My wife and I have stopped in here on the way back from several road trips. It makes for a pleasant rest. We've never had trouble finding a nice shady place to park. The bathrooms are always clean.

Visited Florida Welcome center while going to Orlando from Columbia, SC and visited Georgia Welcome Center while we were coming back to SC ( within a span of 3 days). There is a gulf of difference between the two. Florida Welcome center was cheerful, vibrant with nice & clean toilets while Georgia Welcome center I found to be mundane and less attractive. Toilets were not that clean as well. Needs good attention or they have improved already?

Occasionally the state where I live embarrasses me, thinking about the heartbeat law, but there is no cause for embarrassment about this welcome center on I-85, a mile or so after you cross into the state from South Carolina. It's beautifully maintained, tables for picnics outside, with large and sparkling clean restrooms inside the building, along with plenty of space to review displays promoting state attractions, and lots of free literature.

This is a beautiful spot for a welcome center. This one has a friendly staff and nice atmosphere. The bathroom is clean, the building is nice with lots of brochures and staff to help you plan your trip to Georgia, and grounds are well cared for.

Well it's a welcome center so there is not much to be said other than it was clean and maintained with plenty of parking. Very handicap friendly with ample vending options for those who get a bit peckish between gas stops.

There's no restroom access between 11 pm and 7 am. It should be illegal to have restrooms in a state funded building and keep them locked during any hours. Unfair to truck drivers that can't pull into just any fast food or convenience store to poop. Other states welcome centers restrooms are open 24/7. Shows once again Georgia doesn't care about or welcome truckers. They have gates to protect and close off the welcoming information area from the restrooms. Just lock the whole building, not right.

It's been awhile since we've stopped here, but it is a great stop. Clean restrooms and plenty of them. Tons of information on the State of GA. A manned information desk and lots of pictures and displays. It's worth a stop if you are headed south on I-85.

Stop here with Semi all the time. Very clean, lots of light at night and huge parking like 60 spot for Semis plus parking along the back of the spots for stragglers

I never use the facilities as I am never there when they are open! I will say though if you drive a semi truck there is some serious truck parking. I do love taking my 30 min break here and get me a fast nap as I'm a local driver!

Why in the world would you build a welcome area / rest stop where the bathrooms close at 5:30?! So apparently Georgia’s welcome statement is, “Welcome to Georgia: Our bathrooms only work in the daylight.” It’s like I walked into the world of I Am Legend, but where Will Smith’s character runs a rest area and is really paranoid about when and where people use his restroom. Sorry parents who travel at night. Keep your kids emergency bathroom visits to yourselves. That ain’t Georgia’s problem.
