Free, easily accessible, pet friendly & well maintained. Only one small area of turtles & baby alligators. Seemed like there could have been more there with the amount of space this area has. Nice sidewalks with piers to walk around the lake area. Staff at the visitors center (next door)were super nice & resourceful.

Great place to learn all about the Lake Charles area. This is especially fun for children with lots demonstrating venues. Highly recommend.

It was a great place to go! I loved the calm and humble area this place has. Its full of good vibes. I saw many alligators at the Parish down exist A36 ok I-10. Overall, great experience.
