My wife and I had Carey Carpenter help plan and book our 'bucket-list' vacation. We did a first-time river cruise up the Rhine for a week and then we hopped over and spent 6 days in Scotland. We contacted Carey because we knew that she had traveled in this area extensively and we have enjoyed seeing her "living life large" on her travel blog and on her Facebook page. My wife was extremely pleased with how Carey was so organized in getting every detail down to each day and time. (this as big since my wife is a constant list-maker) My wife will brag on how Carey always made herself available to answer all our questions. Our experience with Epperly Travel was truly 5 star worthy. My fiancé and I had the opportunity to take some time together and go on safari in Tanzania. We wanted to make sure we made the most of this vacation, as it might be a once in a life time event. Lindsey and Kelsey’s planning and correspondence exceeded all of our expectations. The itinerary, safari company, accommodations, and travel arrangements were all incredible. Our trip was slightly complicated because my fiancé was already working in east Africa and I was travelling from the states. I was trying to plan a surprise group scuba trip for my husband's 30th birthday and Carey Dryer did an amazing job helping me find and book a location that would check all of the boxes. Carey was very knowledgeable about the various countries on my list which helped me chose our destination, Belize. Words cannot describe how amazing our experience working with Epperly Travel (specifically with Devan Mercer) was. From the very beginning, she was so intentive to what we as a couple were looking for in our honeymoon ...even when we were all over the place at first (from southeast asia to south africa to central america, etc). She really took the time to get to know us, individually and as a couple, and therefore able to help us land on a honeymoon in central america (Costa Rica) which was absolutely perfect. My husband and I are both in healthcare and had incredibly busy schedules this year leading up to the wedding and honeymoon (also preparing to move to a new city after the wedding). Devan was so patient with these crazy schedules, understanding if we took awhile to respond, kept us on task and made sure we met deadlines, etc. What stood out the most is that when I had mentioned several months before that I was busy studying for my medical boards so would by MIA for awhile, the day before my boards she had reached out with an email wishing me luck. I was blown away by this example of her actually listening to what was going in our lives and the thoughtfulness and dedication she puts into her work and those she works with. Where do I even begin? We could not have asked for a better travel agent! From the planning process to the trip home, Megan was more than phenomenal. When planning our trip, Megan assessed our wants and must-haves for our trip and gave us our top choices based on that. We were back and forth for a little while, and Megan never failed to give us all of the pro's and con's of each place to help us with our decision. Before we took off on our trip, Megan made sure we had all of the necessary documents along with the sweet farewell note. Unfortunately, on the trip I fell sick and we needed to get home a day early. We used Epperly Travel for our honeymoon and to say it was amazing is an understatement! Lindsey took care of every detail for our 2 weeks in Hawaii. The hotels were wonderful, especially the Fairmont Kea Lani. I celebrated my birthday while there and received treats and a card. Certainly made me feel special. Lindsey also made sure that we felt at home wherever we went. She sent a photo of our son and cat together and it was framed for our room. Kourtney from Epperly Travel worked on our honeymoon to Portugal and Spain and we'll be forever grateful that she did. Two of my friends and I just returned from a week-long trip to Ireland planned by Epperly Travel consultant Megan Jones. We came to Megan with a vague idea of what we wanted and she turned it into a trip that we will never forget. From the tours to the hotels, Megan customized our trip to give us exactly what we wanted, while keeping it well within our budget. We were met at the Dublin airport by a private transfer that took us directly to our hotel. We stayed at the Harcourt Hotel in the Dublin City Centre. We could not have been happier with the hotel Megan chose for us. We were able to walk to every sight we wanted to see and every pub we wanted to visit. The Guinness and Jameson tours Megan scheduled for us were absolutely amazing. We took a train from Dublin to Galway for the remainder of our time in Ireland. Our hotel in Galway was absolutely exquisite. In addition to housing a beautiful lobby and pub, the Eyre Square Hotel was a less than 10 minute walk from everything we wanted to experience while in Galway. Our biggest tour of the trip took place while in Galway and consisted of a day long tour of the Cliffs of Moher and a ferry ride to the Aran Islands. This was by far the highlight of the trip and will leave us all with amazing pictures and even better memories. We left for the Shannon Airport on our final day in Galway on a private transfer. Megan somehow took an extremely vague idea of what we thought we wanted, and turned it into the trip of a lifetime. All the while, making each transfer and tour so convenient that even three drunk Americans couldn’t mess it up. I cannot imagine traveling in the future unless it’s on a trip planned by Epperly Travel.

I can’t say enough good things about our travel planner Megan! We really wanted an adventurous and active honeymoon and Megan nailed it with our activities. We didn’t orginially know where we wanted to go on our honeymoon, but we knew we wanted it to be different and unique. Megan suggested Colombia as up and coming and we are so glad that she did. She was very timely with all of her responses. I had a full service wedding planner for our 10 month engagement, and I found more value in what Megan brought to us than our wedding planner. Working with Epperly Travel was the best decision that we could have made for our honeymoon. We gave Lindsey and her team our budget, our vision for our trip - what kind of trip we were looking for and what kinds of things were important to us while we were there - and they came back with 3 recommendations and we were able to choose the one that worked best for us! We went to Punta Cana, DR and stayed at Excellence El Carmen and our trip was nothing besides AMAZING. From them arranging our rides to and from the hotel, making sure our SUITE was ready for us when we arrived... there was a honeymoon sash on the door, the bed was covered in rose petals and towel swans, it was clean and the staff was so courteous and helpful. There was nothing that we ate that we didn't like and we loved having the opportunity to have fresh fish every single day. The options of food/restaurants was endless, we never felt like we had to eat the same thing every day (even if sometimes we did!). We spent 99% of our time at the pool, beautiful weather every day, great drink recommendations from Lindsey and Jeremy, great pool service, great night entertainment.... EVERYTHING WAS PERFECT and we want to go back in the near future. No matter where we go next, we will for sure book with Epperly Travel. From the beginning of the process until we got home, they were on top of everything and communication was nothing but amazing. The trip started with just with just 10 of us and it kept growing and Megan was still able to get all of us balcony staterooms together on the deck we requested. I contacted Lindsey at Epperly Travel to plan my honeymoon. I knew I wanted to plan a dream honeymoon for my wife in French Polynesia, but I did not have a clue how to start. Lindsey walked me through the entire process and made it very easy to plan a dream 10 day honeymoon in Bora Bora and Moorea. Amazingly she was also able to do it within our budget. She and her team handled all of the details, all I had to do was submit my information. Epperly Travel was also quick to respond to any email questions I had as I prepared for my trip including luggage, vaccinations, and where to buy booze! The trip itself could not have gone any smoother. Every location we went there was always someone waiting with a sign with our name on it. Our luggage was always taken care of, our rides, our plane flights, and our rooms were all easy and taken care off. All we had to do was show up and relax! We have worked with Megan Jones at Epperly Travel twice now. She planned our trip to Spain in 2018 and most recently, the Dominican Republic in June. Both trips were absolutely perfect! Megan is very responsive and thorough with all questions we have had along the way. Epperly offers several tiers of service "packages" depending on your travel planning needs. For us, we are in the middle. We like to plan some aspects of our trip (some of the sights, places to eat, etc.), but wanted someone to help us with the stressful bits such as figuring our where to stay, arrangement of safe and trustworthy transportation to and from the airport, booking flights and excursions. Epperly Travel will plan every single detail of your trip if you want them to, but they can also be more hands-off if you are like my husband and I and enjoy some aspects of planning a trip. Through our experience, we can tell Megan is passionate about travel, and is committed to encouraging others to go see the world. Epperly builds very strong relationships with properties and vendors and we can tell they take this aspect of their business very seriously. Both properties we stayed at in Spain and the DR were great places quality and with superior customer service. In the case of our trip to the DR, we stayed at a property that Megan herself had stayed twice. Each time Megan has planned our trips, the process has been pleasant, easy, and smooth from the time we email her with our trip idea until the time we return home from our destination. We absolutely recommend working with Epperly Travel! After 40 years, I finally found an excuse to plan a vacation for the first time. As I am a complete novice at traveling and had friends that had worked with Lindsey in the past, I reached out to her for advice. She and Kelsey were extraordinary in helping plan an incredible vacation. With my luck, I picked a weekend to visit beautiful Lake Tahoe during its worst snow conditions in over 10 years. The hotel accommodations they arranged far exceeded any expectation I could have had and all of their recommendations for food and entertainment could not have been more perfect. I was able to have an unforgettable vacation like a pro, with no stress and no effort on my part all because I had trusted the Epperly Team. Because of Lindsey and Kelsey, I have transitioned from a person that always viewed traveling as a headache and stressful situation to someone that can not wait to find an excuse to get away again.
