I purchased a Groupon for this tour. I then called the number groupon emailed me and made a reservation. I was told to be there at 930a 30 mins before the tour and all was set. I called a few days later to find out how long the tour was and confirmed it was 3 hours. On the day of the tour we went to the address provided on the phone and they told me I had no reservation and that the 800 number Groupon gives is wrong and I made a reservation with Theo swap tour site and that it did not come through. They then told me this was the 4 th time this happened with Groupon and said that there was nothing they could do because the tour was booked. They were not sympathetic at all! Don't go here they will probably lose your reservation too!

Absolutely amazing! Mickie our driver was outstanding and made the tour amazing , very knowledgeable and fun! Definitely recommend her!

I bought the New Orleans pass online. I liked that I could activate it at anytime then the consecutive days count day began. It took me forever to find the location to actually activate the pass since I was not familiar with the area..all around great savings. I'd definitely say spend a day or two going over what you wanna do, so you really get to enjoy the boat tours which happen earlier in the day.

Whomever answered the phone when I called to ask questions about the tour and booking was just flat out rude and not helpful at all. They even switched lines to talk to someone else . I read the reviews after I called and spoke with this man and I'm so glad i didnt give these people my money . This company should be avoided at all costs .

Samantha Hussey

This tour was so much fun and a great way to see all the key parts of the city. Our tour guide/bus driving Mickey was awesome

Jennifer Driggers

Nice bus, really fun local guide.

Get the power pass for new Orleans here. Saves money. Be prepared that when you go inside it feels dirty and I saw a dead roach the size of my thumb. The guy who works here is unhelpful in terms of booking the reservations for the power pass which allows you to access 25 attractions for a certain amount of days depending on what you buy. But take into consideration that some of the tours in the power pass are very similar.

Was a very good tour. The tour guide knows New Orleans history quite well! Enjoyed the tour!

I am pretty glad that I didn't read the reviews before making the decision to take the tour. It was recommended by our hotel concierge when we originally asked about the hop-on hop-off tour. We were picked up from Homewood Suites on Poydras, and whisked away to a slightly sketchy looking building. Honestly, this isn't a very upscale kind of tour. The tour guide, Richard, was informative, nice, and low-key. He had an extensive knowledge of the city and was a NOLA native. He told us stories about every location we went to, had personal stories to share related to those locations, gave recommendations for food, drinks, and even had a great knowledge of interesting things to do that weren't necessarily touristy. It was a very colorful time and truly good way to spend the day.

Great guide. Lots of stories and information.

Great city bus tour with a good historian lecture from the tour guide. A couple of stops on the tour are City Park and St. Louis Cemetery #3. We were driven past where a levee breached during Hurricane Katrina. It is good to see much of the city recovered since the historic flooding, but also sad to know many people and places have not returned to it's previous glory. All major areas of the city are seen including the home of Archie Manning. We were also given ideas of good places to view Krewe parades in conjunction of Mardi Gras month.

Wife and I bought the Groupon (Tour for two for total of $62.00) and we took this tour 9/12/18. Driver, Howie was a hoot, full of info and made it a fun day. Good Tour!!!

Vanessa Padilla

It's a small building that can help you book reservations to some of the attractions. We were able to sit down inside and plan out our itinerary. There were people constantly walking up for information and the staff was helpful.

Gilbert Brown

I really enjoyed the tour it was very informative I had a situation that happened to me and I got off to tOur I left my phone on the tour bus and when I discovered it is closing time and the driver had gone homeSo the supervisor call the gentleman that was off duty he came went to the yard picked up my phone repairing it to me and then took me back to the hotel free of charge I was so appreciative that I will always talk with this company thank you very much

Do not use groupon for this merchant. You will be treated like a second class citizen. Called 48 hours in advance like the instruction said and was told they only take a certain amount of groupons per tour and they have all they will take on the day i needed. Like i am supposed to rearrange my itinerary for my trip to suit there needs? That is ok, i will spend my money at a merchant that appreciates my patronage. I was only saving 15 a ticket on groupon so perhaps that is the cost of customer service with them. You might want to try and just pay the full price of $46 and maybe then they will treat you better.

The tour guide was nice, but we did not go to Lake Pontchartrain, botanical gardens, Saint Louis cemetery, Bourbon Street, where the levees broke or the Riverfront. (I'm probably leaving out more) It states on the website that we would visit these places. I was very disappointed. On top of everything else, we were on a bus with rowdy people who would not be quiet for 2 minutes so we can hear the guide. Don't throw money away on this tour. Pay the few dollars more and get a better tour.

Richard and will are very informative and I enjoyed the entire tour.

Our tour guide was not only knowledgeable, but used to be a history teacher. Very proud of his city and knew all the hidden gems. Thanks Richard.

Took the 10AM tour. Fabulous!!!! The driver was very knowledgeable about the history of the city and, in particular, the various styles of architecture. Took the tour my first morning in NOLA and went back to several of the spots he recommended to explore in more detail later in the week (e.g. Esplanade, Garden District) ... Well worth the money. Far better type of tour, in my mind, than the more common "hop on/hop off" type where you don't get any chance to ask questions... however fewer opportunities to take pictures.

Kevin Schmidt

We took a bus tour, the guide was great and very knowledgeable, good stories and sense of humor.

Awesome to our best thing to do to get to know the city and where you want to go. Only way you can really see the city quickly

Had to pick up the city pass from this location after buying it from groupon. This place is so disorganized and messy. The most annoying part is having to bring in a paper copy of your voucher. Most places actually prefer using the voucher on the app but these guys actually wanted a printed copy. They made me go to a hotel and print it out when they had a perfect printer there to use. I even offered to pay for it but they wanted you to go out to get it. Makes no sense. Wish we could pick up the passes from another location. The pass itself is amazing and well worth it.

Great city tour, knowledgeable and entertaining tour guide. Loved it

Let someone else drive and just soak it all in. Our tour guide Richard was a retired teacher and a wealth of information about the area. The tour both educated and entertained (a lot!). We're so glad we sat back and enjoyed such a great couple of hours with Richard and his stories. We sure couldn't beat being picked up and dropped off right at our hotel on St Charles Avenue, either.

jordan nasralla

Don't buy the power pass here it is a total waste of time when you take this pass to the attractions they look at you like your crazy it's a scam

Good prices

The tour was sooo disappointing. Our guide was in her own world rambling on while half of our bus was either asleep or annoyed. Monotonous and repetitive. She kept talking about the levees and pointing out shotgun houses. She would talk about a building before we would reach it and move on to another subject...then we would pass the building and we would miss it. The "bus" is a shuttle and it is very difficult to see out of. I definitely would never pay to do this. It was included in our NOLA pass. Sad we spent 2.5 hours on this.

Jasmine Primas

My fiance' and I bought tickets for the City Bus Tour. Our tour guy was super funny and kept us entertained, but was also very knowledgeable of the city and we learned a lot! If you're looking for a little bit of the African-American history of the city, this isn't the tour for you (google hiddenhistory.us) . Be ware of Val in the office where you purchase tickets, she seems like a really sweet lady, but she can be super rude and unprofessional to the customers and the her colleges unfortunately. I truly felt bad the poor guy. I would recommend it if you're looking to see the city, learn about the city and get a up close and personal history and timeline of Hurricane Katrina.

Dominic Nelms

The tour guide was very knowledgeable

Kyle Smith

This company over booked the tour and refused to refund or help us. The owner spoke to us and told us he was unwilling to refund even though he admitted the tour was over booked. Do not do business with these people. You'll have a better time doing something different anyway.

Vince Thompson

Awesome! Our tour guide Howie was native to New Orleans and knew details about the city that brought flavor and fun. He worked as a first responder after Katrina and shared details of that experience with us. I'd recommend this tour to anyone wanting to learn more and experience New Orleans firsthand.

Ted Barnard

DON NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY BOOKING HERE!!! We booked a tour cheap online through Groupon and was supposed to get picked up here. When we showed up, we were sold a different tour and then charged their booking fee’s on top. If you go there do it only to use their pamphlets and book your own tour or just go through Groupon.

Lisa Fredine

Do the bus tour

Mark Brinker

We came here asking about a cemetery tour, and the guy sold us on a full city tour, which he said included the same amount of cemetery time as the other tour but also included a bunch of other stuff about the city. What it actually turned out to be was a long tour of the garden district with descriptions of the different types of houses. When we got to the cemetery portion, the place was about to close so we stepped inside for about 3 minutes and then back onto the bus. The tour guide wasn't bad but most of the material was so boring that everybody around and the me on the tour bus was asleep by the end. I feel like the salespeople just wanted to sell us in the more expensive tour and was willing to tell us anything we wanted to hear in order to trick us into paying more. The tour was also supposed to be 2.5 hours but went much longer to the point that by the end we were crawling out of our skin to get off the bus.

Freddy Villalona

This place had a good choice of tours around New Orleans, however if you choose to rent a car and travel on your own and not use their shuttle service then they will be rude and not helpfull. They also told us that some tours where in a bad part of the city and our live could be in danger, which it was not the case. We had a Groupon for a 2 day pass and we did most of the stuff saving a couple of money. Be willing to wake up early though to do 2-4 in a day

Fred Spencer

Everything to do with tours in one place.

Aracelis Rea

The advertising shows the picture of a nice, big bus, but you ride a different one. It was aa smaller one and it was warm inside

Apryl Hall

This is worth the money if you don’t want a walking tour and want a shuttle bus instead. We traveled throughout the city and saw many things even I had never seen living just an hour’s drive away! We stopped in City Park and had a break at Morning Call. I used the extra time to run through the Sculpture Garden. We saw homes of celebrities, colleges, art, and almost anything you would want to know about along this historical ride. Definitely recommend-rainy day fun!!!

Gary Weinke

Okay first...our tour was great. .very knowledgeable tour guide. But this company is a rip off...they have NO parking at there place of business...not only did I pay to them...but because I arrived in town early I ended up spending $55 for parking in the lot beside there place of business...I recommend they workout a deal with the city for customers to park there for free...SUCKS!!!

We purchased the 4-ticket Groupon deal and headed straight to our bus tour from the airport. The bus was clean, comfortable and a/c worked great. Howie, our driver-tour guide, was extremely knowledgeable and entertaining. He was packed with historical facts and interesting anecdotes. Our family loved the tour and were glad it was the first thing we did upon arriving at NOLA. The bus allowed for a very manageable size group which made you feel free to ask questions and get more interaction with other participants. Great experience!!

Cindy Kleinfelter

This was our launching spot for our bus tour. We had a great guide who was very knowledgeable about the city and events surrounding Katrina. Definitely worth it.

Korene Harris

If I could leave no stars I would. Totally horrible experience. Avoid at all costs!!!

HM Kennedy

This tour was recommended by our hotel and did not disappoint. Howie, our driver, was extremely knowledgeable about the history of the city, a long with being highly entertaining. Additionally, as a first responder to Katrina, he offered us many insights and a personal perspective of the disaster. It was a great way to spend the morning, thank you for an excellent tour!

Gloria F Herbert

We were on Amtrak's vacation tour with 2 day power pass and the only FREE tour we got was the 3 hr city tour - all other tours required additional money OR were not included in Power Pass provided by Amtrak. City Tour Guide was very knowledgeable; we saw parts and sights of NOLA that we had never seen before (this was our 3rd visit); however, mini bus was too hot and very bumpy (husband said it definitely needed shocks). Next time we'll book thru hotel to save us trips to Adventures in New Orleans office. P S. Because we had Power Pass, they would not take our reservations via phone. Would recommend the City tour during cooler weather.

Great tour for newbies to learn some history

Ladi Di

My husband and I had a great time on the tour. We learned a lot from Howie and he was funny.

Jennett Jones

This city has so much history, thanks to Mickie our tour guide, being a native was a plus plus, make sure you ask for her.

Amy Syversen

1. They lied to us an and said we couldn't use a Groupon because they couldn't fill the entire bus with Groupon tix. I asked, no one on the bus had a Groupon. 2. The bus driver passed is at our hotel and kept going and he was snarky with us. 3. Worst yet, when we went inside to pay second half of tix, a male worker was calling a female worker stupid to her face and they were going at it in front of lots of customers.

Justin Weber

Decent tours of New Orleans and surrounding area.

There's a gentleman by the name of William at the desk. He definitely should be listed as a treasure of this city. He's gave us the best customer service we've had in NOLA!

Travis Robertson

This company is running scams through Groupon. When you try to set up you reservation with them the say that everything is confirmed. When you call them day of to confirm everything they say we don't accept Groupons. I spent $80 for nothing. I was expecting a city tour and I got nothing. Find a different tour if you visit New Orleans because of the terrible Customer Service they provide.

Great tour of NOLA! You see it all! French Quarter, cemetery tour, City Park, Sculpture Garden, Katrina affected area, celebrity homes... Along the way, history and local stories. Even a stop for beignets. Request Kenny as your tour guide. Hilarious! He answered all our questions and really made the tour! Our 14 and 10-year-olds even enjoyed it!

Enjoyed our tour!

I would recommend when you go to New Orleans make this your first stop. The tour bus gives details of the city you learn from no where else. Gives insight on where to go what to see and can answer any questions.

Shaina Price

We had a great time I seen a lot of people complaining about the time. But if you look on the brochure it tells you to be there at a certain time but it doesn't start for 30 minutes after that time. Get a coffee and relax people ur on vacation. Had a great time the tour guide was hilarious!

Ultreya

NOT ADA compliant. Part of THE New Orleans Pass, so, ppl w/ disabilities, beware, they are getting away without having wheelchair-lifts on their buses. Perhaps because the company is small enough not to have to, but I wouldn't know--bc the man who answered the phone today was so rude, and uninformed, I couldn't get to the bottom of the matter, thus, the main reason for 1 star. He said, "I don't know, because I am not the owner. Do you want to book a tour, OR NOT?"
