We rented Ocean Air in October 2017 and could not have been happier. We loved the location, we were only a 5 minute walk to the beach! The house was bright and beautiful with plenty of room for our party of 8. We hope to rent again this fall and were very pleased with how easy the rental process was with Southern Belle Tybee Vacation Rentals.

This was my first experience with Southern Belle Tybee Vacation Rentals. The Customer Service Representatives I dealt with were friendly and helpful. My family loved the vacation home we stayed in on Tybee Island. The house was so clean and beautiful, just like the pictures. Our vacation home was a few steps from the beach, which was perfect. We also had everything we needed while staying in the home. I would definitely recommend Southern Belle Tybee Vacation Rentals to anyone looking for a nice home to stay in. I will be using them again!

My husband and I visited Tybee Island for the 1st time 2 weeks ago. We booked our vacation rental on the website after making 2 calls to be sure we would have a nice place to stay on our vacation with a great ocean view. We were assured our rental had a fantastic view of the ocean. Our view was mostly of a beautiful large beach house across the street. We could see a small part of the ocean if we stood in the right place. Our biggest problem was bugs! We had several bugs landing on us our first night while we were trying to sleep. There were also lots of ants in the kitchen and bathroom. We called the rental office the next morning and requested to move to another location. Our rental was a house that had been renovated to 3 units They offered to move us to the unit on the ground floor. I said no as there were probably bugs there as well and wanted to move to another location. The manager sent word through one if the employees that we absolutely could NOT move to a separate location. They sent someone to spray for bugs and left he container there for us to use again if needed. This is not exactly what we had in mind to do on vacation. Fortunately the weather was beautiful and we spent most of our time away from the unit. I even packed my lunch and ate on the beach. We dined our every evening as I felt the dishes and appliances were dirty from all of the bugs. We used the bug spray in the evenings and swept up the dead bugs every morning. We love Tybee Island and Savannah. Would like to visit again sometime but definetly would book through another rental agency.

My husband, cousin and I visited a great condo 3 bedroom 2 bath with balcany views in May 2018. The Southern Belle property was immaculate and comfortable. The beds, linens and showers were all great. Proximity to the beach and nightlife great! The kitchen was well stocked and overall great value. The only feedback would be a new sofa is in order. We loved this Seaside Escape.

My family came to Savannah for Easter this year, and we stayed at this adorable beach house on Tybee Island. The property had a really nice screened in back porch, which was perfect for eating dinner and playing cards, and it was clean and nicely decorated. I would rent this place again because of its proximity to the beach--it was less than a 10 minute walk to get there. We booked through Tybee Vacation Rentals online, and they were great to work with. The check-in/check-out processes were really simple (just make sure you watch the video prior to your arrival), and I had someone call me on the first full day of my stay to make sure that everything was going well and to see if we needed anything. I absolutely would recommend this place to a friend!

Southern Belle was kind and accommodating from the day we first asked questions through our booking, payments and finally our vacation week. The actual rental itself gets 5 stars for location and cleanliness. unfortunately the property management company, southern belle vacation rentals gets 1 Star. Also please note that they do not have an option for verified guests who book through their website to leave reviews on their website- so the reviews posted on their website can not be trusted (and that's why you do not see any negative comments on their website review system) Southern belle sends an automatic survey at the end of your stay and asks you to "review your stay", however they only publish positive comments to their website. This would have been a 5 star review had it not been for management sending FOUR different maintenance crews out to the property without notifying us on three different days of our stay, all while we were in the home. The first time there were two lawn care folks who showed up at 9:30 am outside of the picture windows in the back of the home and started weedwacking and mowing while we were having our breakfast. The second time I was naked just out of the shower and a young man was walking right past the large wall of windows in the back of the home again (the windows with no curtains). He was there to clean out the maggot infested trash cans we had requested to be cleaned 3 days prior. We chose this house at over $400 a night because of the privacy- it faces the marsh with no other houses in view. If this was the only incident I wouldn't have been so upset. We called southern belle and explained what had happened and the woman on the phone claimed she had told me he was going to come that morning. No comment about the lawn care crew. She promised no one else was going to come to the home. Literally 20 minutes later TWO more people show up with hoses and they are spraying the lawn in the back of the house. We thought this was especially strange since there are sprinklers on timers so my fiancé went outside as they were leaving and asked what they had sprayed. The man explained they were spraying round up on the lawn for bugs. What?! A neurotoxin- my fiancé asked if it was safe to walk on and the man said "no, you should wait a few hours before walking on the lawn in bare feet" ....seriously? So if we had not been home we would have been walking in bare feet on the lawn sprayed with dangerous insecticides? Sooo I called southern belle again and was promised that a manager was going to call us back. The call never came. I emailed a few days later. No call and no email back. The 4th random person arrived in the morning when we were sleeping and locked the gate going out to the dock. Creepy because we were sleeping in bed and whomever could look right through the windows at us. We spent a fortune on this home specifically because it was the most private home on the island. The unwanted visitors invading our privacy really soured our stay. We manage a dozen vacation rentals for a living and would never dream of sending over maintenance crews without warning. Another thing to note is how misleading their listing was for the home - there was also a garage beside this home that had been converted into a 2 person rental that is not mentioned in the listing for cupps castle. The rental is called cupps carriage house and it shares the backyard of cupps castle and the dock (both are featured in the photos for the garage rental). Luckily the garage was not rented during our stay or we would have been even more upset. Do not rent a home from southern belle vacation rentals- you'd be better off renting directly with an owner to avoid having a similar experience. Read the other reviews- we wish we had.

We stayed at the fabulous Queen Bee. Love this place, a 2 minute walk to the beach, a 5 second walk to the private pool. The elevator makes schlepping groceries and beer from the garage to the kitchen a snap and the wet bar with full size fridge on the ground floor living room saves a lot of steps for another beer. The housekeepers had this place spotless. The view from the master suite provides a look at the ocean with a view of the huge cargo ships coming and going. Our extended family loved it with room for the kids on the first floor with their own TV.

Enjoyed my stay here for our anniversary. Quiet, clean, spacious and close to the beach. Would return again on another occasion. Priced well for the area. The couch could use an upgrade and the bedroom could use black out curtains because of the proximity to the street light. Overall nice, cozy spot!

My family has been going to Tybee for decades now and we have stayed at the same location each year until this year when the property took new ownership. Luckily, Southern Belle Tybee Vacation Rentals found us a perfect location! Ironically, it's almost right next door! We booked a place in the fall of 2017, but when winter hit, nature happened and Southern Belle was amazing at finding us another place and letting us know before we even left for Tybee! They were great at communicating with us. I would highly recommend booking through them because some of their locations are not listed consistently on Airbnb or VRBO.

They have both Savannah vacation rentals and Tybee vacation rentals. Both homes I stayed in were exceptionally clean and well stocked. The furniture is very modern and classy. I recommend this to friends looking to stay in Savannah or Tybee Island. Staff are courteous and accommodating. Please don't trust negative reviews. These people just want you to have a great stay. Read your rental agreement. See the sights, have a great stay, and respect customer service employees.

My husband and I rented a house on the beach of Tybee Island through Southern Belle. There were 6 of us and the accommodations were great. Plenty of space for all of us. It was great for the kids to be close to the beach. We used the chairs and such. We all had a great time.

We loved our stay at this property for the week of July 4th! We were able to watch the July 4th fireworks show from the balcony, which was nice to avoid the crowd on the beach. We have been to Tybee Island for the last 3 years and have used Southern Belle Vacation Rentals for 2 years. Their rentals are always exactly as they appear on line. The condo was perfect for our family with children. We were missing our parking pass when we arrived and I called Raegan. Within an hour Nick was at our condo with the pass and a smile on his face, very friendly. There were repair men on site during our stay and had to enter our condo. They were very accommodating with our schedule and were in and out quickly. We have stayed at The Desoto the past two years and could not be happier with the Southern Belle staff. I would highly recommend them to anyone traveling to Tybee Island.

My family and I stayed at Dolphin Dance last year in Tybee Island. The house was beautiful, roomy, clean and functional. Our party had 5 adults and 3 children, yet we were not crowded. We could have brought 3 additional people comfortably. The location was easy to find, but very private and quiet. The walkway access to the beach was a nice touch. I will definitely consider another Tybee vacation rental for this summer vacation.

We were thrilled with the service we received from Southern Belle Tybee Vacation Rentals. The home we stayed in was absolutely beautiful and the perfect venue for our extended family spring break gathering. When we arrived, we were concerned that the home was not on the beach like the description said, but after expressing this concern, they immediately changed the description online (which was an oversight) and gave us a refund for a portion of our trip, which was more than fair. It is so nice to work with a company who stands behind their word. I will definitely be using them for my future trips to Tybee Island and Savannah.

Our stay @ Green Heron on Tybee Island was the perfect spot to be out of the fray of the Savannah Music Festival, but close enough to enjoy all of the great events we attended. The location was perfect for a relaxing beach stay: one block from the beach; across the street from the walking/bike path and the YMCA. The condo was bright and welcoming and had all the necessary amenities for us to feel like we were at home away from home. The staff @ Southern Belle were courteous, friendly and very helpful. This is our second booking with Southern Belle and we intend to use them each time we are in the Savannah/Tybee Island area.

We arrived for spring break w/2 teenagers. The house was VERY clean and directions for using the lockbox easy to understand. We appreciated the quiet cul de sac, neighbors stayed to themselves. We did visit with one neighbor who recommended a local restaurant. The house is 2-story with bedrooms and a bath upstairs and another bath downstairs. Beds were comfortable, rooms w/TV. We had everything we needed including cute and complimentary little bath soaps. The kitchen was great with everything we needed to make a few meals. Even though the house wasn't on the beach there's a walking route you can use that's about a 5-10 minute walk. That was great to have! No complaints and we would use the rentals again.

We had a good experience booking our condo through Southern Belle Tybee Vacation Rentals. The condo was exactly as described, and picking up/dropping off the keys in Savannah was very simple. Since it was our first time staying on Tybee, I had several questions leading up to our trip and made several calls to Southern Belle. Each time I called, I spoke with someone who was very courteous and helpful. When we arrived at the condo, we thought the refrigerator was not working (turns out it was just unplugged), and when I called Southern Belle, they planned to immediately send out someone to help us. We spent Thanksgiving week at Southern Belle Tybee’s Dolphin Dance House & it was awesome in every way. We met our grown children & their families there - couldn’t have made a better choice for a family vacation! The kitchen was huge, so allowed all us women (& often the guys too) to get together & make some memorable meals. The house, & its location, had something for everyone. It was close to the beach, had plenty of room to spread out, & had every amenity we wanted. The beds were super comfortable (which is a big deal when you’re staying for a week!), the furnishings were beautiful...... I just can’t say enough good things about this place. We’d rent it again in a flash!!

Stayed at 4a 9th 17th place Had issues from the beginning Tv didn't work, they sent a tech from xfinity to work on it, he said it wasn't the right equipment for the unit. Blake from southern bell came out with a chip on his shoulder, acting like it was something we had done. Jesse from xfinity got it working. Also let southern bell know about the dishwasher falling out of the cabinet when opened and the microwave having rust inside of it. Fast forward to Tuesday when the tv and internet stopped working Called in and talked to Patrick let him know about the tv, also reminded him of the dishwasher and microwave problems. They sent paul out to fix the dishwasher, looked at the microwave and said the box was bad for tv. He took the box and said someone would be here next day to replace the microwave and fix the tv. Called back to southern bell around 2 pm to find out why no one showed or called. Talked to Georgia, she stated that owners had to approve microwave replacement and paul didn't know that, and they had to send someone to pick up the xfinity box. An hour later got a call saying Teresa was headed to Wal-Mart to pick up a counter top microwave and would be here shortly. Blake showed up to fix tv, it was registered to wrong address and xfinity tech would be by next day to fix. Almost 5 pm we turned on tv for first time and guess what? Not working Called and spoke to Patrick, he knew mothing of the troubles from the previous day. Sending tech by to fix today. Is this office staffed by a bunch of flunkies? Would not recommend staying at this unit. Bathtub drains slow so you get soak your feet as you bathe. Floor tiles are uneven so don't drag your feet or you will stub your toe. Refrigerator door hung on the wrong side for the kitchen layout, and make sure yoy hang onto the door, it is so unlevel it will hit you as it self closes.

If I could give 4.75 stars I would; my only quibble was that reserving online was slightly confusing and I thought I had completed the reservation, but I hadn’t. However, the staff did follow up with me to find out why I hadn’t completed it, so I did find out within a day or two. Other than that, our experience was great! About two weeks before our stay, I got a call letting me know that the property I originally reserved had some damage from a prior renter that had to be taken care of, and therefore it wasn’t going to be available during the time I had reserved. They worked with me to get me into another property or offered to refund me. Luckily there was another property that worked great for us and I think it ended up better than my original choice. The property was very well maintained and literally across the street from the beach. Everything was as described and we had no issues. 10/10 would stay again!

We rented Wade on The Water for a return trip to Tybee. The property is located just off Hwy 80 and within walking distance to the beach and many attractions. Everything was just as pictured on the Southern Belle Tybee Vacation Rentals website, and was tastefully decorated. We were very impressed with the cleanliness of the property- not a spot or area of dust anywhere. The neighborhood where it is located was very quiet. We had never been to this area before. and didn't know where to stay. We called Southern Belle Vacation Rentals, told them what we were looking for and they suggested the perfect place for us to stay. The condo is beautiful, well maintained and has a ton of space. Access to the unit was easy and we loved the covered parking. Stay was very peaceful and private. Hardly heard any pool noise or other people. My husband and I stayed with our son, his wife and 20 month old grandson. This was his first visit to a beach and the ocean and he decided to be fearless, so he had the biggest time with the ocean and the sand. That made our trip special, which was what we were hoping. This area is not crowded and just perfect for families with small children. If we decide to come again to Tybee Island, we will certainly arrange to stay here again.
