms, ample parking, needs more outdoor lighting and having food there in the form if a over the counter take away style vs just vending machines in an outdoor hut would be nice. Also a place to get fuel and souvenirs too would …
Always clean. Perfect half way stop on the way to Old Orchard.
Amazing place. The staff are professional and EXTREMELY helpful. The property is tidy and clean. Plenty of information!!
Wonderful, helpful staff. Plenty of state visitor information.
One of the best yet, the size of the place, beautiful construction all huge beams in the ceiling. A wonderful rest stop, this place has it all.
Very large welcome center with bathrooms. There were exhibits of Maine activities and free literature for various attractions. There is a separate spot to walk your dogs and vending machines. Good place to get out behind the wheel and stretch.
Nice convenient stop on a long ride. Easy in easy out. The time I levitated through Center was not crowded at all, plenty of facilities to use with out a waiting line.
The person we spoke to was so helpful!
Nice and clean. Info for places to visit in the whole state. Had free local apples at the desk, nice treat.
Great. Pamphlet city. You wanna know something about Maine? They got it.
Nice little spot to stretch one's legs. Staff is friendly and the grounds are kept up nicely. Good variety of pamphlets for activities in Maine.
Friendly staff. Geat place to get information on Maine.
This is a great place to stop for information on Maine. It's very clean and well kept with pleanty of parking and knowledgeable friendly staff.
I love the space this state visit center has. It has a nice walking path for dogs, picnic tables away from traffic. The vending machines couldve used some attention but on a busy day that can be expected. The view of the building is beautiful, they did a nice job designing this place
Bathrooms are pretty clean. Tons of pamphlets. Photo op with Smokey the bear. Credit card vending machines. Play area for dogs set back a bit.
GREAT AREA TO INTRODUCE YOU TO THE BEAUTIFUL STATE OF MAINE.
Probably one of the nicest looking visitor stops for a state I have been in. Really cool and has a Maine road sign to get a photo in front of.
Clean bathrooms! Family restroom! (Major plus when traveling with children) Plus tons of great info on Maine.
The place was very clean. Even met a new friend, although he kept on and on about preventing forest fire. I tolerated his rant, cuz he's kind of a celebrity up in Maine
Very nice. Beautiful landscaping, lots of interesting historical displays, wifi, quite special.
Lovely building. Staff were sort of heloful. Didn't give me much options. I did grab several brochures myself. Would have liked a better guide for lodging.
A very warm and inviting place to take a travel break.
Best rest stop ever! So beautiful!
Very clean and convenient rest area. It was also well lit, which was great because it was pitch black outside when we arrived. Some rest areas don't feel very safe, but this one was great. Plenty of parking, & beautiful park like area for me to walk my puppy around the next morning.
It was great they were very helpful and I got to get my picture taken with the Gordon fisherman
I always stop there each time I pass state line . My own tradition
Very helpful place to stop at when vacationing. Maps are available and the staff there helpful.
Barbara was awesome!!! She too her time to tell us scenic route heading to ongoquit... Beautiful scenery.. Loved the lighthouse... From Boston and I will b back... Thank u Barbara
Great welcome to Maine! Tons of free resources too. Clean restrooms
Dont use the vending machines. They RIP you off and to get your money back you have to fill out a claim envelope and come back later to get your money.i lost $3 in coffee machine.4 other people lost money while I was their.state workers inside said they have a lot of problems with them. Big ripoff!
Often when we're coming back to Maine we stop at this rest stop. Restrooms have always been clean. There are a lot of trees but the parking area is mostly well lit. No gas available here. Basically, this is a good place to stop, stretch your legs, and have a bathroom break for that last bit of the drive home.
Went here last Wednesday, June 12th. Love that you can get brochures for every place to go to in Maine. Restroom was fine and clean. Only problem was the water to wash your hands was cold. Use hand dryers to dry your hands instead of paper towels. Otherwise a very nice rest stop.
Gave me a free map which was a lifesaver on my 200mile tri to Webb lake. Such helpful ladies!!! Thanks so very very much
This, usually clean at any time of day, woman's facility was disgustingly, filthy (four toilets I checked had poo slicked seats, and sticky floors) .. yech... I hear the men's room was spotless...
Not sure how to address all but simply wonderful people everywhere we went.
If you have any questions about Maine you will find the answers here. The staff is very helpful and knowledgeable. The restrooms are clean and modern.
Clean bathrooms. Many pamphlets with events and attraction. Nice landscaped.
Always enjoy this rest area. Great place to take a 10 hour break.
Good place for quick rest stop Too much graffiti in men's room.
Helpful, staff kind. Bathrooms could use some more attention.
Clean, and a good place to stop, rest and strech out.
Good to be back in Maine! Take a moment to walk up on the rocks off the weather allows.
Facilities are clean and the vending machines kept full and in working order. Parking us easy, and there are designated places for pets to be walked!
Great welcome center, clean restrooms, lots of good information, friendly staff
Nice place. Well laid out . Friendly and you can walk around. This is next to a wooded area.
Friendliest people in Maine. Most Beautiful Visitors Center I've ever been in
Awesome. Alot information. If you need it. Thsnk you
Clean, nice place to stop. I am proud to be an American AND a Mainah!! Saddened to see the deplorable shape both flags are in, tattered and torn, dirty looking. From winter winds most likely....Time to replace!! Thanks
Family goes to Maine quite often. The place always feels very welcoming and clean.
The bathrooms were filthy both times we have stopped yesterday going down to NH and today coming back up from NH. The outer eating area was clean though so that was a good thing but the bathrooms are a place I would hope would be a priority as well as food area as diseases can be passed there and wet floors from splashed water and other reasons which I will not name for the reasons of being overly gross are a MASSIVE slipping hazard. Food was not bad typical fast food.
Great service / for outsiders
