My sister "won" a vacation from a radio station recently that is being booked thru Apple. She was told that it is mandatory to purchase the travel insurance for this trip. She reviewed the terms provided to get and it clearly states that you are not required to purchase the travel insurance. She brought this to their attention and the reply she got was that she still had to purchase the travel insurance !! After the fees and taxes for this trip and now the cost of the travel insurance she is being forced to purchase it is costing jet more for this "free" trip than if she would have booked it on her own ! I have never traveled thru Apple and after this I NEVER PLAN TOO !!!! Based on the other reviews I have read I advise any one AGAINST using Apple for any future travels !!!!

BEWARE OF "EXCLUSIVE VACATION FLIGHTS"!! Regardless of the Airline listed, these are actually operated by Apple Vacations, and the airline listed has no information. Even Apple can not help you. There is no way to check flight status, check in or print a boarding pass. You just show up at the airport and hope for the best. You will save a little money choosing these flights ($20-$70), but you will pay for it in fees. Very seriously, there is actually a fee to have a seat. Any seat! Does your ticket price cover this? No! Even for a middle seat next to the bathroom... $11 fee. It goes up if you want a window seat or an exit-row seat. This fee is added to the price you are shown for your flight or package. There is also no baggage allowance. $50 per bag, per person. When paying thousands of dollars for a trip, pay the extra few dollars for a flight with a real airline, so that someone is accountable and you have access to basic info, such as flight status. These "Exclusive Vacation Flights" are NOT operated by the airlines listed. Apple simply rents the plane from those airlines. The flight crew is not the listed airline either. Who are the pilots? Apple Vacation employees? No way of knowing. The airline listed will have no information on the flight. Beware! Again... Pay the few extra dollars and choose a flight operated by the listed airline. Or, book your vacation package with one of the airlines, or directly through the resort/hotel. Most of them offer similar packages with the actual airlines operating the planes.

We purchased a vacation to Punta Cana from them and it was full of bad surprises starting with the flight delayed in O'Hare for almost 12 hours and room in the Hotel terrible Oh my god it was the worst vacation ever and after we returned we contacted apple vacation and their answer is that they don`t own flight carrier and they don`t own the hotel as well and what they can do probably to give us a voucher for 100$ for the next vacation with them what a joke!!!Stay away from them.

Terrible terrible terrible. Will never use Apple Vacations again. They screwed up on my reservations and its been 2 months and I am still waiting for them to fix it. Called 15 times. 10 emails and nothing. Also hold time is up to 4 hours!!! Do not book with them!!!!

DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THE PEOPLE IN THE BLUE SHIRTS. THEY WILL SCAM YOU. AND NEVER TRAVEL WITH APPLE. I used Apple Vacation to book this trip and it was a huge mistake. Our flight was cancelled in Mexico City (not Apples fault) and this caused us to reach Cancun late. We called Appel and they gave us two choices. 1. Wait in front of the airport for one and a half hours. 2. Get a taxi and be reimbursed the next day. It being so late, and with my family with me, option two was my only option. Needless to say we were not reimbursed and we're told we were scammed. I know this not to be true because the only information given to the person on the phone was my Appel reservation number and they had my entire information. Unless the scammer had access to Apples computer system there is no way they could have that data. The only people who scammed us is Apple. When I called to complain they hung up on me. I am customer service manager for a medium sized company so I know how to talk to people, and this was not an appropriate response from Apple. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THE PEOPLE IN THE BLUE SHIRTS. THEY WILL SCAM YOU. ALSO NEVER TRAVEL WITH APPLE If it was just the resort I would probably rate it higher. But I bought this package and I hold the resort responsible for it's vendors.

Apple Vacations does not give you what they promise, in fact they take your money, time and vacation days to get what you were promised in the first place. Read all the reviews, Google Apple rip off! I cant beleive they get away with this, I would never travel with them and am still waiting to hear anything back from their very concerned customer service as their marketing material says, I am reporting them to the Better Business Bureau, please help me and do so as well if they have taken advantage of you, take your money and vacation time, we work all year for, they don't care, so looks like we are going to have to rally to get someone to listen to us. report them to the BBB!

Don't waste your money doing business with them. They sold me a room witch was not an option when we arrived in the Bahamas. Even they send me an email with screenshots from they website that proof my case and still there was a 0 support when I called the hotline or when I reached over the email.

I would give this travel agency 0 stars if that was an option. We booked a vacation with airfare far in advance to get a better price, and they just called to tell me the airline changed our return flight and the only option would be to cancel my entire vacation for a refund. Now we are 90 days out and cannot find anything with a comparable price. The person that I spoke to was very rude and would not work with me at all. She only offered a refund and to top it off she told me it would take 14 days to process. I will never book another vacation with Apple. Thank you for ruining something that we were so looking forward to.

To whom it may concern! Which I hope is someone. I wanted to share my experience with Apple Vacations website and customer service. After looking on the main page of your website, I noticed a kids stay and eat free promo. So excited! But unfortunately when clicking on the particular resort which was Cancun Beach Place (all-Inclusive) kids and teens ages 4-17 stay free! Nothing happens and no other information is given, no where to put in your dates, no where to see additional information. So I decided to call and to my disbelief your own customer service representatives had no clue what I was even talking about. I had to walk them through exactly what I did on your website - shame! After all of that the first representative said that kids are not exactly free. What does that even mean? What does free mean to Apple? I spent 30 min with the first representative and did not get any questions answered reasonably. Then I called back one more time. I spoke to another representative who was nice and more knowledgeable but still unable to answer questions about the kids stay free promotion. I then asked to speak to a higher ranking rep and was connected to Ruth after 1 hour on hold. She was also unable to answer any questions and was very rude. As a customer trying to book a trip for 9 people, I am disappointed in the way Apple falsely advertises promotions that are either not available or that no one from Apple has any knowledge of. You can listen to the customer service recordings from March 8 around 3:00 central time and hear what I was told. Thank you for your time. I will post my concerns on google reviews as well.
