If I could give them zero stars I would!!! Do not book if you’re coming from a cruise ship!!!!! Horrible! Do not book if you’re traveling with more than 2 people. You will not be able to get on and off and if you do get off you won’t be able to get back on for 2 hours. My family waited through 6 trolleys and then the lady let people that had just walked up get on before us just because they spoke Spanish. As we were waiting this worker named Veronica said we will get you a trolley so you’re entire group can travel together. She said it will be empty just for you guys. There were 17 of us traveling together. I repeatedly told her that we did not have to stay together. We could go 3 on this one, 3 on the next, etc. just so we could get going. She said no, no, one is coming just for you, you want to stay together. I again said we never said that! Then a trolley came up and she told the driver we want to stay together, the driver said there are 3 seats, I again said we don’t have to stay together. This went on and on. The only thing good I can say is Veronica remained friendly despite our frustration but, nonetheless, she repeatedly lied so that just made the situation escalate. Finally, when 12 of us were able to get back on, on the 3rd stop, yes that’s right this happened on only the 3rd stop of 12, because she let the Spanish speakers cut us, my 2 parents who are in their 60’s had to wait behind for the next bus, had she not let these people cut us, we could have stayed together. We tried to get our parents to go instead of us, but they wouldn’t. So horrible!! Do not use this business!!!! You would be better off walking the city.

Thia trolley goes around the whole island unlike the conch one. It have us a great over view so we knew what stops we wanted to go back too. Even tho I was worried since a cruise ship was coming that Sunday it was empty and we didn't have to wait long for the bus. If it's two people it's easier. We saw a group of 5 turned away and had to wait for the following bus so CE there were no available seats.

First time to Key West. We booked the two day trolley and enjoyed the tours and info provided. Hugo on the first tour was super entertaining and provided us with lots of good history and KW facts. Used the trolley to get around instead of walking everywhere.

Idea: good. Reality: well... especially during the peak season, at much frequented times, the system unfortunately doesn't work. The vehicles are full to the last seat from the very beginning. If you get out once, you have no chance to hop on again, except perhaps at the southernmost point, but there are so many people who want to hop on again, that you would have to wait at least 20 minutes in the sun. When we were there, it was about 100 degrees Fahrenheit. At these temperatures you don't stand in the sun for 20 minutes. So we had to walk back, always looking for shady paths. The 38$ were basically wasted money.

Old Town Trolley is a must if you are visting Key West. The drivers are great and the tour lets you off and on near points of interest. No worrys about parking! My husband and I normally go through the complete tour at least once before drbarking at desired attractions. Only complaint...I would like to see the Trolley extend their hours during the summer months.

Let me start by saying that we were really happy with the tour itself. We hopped off and on a few times, enjoyed the drivers we had (especially Michael), and never had any problem with the trolleys coming on time. Our only complaint was with using the "mobile" ticket. We purchased our tickets online late in the afternoon on the day before we wanted to use them. We immediately received the "Customer Support" email that said "please click on the link and review the ticket instructions now for important information, including tour location." It also specifically said, "Internet access is required to activate and use mobile tickets. Screen shots or pictures of your ticket will not be accepted." So we clicked on the "retrieve mobile ticket" button. And then that screen had an "activate" button on it with a warning that you had to use it within 30 minutes of activating, SO... we waited until the next morning about 20 minutes before we were going to board and activated it. We immediately got an email titled "Your Key West eTicket" that said "This email confirms that the Trusted Tours and Attractions eTicket you purchased on 9/6/2019 has now been redeemed in Key West." Great! But there was no real "ticket" image, so we assumed this email was essentially the ticket, or that they gave us a physical one when we showed them the confirmation. We got to the trolley stop at Stop #1. I told the person at the kiosk that we had purchased tickets online, and she said let her see, so I showed her the Confirmation email. She said she needed the eTicket. I said that we didn't get an eTicket - that's what we got. She said I needed to activate it through the Customer Support email, to which I replied that I DID activate it. Then we got the pitiful head-shake because it probably had expired in the 30 minute window. I finally found the Customer Support email, and followed the link where I had activated it. It now had a screen that displayed the "active ticket" - That's what she was looking for. Then she told me to TAKE A SCREEN SHOT of it, and that's what I needed to use. Ok - even though the verbiage online said that Screen shots or pictures of the ticket will not be accepted. So we did that. Went to get on the bus, and the bus driver was confused and said it was supposed to have a check mark on it. We and the driver went to a second person at the stop who explained that you had to get the screen shot at the exact moment because the check mark blinks off and on. We we took a second screen shot with the check mark showing. Ok - we're good to go. On the third "hop on", the driver questioned it because the check mark was not actively flashing. She reluctantly let us on. It was really frustrating to not have any good instructions about what the drivers needed as a valid eTicket and how to capture exactly that. If you need a screen capture of the screen with the flashing check mark, say that ON THAT SCREEN - and say "THIS IS YOUR ETICKET" in big letters", giving instructions on how to take it and use it. Perhaps the company could look into improving the eTicket experience - our suggestion would be to text an official "ticket" image to the phone of the ticket holder, much like an airline eTicket.

We took the tour on April 5th, it's a great way to get around and see Key West, (without the hassle of finding a place to park with your own vehicle). Our driver James was amazing, so many facts and details, he is a wealth of information to learn from, he loves questions about the place, after arriving at stop #1 we got talking and he even took time to share some family history about he son appearing on a TV show.

Three friends and I are in Key West for 3 days. Today we did the old town trolly of Key West. We had one tour guide who did an ok job but was overly serious. He did his job but didn’t seem to enjoy it. We then got Captain Heather! What a wonderful job she did! So very informative but mostly was so much fun to spend time with. Accolades to her for making our tour so very special! Can tell she loves her job! She is a real winner for your company!

We were on the East end of the island at East Martello Museum and Gallery. We decided to take the Old Town Trolly as it had a stop right there. We call the number to ask if we could jump on right there and pay the driver. Then we don’t have to pay for the expensive Key West parking. Well, the woman who answered the phone sounded like she was behind a jet plane. She couldn’t understand me and I could barely make out what she was saying. What she did tell me was that I HAVE to drive down to Mallory Square and park there. So we did and paid $20 for the day. Turns out as we rode the tour (super nice and informative tour guide), there was a booth and lot across from the Marriott right around the corner. That pisses me off. Makes me think they are trying to make tourists give business to the town area. Wouldn’t the city want to minimize the downtown traffic? How about having a person answer the phone who is not in a noisy area?? I called the 800 number expecting to talk to a person in an office, not out on a street. Lousy customer service in my opinion. Won’t use them again when we revisit in the future. In fact, if one company owns both trains, we will skip them altogether.

Overpriced, considering a snorkeling tour is $40 ($31 for this). This firmly belongs to the side of key West I wanted to avoid. It belongs with the overpriced restaurants with bad food and waterdowned drinks. There's a caveat, IF you have limited mobility, then it can allow you to enjoy the town. But that's the ONLY way this is a good deal

In my opinion an employee of this company committed fraud when we purchased our tickets. We specifically asked if we would be able to ride to a particular stop, get off the trolley, visit a site and then re-board another trolley to return to the location where our bus would be picking us up. She absolutely affirmed that we could. So we purchased our tickets and boarded the trolley. Two stops later the trolley driver stopped, got off the trolley - saying he was done for the day and we all had to get off. He directed us to another trolley that had no driver. A half hour later a driver showed up and said this was the last trolley of the day and there was no way we would be able to complete our promised route. The employee was well aware of this when she sold us our tickets. To sell a product with a promise when the vendor knows full well they have no intention of providing that service is - in my opinion - fraud!

I cannot in good conscience recommend this old time trolly service. While the tours are comfortable and well narrated, there were too many full trams unable to pick up passengers and trolleys that simply failed to show up at stops in a timely manner.

I traveled with a group of eleven: dad (handicapped with a walker), my mother (90 years old) and my other mom (with a loss of sight in one eye) along with my adult children. We took the trolley and had to get off at the end tour, we then reentered another trolley after waiting a few minutes then traveled to #3 stop but were unable to get a ride back. I sent three members on foot and the others (8 total) waited and waited and waited. The agent at the site location was unable to keep us informed with the situation, she provided the Dispatch Manager Gary's number to me. I informed his two trolleys had gone by full and three traveled to get gas. After three calls to the Dispatch Manager Gary, we got a trolley that took us to the 13th spot, she mumbled inappropriate comments and negatively address the trolley participants that she had to go off route to aid us - this was uncalled for, then another driver picked us up and delivered us to the beginning so that we could return to the ship. My parents were hot, over heated, and anxious about their ship leaving without them. It was the last day of a wonderful vacation and cruise, unfortunately this experience left them with a negative impression of your service on the island. What can be done to provide better guidance and service??????? Your service feel very short. We have ridden your trolley in St Augustine and Savannah with great success and fulfillment. Key West Trolley experience was totally unacceptable, so sad!!!!

We used Old Town Trolley for an overview of Key West and we intended to use it for transportation as well as there are 13 stops throughout Key West. We ended up walking as it suited our needs and our schedule. We did not need our two-day pass. Ghosts and Graveyards Tour was a little too tourist kitsch for me but everyone seemed to have a good time. Old Town offers discounted tickets to local attractions that are worth thinking about but be sure to plan your time before buying the tickets so that you don't leave your money behind unused.

The tour guides are knowledgeable and they are friendly. However, it is terribly arranged. The buses are scheduled every 15 minutes but they let people on board that don’t have tickets instead of letting people that have tickets first. Also, if you have three or more, you will wait quite a long time to find a bus that will have space for all your party because of this. When I called dispatch, the women was very rude. Told me she would call to find out when they can get a trolley by and would call me back. Never called me back. We ended up walking 6 blocks down to the next stop after waiting 45 minutes and not being able to get a ride and almost made us late getting back to the boat.

Loved the trolley tour. Have used same company in Savannah and at Arlington National Cemetery, and expect to use them again in San Diego. I find it's a great way to move around, get oriented to the town or area and get some history while you ride and enjoy. Loved Louie, think he could do amateur stand-up comedy!!

This is a good way to see the whole island and discover new places you might miss on foot or scooter. Detailed ride through old town followed by a ride around the coastline of the island. We got a two day pass just for transportation purposes. From beginning to end the full circuit is around an hour and a half.

These guys were super knowledgeable and punctual. They offer 13 stops throughout the island and most are near tourist hot spots. We jumped off at the Higgs Beach stop and waited about two minutes for the trolley to show up when we were ready to continue the tour.

Old Trolley Tours are awesome and very well put together whether you are in St. Augustine or Washington D.C. The cost is reasonable and I like the little book that you get. It helps me decide what I want to visit before I start exploring the area. The trolley drivers are knowledgeable and funny. Ours was especially kind as he helped my mom to find a piece of cheese. She's diabetic and forgot to have a snack before our tour. She can be so irritating, but our tour guide was nice to help her like that.

We paid $65 to do the tour. We have 2 kids and it's easier than walking. We got off at a stop for a bathroom break and have now been waiting an hour at this stop to get on another trolley bc they are all full & nobody called dispatch to let them know people were still waiting to board the trolley. I had to call them myself after 2 trolleys leaving full. Insane!

Best money spent to see Key West. It was approximately $22 for the day to tour all of key West with sightseeing and history. You can get off and on at 13 different locations. I got on and off about 3 times. All of the drivers were great. The last driver I had was terrific His name was Art. He had only 2 seat left. I made sure we got a spot before boarding. If we got to a stop and he was full, he would radio ahead to let the next trolley know to pick up. He was full of knowledge of the area and was so helpful to everyone. I will be recommended this company back to my travel agent and friends. This is a must to see it all. Thank you for making my short time in key West wonderful and making me want to come back to spend more time.

This is a must especially if it's your first trip to the keys. My mom is diabetic and started to have a sugar low, she got off for a quick snack, our driver radioed to get her some cheese to help her out!!! Fun facts about the area, you can get on and off as you please and wonderful staff.

It was pouring rain. They had a shuttle pick us up at the ship and take us to their terminal. We switched onto a clean trolley and then went for a tour of the Island. The driver was fantastic explained points of interest, such as Hemingways house, Trumans retreat and others. Driver also was very funny. We were able to get off and on when we wanted. Then at end we were shuttled back to ship.

There are two trolley tours in Key West, oddly enough owned by the same company and with the same cost though they have different stops. This trolley has more stops, so if you're staying farther out on the island, this might be more convenient. I also found this tour to be better if there is inclement weather as it has a full roof and flaps that come down on the sides. The conch train is more open and you're more likely to get wet. The trolleys were always packed though and it seemed like the half an hour wait was too long some times; they need to run more trolleys on busy days. Trolley drivers were pleasant and full of interesting information about the island you won't find anywhere else. Highly recommended for an intro to Key West.

The old town trolley is well worth the price of admission. We took the trip all the way around the island and got the whole tour. Our driver was very knowledgeable and told us a lot about the island. We then took the trolley as a ride around the island but be worn that they stop at around 4:00p and you will need to source a new ride afterward.

Wow! What a great tour of Key West! The tour guide description by the driver of the trolly was great. Key West is really an interesting town – lots of history, beautiful homes and gardens. This is part of Florida where you should spend at least a few days to explore everything that it has to offer.

If the company could clone Louie and put him in every aspect of tourism people would be standing in line not only to see the sights but to listen to Louis. He made our excursion EXCELLENT. Was an awful experience with the costumer service, a very nasty person in charge, totally rude and disrespectful with an older couple to the point that they got insulted by her with bad words, sadly I don’t have her name but it was a brunette Latina, just as a suggestion guys, you have a company to roll, the persons that has that kind of character and bitterness should be doing maybe an office job but not dealing with the public cause they leave the face of your company in a very bad position, worst experience ever!! And I’m giving you one star cause there’s no way to leave none.

Kind of expensive for a family of four, especially when waiting an hour to actually board. Plus, you are forced off at stop 1, so you can't get on at another stop and keep going past the one they seem first. If you're visiting while cruising, as we were, and have children, I highly recommend bypassing this and finding another mode of transportation to go to Fort Zachary Taylor State Park for a fabulous beach day.

Beware...they will take you all the way to the new part of Key West to pick-up riders from several hotels. The tour is too long since they changed to this route and they didn’t have enough room for everyone getting back on at several of the most popular stops. Took up most of our day...very disappointed as we have had great tours in the past with no issues. Not recommended!

I had an amazing tour with Vince. If you decide to tour make sure you ask for him. I went on an evening tour during the government shut down. A lot of the lights were off on the monuments and there were no restrooms but he still made it worth my time and money. He has a passion for history. His knowledge about each monument and the person it was created for was profound. It gave me a deeper appreciation for history. He also made sure everyone was safe entering and exiting the trolley because it was icy. Thank you give Vince a raise I'm sure every other rider would agree!

Typical tourist tipoff. If you get off the trolley, expect to wait an hour to get back on, and that's only if there is room on the bus. You can always call and ask if another trolley is ever coming and they will promptly hang up on you. Don't waste your time and money!

We purchased our tickets on their website to get the discount. We liked that we could ride all day. We hoped off to walk to certain areas then we would wait to be picked up. We never waited longer than 5 minutes. The drivers that we encountered were fun and knowledgeable. If you are touring Key West, this is the way to go.

Very disappointed. Book our family of 5 since it was raining and something to do (5/26/18). 1st lady at booth 3 (Robin from Rhode Island I believe) as supper rude, not helpful, and when trying to order museum entrance tried charge all adults saying the one age limit is under 10 when found out it was 12. Never was able to get back on trolley after getting off on stop 5 (2 stops up) so much money wasted... I'm furious. Trolleys were all full. Then to make it worse, the driver when trying to get on saying no to us it was full, thought it was a hilarious joke and laughing. Pouring down rain on us and waiting two trollies at 30 min each still not able to get on ... and he makes some joke having full trolley laughing at us ... lucky I didn't hear exactly what was said or I would of jumped on it and gave him a piece of my mind. Not funny when 2nd trolley pulling away an hour later in pourung rain not able to ride and worse pulling away with people laughing at us. Hope you got your tips bud ... not! Your business is rude, disrespectful, and totally a waste of a lot of money for our family trying to make due of the pouring rain on our vacation. Only positive thing was the lady on phone when we called to get tickets ordered on line, that Robin couldn't assist, came to booth to assist pulling up our reservation. She was very helpful .... too bad she doesn't run the trolleys.

Drivers are bullies on the road when no tourists are looking. Not good stewards of the road or polite to local traffic. Getting tired of them pushing their weight around on the streets.

Fun, attentive staff and great experience. Great way to see Key West and pick up on local information. They do put extra cars into service when there's an increase in demand. I ran the circle once then stopped at a few places for sightseeing. Highly recommended. It can get busy in the morning if there's a cruise ship in port.

My husband and I took my mom and our friend to Key West for my birthday. We used the Hop On Hop Off trolley to get around to see the sights. Our first guide, Cookie was really good. She was pleasant and fun. Our 2nd guide, Louie was a total blast! He could do a stand up comedy routine. We hated getting off his trolley. Loved our trip! Thanks so much!

A MUST DO while you are in the Keys! We took the 90 minute tour around on the Trolley before we committed to a location. It was beautiful cool weather and the drivers are all informative of the area and sites. The 2 day pass was worth it! There are multiple stops to see it all! Thank you.

Really cool feature for the Island. Very informative and fun. My husband and I were pretty content with all the information on the island our drivers Ross and Ben were really cool! The only thing I didn't like was the hours they do the tours, ends pretty much at 4:30 pm and i wish the tours would end a little bit later, to me 4:30 pm is still too early.

Depending on who you get, these tours can be a blast! The first driver we had was energetic and fun. The second was a bit slower and the third was more interesting than the second. They do have a wealth of information on the island though!

Was told that the trolleys run every thirty minutes, got off at a stop and did a tour had to rush through only to wait outside for a trolley not show up till an hour after we had been dropped off. When we called the company to ask about another trolley the woman who answered the phone named Mrs Johnson just hung up on us. Poor customer service

Today i had one off many tours with you guys. Only for grate experience before i will continue recommending you to our guests on ship But if this was my first trip with you. It would be last for sure Thanks to your guide Jim. Jim needs to learn how to adress s people asap. Me as a crew crew member first time felt bad because I'm a crew member on your bus. Firstly Jim sends us back for the tickets i do we never needed them wit our id. Than after we bring it and told him that lady on tickets said as well we dont need them. He answered frustrated "because you are crew members" well yes sir "good for you" firstly saying in mic we are crew members secondly continue argue till his word is last. Following that he addressed me rude because i talked. Understandable i should not but to tell me "sir if you dont stop talking next stop is yours " woooow. Poooor. Not to mention that his narration was same pace and super quiet . Horrible tour guide . But only one. Beside this all is grate. Mister Jim you are in hospitality industry.

This is the second time we have used old town trolley tours . The first was when we visited savanah ga. When we went there the drivers took their time and covered alot of awesome info. Today's tour in key west we were hoping would be similar. Unfortunately it was not. Unless you were in the last seat and you could look out the back window. Very fast driving. Very quick with the unloading and offloading . Like they were being timed or something like that. I was really looking forward to seeing the hemmingway house . I barely got to see the wall outside it. Couldn't even take any pictures they were moving so fast. I'll be rethinking using them in the future. I'd suggest you do too.

The Ghost Tour was beyond horrible. Half the people were yawning; I don't even think a 6 year old would have enjoyed it. You couldn't hear and/or understand the guide and what you could hear was nothing but silliness. You stop to visit a museum where you are forced to speak to a doll to ask permission to enter and exit! Total nonsense. You cannot get on and off and there are no bathroom breaks despite there being a bathroom at the "museum" you visit to see some stupid doll. I wrote to the company and requested a refund under the money back written guarantee. I have received nothing but a run-around and almost 6 weeks later, I still have no refund.
