The Twilight river ride was fantastic. Food was excellent, and plenty of it. The staff was exceptional, and very accommodating. It was so relaxing to sit in the rocking chairs on deck. Added bonus....the captains knowledge of the river, and his ability to share with the guest. Highly recommend this cruise.

My husband and I went on the 90min ride and had a peaceful relaxing experience. Exactly what we needed. I'm in a wheelchair, I'm able to walk and stand some but I need a chair for distance. But for the most part I was able to do and go where I wanted or needed. I did need to stand to step onto the boat and i chose to walk into the bathroom (small space).We stayed on lower deck simply because I didn't want to attempt the steps but I enjoyed a nice calm fun safe trip. Beautiful weather and wonderful crew made it a truly enjoyable experience and we plan on returning in the fall for hopefully a colorful experience when the leaves are changing I'm sure it will be gorgeous. Oh also they make a strong daquri if your into that or a nice cold glass of lemonade. Definitely worth the 2hr car ride to get there and the $20 for the admission. My husband and I are recommending it to all our family and friends.

Although the weekend was a hot one for June, the 1-1/2 hour cruise was thoroughly enjoyable! The crew, the ship, and the amenities were exceptional. The return down river was too short with a nice breeze cooling the number 2 front deck I would recommend this excursion to anyone and we will be back soon!!!

My husband and I went on the 2 day cruise and this far exceeded our expectations. The boat was beautiful, the staff was extremely accommodating and the views and narration by the captain was amazing. The snacks and meals were very good and plentiful. We felt that the all inclusive was well worth what we received in return. LaClaire Iowa is a quaint town and we were very impressed with the options available in Dubuque. We will highly recommend this trip to family and friends. Great time! Beautiful trip!

So many great things to say about the one day and two day cruises. Get ready to eat! It's like a never ending meal. They bring out snacks and warm cookies in between meals. And don't forget ice cream! The captain has lots of narration along the trip. Captain Stier's narration has so much life like it's the first time he ever said. Captain Store has been doing this same cruise for 30 years. You will see beautiful bluffs, eagles and possibly even see Stephen Seagull (the bird of course). The day we were on the boat a nice young lady was throwing bread to the birds and she got one to eat from her hand. This a great trip for young and old.

My husband and I went on the day cruise from Dubuque to Guttenberg. We had a great time! I would highly recommend it. Everyone was friendly and helpful. The food was delicious. We went through a lock, saw eagles, and their nests. Breakfast was ready as soon as we got on the boat and it was great! The boat was sold out, but never felt crowded. I am handicapped and use a walker, the only difficult thing was the ramp going down to the boat. Actually, going up was the problem. Just a little difficult for me, but I made it. I had no problem on the boat though. I hope to do it again sometime! Thank you captain and crew for a wonderful time!

It was a great trip, nice enjoyable ride. Comfortable seats the few was great ...but the leaves turned late this year. However everyone said the trip was worth while. Super bloody Mary's ....$8.00...a bit much I thought.

A "modern" steamboat from 1980s, complete with air conditioning, lemonade, and a small bar. Lovely for a short ride, up the river with beautiful views of the original river towns - Le Claire, Port Byron, and Princeton, Iowa.

Nice, relaxing river cruise. Food was OK and plenty of it. Staff was excellent. Wish there was a room upgrade option on the overnight trip. 2 double beds does not work for us...and the hotel was so, so...old beds no plugs. Overall price of $400 per person for 2 days was a little high....overall 4 stars.

This boat comes down the Mississippi River in Clinton, Iowa every few days. I’ve been a passenger in my stepdad’s pontoon boat, and we’re not thrilled at how many waves you kick out! A huge wave came at our pontoon boat sinking the front end of our pontoon, and there was a lot of water let in on the pontoon boat carpet. We will be calling the Iowa DNR, and reporting your absolute disrespect for other boaters. Drive slower!!

Would definitely recommend this trip. The captain is incredibly well versed in the history of the river. We were a bit surprised at how long the trip upriver was but the river was pretty high when we went. If you're a history buff at all then add this to your list.

If anyone has ever considered a Mississippi river cruise, I strongly recommend the Riverboat Twilight. I took my mom on the Captain's dinner cruise for her 75th birthday celebration. It was an amazing time with a terrific staff. Mom has difficulty managing stairs and I let them know that ahead of time. We were provided main level seating as requested without any issues. The food was terrific. Drinks were reasonably priced and delicious. The staff seemed to enjoy their jobs. It really showed and, as a result, the passengers all seemed to have an enjoyable experience.

The riverboat twilight is an awesome and beautiful vessel. We may have been the youngest couple on the boat by 40 years but that was part of the fun. We got meet a lot of people, play games and listen to stories. From beginning to the end of our two day trip to Dubuque and back was awesome. My wife and I had it absolute blast, the food was delicious and the hotel arrangements were great. I will be riding again. Great trip, great staff and captain.
