Fun riding in a real hearse and hearing ghost stories. It's a convertible, so you are actually outside. Fun tour

Good value and unique experience. Chelsea was Great.

I had a great time. It was fun and informative! Our driver The Doctor was great!!!

Diane Harper

After 14 phone calls, 3 messages on Facebook messenger, and 2 emails we finally booked the tour. Then the tour was an hour long, the guide hardly talked, and took us to a “cheesy” (guide’s words) butcher shop with a “museum”. He did not provide much information and stories. When I handed him cash at the end said “the cost does not include gratuity” and waited for me to get out money. I must have taken to long because he told the next people “hang on I’m still waiting for her payment.” Gratuity is not guaranteed, it’s based off your performance.

Black Betty was a fantastic tour guide, we really enjoyed her. Definitely request her if you are thinking about doing the tour.

The hearse itself was very cool because it was an actual hearse. This tour will be like any other tour you go on being dependant on the tour guide being good. Ours was great. Gave lots of history that isn't really well known and had fun doing it. Great experience. I'd do it again the next time I stay over night in Savannah.

michelle aguirre

Reaper was a wonderful guide. Very historically informative and overall one of the funnest things we did on our visit. The pictures of ghosts he showed us on his phone were a nice added bonus.

Luv Lima

We had a great time! Our driver Russ was funny and shared lots of history with us. My teens and I enjoyed the tour.

Tina Caviness

We went on this tour this past weekend. It was a fun way to see Savannah and we heard some stories and interesting facts from our driver. However, there was absolutely nothing scary or eerie about the hearse tour. Really wish it was a little scary.

We did this tour last night. I have never been more disappointed in a tour. They decided last night that one of their training employees should be our tour guide. I'm sorry I paid a lot of money for our party of 5 to have a guide stutter and try to remember the history. He failed miserably. He forgot important information about dates, floors and war time periods. The guide appeared to be reading from a paper and was having a hard time reading it. This tour was supposed to funny, it was not even close. For the first part of tour we could hardly hear him and had to tell him to speak up. The tour was supposed to 75-90 minutes long, we were back within 1 hour 5 minutes. 20 minutes of that was spent at a bar, that we were allowed to purchase a cocktail. We did the Ghost Trolley Tour and a Horse drawn Carriage tour. The others were WAY more informative and interesting. I seriously am regretting taking this tour. If I wasn't with my mother I would have requested a refund. I gave this tour a 1 start because 0 stars wasn't an option.

We did the 10 pm tour last night with our 12 & 14 year old and had an amazing time. Peg-Leg Ron was wonderful and Savannah is absolutely the most interesting and beautiful city we have traveled to.

Lorri Bye

We had done a trolley tour earlier in the day and heard many of the same stories as we did in this tour. Although there was more focus on ghosts in the buildings, we expected more of a scary experience than narration. We expected to be spooked and were sadly disappointed. It’s cool riding in the hearse and our guide picked us up early to accommodate our request. It was very hard to reach a live person to book this tour, but when we did, they were accommodating and friendly.

michelle padgett

Heebie Geebie Jennifer was great, she was very funny and educational. We went for my friend Heathers bachelorette party and we all loved it! Jennifer really made the whole experience even better with her great personality and wonderful energy . If you do this tour be sure to book it with Jennifer!

Jessica Vestal

Captain Kirk was our tour guide and he did an awesome job!

Angela Kniery

Ugh! Couldn’t understand the guide, he told no stories and encouraged us to go to peoples houses at night. It poured down rain so we couldn’t see or hear. I learned more interesting haunted stories on the trolley. Was not 90 minutes -for which I am thankful because it was so horrible! We were taken to some garage that was called a museum — pictures from the party store ! Waste of money!

Full disclosure: I'm a tour guide in Savannah. I've been doing historical tours and ghost tours for almost 4 years. I certainly don't profess to know everything, but I knew a hell of a lot more than our tour guide, Dawn. Her historical dates were almost all wrong. Her pronunciation of prominent family names was hilariously incorrect. Her understanding of the history of Savannah was abysmal. I know people don't go on ghost tours for a history lesson, so it's fine that we didn't get one. But the reason this tour is getting such a bad rating from me is that the GHOST TOUR itself was THE worst tour I have EVER been on. We were picked up at the Double Tree Hotel with another group of 4, and were then told we had to go pick up other people at the 17Hundred90. So our tour which was meant to start at 9PM didn't actually start until 9:15. She told us all about her husband, who had recently passed away, which I am terribly sorry for, and proceeded to tell us about the cost of his funeral, his insurance company's refusal to help pay, but said she wasn't looking for sympathy. I understand doing whatever you can to try to make tips. I do it every day. But that was distasteful. So then she said we were going to head over to the Pirate's House. But we never made it there. She spent 30 minutes driving EXCRUCIATINGLY slowly down Wheaton and Skidaway to take us out to Bonaventure Cemetery, which you can't even go in at night. What a ridiculous waste of time. I don't even recall there being a ghost story involved with that part. The trip out there, then offering to let us get out, then the trip back, ate up more than half of the time we spent in the hearse. So after Bonaventure, we rode around Forsyth park for a few minutes, heard some inaccurate history about the Mansion on Forsyth Park and the old Candler Hospital, still no actual ghost story about either of those places, just creepy, wrong history. Then we circled Monterey Square NO JOKE 4 TIMES while she talked about Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil, Jim Williams, and the Mercer-Williams House, with still no ghost. Then we heard some more inaccurate history about the Wesley brothers and the Massie School, and she completely skipped 432 Abercorn, which is the most legitimately creepy place in Savannah. Not a word about it. Then we circled aimlessly around Colonial Park twice, the old jail on Habersham (again, more incorrect history, the date is CUT INTO THE STONE ON THE FRONT OF THE BUILDING FOR CRYING OUT LOUD) before she "ran out of time before she ran out of stories" and dropped the 1790 people off, but not before reminding us of the high cost of a funeral. All in all, this was a bad tour. The hearse itself was uncomfortable, but as Dawn said "it's only built for one." The tour information was lacking and inaccurate, and the ghost stories themselves were lame, if you can even call them ghost stories. I KNOW there is so much downtown to talk about. There are ghost stories about every building in the historic district. WHY spend so much time going out to a cemetery you can't go in when there's so much to talk about downtown?! My friend says that she's had a good tour with this company before, so as with all tours, it just depends on your guide, but this was awful.

Loretta Ho

Worst tour I've ever taken. You are packed so tightly into the top of the hearse and my chair was so wobbly I was fearful that I was going to fall onto the floor at any moment and my knees kept hitting the chair in front of me (I'm short and this doesn't normally happen). Our guide was NOT at all what I would have wanted in a tour guide. He spoke super quickly with a really affected pirate voice and had a thick accent to boot. We couldn't understand a word he said and his delivery was super cheesy, when I wanted to hear facts and to be spooked. From the little I could understand he went from talking about the park to insulting SCAD students. It was so inappropriate, not funny and confusing. When we stopped near our hotel we asked to get off early because we couldn't stand it one minute longer.

Eric Castellucci

It was a very enjoyable tour, and you can't beat the price! Our guide was funny and very informative. It's a smaller tour (we had 6 people total) which I felt made it more enjoyable. The guide is very open to random questions throughout the tour; he actually seemed to encourage it. Things to note: -The ride is a bit bumpy and the seats rock in the car -You may need to meet the group at a pre-designated location (usually one of the hotels) -This is a ghost tour; not a haunted house. Don't be expecting things to jump out at you.

Allie Blair

Went with my family, seven people total. we all fit in the car with room to spare. Our tour was wonderful, the stories were great and funny. It is what you make it. let loose and have fun, this is the place to do it. so much fun.

Jeimy R

Wouldn't do again and wouldn't recommend. Better to do a day tour. Cheaper, more benefits. The Hearse didn't stink but it didn't smell good, the guide was OK. Jokes weren't that funny.

HALEY FYFFE

Sweetpea Sunshine

Mike aka THE WOLFMAN was awesome he allowed me to sit up front and the tour was good very hot but good

Brina S

I confirmed my reservation a day in advance, confirmed the day, time, and address we were to be picked up. The phone number on the hearses matched the number I called. Three company vehicles passed by us and didn't have us on their list. All three drivers were rude, cranky, and in a hurry. None were helpful or even polite. We waited until after the time they were supposed to pick us up. The first time I called I got no answer. The second time the lady said she had no record of the reservation. This is a very shady and unprofessional company. I recommend the ghost trolley tour for much better service.

Despina Kourt

Very informational and fun. Not a lot of space in last seat of hearse- had to sit sideways.

E. Yuridia Gomez

So , we went On this tour, and it was funny, and full of factual information about the history of savanah Georgia. Great time for a inexpensive tour!!!!

Colleen Mahaney

Had a great time on the tour with Dawn of the Dead. We chose this company because we got to ride in a fun 1950s Fleetwood Cadillac hearse and what better way to hear ghost stories than in a hearse?! Dawn told us a lot about the city's history and founders in a way that even the perpetually bored teens and tweens found the tour interesting. We had two little ones along as well so it was great that she had nice warm blankets so we could keep the windows open and still stay warm. Reasonably priced and a good length for a big group of people. Thanks Dawn!

bryan parker

Was horrible, all we did was ride in circles and did nothing. Don't waste your money, disappointment for our family.

Ivy Viola

Really unique experience, our guide was Carey who took the time to stop at a few locations giving us in depth stories about the historical haunts creating a really personable experience. Riding around in an actual hearse was surprisingly more creepy than I expected but Carey's humor kept things from getting too heavy and dark. Would recommend for anyone looking for something different and memorable.

Alexander Carmack

Lindsey Davidson

Hoodoo Joe was everything I could have asked for. After climbing the lighthouse on Tybee island, it was really nice to do a seated tour. I had a wonderful time! And loved that we stopped at a pub halfway through. Thank you for the fantastic evening

Jennifer Hager

The tour was very interesting and our guide was great. It was one of the most entertaining ghost tours I've been on. I would definitely recommend it to anyone travelling to Savannah.

Tisha Brown

Love it

Luke Charles

Ask for Al gorey!!

Savannah Mancuso

Peg Leg Ron was our driver and he was great! Very personable and funny! It was a little hard to hear the tour guide (only reason I didn’t give 5 stars), but overall it was a great drive around Savannah and I loved being able to see all the beautiful architecture and hear stories about the city

Mikey Willoughby

Had a great time. Spooky Steve was awesome . Went for my daughter's 12th birthday and she loved it.

Emily Jones

Best in savannah! So enjoyable! Tones of information mixed with just the right amount of spooky. Cozy ride snug in the back of a REAL hearse Cruzin around the most hunted places in this beautiful city!

Taylor Davis

Kirk was amazing!

Deb Giesbrecht

We had so much fun touring Savannah! Our driver was so much fun, she also told us so much about the buildings there, very informative.

Bethany Tramte Whitaker

We had to start the tour 30 minutes late due to some late arrivals, and we returned an hour after we started. Our guide, Al Gory, had to talk over several drunkards, so some of his stories got lost in translation. On the plus side, he took us to a couple of cemetaries off the beaten path, one of which Juliette Gordon Low is buried in. For a former Girl Scout such as myself, that for me was worth the tour. However, for the money, I would rather one of the walking haunted tours. They are much more scary and informative.

Kimberly Etzel

So Entertaining and Peg Leg Ron was Awesome! I highly recommend.

Kay

If you are looking for a unique experience check out Hearse Ghost Tours! We toured historic Savannah listening to ghost stories in the back of a hearse. Chelsea was our tour guide and she was very enthusiastic, funny, informative and knowledgeable. Someone on the tour had a ghost detector app and actually detected a few ghosts while we were cruising, which was pretty cool. I would highly recommend Hearse Ghost Tours. :)

Mihir Patel

Evelyn Sharp-Heitert

We did a tour last week with Peg Leg Ron and had a great time!!! He was a great tour guide. He was funny, entertaining and everyone should take his tour!!

Brandy Moser

Nicola Brandon

We could not understand a word our guide was saying and he rushed his way through the stories. His timing got was off with what you were seeing and what he was saying. Nothing creepy and then he took us to their gift shop in the middle. If you want good ghost stories go with a different company.

Kimberlyu Harder

After reading all the reviews decided to take this hearse tour was a little hesitant bc the reviews were either really good or really bad but it was a great time and great experience!! Heebie jeebie Jennifer was a good time and made it fun!

Anthony Mercado

Jennifer was a great tour guide and definitely made this tour of just 3 people (my wife, me and another young lady) super fun! She shared great stories, awesome pictures from previous riders and engaged with us throughout the tour! She shared great ghost stories and was not boring. The stop at the local pub and the butcher shop was a nice touch. With it being 10pm- the visit to the butcher was creepy as soon as we got into the lot. I definitely recommend this with Jennifer! In my opinion- she values good convo, sharing details of ghost stories and giving the ride the spooky effect that I expected! Great time!

T Baker

This tour was so much fun. First of all, you're riding in a hearse, enter obvious joke here, "First time in a hearse?" Our tour guide was funny and charming. We drove around the city to all the "haunted" locations. During the tour, they take you to a Haunted Museum that looks like a creepy old warehouse, so I definitely recommend going after dusk. We did the 10pm tour. In the museum, they have a lot of creepy things on display, such as VoodDoo dolls, goat boy head, 3 headed duck and 2-headed turtle. It was senior girl scout trip outing so they found it fascinating. I highly recommend this tour and its a great tour for the price..

Summer Frye

Peg Leg Ron is a very friendly and personable tour guide. This was our second time on the tour and we had a good time.

Alexis Russell

Sooooooooooo good

Ariel Fuentes

Beautiful !!!

Sue Johnson

Absolutely the best! Made my first trip to Savannah fabulous!! Lunatic Laura was the best!

Cheryl Scuderi

I've been on this tour years ago and love it. I highly recommended it to our group of 9. It was very disappointing to say the least. The tour guy was extremely hard to understand, it sounded like giberish. So we didnt get any history out of the tour. The herst emitted a bad burnt gas exhaust fume/smell that burned our eyes. There was one stop at the "butcher" house it was pretty cheesy but the kids got a scream and a few unusual things on display. Unfortunately for $20.00 each, I'd have to say try someone else.

Sandi Snyder

Peg leg Ron Rocks! He was funny, and told great stories along the way. The hearse was kinda cramped but the tour was so fun and we all laughed so much that it didn't even matter. I think it's a great tour that is a little out of the ordinary. The stories were brief and it made me want to look up some of the sights we saw, and we saw a lot! I loved the guide's personality and funny way of telling stories. His southern drawl was sometimes hard to follow but when I finally caught up it was just great fun!! There were 4 different parties on the tour and we all felt cozy and at home. Yes it's hot... But what else can you expect?? It's savannah! All I have left to say is you may feel a ghost and it feels like a cold breeze, or it may just be a cold breeze, ohhhhh yeahhhh!

Eigenbrode

Knowledgeable, entertaining, fun but professional. Hard to hear. Peg leg Ron is the Shi*

Brandy Price

I am on it right now and so board I am leaving a review. Can't say I would ever recommend it. I paid for the same driving tour I went on this afternoon just at night with the guy who could can not drive for nothing. He was incredibly jerky, sudden stop and go so much so we can not even get a picture. His radio will not stop squealing so loud and so much I hear about half of what he said. I would never recommend or ever come back.

beth bailey

Voodoo Joe was our driver Saturday night Sept 14. What an historian. And funny. We decided not to take the trolley tour because Joe told us everything we needed to know. We were Carrie's party of 4. Totally loved it. Thanks Voodoo Joe!

Christi Miller

Omg the best night ever! Chris was our driver and tour host. He takes you through not only the squares and history, but he stops and gets out to deeply express the intensity of what you are seeing and is so in depth with the horror. I had my thoughts that it might be a little cheesy but Chris takes you through the history like you're in it. You feel it....for days. I dont know if it's more kid friendly during the day, but we did the 10pm tour and it was scary af! Will do it again for sure!

Tyler Davis

I went on this tour with my spouse and it was awesome! We started at Moon River Brewery and was immediately surprised. I am a skeptic for sure, but there's no denying the images I caught on camera on the second floor. I am still a skeptic but just cant explain what I saw! So much fun whether you're a believer or not. Our guide Savannah Diana took us on a haunted pub crawl and had excellent affordable recommendations at all the bars we went too. We had so much fun! The only disappointment was that the tour ended two hours later. I would definitely do this one again. Best pub crawl/ghost tour. Very informative and creepy!

Angela Brooks

Cheesy fun! :)

elliot gartenberg

Expected more from this tour. Nice driver did his best but not worth the money.

Ashley Adams

Horrible coordination. We waited around all night to do the 10 o’clock tour and when they came to pick us up, they didn’t have enough seats to accommodate our party, which was booked well in advance. All they could say was “sorry.” :| Don’t waste your money. Do another tour.

Michael Smith

While the driver was great, I couldn't help but to wonder what was up with the cheap, uncomfortable seats. A boat seat or cushion could really have improved the customer experience. Make sure and ask about the exhaust system as well.....ours was terrible.

C M

We had so much fun doing this tour on Halloween. Chris was an awesome tour guide.

Rich Brimer

Came highly recommended by the maitre'd (Happy) from the Olde Pink House. He said ask for Louis. My wife and I did the 9pm tour (picked us up at the Hyatt.) The tour was excellent and fun. Was a cold night, but they had blankets for us. He was very interactive and tailors his stories to the audience...A must do when in Savannah.

Gia Lanza

We went once with Spooky Steve as our guide and LOVED it. So much information, history, stories, energies and frights! We went twice while we were on our vacation in Savannah! It's fun; Spooky Steve is awesome!

Melanie Markman

My folks came down for a visit and asked me what I wanted to do with them. There's a lot to eat and drink around here but I jumped on the tourism thing because I thought they would enjoy it. I actually learned a good bit about Savannah our Tour Guide was funny as hell. I got scared at one point because I'm a pansy. It is an open top vehicle you will be exposed to the elements dress appropriately! We did pay in cash and I can't remember if they take cards or not. That's something more common in this area that cash only is still a thing. Ask for Peg Leg Ron!

Adam Arno

If you go request spooky Steve he made a great experience

Shelby Meyers

Cool concept, but unfortunately it was the worst tour I've ever taken. 1) our tour guide, Ron, texted us at 8:30pm asking if we could meet him at 9:30pm instead of 9:45pm. We agreed and when we arrived a member of our group ran in to use the restroom. Our guide was visibly annoyed. Sighing heavily, checking his phone, and continually asking how long they would be. 2) Guide was a terrible driver. All over the road, speeding, making illegal turns, and sudden stops. Between that and the smell of the exhaust every time we stopped, I was thoroughly nauseous by the end of the tour. 3) Guide spoke in a terrible put on accent and was very hard to understand. From what I could, he was telling more history stories rather than ghost stories and spent even more time trying to make casual conversation with us, expressing his political opinion, and bashing SCAD. 4) Tour was less than 1 hour long. By the time we picked up the other groups it was a little after 10pm. Tour concluded at 10:55 and the guide dropped us off promptly at 11. The tour was advertised to be 75-90mins long and ours wasn't even close. Total waste of $20 for me and everyone in our group. Couldn't recommend this tour less and will be avoiding this company on my next visit!

Carl Mullin

Fun tour - Ron is a great guide and gives you out of the ordinary information - it was chilly the night we went but bearable and he will let the curtains down if you want to but it was more fun with them up - ARGH!

Ann Moffat

Not scary! But an interesting tour. There are lots of "ghost tours" in town to choose from! A bit of fun traveling in a hearse! Lol.

Virginia Lee

We are looking forward to our 2nd visit next week! Peg Leg Ron is the man! I hope he is still touring!

SavannahElzey

Oh my gosh, this tour was AMAZING! Very informative and we even caught a figure on camera in the window of the old insane asylum.I reccomend going at night! They also make sure to make you feel like you're at home and ask if you need anything, food, drink, check on you etc. Pegleg (that's his nickname I can't remember his real name) I think his name was was the best tour guide and even recommended a few places to us.Also,we went back to the sorrel weed house after, and took a photo of the courtyard. And I caught THE LADY IN BLACK in the photo.NOT EVEN KIDDING!! You can fully see her face and an orb next to it! AMAZING TOUR HIGHLY RECCOMEND!

Called a few times a day for a couple days and left a voicemail to try and book something and never got a call back or answer. Too much of a hassle and needs more organization or at least someone to answer the phone.

Lisa Ortega

My partner and I did this tour last night for the first time. It was informative, fun, Chris shared lots of stories, very knowledgeable. Learned a lot about Savannah's history. He answered questions, made us laugh, Got to see the butcher shop too which was a treat. He also shared some pictures taken by him, great stories. He took his time, did not rushed through the tour, it was super nice, I recommend this tour to anyone visiting Savana, it's a must. To think that that hearse was ever used to carry dead people spooked me YIKES. CHRIS YOU ARE THE BEST.

Carrie Garner

We were very excited for this tour and left very disappointed. Peg Leg Ron was a nice guy but we could hardly understand a word he said. I missed more than half of the stories, because I just couldn't make out what he was saying. There are 8 seats in the hearse and you are CRAMMED in. I'm only a little over 5 feet and I banged my head on the roof a couple of times. The seats are wobbly and hard to keep still. My foot went numb part way through, from bracing so hard to keep from falling out of my seat. Unfortunately, the worst part of the tour is mid tour butcher shop stop. We called and specifically asked if there was anything that jumped out or was "scary" on this tour. We were assured it was simply historical and "creepy, not scary at all". Well there is a stupid jump scare in the butcher shop and my daughter was absolutely terrified. She does NOT like being startled or scared and we ended up leaving the butcher shop and waiting in the car for the tour to rejoin us. At that point, she was so upset (and embarrassed) that she was done with the rest of the tour. If we'd had any idea that they did that I'm there, we would have simply waited in the car to begin with and saved us all the trauma. The tour, which was proclaimed as being 90 minutes, took less than an hour. For 4 people, plus a small tip it was nearly $100 and not at all worth it. Our group has decided it was the worst part of our entire trip so far. Skip this and take one of the day time trolley tours instead.

Caitlin Flanigan

This tour was so much fun! Our tour guide, Chris, was very knowledgeable regarding the tour's content, and in between driving, he took the time to stop and get out so as to face us while he was speaking, which I felt made it more personable. In regards to space, it is a little cramped in the hearse, but considering the fact that it's a literal hearse, it did not come as a surprise. Overall, it was a really neat experience that was well worth it.

Vickie Butner

We had Captain Kirk as a tour guide. He was very knowledgeable and very entertaining. He had done his research and now I can't wait to come back to Savannah to check out some of the houses during the day.

Krista Lucas

I'm a Savannah native. My husband and I live away now, but we come home for all holidays. We have done this tour so many times. I can't remember the name of my favorite driver but he has a pony tail. You can tell them what type of driver you want. I.e. More historical knowledge or more fun ghostish stuff. This tour is our traditional date night. Along with Boomy's on Congress St. No matter how many times I go, I'm never tired of it. We even took our whole wedding party and out of town family on this tour the night before our formal wedding in 2009! It took 3 cars but they did an awesome job. If you want real local flavor and a true taste of Savannah... this is the tour to take.

Michael Coe

Fun thing to do in Savannah. Very unique

Anna Briley

I went at 5:00pm and didn't find any signs or indication of where I was supposed to go as a customer. It looked like a big house and all the doors were closed, I'm assuming it was closed, but no signs or information is frustrating.

Dave Owens

We take family & friends when they come to town on the hearst tours and everyone has loved it. Great stories!

India Eve Hartley

So awesome!!! Peg-leg Ron is the best, definitely ask for him! And make sure you go at night

Michelle M Tucker

Everytime I have out of town guest, I get to take another tour. I have been on total of 6 ghosts rides. The drivers make the experience. I have only been on one where the fumes where really bad. I will continue to put this tour on the top of my list for all my visiting friends and family. Late in the evening is the best.

Clare Curtis

This tour was really informative and fun! We loved riding in the hearse with our tour guide. Lots of good stories and information about Savannah.

Kendal Querry

Had a super fun time with Tess as our guide. She texted us hours before the tour to make sure we bundled up, and she provided blankets on the seats for extra warmth. We were staying at an Airbnb in the historic district and she graciously picked us up! The tour itself was informative, casual, and packed with cheesy jokes. The experience of riding in the pack of a hearse learning of the most haunted city in America was priceless!!! Though helpful that the tickets were affordable :). I would certainly recommend this as a must-do experience while in Savannah.

Carlos C

Susie Darby

Had a blast and spooky Steve is the best tour guide!!! Definitely would recommend.

Adrienne Barker

We had best tour operator I ever had on my life...jennifer is incredible....ask for her...made the tour great. The ride is a blast too. A must do.

Alice Sherman

Had the most AWESOME time on this Ghost Tour and recommend as a MUST DO when in Savannah! The history and stories shared were interesting and lighthearted for the fearsome.Heebie Jeeves Jennifer was our tour guide and shared some interesting facts which made it thought provoking and chilling at times. She was entertaining and fun and let us stop at a Haunted Pub- The Six Pence for a quick drink! All in all a fun experience I will put on the top of best experiences in Savannah!!!

Michael Hawkins

Awesome time! Highly recommend!

SARAHKASARAH

Geoffrey Williams

Jennifer was great!

Shannon Kelley-Broring

I did the tour for the first time a year ago with my mom and had such a great time that I decided to bring my 11 year old son while we were here in Savannah. Yet again I was not disappointed. A must - do while staying/seeing Savannah. Our driver Peg Leg was absolutely the BEST and it’s something my son and I won’t ever forget !!!!! THANK YOU Peg Leg for the most ghostly adventure.

Natalie Banks

Peg Leg Ron was awesome! He was full of historic information and made the tour fun! It wasn't so scarey as informative and historic but it was still fun and we got a tour of the larger surrounding area.

Elizabeth Schill Parkinson

Emi Trevino - Wilson

Loved it! Great informative stories.

Simply Tess

The guy couldn't drive to save his life. Went so fast I couldn't take pics or even see most of it. He seemed to be in a hurry to get us out so he could get off work. I've been looking forward to this for a long time and thanks to our driver I will never go again. Sucked!!!

Taylor Hall

Brianna Avants

probably the most boring tour i have ever done in my life. Wasn’t even a ghost tour, was basically just a history tour. Actually almost fell asleep. The tour guide gets out several times, to tell “ghost stories” but basically it boils down to wasting time because they don’t have much content.

Kristin Hoffman

Ridden on this tour many times and its been awesome every time. I recommend Chris for your tour if you want more historical accurate tours and less gimmick.

Michelle Golley

We had a great time on this tour. My then 3 year old son loved it. He repeated the stories told for at least 6 months to any one who would listen. The seats were lacking in comfort, but it was worth the discomfort, for the experience. I would highly recommend.

After a long day of touring Savannah then expectantly waiting for a few hours for our ghost tour, we were a bit disappointed to find out that it was yet another tour of the city with a bit more highlight on people dying. While we did expect this, we also expected to be somewhat frightened while on the tour, yet it was just another leisurely drive. I will admit that the driver had a somewhat good appeal about him and did make us laugh, however it did not represent what we believe a ghost tour should. I do not believe this to be worth $20 per person.

Awesome tour!! I recommend it to everyone! Ask for Doctor! He is the best tour guide.

This was really cool. You sit in the back of a hearse with the top cut off. The guide was very informative.

We had an absolute blast on our tour. Our guide Heebie Jeebie Jennifer made the tour. See was very funny and informative. Would definitely do it again. Thanks again Jen!

Very disappointing and such a waste of money. Our tour guide / driver was a nice guy and tried, but our tour was a disaster. We had the oldest and most broken down hearse they owned. It rained and was lightning so we tried to cancel for safety reasons but they refused to give us our money back. A couple of seats weren’t bolted down so we were sort of sliding around, and we all got soaking wet in the ride. But the kicker was that our hearse broke down and wouldn’t start when we came out of the curiosity building/ attraction. We were stuck there for 45 minutes. Our guide was out in the rain trying to jump start the hearse. Three other drivers came in that time with their groups and didn’t offer to help our guide, just went in the building and came out and left. Our guide finally got the hearse started after us sitting wet, hot and crammed up for 45 minutes by then it was 10 minutes to 8:00 and he had to pick up his next group. So he drove like a maniac to be on time for next group. We all felt ripped off, but we were asked to pay full price and tip even though we missed an hour of the tour we paid for. My advice save your money and avoid this tour. It wasn’t safe or comfortable or enjoyable at all.

Well worth time and $$. Spooky Steve made it a memorable night and the seats were actually comfortable. He did not have a tour after our 7 pm group so we scored extra time! Just make sure you dress for the weather and ask for bathroom stops if it runs long:) He was very accommodating!

Recommend you call ahead. During our visit all vehicles were not available. Only walking tours available.

Paul Harrison

Good original stories. Most ghost yours tell same identical stories. These were new stories that I hadn't heard before.

Christine Beam

It was ok! The driver wasn't a great story teller.

Great tour, in a real Hearse. Savannah is a beautiful city and what better way to see it. We had lots of fun.

While this was not the spooky, scary, and haunting experience we were looking for- it was very informative. Our driver, Ron, was knowledgeable and made great side effects. We would recommend this for history buffs and those interested in a different spin on ghost tours.

Had a private tour during our wedding weekend. So much fun! Thanks!

Brother Bruce was a great guide! Very informative about the area and lots of fun spooky stories. He has a subtle way of telling the stories that grab your attention and knows how to build up for creepy factor. Highly recommend this tour and it will be a plus if you get Brother Bruce as your guide!

This was by far the WORST experience you could EVER have!!! My wife who happens to be pregnant and my son got on this tour with no warnings of the reckless and stolid driving that would then take place. By the time she realized the seats moved and the driver was taking corners like he was racing the Mille Miglia, they were a few miles in. She then asked if the driver could slow down and was verbally assaulted and then put to the side of the road in a very seedy part of town. The next morning i called to voice my displeasure and was told the owner would call me back. I soon found out how the employees got their ATTITUDES!! If you are looking for a family fun evening PLEASE extend your search. The owner wasn't even a resident of Savannah but New Mexico!! Please save your money for locals who know how to treat a family and visitors!!

The worst trip ever.... take the daytime trolley tour! !!! The driver story made no sense .Waste of money. Bust out. Save your money !!! Actually we all had headaches after the long draw out hell tour !!!

My original review was five star. We road around with Black Betty and always had a great time. I found out that Black Betty is no longer there, ok, I am certainly willing to give another guide a try....Here is the problem, I’ve left multiple voicemails yesterday and today trying to book a tour. My husband even called twice. I’m giving two stars in the hopes we still get a callback but I’m not holding my breath. Seven paying customers just completely ignored. I don’t get it. Maybe we will have to find another place to spend our money tonight.
