We chatted a lot about what we exactly wanted to do, what we were looking for and price. The gave us many options but had high recommendations for one of them they thought would be best for us. They were spot on. We had a fantastic stay at The Royal Play Del Carmen. It was everything they said and more. I could not of been happier with their service and plan on using them in the future. So excited to be going to an all inclusive Sandals Resort in the Bahamas this January! The Travel Junkie is the BEST- don't waste your time anywhere else! They are extremely helpful and professional and will put all your travel concerns to rest. They are very knowledgeable and found the perfect resort for our personalities and interests! Jay & Becca are very fun and friendly and we get a good laugh every time we stop with travel questions. They got us the best deals that no one in town could even get close to. We went on a 2 week trip to Italy for our 10 year anniversary. Angie Enegren sat down with me and helped me finalize our itinerary. We went to Rome, through Tuscany, Cinque Terre, Milan & Venice. While they weren't able to book all of our hotels, Angie was able to book our flight and 2 of our hotels! They were amazing! My husband and I had a cruise booked through Angie Enegren for last week ! It got cancelled due to Hurricane Harvey ! Angie had done a great job planning our cruise and helping us get prepared for it ! We were so disappointed when our cruise got canceled ! She was so nice and understanding with us !! Angie worked very hard and fast to find us an awesome alternative vacation plan for us ! With in an hour or so from our cruise being cancled ,she found us a beautiful all inclusive resort Meliá Coco Beach in Puerto Rico ! Angie was awesome at getting our flights and hotel accommodations booked for us !! Thank you so much ! we had an amazing fun time ! We look forward to using her again on our next adventure !! I picked a very complicated itinerary for my wife and I for our honeymoon, and Steven at Travel Junkie made it happen. We didn't want the typical cruise or an all-inclusive resort; I had in mind to visit Venice, Slovenia, and Croatia on our trip. I understand logistics for a trip like this wouldn't be easy, but Steven was up for it! He helped me find places to stay, transportation routes and schedules, book airplane tickets, and scheduled some unforgettable tours for us. I was skeptical about travel agencies, and I wasn't sure an agency could really help me, given that I have very unique travel style preferences. But Steven was dedicated to helping me plan the kind of trip I would enjoy, and he did this by keeping in good communication with me, and we planned it together. 3 weeks of traveling to places in Europe neither of us had heard of before, and no snafus on the trip whatsoever, until we got home. Everything went smoothly, which is quite a miracle. The only incident was that my bag was lost by the airline on the way back home. For this I blame Air Canada, which has a surprisingly shady (and ineffective) system for tracking baggage. Be very weary of checking bags with Air Canada.

From spending hours looking for just the right vacation destination to early morning emergency phone calls for flight delays, they have always been there ready to help and steer us in the right direction. There aren't many perfect deals left in the world but getting a travel agent at absolutely no cost is one of those hidden secrets everyone should take advantage of!

Honestly it's too bad that I have to put a single star on this review. If I could put negative stars I would. This is our first time traveling out of the country, and it is for our 10 year wedding anniversary. I thought that using a travel agent would make things smoother since we were newbies... but was I wrong! Getting information is like pulling teeth. Slow response time, ask 4 questions, get answers to maybe 1 of them. The rest get ignored. Miss-quoted my balance several times, didn't have record of some of my payments. Repeatedly asked to have an excursion added to our trip and they never added it, but would be happy to charge me more. Of course. Our agent was inattentive and scattered through the whole process, and it was like they were herding us to 1 place only. Asked for options in other countries, and all she would send back is the 1 place. It would take a week or more for email responses and again only 1 or 2 of the questions I asked were answered. Save yourself some hassle and go with another company. Maybe other agents in the company are better? I don't know, but avoid Becca Dill... she was awful!

Have tried for two days with very little response. Recording on machine says they will contact you in two business hours. First time I left a message it was eight hours later. They called me back at 8:30 in the evening. The second time I called back I called around 10 AM and still have not heard back. The gentleman I spoke with said he would email me some options the following day and nothing has arrived. Very hard to get a hold of.

Will never book through this company again. Please be sure to research all other options available before doing so. They have made a first time traveler experience absolutely dreadful. After a major family emergency and death in the family I regretfully and understandably had to cancel my trip. Prior to cancellation I reached out to the agent in advance asking what my options were etc. We were advised that I had 24 hours to cancel and I would receive a full refund minus the deposit which was understood. Today, over 40 days since the trip was cancelled no refund has been received. After a full day of stressful interactions with an Agent who acts as if she has never processed a cancellation, false information, and the run around I have been informed that almost 50% of my refund is being with held because of a shared room.

The staff at Travel Junkies took the stress out of planning our trip to France. We just told them what we enjoyed doing on vacation, and a couple days later they had a package together that was everything we could hope for. This would have taking me weeks to plan and find the best rates.

She was a great resource as she has been many of the places and could tell us the pros and cons. She made the entire process fun from beginning to end!! I have used the Travel Junkie in the past and highly recommend them. Even if it's last minute days before a major holiday they can get you an awesome deal. However they do it all from the last minute to a huge extravagant getaway. Let them unravel your travel.

I scheduled a meeting and got a confirmation email as to the date and time. We showed up, No one was at the office. No one answering the phones. Not a good look. **The owner did call to apologize after I left her a voicemail and states she sent an email canceling our appointment, however, I searched my inbox, spam, and deleted (just in case I accidentally deleted it) folders and found no additional emails from her canceling our scheduled appointment. Also, when she called to apologize, she told me she would forward a copy of her original email to me, and it was never received either.

My husband decided at the last minute we need to go on a cruise to see if it something we would do again. We went on 7 day Caribbean cruise which ended up being 13 day cruise due to Hurricane Harvey. We had a blast we were safe In the ocean away from all the damaging winds, and destruction. We had to go to Miami Fl to restock and refuel and half the Passengers did get off to fly home. Angie Enegren was awesome she had picked a really awesome 1st Cruise. The excursions we went on unfortunately we had to walk a long ways because they didn't have port clearances for the companies they used. Great people though! And smaller groups. But it was odd having to get into a Taxi anyway to to get back to the ports. I think in the future we may book our excursions on the ship on the first day or two while sailing to our destinations. Because as soon as you get to the ports they are right there. On one we were late because of the time difference. But they did have a taxi waiting for us to take us to meet up with our group. That was very nice so if you book thru them you will get to your group if your late. It was a blast and I'm ready again just not 13 days next time. Lol Thank you Angie Enegren will be seeing Travel Junkie again for our next one ☝️

My husband and I were stranded in Wichita before we ever left. Trying to get to Ft Lauderdale for a cruise the next day. A nice lady in front of me in line trying to rebook told me to call Jay and Becca at The Travel Junkie to help. Well I did and Becca saved the day! She did not even know us but she made calls and helped us out without hesitation. Becca found a flight to Chicago that night (the airlines were no help) and and early flight the next day to Ft Lauderdale and we made the cruise! I used the Travel Junkie to send my 12 year old son and his 12 year old cousin from Kansas to Louisiana by themselves on an airplane (first time flying). I couldn't have asked for a better experience! I was SO nervous about all the things that could go wrong, but I should have had better faith! Lori was able to get a non stop flight, which was my first priority, and she found it at a GREAT price! They helped me to not only be able to walk them all the way to their gate, but also to pick them up from their gate when arriving back home, and get them to be one of the first passengers seated on the plane. The kids had a WONDERFUL experience, and it was nice to be able to have a real person help me through my worried moments of "is everything going to be ok." I trusted my most prized possession (my son) with the Travel Junkie, and would never think twice to do it again! These guys are the BEST! Thank you for the wonderful customer service and going above and beyond anything I could have even asked for!

Quit using Travelocity and those "other" do-it-yourself sites that charge too much and place your travel planning needs on the shoulders of this awesome crew. They love what they do and it shows. My wife and I scheduled our honeymoon through the Travel Junkie, and everything sounded like it would be fine. Our agent told us about all the great benefits we would be getting and told us that we were scheduled for a few excursions and a honeymoon package from the hotel. Our travel agent never gave the airlines our passport information, so we had to call the airlines and give them the information ourselves. We were told that there would be a private room for our resort at the airport, but it was just someone sitting at a Margaritaville restaurant at the airport. When we got to the hotel, we wanted to check when all of our excursions and experiences were booked, and the hotel had no record of being in contact with the travel agent, so we had to book everything ourselves. I would not recommend going to this travel agent, find one that actually does what they say they are going to do. It would have been less stressful if we booked everything ourselves.

I travel a lot for business and The Travel Junkie has been a great tool for me. Most often I have little notice before travel and usually am so busy tying up loose ends at home that I really don't have time to research the best deals or the closest hotels that have the amenities I am looking for. And they are so great of affording me the luxury of extending my stays at the last minute when I realize I most need it. When I get busy, I get busy and don't have the time to get away from my customers to do this for myself. A quick text or email and in no time I get a confirmation. Once you are in their files, they are always at the ready. I have never been delayed or let down with my Travel Ninja, Lori Stone. Given that I can always trust I will be taken care of on business travels, I will be sure to use them for all of my personal travels as well!
