Horrible service! Don’t buy tickets here!! If I could, I would give 0 stars!!! They don’t even deserve 1 star! I booked a ticket for a bus from Philly to New York in December 2017 via GoToBus. First, they confused me with a ‚new address’ for my bus in Philadelphia a couple of weeks before my actual trip, but the ‚ticket reminder’ they send me one night before my trip had the old address in it. I send them an email back telling them that I‘m confused. I got no response to this. So I went to the ‚new address‘ because I thought that must be right. Instead of finding the „HG Bus“ that I had a ticket for, I found a Chinese bus company at the location (the „new address“). A person behind the window at the chinese bus company told me that „HG Bus“ is closed and not driving anymore!! Nobody from GoToBus told me about this!!!! I would’ve waited there for hours, not knowing that the bus I got a ticket for is shut down and will not arrive!! So I had to buy new tickets for the Chinese bus because I didn’t had time to do anything else anymore. This made my experience even worse. Now, I‘m sending emails about this to GoToBus for more than two weeks. I didn’t get one reasonable email back that would help me with my problem. I told them I simply want my money back because the bus didn’t even come! No response!! What is wrong with those guys?! I am so disappointed, I relied on them and that was my biggest mistake! Can’t recommend them at all. And now all they do is ignoring me. So poor!

Horrible service, there is no order or regulation, they pretty much do what they like even though we're paying customer. Use their service at your own risk!! One time I booked round trip tickets from Wilmington to NY, but the departure bus driver took my return ticket, and on my return trip, the guy checking tickets WOULD NOT HONOR IT and didn't want to hear what I have to say. Mind you, there are a lot of open seats on the bus. He got so rude it was almost menacing, and the other passengers were speaking up for me. I was shaking and almost in tears. Someone was even kind enough to offer me their spare ticket, but he REFUSED TO ACCEPT IT! The reason he gave us was "because". Can you believe it?? I had to get on that bus because it was late, and I had to get home. I had to pay for the extra ticket, If I didn't have cash on me I'd be screwed. Worst experience ever. I still can't believe that he went the extra mile to be this mean. It's almost like we're not customers but we're begging to get on the stupid bus. By the way there's no way to report bad service, phone never connects. They're also very consistently inconsistent, meaning the bus is either always early or late. I get it, traffic is not within control, but they'd leave 20 minutes early even if you reserved the tickets early. Bad luck if you're left behind.

Bus late by 30 min, but other days if you show up late yourself, they will never wait for you. Rude staff at ticket counter who are unresponsive, provided no updates on the delays. Take megabus these people are a joke.

My bus was for 12:30pm from new York to Wilmington. It arrived about 12:06pm and left New York about 12:16 which is wrong due to the fact on the e ticket it states no refunds for missing the bus or canceling. We also made a stop somewhere in jersey for a 10 min unauthorized break. Like why it's not like we going to Virginia. They need to either leave when stated or change their refund policy

I booked a ticket on (what is now known as) Rockledge Bus from NYC to Wilmington in early April 2019. Bus stop in Midtown NYC was not clear at all (for the record, the Midtown NYC stop is on 5th Avenue on the sidewalk between 30th St and 31st St -- no bus stop sign), but the bus arrived at the stop on time. WiFi did not work (no surprise there), but the power outlets did. The bus was pretty grimy. I didn't dare venture into the bathroom, given the disgusting pictures posted on other review sites. Our bus was about 40% full but soon became 100% full when we stopped about 1 hour from Wilmington, DE, to pick up passengers from an earlier bus that caught a flat tire. We literally picked up the passengers in the middle of a highway(!). Bus driver was driving pretty fast and aggresively. Arrived in Wilmington about 20 minutes late. Rockledge is definitely the cheapest bus option out there between Wilmington and NYC, but definitely be aware of the risks before you book!
