This last May 2016, my fiance and I went on a cruise to the Grand Cayman and Cozumel. We had no read idea of where we wanted to go or what we wanted to do. This was our first cruise experience. After looking through several options, we happened upon Land and Cruises and contacted Joe Caudle. He is very knowledgeable and professional. He was open to us changing our dates and where we wanted to go. In fact, one might say we put him through the ringer with changes. He was very easy going and great to work with. He prepared us for what to expect, gave us step by step instructions and there was no confusion for us. Our cruise went without any issues and we loved it so much that we have now booked our wedding cruise for October 2017 with Joe. We are looking forward to having all of our family and friends join us on our next cruise adventure. Land and Cruises Travel Agency should be the only travel agency you should ever call on for your travel needs. Joe is extremely experienced not only in planning exactly what you want but also suggesting other options. Tell him your budget, your likes and dislikes and then sit back and in a short period of time you will be traveling to somewhere perfect for you within your budget or less! Joe had to figure everything out within a tight timeframe for a vacation and within a fairly rigid budget. In my case of the four options Joe came up with, my daughter and I chose a cruise to Baja, Mexico. We flew from Atlanta to LosAngeles. The cruise was in celebration of my daughter’s birthday. Joe politely suggested that we fly out the day before sailing but our time was limited and the flight landed many hours before the ship left port so I convinced him to book our flight on the same day as when the ship left port. However my insistence on leaving the day of the cruise turned out to be a very unwise decision. Our flight was delayed one minute short of five hours. We had a four hour delay due to mechanical failure and had just enough time to land, get our luggage and make it to the ship on time. However once we were on the plane the pilot announced there would now be a weather delay! We were delayed by one more hour, a total of almost five hours. Once on the plane you are not allowed to get off! We were trapped! Even though we missed the ship, Joe found us a great hotel with a beautiful room where we could actually walk to Disneyland and we spent the time planned for the cruise at Disneyland. (The hotel clerk informed me that folks book at least a year in advance to stay with them but Joe found this right away.) My daughter had always wanted to go to Disneyland so she was not disappointed. All during the time at the airport while being bombarded with emails regarding one flight delay after another, Joe was doing everything he could to find us another flight. He also contracted the cruise line to advise them of what was going on. He also spoke to someone in management at the airlines. The minute he knew we had missed the ship he filed for trip expense reimbursement. He spent his whole weekend working on the reimbursement. He was in constant contact with me. He was my support during my disappointment and because my daughter and I were so far away from home it meant the world to me that he cared and tried so hard to make everything better for us. I could go on with many more examples regarding the integrity of Joe Caudle but hopefully you get the picture. I will never forget how plausible Joe was in telling me he would take care of all of the red tape to get the insurance company to reimburse me. The hours he spent in doing so can’t be counted and the promises he made were kept 100%. As it all turned out, we had a wonderful vacation and I was reimbursed within 10 days if not sooner. Joe knew who to talk to and what to say. He stayed in constant contact with me through it all. When you find a travel agent that is owned by such a fine man, experienced in every aspect of the business who has the most integrity of anyone I have ever known you cannot stop telling about how positive the experience was. Thank you for reading all of this. It is important that folks know why to chose Land and Cruises Travel Agency. Please do not waste your time searching for another because they don’t come any better than Joe Caudle and his agency.
