COACH USA IS A GOD SEND! IT'S THE FASTEST, SAFEST, HASSLE-FREE WAY TO MIDWAY AND O'HARE AIRPORTS! THE ONLY QUALM I HAVE IS THE LOCATION OF THE DEPOT! WHEN YOU EXIT TRYING TO CROSS INDPLS. BLVD. GOING NORTH IS DANGEROUS...ALL THE TRAFFIC COMING FROM THE OVERPASS IS FRIGHTENING! Quite terrible to pay that much money and receive that kind of service. The old lady at the Highland, IN depot is rude. I simply asked if the next bus was expected to arrive on time and she got very defensive and spoke as if every bus is always on time. I had dealt with a delay in the past and she assured me that new management has been put in place and now there are no delays anymore. But wouldn't you know it, my bus was over 20 minutes late, and when I asked the lady "so it IS late today?" she rudely retorted that the posted time schedule is only an estimate, good grief

Interesting ride. Thrilled when the driver pulled out in front of a car when we were leaving a parking lot. First class customer service when a rider, who had legitimately purchased a ticket but was having trouble displaying it in the app was told that she had a short time to figure things out or she was going to have to get off the bus. Way to assume the customer is trying to pull something over on you. Won't be riding this bus for some time.

For one the lady at the counter was VERY unpleasant. Maybe cuz it was 4am..whatever I get it. Anyways rideto O'Hare was carefree and easy.... HOWEVER the trip back from O'Hare was a nightmare. They were hour and half late... The bus had to turn around to pick up people that were supposedly "left"... We were already 15mins from O'Hare when we HAD to turn around. The driver was apologetic and nice about it, but The hour and half it shoulda taken to get back to Highland took almost 5 hours all together. Was supposed to be at work that night at 6...didnt get there till 9. Very disappointing but it's cheaper than Uber/Lyft and more convenient than asking friends or family to take you to or from airport. Maybe it was just a one time thing but it makes me weary of choosing this option again.

What an absolute TRASH company!!! The only reason they get a 1 star is because that's the minimum! They picked us up at Midway, took us to the Highland station, and then apparently they had mechanical issues with the bus going to South Bend. So what was their solution to get us to South Bend, they had 2. The first, they had an uber driver at the station ready to charge the 2 of us going to South Bend $197! The other option was basically "good luck"! They would give us a partial refund and then we had to find our own way to South Bend, at 12:30 in the morning!!! And to top it all off, their customer service center was hostile from the very beginning of the call when I called to figure out my options. Absolutely PATHETIC!!!!

Nice buses & drivers. Very clean buses. Easy way to get to or from O'Hara Airport to Portage. They also go to Midway. Very inexpensive. So of their pick up times are different then their schedule or website says so check with their office before you want to leave for the airports!

My two children and I took the shuttle from Michigan City to O'Hare after visiting my brother in South Bend. After taking an early shuttle and the stress of travelling with children, I managed to leave a bag on the bus. I called about 15 minutes after being dropped off and made contact with dispatch. It was too late for the bus to come back around. After working with dispatch and Nancy and Sandy at the Highland Terminal, they got the bag on a bus to South Bend where my brother could pick it up. Everyone I talked to in the process of trying to recover my bag was very professional and kind. Thank you, SuperSaver for helping get my bag back to me. I would definitely consider using SuperSaver the next time I am travelling to South Bend.

I would rate a 0 if i could. Been riding them for 3 years, no issues until recently. In the last 3 weeks, 2 trips the bus didn't show up. 1 we got to Highland and the driver didn't show up. I was told customer is responsible to look at website to see if they were actually running the bus, but that won't catch every problem so customer should add more time in case the bus breaks down or drivers no show. And don't call and let them know about poor service, because customer service is worthless. After all the excuses, I think it will be your fault the bus didn't run.

I wont even give them one star my son was home for a short visit from out of state and he bought his ticket for the new bus stop close to us then once he was at the airport he found out that stop was discontinued, so I had to go out of my way to pick him up at the other place. When he was leaving we went to the place I picked him up at we were early then 210 came and no bus we finally found out the bus was canceled. So we were told to go to another stop ,on our way my son called and we were about 15 min away and we weren't going to make it to Portage so we asked them to please wait about 5 min only to find out no bus was going there either. We were told to go to highland , I am scared to death to drive on 94 .but I had no other choice. I was in tears sick to my stomach .in that traffic. We were told to call when we were close... well they didn't answer , but we made it in time . While my son stood with everyone waiting he asked if the bus to midway was there yet they said no so he stood there and waited and waited and waited finally the bus driver yelled last call to Midway so then my son was frantically trying to grab all of his stuff and get it all loaded this was such a terrible experience no where online when I Googled the schedule did it say any buses were cancelled. This may be our last time after years of using them. I was on the road today 3. 1/2 hours when it should have only been 40 min . Now it wont let me post without clicking a star I will choose a one but not by choice.

It used to be a service you could count on. Going to airport...bus was 40 min late. Returning, no bus showed up at crestwood location, bus driver from 1 to drop off was throwing a fit and complaining to customers. 3 hours later a bus finally showed up to take us to final destination. Such a shame to see a once reliable service go down the toilet.

Bus from Midway and then the one we had to transfer to in Highland to continue on to South Bend and Notre Dame ran late. The one leaving Highland for South Bend was about 50 mins late. So not too dependable.

Coach USA left us stranded at Midway Airport after our trip to Portland Oregon. The bus schedule was not accurate and we were told that the next bus might be in a hour but might be a few hours. After my experience with Coach USA I will find another way to travel to the airport. I have spent my last dollar with this company.

This business should not be in business. There is not a chain of command nor anyone available who is able to take responsibility for the lack of communication with customers, poor service, and overall complete dissatisfaction. I will not use this company again for transport. The driver who finally arrived to take me to my destination was not a liar (that I am aware of) and did not pass blame from one thing to another like every previous employee I encountered. He did make sure the passengers were comfortable in the cabin by asking about temperature.

Apparently this has been bought out by someone else and our experience was TERRIBLE. The schedules were off, no one could tell anyone what buses were going where, there were many cancellations posted only on doors of stops so the next bus may not come get you... The people were rude, and passengers rude, talking loudly on phones. And I'm pretty sure I've gotten whip lash from the driver on the way home from on and off the gas pedal in rapid succession the whole way back. I will never travel this service again. South shore from now on!

Easy way to get from O'Hare airport to University of Notre Dame but pricier than the train. Makes a few stops along the way. We chose it because we could get to Notre Dame earlier than the train. Staff at the desk not overly friendly, but the drivers were nice.

The y cancelled every other bus schedule for today and I might miss my flight and they blame it on the weather. That's BS the 7:20 bus mad it to the airport and they cancelled the 8:20 bus which would have gotten me to the airport 1 1/2 hours early for my flight and now I'm on the 9:20 bus which didn't leave until 9:40 and I'm praying I get there in time. The Freeway is all clear and it's not snowing. My daughter is in the hospital with the flu and pneumonia and she is in ICU in Memphis TN and Coach USA don't care about the problems they have caused. Why is every other bus schedule is cancelled for the rest of today?

We read the negative reviews on Yelp and were concerned with the number of cancellations. The reviews here seemed more positive. We called the station the night before and were told how to buy the ticket and when to arrive. We arrived this morning to find they did not have a driver for the 5:30am bus to Midway. Lesson: Use Uber if you need to be at the airport. Do not rely on this transportation company.

Pros: economical, nice coaches and friendly drivers. Cons: If you’re coming from or going to Valpo, expect a very long trip, which includes a bus transfer at Highland. Timing of schedule may have you waiting a while at O’Hare. Probably won’t use again, but it may be more practical for folks who live close to the Highland stop.

I have used Coach USA (formerly United Limo) for many years, and it used to be reliable. Recently, I had several highly frustrating and unpleasant experiences with cancelled buses. There is no way to see the status of buses on-line, and "customer service" is worthless. I will never use this "bus service" again!

My Mother has been waiting since 640am for and it is now 815am and the Coach from ORD to Indiana is just now arriving. My mother has medical conditions and upon talking to them multiple times not only by myself but other passengers have called and we have been getting the run around. If i would have known this would happen I would have made other arrangements. I will NEVER take this public transportation again. I wouldn't even suggest my Worst enemy take this route. The bus has just arrived and is just now in motion. Worse service I have ever received from a company. If i was able to give - negative stars I would do so but, unfortunately I only have the option of 1 star being the least.

Trip back terrible,!! 2 hours wait at the Hammond station due to a driver not bothering to show up to work. Finally another bus arrives to take us to the last stops. Website is stupid... Traveled from Mid Way airport only to arrive at the Highland station and told I had to wait one hour for another bus to take me to the Michigan City station. That's unacceptable. The road conditions are great and no inclement weather. This is not convenient people might as well just drive there own vehicles.

This organization (disorganization) is a mess. Dirty busses that don't seem to have been cleaned in a decade during their last mechanical overhaul is a wreck waiting to happen. Can't keep on schedule. Constant cancellations, which isn't a really big issue for people going to the AIRPORT!!! Pay a small amount more and take an Uber or Lyft,, you're more likely to get there on time.

Terrible experience with bus not showing up in time several times. Latest one this morning on 6th July 2018.Arrived in a red eye flight from Canada in Terminal 5 at O’Hare. Suppose to catch CoachUSA Supersaver to South Bend. Schedule pickup was 6:50am at 7:45 am still no sign of the shuttle. Called their Highland office no one could give info as to where the shuttle is or when is the time of arrival. Very disappointing and unprofessional service, not sure it can be relied to catch planes at O’Hare with such erratic schedules. Will look for better alternative next time. After waiting for 2hrs we were lied to by the customer service that the shuttle was here at scheduled time 6:50 am when we can vouch for the fact that it didn’t, since we’ve been waiting for the shuttle since 6:30am this morning ! This is totally unacceptable and I hope the governing authorities of the Company look into this if they really want to stay in business!!

Some of the drivers have some bad habits/characteristics, some of the drivers yell to the passengers asking about destinations, when they should just drive the whole route, also, they honk at people for the wrong reasons, waking everyone up. They should honk for accident avoidance, not because someone's not going fast enough. Their refund policy leaves much to be desired, where if you pay cash but find a ticket you had misplaced and have it scanned, they can't just give the cash back, but need a form filled out and future correspondence. I saw a guy in front of me loading his own bag onto the bus, so I loaded my bag on myself, and was rudely scolded by the driver for doing it myself.(probably for safety, which I understand) But they missed the other guy doing it.

A friend and I were traveling to Notre Dame from Midway Airport. We were told that this service was reliable and affordable. After picking up the bus at Midway, we were unexpectedly dropped off at the transfer location/stop (Highland, I believe) and were told the bus we were transfering to was waiting for us, so the move would be immediate. Nowhere on the SuperSaver website does it say there is any layover/transfer at this stop. Much to our surprise, the bus was not there, and the dispatcher told us that it would be coming in five minutes. Then two hours passed, with the dispatcher continually telling us that the bus was on its way and it would be here in the next five minutes. And the bus still had not come after two hours of waiting. We ended up calling a cab with the bus nowhere in sight. I would not recommend this means of transportation between Midway Airport (where we picked up the bus from) to Notre Dame (or South Bend airport, which was where other people on our bus were heading towards).

The 6:20 bus was cancelled when I arrived at 5:50. Purchased my ticket to leave on the 7:20. I knew that 294 was torn up, it was rush hour and it was Friday! I called the 800 number and spoke with a gentleman explaining my situation of those and others who were expecting a bus. About 7 minutes later, this wonderful lady named Nancy who works in the ticket counter came out and said we would have a bus in 5 minutes. Thank u for your prompt response to what could have been a real problem catching our flights.

A fun, old-time station feel. The attendant is very personable. There is a fun, historic looking scale and height ruler near the bathrooms, TV to watch, and vending machine to entertain while you wait. All the passengers we encountered were unique and friendly.

First time taking the bus from Ohare to South Bend. Everything was going fine until they decided to stop in Highland IN to fill up on gas. Why didnt they fill up before the trip? Is this normal? We wasted 30+ min making this stop. Take the train - more reliable. Update - I took the return bus back to Ohare and the relief bus driver didn't show up.

I used to highly recommend this service, my spouse, mother-in-law and myself have used it many times over the last ten years for trips to/from the airport since my MIL is in Europe. However, in August she came to visit and they had a terrible time when trying to get back from Chicago to South Bend, first, the bus they wanted to take never arrived to O'Hare, and they and other customers were left waiting hours for hopefully the next bus, until finally airport staff came and shuttled them to another area to wait for a different bus, they finally get on another bus but after boarding were told that once they reached Highland it *might* be another 2hr wait because they didn't know if the bus that was supposed to meet them there for the 2nd half of their trip would come. So after they get close to Highland they found out that yes, they'd be waiting another two hours for a ride that would last another hour. I was home from work by then so drove an hour out to Highland to get them and the hour back so at least they'd be at our house an hour earlier than waiting for a bus that, at that point I wasn't even confident was going to come. And of course there's no refunds or any offer of recompense for all of these delays, they should have been home at a reasonable hour but instead it was more like 1am with me having driven them half the way! If I had had a bigger car I would have asked if anyone else wanted a ride back, I felt terrible for all of those people waiting! For her trip back to Chicago/O'Hare to go home they took the SouthShore train and Metra blue line. Such a shame since we opted to pay the extra money to ride the bus that takes you straight to O'Hare for convenience before, now I don't feel I can trust them and from other recent reviews I have read it looks like they are still having problems. Also they had been advertising new hourly rides to Chicago from certain stops at the time, what a joke! They couldn't even keep up with their every 2 hours schedule!! Very disappointed.

Bus driver not good communicator. He would enjoy his job more if he would smile and say hello at the least We were not warned that we were going to be dropped off before our stop so they could cater to college students. Travelers had to wait 45 min. for the next bus to take them to their destination. Communication barrier along the way.

A Horrible experience, we've been riding since 3:40, it's 7pm, and we're still not in South bend! I realize the Rush hour, but the first bus scheduled for 1:15 was cancelled! Damn!

Last 5 years I had no complaints. Today a bus having maintance issues took about 55 min. I think a backup plan with viable alternatives. A shuttle van , another bus redirected or combine. A back up bus. With a good maintenance plan. All better options.

this bus service was awful, on the way to midway we ended up at ohare airport instead of midway. there were 7 of us that were surprised to be at the wrong airport even though we bought tickets to midway. the bus driver kicked us off told us it was announced to transfer at highland. if it was just me ok I missed the announcement but there were 7 of us. on the way back home after my trip multiple busses were canceled and they were just randomly running busses. the bus I was supposed to take was scheduled to leave the airport at 315pm it never showed. I called found out they canceled several busses today. I requested a refuned so I could make alternate travel plans. the person on the phone told me i would have to call back monday, when pressed he admited that no i would not get a refuned because if I just sit here a couple of hours a bus will eventually show up. finally got a bus at 530pm (it was late). rode to highland got off the bus to transfer, the transfer bus was 30 mins late. when a bus arrived that I was sure it was going to south bend the staff repeatedly said no but then changed their minds. they then announced we would be sitting here until another bus arrived in a half hour to take those people also. that makes this bus I am on over an hour late before we even leave. I would avoid this bus like the plague. I traveled round trip from south bend to new york and taking this bus was the worst part of my trip.

At the highland Indiana location they are a bit unorganized with their bus schedules and are commonly late & even canceled a critical bus scheduled going to midway airport which should never happpen. We had to get a Uber to make our flight in time !

Pick up was pretty easy in the bus area outside of Midway airport Chicago. Price was excellent to get from there directly onto Notre Dame campus on football game night 730 pm game. Changing buses in Hammond IN was like step back into 60s. People were nice enough. It would be awesome if they had a direct ND to CHI Midway bus without the stops in between.

Riders beware, numerous scheduled bus runs are being cancelled daily. After finally contacting a live person, hard thing to do after the 9-5 or weekends, was told drivers call off and scheduled day runs get cancelled at last minute. Stated to call them to verify that days working schedule. Hard thing to do at the last minute while traveling. I thank the lady that called for us all while awaiting the "ghost '' bus and the guy that drove us all to the airport on Saturday at the last minute so not to miss our SCHEDULED flights. I found on my return the following Saturday, they cancelled return runs till 915 pm from O'Hare when I landed around 2pm. Stuck again..thanks Coach USA for being so UNRELIABLE lately. Riders beware..... I gave one star so it would get posted..

Terrible! Hour late. Driver from Midway was worthless. We had to unload bags ourselves. He gave no info to passengers. Very slow in getting tix done. Thank goodness we got another driver @ Highland. She was great & tried to make up time.

Our bus was cancelled, we almost missed our flight. Should have been a supervisor on duty to assist the poor Lady at the desk to accommodate customer who already paid or their bus ticket...mismanaged and no courtesy at all

Absolute worst experience ever. You are better off renting a car from Midway & driving it wherever you need. The bus was an hour late & nobody seemed to know what was going on. They have radios that they must not use because nobody could tell me how long I will have to be waiting. This is the LAST time I will ever take this bus to South bend.
